The 220 is an icon and everybody who loves Pulsars, definitely loves the 220.

Now Bajaj Auto has updated this motorcycle for the year 2017.

Here is what's new.

To start off with, this motorcycle gets the automatic headlamp on feature,

Which means that the headlight on and off switch has been removed.

The Pulsar 220 now gets a gun metal engine colour.

The instrument cluster has been updated, it gets new graphics and the faux carbon fibre treatment all around.

The new colour scheme looks quite attractive and we love the graphics on this motorcycle.

It also gets rim stripes.

Bajaj Auto has updated the motor on the Pulsar 220,

No, it doesn't get more power or torque and it really doesn't need it because,

This motorcycle is quite torquey with good low-end performance,

And most importantly it has a decent top speed too.

The Pulsar 220 is now BS-IV compliant.

The Pulsar 220 also gets a new exhaust which gets a deep carbon black silencer with chrome accent

And it sounds much better than before, it's also much smoother.

In terms of dynamics, there are no changes to the Pulsar 220,

It still rides the same as before which means handling is quite neutral,

It doesn't have the best stability around corners but yes in terms of ride quality, it is quite fantastic.

Braking performance is decent although it could do with more stopping power.

The Pulsar 220 is going to sell even more than before because this model looks more attractive,

It gets more features and best of all, it sounds even better than before.
