SPEECHES AND THEY MAKE ON COLLEGE CAMPUSES OR SOMETIMES

THEY WILL BE BARRED FROM A COLLEGE CAMPUS BECAUSE PEOPLE

ARE EITHER OFFENDED BY THE SPEECH OR THERE IS GOING TO

BE WIDESPREAD PROTEST IN THE CAMPUS DOESN'T WANT IT AND

THEY MAKE IT SEEM LIKE THEIR SPECIAL VICTIMS AND IT

DOESN'T HAPPEN TO ANYONE ELSE.

WELL, IT HAPPENS IN AS WELL AND THIS HAPPENS IN MY

ESTIMATION FARMER FREQUENTLY BECAUSE IT HAPPENS IN THE

DARKNESS AND IT HAPPENS BY BOARD MEMBERS WHO ARE FAR MORE

CONSERVATIVE AND OVER RULED THE WELL OF THEIR STUDENTS BUT

IT DOESN'T GET ANY PUBLICITY.

I WANTED TO POINT IT OUT BECAUSE IT ADDS TO THE CONVERSATION IN

THE COUNTRY AND YOU NEED TO KNOW THAT THE SNOWFLAKES ON THE RIGHT

ARE NOT THE ONLY VICTIMS IN THE WORLD WHO ARE OH MY GOD

AGGRIEVED AND ALL THE PEOPLE WHO PRETEND TO BE FREEDOM OF

SIEGE ADVOCATES THAN IN A CASE LIKE WHAT HAPPENS WITH

WILLING TO SPEAK AT THE UNIVERSITY.

YOU GUYS KNOW I LOVE BEING ON A COLLEGE CAMPUS AND SO I GOT

EXCITED RIGHT AWAY AND I SAID YES, I LOVE SPEAKING ON

COLLEGE CAMPUSES, SURE.

HE TOLD ME OKAY GREAT, THE REASON WHY I AM REACHING OUT TO

YOU IS BECAUSE THE STUDENT BODY NOMINATED YOU TO SPEAK ON A

PANEL ABOUT CHANGING AMERICA.

THAT WAS THE TITLE OF THE PANEL.

USUALLY UNIVERSITY EVENTS ARE NOT, I DON'T KNOW.

THEY ARE NOT ANYTHING CONTROVERSY ALSO I DIDN'T THINK

HE REACHED OUT TO ME AGAIN AND JUST SAID YEAH, IT TURNS

OUT THAT SOME MEMBERS OF THE SCHOOL BOARD DO NOT LIKE

WHAT YOU HAVE TO SAY ABOUT TRUMP AND DON'T LIKE WHAT YOU

HAVE TO SAY ABOUT FROM SUPPORTERS.

SPECIFICALLY WOMEN WHO VOTED FOR TRUMP.

HERE'S THE THING.

ON ELECTION NIGHT, I SAID NEGATIVE THINGS ABOUT

FEMALES WHO VOTED FOR TRUMP BECAUSE I DISAGREE WITH THEM.

I THINK IT IS STUPID DEVELOPER TRUMP BECAUSE HE HAS SHOWN TIME

AND TIME AGAIN THAT HE THINKS OF WOMEN AS SECOND-CLASS CITIZENS.

THE USE OF PROFANITY IN MY ARGUMENT?

YES I DID, BUT THAT IS NOT SOMETHING THAT I REGRET AND

I WILL NEVER TAKE BACK.

IT IS NOT BECAUSE I'M A BAD PERSON.

IT IS BECAUSE I DON'T MAKE ARGUMENTS UNLESS I MEAN

THEM AND UNLESS THERE IS SOME LOGICAL REASON BEHIND THEM.

UNIVERSITY IN COLORADO AND I WAS UPSET FOR ABOUT TWO MINUTES

AND THEN I REALIZED OKAY, THIS IS THE PRICE YOU PAY WHEN

YOU ARE UNFILTERED, WHEN YOU DON'T CENSOR YOURSELF AND

YOU SPEAK YOUR MIND.

IT IS WHAT IT IS, I'M GOING TO MOVE ON.

I'M NEVER GOING TO CHANGE WHO I AM BECAUSE I WANT TO APPEAL

TO MORE PEOPLE OR MAKE MORE MONEY OR ANYTHING LIKE THAT.

I DON'T KNOW, I AM FRUSTRATED BY IT BUT AT THE SAME TIME I DON'T

WANT TO DEMONIZE THE SCHOOL AND I DON'T WANT TO DEMONIZE ANYONE.

I JUST WANT TO MAKE IT CLEAR THAT THIS KIND OF STUFF

HAPPENS TO A LOT OF PEOPLE WHO HAVE CONTROVERSIAL OPINIONS.

SO, I THINK I'M A LITTLE MORE PITSTOP ABOUT IT THEN YOU ARE

BECAUSE THEY VOTED AND LIKE YOU SAID, IN THIS CASE, IT IS NOT A

MINORITY DORKY COLLEGE REPUBLICANS, THREE OF THEM

WANT THIS GUY TO COME SPEAK AND THEN BY THE WAY, THEY PAID

HIM A TON OF MONEY OUT OF ALL OF YOUR FUNDS TO GO SPEAK.

THE REST OF THE STUDENT BODY DON'T WANT HIM AND THAT'S

PART OF THE REASON A PROTEST.

IN THIS CASE THE STUDENT BODY WANTS THEM IN SOME

CONSERVATIVES ON THE BOARD GO KNOW.

I LIKE TRUMP AND SHE DOESN'T SO I AM GOING TO BAN HER.

PART OF THE REASON WE DIDN'T TALK ABOUT IT BEFORE THE

BERKELEY THING IS BECAUSE I DON'T WANT TO GET PEOPLE IN

TROUBLE.

I DON'T WANT TO GET THE THIRD-PARTY IN TROUBLE.

WERE SUCH LIBERALS I DON'T EVEN WANT TO GET THE COLLEGE IN

TROUBLE BUT NOW I'M A LITTLE PASTE.

THIS PROBABLY HAPPENS WHEN MORE OFTEN KISS CONSERVATIVES

NOBODY EVER FIGHTS BACK AGAINST IT.

SAY THIS: IF YOU WANT A SPEAKER, DON'T LET YOUR CONSERVATIVE

BOARDS DICTATE WHO CAN AND CAN'T SPEAK ON YOUR COLLEGE CAMPUS.

DON'T LET YOUR LIBERAL BOARDS DICTATE THAT EITHER.

WE'VE BEEN ON THE RECORD IN REGARD TO CONSERVATIVES WHO

ARE GOING TO THESE COLLEGE CAMPUSES.

YEAH, THEIR INTENTIONS ARE TO PROVOKE A REACTION AND

BECOME A NEW STORY, BUT I STILL THINK IT IS IMPORTANT TO

LET THEM GO SPEAK.

this being an original Huawei product,

you should be sure of its quality and durability,

in a sense that this case structure

won't turn yellow over time

and it will be wear resistant.

It's really flexible and light,

it does give a little bit of rainbow effect

when the light hits it,

I don't know if you're a fan of that or not,

but I think it's kind of cool.

The case is so thin, it's barely noticeable on the phone,

it acts as a phone's second skin per say.

There is no bulk, yet,

a great display of the design, and

also it will provide your phone the basic protection.

There's a nice round cutout in the back,

for the fingerprint scanner, and

all the cutouts are generally very, very precise.

So, if you're looking for a scratch-proof case

that will allow you to always see

how brilliant the phone's design is,

go for this one, we highly recommend it!

Here is another case that is made

with a priority of keeping the glass design visible,

and slightly protected.

Huawei thought of it all when

releasing this particular model.

So we have a case that completely blends in with your Honor 8,

by color and my glassy shine,

and premium feel in the hand.

Keep in mind though, that this case

is not a type you would like to buy

if you want to shatter-proof your phone

rather, you'd probably get it, simply

to enhance the look of your new Honor 8.

The cutouts in this case or rather generous,

if you can even call them cutouts,

since, only the edges of the phone are actually covered,

and those edges are slightly lifted over the screen,

so you can keep it face-down,

without worrying about scratching it.

Basically this case won't do much

when it comes to protecting your phone

from maybe a serious drops or even a minor bump,

but it will look really good on your phone

for the time being.

Next up we have:

360 degrees case by 4smarts.

One more of many ways to show off

your new Honor 8 phone and keep it

safe from bumps and scratches.

I just think this phone is something

not worth covering or hiding

with anything but the transparent case really.

Just look at that design,

the video can't do justice

to the effects, this layers of glass

can make when the lights hits them

it's beautiful but that's one more reason

why this phone should be definitely protected

from damages and wear-tears.

How to protect this stunning phone,

without taking away from its beauty:

and won't take too much of your time.

Aikido Interview - Isoyama Hiroshi Shihan 8th Dan Aikikai - Part 1 - Duration: 16:48.

You started Aikido at a very young age, could you tell us about it?

A lot of the other teachers say that they started Aikido

because they were moved by O Sensei's words

or because it was a Budo of harmony,

but for me, it was different.

Frankly, I didn't want to lose in street fight.

I came here when I was in grade 7 at the age of 12.

I think it was June 1st, 1949.

What was the training routine like in the Iwama dojo?

Back then, there were no tatami in this dojo.

It was wooden flooring

so projections weren't like today's where you would be thrown on the floor

making "bang, bang, bang, bang" sounds on the tatami as you took ukemi.

First of all, in O Sensei's classes,

you would start gently from easy techniques and move on to more difficult ones,

so I started from suwariwaza and gradually moved to hanmi handachi, and then tachiwaza.

Guillaume started in the group of Andre Nocquet. Did Nocquet visit the Iwama dojo often when he was in Japan?

While I was here, I think that he came a few times, but not that often.

I trained with him a few times when I went to the Honbu Dojo with O Sensei.

When I was still in high school,

Mr Nocquet who was really well built,

but his nikyo didn't work at all on me,

while mine worked just fine, so he said that there was something wrong.

He was trying hard though.

Then Kisshomaru Sensei came to tell him he wasn't doing it right and he demonstrated it on me.

That's my memory with him.

When you started, the techniques were called "kajo" instead of "kyo", did they bear more resemblance with that of Daito-ryu Aiki-jujutsu?

That's definitely true.

When I was taught by the founder, we would use the kajo system

and call it ikkajo, nikajo, sankajo, and so on.

But when Andre Nocquet came to from France to the Honbu Dojo as an uchi deshi,

we didn't have such a thing as a manual,

so Kisshomaru Sensei published the first Aikido book, and in it,

and in it, he didn't use ikkajo, nikajo, etc. but ikkyo, nikyo, sankyo, etc.

Actually, in koryu jujutsu, both of these systems coexist.

Kyo is written with the kanji "to teach", but I didn't know what it was at first,

I was wondering how it was supposed to be written,

and it's only when I read the book that I learned it.

So back then, kotegaeshi was the same,

but nikyo ura was called kote mawashi.

Now it's been changed.

Why were the names changed from "kajo" to "kyo"?

Well, I don't know what Kisshomaru Sensei had in mind...

I think that it was probably because the kajo system was used in the Daito-ryu scrolls

that Takeda Sokaku Sensei used to award.

He probably wanted to move away or update things from that.

This is my just my guess though.

The 5 principles of Aikido are organized in a very similar way to that of Daito-ryu. Do you know why?

When I started back in 1949,

O Sensei's techniques where a bit different compared to those in his later years, even if they were both called ikkyo.

In Daito-ryu for example, what is called ikkajo is a set of several techniques, but that's also true in aikido.

For example, we might simply call it ikkyo, but there's a variety of techniques from shomen-uchi, yokomen-uchi, and katate-dori.

So there are different versions of ikkyo.

People used to say that there were more than 2000 techniques in the basic curriculum alone.

If the techniques called ikkyo to gokyo are also principles, does it imply that others such as kote gaeshi, hijikime osae, shiho nage, aren't?

Well, I think, whether or not it's associated with the word kyo doesn't determine the importance of a technique.

For example, the techniques from ikkyo to gokyo are all immobilization techniques,

and the techniques like kotegaeshi, shihonage, and iriminage are projections.

So the techniques under different names have different characteristics and you can't simply categorize in terms in such a way:

"This technique is superficial and that one is essential"

It seems that the name "Aikido" was chosen by a committee wasn't it?

Well, I don't know,

but it's been written in some books.

Apparently Hirai Sensei would go to Butokukai to teach on behalf of O Sensei,

because he was one of O Sensei's students.

At the time, I'm not sure if it was called Daito-ryu Aiki-jujutsu,

but apparently it's at that time that they used the word Aikido for the first time.

I'm not sure about that.

When I came to join here, it was called Aikikai Foundation.

The Aikikai Foundation was approved by the Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology in 1947.

Before that, it had been called Kobukai Foundation for a long time.

Then after the war, I think it was 1947, the Ministry approved the organization as Aikikai Foundation.

They were using the word Aiki back then.

And the title on my registration paper is "Daito-ryu Aiki-jujutsu registry".

This is what I signed.

At the top of the students' registry,

there are also the names of people such as the Admiral Takeshita Isamu.

How was Ueshiba Sensei's art called before that?

Before it became Aikido, it used to be called "Aikibudo".

"Aikibudo"

As for us, when I started, we would always call it "Aiki" instead of "Aikibudo".

Not "Aikido".

I think it was before the war ended, probably before 1945, that it was called "Aikibudo".

You entered soon after O Sensei's move to Iwama, at a time when Aikido underwent a deep change...

Well, I think the end to the war brought some changes.

Different things… I didn't really know because I was a child,

but when O Sensei came here, he wasn't really well.

He was sick.

Until then, as you can see here, he had been wearing only a mustache,

but when he came here, he started growing his beard.

When I joined in 1949, his beard was already like this.

The shrine was built in 1943,

and before that, he would come here from time to time.

And then there was the end of war, as well as the Omoto incident.

O sensei was not affected though.

What was Kisshomaru Sensei's part in all those changes?

Well, for example,

I can't really compare O Sensei with Kisshomaru Sensei,

but O Sensei wasn't really interested in a setting up an organization.

I think that's understandable because the Founder created a path where there had been none.

But when the foundation was created to a certain level, Kisshomaru Sensei started focusing on making it into an organization.

I think that if the Second Doshu, Kisshomaru Sensei, had acted the same way as the Fouder,

there would be no Aikido as we know it today.

The Aikikai organization.

So that way, I think Kisshomaru Sensei made a huge contribution to the Aikido community.

So when they published the first book,

they tried not to use words like kyo or kajo, that people who knew nothing about Aikido would not understand.

They used simple words that everyone would understand.

What is the place of the Ibaraki Dojo in today's Aikido?

That's a difficult question, extremely difficult to answer.

Now, Doshu comes gives classes once a week,

and Waka-Sensei also comes to teach on Wednesdays.

Doshu is supposed to come every week to teach the Saturday class, but he is busy.

I think he still does once or twice a month though.

So the Hombu Dojo and this Dojo are on the verge of becoming one,

but our practices are a bit different, and some people get confused.

That said, it's been going well so far,

and if our instructors and the instructors at the Hombu can exchange more,

understand each other's practice, and talk frankly,

this would go in the good direction

YOUTUBE ITSELF HAS DECIDED TO

ESSENTIALLY GET RID OF PEWDIEPIE AS A GOOGLE PREFERRED PARTNER AND

ALSO DID AWAY WITH HIS YOUTUBE RED PROGRAM.

IT WAS AN ADDITIONAL WAY FOR HIM TO GAIN REVENUE THROUGH YOUTUBE.

WHY?

WHY WOULD THEY SEVER TIES WITH THE MOST POPULAR YOUTUBER?

THERE HAVE BEEN ACCUSATIONS AGAINST HIM AND SOME OF HIS VIDEOS

INDICATING THAT THOSE VIDEOS HAD ANTI-SEMITIC MESSAGES AND

IMAGERY.

TO GIVE YOU SOME MORE DETAILS ON THAT, LET ME READ TO YOU

FROM THE WALL STREET JOURNAL: THEY REPORTED THAT SINCE AUGUST,

PEWDIEPIE HAS POSTED NINE VIDEOS THAT INCLUDE ANTI-SEMITIC JOKES

OR NOT THE IMAGERY ACCORDING TO A REVIEW THAT THEY DID.

PEWDIEPIEíS ACCOUNT ALSO TOOK DOWN 3 VIDEOS WITH A TOTAL

OF ABOUT 23 MILLION VIEWS.

IN THE JANUARY 22 VIDEO, PEWDIEPIE SHOWED A MAN DRESSED AS

JESUS CHRIST SAYING, HITLER DID ABSOLUTELY NOTHING WRONG.

I THINK THE STRAW THAT BROKE THE CAMELS BACK WAS A RECENT VIDEO

WHERE HE USED THIS APP CALLED FIVER WHERE YOU PAY

PEOPLE FIVE DOLLARS OR SMALL AMOUNT OF MONEY TO DO ANYTHING.

HE HIRED TWO INDIAN MEN TO HOLD A SIGN THAT READ DEATH TO

ALL JEWS.

AT THAT POINT, DISNEY WAS LIKE, WE ARE DONE.

OF THE ACTORS SUSPENSION, PEWDIEPIE SAID IN A LATER VIDEO,

THIS IS IN REGARD TO THE JESUS VIDEO, ISN'T IT IRONIC THAT

VIDEOS DOWN, BUT HE IS DENYING THAT HE HAS ANY

ANTI-SEMATIC INTENTIONS AND DOING THESE VIDEOS.

THIS IS A COMPLICATED ISSUE.

FIRST OF ALL, THAT IS A LOT OF MONEY HE JUST LOST AND SO

THE PENALTY IS VERY SEVERE.
