Youtube daily Feb 16 2017

Kellyanne Conway has told us this week that she is going to back off of her media appearances.

Now, the irony of that statement coming from Kellyanne Conway is the fact that more and

more media outlets, more and more cable news shows are saying that they do not want her.

In fact, her statement saying that she wasn't going to do as many media appearances came

after Mika Brzezinski said that Kellyanne Conway was no longer welcome on MSNBC's Morning

Joe television show.

CNN had previously said they were going to reduce Kellyanne Conway's appearances if they

even ask her at all because she has a real problem with telling the truth.

That's what Mika Brzezinski said on MSNBC and a lot of other outlets are starting to

wake up to the fact that Kellyanne Conway simply cannot be trusted to tell the truth.

Sure, I'm positive it's good for ratings because everybody wants to tune in and see what kind

of crazy thing Kellyanne Conway is going to say today.

But, at the end of the day, it is the job of the media to inform the public, to keep

us aware of what is going on in the world.

I think media outlets are finally at least a little bit starting to wake up to the fact

that you cannot rely on Kellyanne Conway to give you anything substantial in an interview.

She spews out these lies, these alternative facts as she calls them.

She defends people and clearly she's not even in the loop with what's actually happening

in the White House when she defended Michael Flynn just a few hours before he was forced

to resign in disgrace.

So, nobody wants Kellyanne Conway.

But, similar to how Donald Trump would handle it, according to Kellyanne Conway, it's because

she just doesn't want to do as much media.

She wants to focus more on her job within the Trump administration, maybe start paying

attention to what's actually going on inside that train wreck of a Trump administration,

so she's not going to spend as much time talking to the media.

I think that on behalf of all media outlets across this country, we're glad.

We don't want to see you on television anymore.

We don't want to have to keep reporting on the crazy things that you say.

We don't want to have to pay attention to you, so if you want to say that you're voluntarily

taking yourself off TV, go ahead and say it.

It doesn't matter to us because we're not going to miss you, not even a little bit.

Glenn Greenwald on Flynn-Russia Leaks: Highly Illegal & Wholly Justified - Duration: 7:22.

NERMEEN SHAIKH: We turn now to look at the growing scandal over the Trump administration's

alleged dealings with Russia before and after the November election.

There have been a number of developments in the past 24 hours.

The Wall Street Journal is reporting U.S. intelligence officials are withholding sensitive

intelligence from President Trump because they're concerned it could be leaked or

compromised.

The New York Times is reporting Trump is considering ordering a review of the nation's intelligence

agencies led by Stephen Feinberg, a billionaire private equity executive who is close to Stephen

Bannon and Jared Kushner.

Meanwhile, Trump has publicly defended Michael Flynn, who resigned Monday as national security

adviser after admitting he gave Vice President Mike Pence and others incomplete information

about his calls with the Russian ambassador in December.

Trump spoke about Flynn during his press conference with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu.

PRESIDENT DONALD TRUMP: Michael Flynn, General Flynn, is a wonderful man.

I think he's been treated very, very unfairly by the media—as I call it, the fake media,

in many cases.

And I think it's really a sad thing that he was treated so badly.

I think, in addition to that, from intelligence, papers are being leaked.

Things are being leaked.

It's criminal action.

Criminal act.

And it's been going on for a long time, before me.

But now it's really going on.

And people are trying to cover up for a terrible loss that the Democrats had under Hillary

Clinton.

I think it's very, very unfair what's happened to General Flynn, the way he was

treated and the documents and papers that were illegally—I stress that—illegally

leaked.

Very, very unfair.

AMY GOODMAN: Trump's comments came just a day after White House Press Secretary Sean

Spicer said Trump had lost faith in General Flynn.

PRESS SECRETARY SEAN SPICER: This was an act of trust.

Whether or not he actually misled the vice president was the issue.

And that was ultimately what led to the president asking for and accepting the resignation of

General Flynn.

That's it, pure and simple.

It was a matter of trust.

NERMEEN SHAIKH: While congressional Democrats and some Republicans are pushing for probes

into Trump's ties to Russia, Trump has focused largely on going after those who have leaked

information to the press.

In a tweet this morning, Trump wrote, quote, "The spotlight has finally been put on the

low-life leakers!

They will be caught!"

On Wednesday, Trump indirectly accused the NSA and FBI of being behind the leaks.

He wrote":https://twitter.com/realDonaldTrump/status/831840306161123328, quote, "Information is being illegally given

to the failing @nytimes & @washingtonpost by the intelligence community (NSA and FBI?).Just

like Russia."

AMY GOODMAN: Some supporters of Trump, including Breitbart News, have accused the intelligence

agencies of attempting to wage a "deep state coup" against the president.

Meanwhile, some critics of Trump are openly embracing such activity.

Bill Kristol, the prominent Republican analyst who founded The Weekly Standard, wrote on

Twitter, "Obviously strongly prefer normal democratic and constitutional politics.

But if it comes to it, prefer the deep state to the Trump state," unquote.

To help make sense of what's happening, we're joined by the Pulitzer Prize-winning

journalist Glenn Greenwald, co-founder of The Intercept.

His most recent piece is headlined "The Leakers Who Exposed Gen. Flynn's Lie Committed Serious—and

Wholly Justified—Felonies."

Glenn, welcome to Democracy Now!

Explain what you mean.

GLENN GREENWALD: There's no question that whoever leaked the contents of General Flynn's

telephone calls with the Russian ambassador and other Russian diplomats committed what

the law regards as extremely serious crimes.

As we all know from the last eight years under President Obama, they—the U.S. government

treats it as a criminal act, a felony, to leak information that is deemed classified.

In the scheme of what is regarded as criminal in terms of leaks, the most serious or one

of the most serious bits of information that can be leaked is what's called signals intelligence,

or information gathered by the NSA or the CIA or other intelligence agencies in terms

of eavesdropping on foreign governments.

And that's exactly what got leaked, was information that the NSA and the CIA say that

they gathered as a result of targeting Russian officials with eavesdropping.

And along the course of that eavesdropping, they happened hear General Flynn's conversations

with those Russian officials.

That's what they claim.

It's possible they actually targeted General Flynn.

We don't know.

That's the claim.

And if that is true, what they're claiming, it means that the leaking of this information

is considered a very serious felony.

In fact, the law says that it's not just whoever leaks signals intelligence is guilty

of a felony, but anyone who publishes it, too.

So, theoretically, it makes the journalists at The New York Times, The Washington Post,

NBC News, all of whom have leaked signals intelligence, guilty of felonies.

My view is that the First Amendment's freedom of the press clause would bar any such prosecutions,

but at least under the statute it is a crime.

So then the question becomes: Well, if it's criminal, is it justified?

And my view is the same view that I had for the eight years under President Obama and

for the years before that under President Bush, which is that people inside the government

who leak classified information that the public has a right to know, even if they're breaking

the law, are acting commendably and justifiably and heroically, and that those people ought

to be celebrated and treated as people defending democracy and transparency, and not be treated

as criminals.

Unfortunately, over the last eight years, Democrats have had a completely different

view of people who leak classified information.

And the tweet that you just read from President Trump, saying whoever leaked this information

are low-life leakers who deserve to be punished, that sounds very, very, very similar to everything

I've heard from most Democrats over the last eight years as they called for the imprisonment

of Chelsea Manning and Thomas Drake and Edward Snowden and the long list of other whistleblowers

and leakers that President Obama so aggressively and vindictively prosecuted.

But, for me, my view has not changed, which is, when an official as senior as General

Flynn lies to the public, which is what he did—he denied publicly that he discussed

the issue of sanctions with the Russian ambassador in his December phone call—information that

shows that he lied is information that the public has the right to know.

And even though I think there are very grave dangers and grave concerns, that I hope we'll

discuss, in terms of what the deep state is doing in trying to destroy the Trump administration,

that was duly elected, in this particular case, whoever leaked this information helped

the public to understand and to learn exactly how General Flynn lied, and therefore, despite

being illegal, highly illegal, I actually think it's also wholly justified, as I wrote

in that piece.

Things To Do When You Have Depression - Duration: 7:43.

(marker scratching)

(electronic game chime)

Okay, so you know when you are a very

depressed individual and you're going through

that moment of the year when your depression

is just skyrocketing and you hate yourself

and everything for like two weeks straight?

That would be me.

A lot of depression, a lot of stress,

my brain has been completely clogged, blocked,

for a couple weeks now and,

nothing seemed to be working.

I feel like I'm a little bit better right now,

but not completely.

And it didn't help that the first time I tried

to film this video, it was completely out of focus,

which,

mmm.

But with that being said, I guess for this video,

I wanna talk about, five things I like to attempt

to do to try to attempt some relief.

Now, I'm not gonna say that this is gonna work 100%.

Because, there is no guarantee.

Some other stuff I actually tried to do,

already did, didn't really work.

But, I try, and I'm not gonna say that

you need to do these things because,

it just doesn't work.

You can't tell a depressed person to go outside

and expect that to fix.

That's a different video, but.

But I'm going to talk about this

to attempt to get my feelings out

about things, so let's go.

One.

Cleaning myself up a little bit.

I finally showered, after a couple of days.

Now this is mostly because I went to the gym

this morning, and thus I got dirtier and smellier,

so I needed to go take a shower, like an actual shower.

Not just freshen up a little bit

and then be done with it.

Like actually shower.

And I feel alright.

Except I'm under two lights right now

and it's going to make me sweat a lot.

So, hm.

Okay.

Such is YouTube life.

Welcome.

Now to kick it up a notch,

I could pamper myself.

I could actually fix my nails,

my nail polish, or do a face mask.

I have lots of sheet masks that I bought,

but I haven't actually used, because I'm lazy.

We'll see how that goes today.

I'm not quite sure.

But speaking of going to the gym this morning,

the gym helps sometimes.

Basically all of this is sometimes, but.

Cardio, does not work.

Like a lot of people like to run to

clear their minds.

For me, cardio does not work.

In fact, I actually hate cardio more.

Like I either just walk on a treadmill because

I cannot run on the treadmill.

It makes my leg very, very itchy.

So, no thank you.

And the elliptical I cannot stand.

So, it just, cardio, just makes me hate it more.

But I like to work on the strength machines.

Because then I feel like I'm getting stronger

and I feel strong.

Like I'm getting some muscles.

Right now I barely have any muscles.

I can lift a lot of heavier things now,

but I, but they're not showin, so, okay.

I don't know, it makes me feel like I can get stronger,

and then I could be Buffy or something and like

punch bad guys, I don't know.

Anything to make you feel better, right?

So that was number two.

And now we're gonna move on to number three.

Which is yell at things, slash, people.

And I don't mean like actually go up to a person

and yell at them, scream at their face.

Don't do that.

Don't scream into their faces, that's wrong.

But, it's a perfect time for me to go into my car,

drive anywhere.

Mostly on an interstate, because that's the perfect

time, perfect place to have road rage.

I have a lot of anger management issues, I really do.

So, this is helpful, to get my feelings out.

(laughing) To just yell at things.

Like when Susan in front of me is going

45 on the left side of the interstate, which is

what you're not suppose to do.

Get out of the left lane if you're gonna be slow.

So I just like to yell at them.

I try to be as inconspicuous as possible

when doing this.

I don't think most people really pay attention anyways.

But, you know, I just like, like to yell at them.

If you have terrible driving skills,

or really no skills at all,

I'm just gonna like, yell.

Or I might just yell a bunch of obscenities, regardless.

Like it's just the perfect time to like just scream,

your lungs out.

Just to get that out of your body.

You know in those coming- of-age movies or whatever,

where you go up to the top of the hill

and then you just shout?

That's me, but in my car.

Cause I don't wanna go up a hill, ever.

And as far as things go,

you know, just, if you, if I

smash my toe into something, which I do quite

often now for some reason.

Yell at it, bang my head against something,

hand, or sometimes head.

Yell at it.

Like this wall, right here.

Actually it's a door, but okay.

Yell at it.

Four.

Watch horror films or crime shows, on television,

or crime movies, I guess.

Because knowing the victim's fate,

always makes me feel better.

That is a terrible thing to say,

but it does.

It makes me feel a little bit better,

to know that these fictional characters have it worse,

than me.

I feel bad for 'em, but the evil part of me likes it.

Because I'm trying to feel better, so, you know, okay.

So I'm sorry Jessica, but if,

an axe murderer,

an axe mass,

masked murderer

is coming after you and you run up the stairs

instead of somewhere else that is not up the stairs,

where there is no exit.

I'm gonna laugh.

I've done that for years, and I'm still gonna do it today.

Just like when I watched CSI Miami.

Well, I'm glad I'm not that person, you know,

with their head, chopped off next to a pool

wearing pearls and fancy dresses.

I don't know, I'm just making up a scene.

Yeah, I'm terrible.

I'm a terrible person.

Yeah.

But I feel better.

Now on the opposite side of that,

watching cute things.

Number five.

Is it number five?

I think it's number five.

I don't remember my numbers anymore.

So, cute, happy things when you're kind of over

the horror mood or if you're not even

in a horror mood at all.

Sometimes I'm not in a horror mood,

I just want to watch happiness.

So, stuff like Pokémon, Sailor Moon.

Stuff that reminds me of the only good

part of my childhood.

You know Pikachu was adorable, Eevee is adorable.

Sailor Moon, Usagi is all about the positivity

and love and you know stuff, friendship.

And it's just so nice to watch.

In fact, I kinda wanna watch the R movie.

If I can find that somewhere, I wanna watch the movie.

I wanna catch up on the movies again.

Maybe.

Yeah.

Or Asian dramas.

Like, Taiwanese rom-com dramas.

Those are my favorite to watch when I want something

happier,

or funny.

Japanese dramas, I like,

but I typically go for more the thriller stuff

when it comes to watching Japanese dramas,

which is the opposite of happy and cute, so.

I think that's pretty much it.

There's some small stuff, like eating my favorite food,

or my favorite coffee, which I did do today,

this morning.

I went to Starbucks, got a Venti Doubleshot on ice

with coconut milk.

And it was good, it was great.

I loved it.

I'm surprised they still have it.

But I'm happy about that,

because it made me happy to drink it.

And I made vegan mac and cheese by myself,

which was great.

It actually tasted really good.

Better than I expected.

And today, I'm likely gonna have a burrito bowl.

That's actually all I have for food,

is burrito bowl stuff, so.

It's like my favorite thing in the world anyway.

So if you have things that you like to do

to attempt to perk yourself up a little bit,

it doesn't cure everything, obviously,

I know from experience, obviously,

it doesn't cure things.

But at least like, if this is our mood now,

at least it goes up like this a little bit, maybe.

Five minutes of happiness, you know.

So if you got any of that stuff,

leave them down in the comments.

If you wanna follow me on all of my social media,

links to that will be down below.

If you want to help my content via Patreon or ko-fi

links to both of those will be down below as well.

I upload every Monday and Thursday

unless otherwise stated.

And I will see you later. Bye.

FLAVORS ARE WHY E-CIGARETTES

HAVE GROWN IN POPULARITY.

>> I FEEL LIKE I SEE A WHOLE

BUNCH OF PEOPLE VAPING ON THE

STREETS.

IT'S LIKE, EVERYWHERE I GO.

>> WELL THAT'S ONE OF THE ISSUES

AND PROBLEMS BECAUSE NOW IT'S

GETTING INTO YOUNGER AND YOUNGER

POPULATIONS.

IT'S BECOMING MORE EN VOGUE TO

USE THE VAPING DEVICES SO YOU

SEE HIGH SCHOOL KIDS REALLY

RISING.

SANIKA: ACCORDING TO THE CENTERS

FOR DISEASE CONTROL AND

PREVENTION, AROUND THREE MILLION

MIDDLE AND HIGH SCHOOL KIDS AR

USING E-CIGARETTES.

IT'S NOW THE MOST POPULAR WAY

FOR TEENS TO INHALE NICOTINE.

AND IT'S TROUBLING CONSIDERING

THE CDC ESTIMATES 80% OF ADULT

SMOKERS STARTED BEFORE THE AGE

OF 1

A NEWLY RELEASED STUDY ALSO

DETAILS A NEW FORM OF VAPING CA

LLED DRIPPING.

IT CREATES EVEN MORE VAPOR.

YOU SMOKE IT UNTIL IT DRIES

OUT.

SANIKA: BECAUSE THIS METHOD IS

RELATIVELY NEW, THEY ARE --

IT CAN BE 10 TIMES MORE DAMAGING

THAN TRADITIONAL CIGARETTES.

PEOPLE THINK OF NEW CREATIVE

WAYS TO DELIVER THESE THINGS.

I HAVE NOT SEEN ANYONE IN THE

HOSPITAL BUT I WILL ANTICIPATE

IT.

SANIKA: ON THE OTHER HAND, FOR

THOSE TRYING TO QUIT, ALMOST

EVERYONE WE SPOKE TO SAY THESE

DEVICES HAVE HELPED THEM.

>> I WENT FROM SMOKING A PACK

AND A HALF A DAY TO SMOKING

FOUR, MAYBE FIVE CIGARETTES A

DAY, MAX.

>> I BOUGHT THIS FROM MY FRIEND.

I QUIT SMOKING CIGARETTES ABOUT

A WEEK AFTER GETTING IT.

SANIKA: THIS IS HOW IT WORKS,

AFTER SWITCHING TO THE

E-CIGARETTE CUSTOMERS ARE ABLE

TO CHOOSE A LOWER NICOTINE

PERCENTAGE EACH TIME THEY BU

THE LIQUID FOUND IN AN

E-CIGARETTE, COMMONLY REFERRED

TO AS JUICE, UNTIL, IDEALLY, THE

NICOTINE CONTENT DROPS TO ZERO.

I DIDN'T THINK IT WAS GOING

TO BE AN EASY TRANSITION FROM

SMOKING AND I THINK VAPING IS SO

MUCH EASIER THAN I THOUGHT IT

WAS GOING TO B

SANIKA: BUT NOW NICOTINE MAY NOT

BE THE ONLY PROBLEM.

WHEN YOU BUY THE JUICE, WHAT ARE

YOU REALLY BUYING?

>> THERE'S NO REGULATION ON THAT

END OF THINGS.

SANIKA: PAUL STRAND MANUFACTURES

AND SELLS HIS PRODUCT IN PALM

BEACH GARDENS.

HIS CLIENTELE IS MADE UP OF THE

OLDER GENERATION, TRYING TO CUT

BACK ON THEIR NICOTINE ADDICTION

BY SWITCHING TO WHAT HAS BEEN

CALLED THE SAFER ALTERNATIVE.

THE INGREDIENTS STRAND USES ARE

ALL FROM THE U.S., THE HIGHEST

GRADE VEGETABLE GLYCERIN AND

PROPYLENE GLYCOL, NORTH

CAROLINA-GROWN TOBACCO, U.S.

EXTRACTED NICOTINE, AND

FLAVORING APPROVED BY THE FDA.

NO CHEMICAL ENHANCERS OR

ALCOHOL.

BUT DEPENDING ON THE PRODUCT YOU

BUY, THAT'S NOT ALWAYS THE CASE.

>> SOMEONE USING PRODUCTS FROM

OVERSEAS, CHINESE BASED

PROPYLENE GLYCOL, THEY TEND TO

HAVE VERY HIGH HEAVY METALS AN

THINGS LIKE THAT IN THEN THAT I

WOULDN'T VAPE PERSONALLY,

MYSELF.

SANIKA: TO ADD TO THE CONFUSION,

STRAND SAYS COMPANIES BOASTING

PRODUCED IN THE USA COULD BE

IMPORTING THEIR INGREDIENTS FROM

OVERSEAS AND SIMPLY MIXING THEIR

PRODUCT IN THE STATE

FOR A TRULY AMERICAN-GROWN

PRODUCT, LOOK FOR LABELS THAT

BOAST PRODUCED AND SOURCED IN

THE USA.

IN AUGUST OF 2016, THE FDA

STARTED TO CRACK DOWN ON ENDS,

OR ELECTRONIC NICOTINE DELIVERY

SYSTEMS.

>> THEY TAKE YOUR PRODUCT AND DO

A FULL CHEMICAL ANALYSIS AND

MAKE SURE YOUR PRODUCT H

EXACTLY WHAT IT SAYS.

SANIKA: STRAND SAYS HE DID THE

MATH, THE REGISTRATION AND FDA

FEES AVERAGE OUT TO ABOUT

$150,000 PER BAR-CODED PRODUCT.

>> UNDER THE NEW REGULATIONS AS

THEY ARE, I WOULD NOT BE ABLE TO

MANUFACTURE MY OWN PRODUCT

I WOULD NOT BE ABLE TO AFFORD

THE COSTS INVOLVED IN DOING SO.

SANIKA: WE'LL BE SEEING THOSE

REGULATIONS CONTINUE TO ROLL OUT

Church. Forest on the Hill - Duration: 1:37.

Hello, friends!

It`s me Larisa Levinskaya.

And now I'm on a trip

to a small village

in Moldova again.

Today is a cold windy day

in mid-winter.

This is a small village

located south of the town of Bendery.

And this village called Ursoaya.

In the English language translates as Bear.

There is a very interesting nature.

But I want to show you

the Christian church.

This is an old church,

and I think this is a really beautiful church!

Have a nice day!

See you soon!

Bye! Bye!

There is the Church of the Holy Virgin

in the village of Ursoaya.

This is the former Turkish mosque.

As for the Bucharest peace treaty in 1812,

the land of Bessarabia

were annexed to Russia,

the former Turkish mosque

was converted into a Christian church.

There`s a wonderful nature

of the village.

The main road into the center

of the village

with a steep descent to the valley.

A top of the hill

you can see the forest.
