Youtube daily Feb 2 2017

Earlier this week the University of California, Berkeley, was forced to cancel an appearance

by right-winged Breitbart hate monger, Milo Yiannopoulos.

Apologies if I'm pronouncing your name wrong.

Honest to god, I don't care.

Anyway, Milo went there to give a speech sponsored by the college Republicans at UC Berkeley.

Unfortunately, after thousands of people showed up to protest Milo's involvement, the speech

had to be canceled.

He was escorted off property.

Police officers had to come out and announce that the event was canceled.

In short, the students at UC Berkeley did not want a Breitbart spokesperson, somebody

who has ties to white nationalists, somebody to defends white nationalists, and somebody

who's actually been banned from Twitter for their erratic, and irresponsible, and dangerous

behavior, they didn't want that person speaking at their campus to the minds of all of these

young students.

They stood up, exercised their First Amendment freedoms, and got him kicked off the campus.

In response, Donald Trump tweets out the following morning that maybe he should pull federal

funding from UC Berkeley if they're not going to allow differing opinions, if they're going

to trample on the First Amendment.

Now, here's what Donald Trump, who is not a constitutional scholar, he is not a constitutional

lawyer, probably a guy that can't even spell constitution, here's what he doesn't understand

about the First Amendment; the protestors, the people who got this speech canceled, that

was the First Amendment in action.

As far as Milo's speech being canceled, that really was just a business decision.

The Republicans, the college Republicans, they are the ones who paid for this, it turns

out that, because of all the protestors, they realized probably not going to make their

money back.

Because Milo was maybe scared, he went along with it.

The college has full discretion over what gets canceled, what goes on.

Happens all the time.

Colleges book comedians.

Sometimes the comedian will say something that's less than savory, they get canceled.

Bill Maher got canceled for his statements on Islam.

Where were you there, Donald Trump?

Probably right there with him.

You see, just because you have a hateful belief, or horrible things to say, doesn't mean that

you get to say it.

That's not what freedom of speech is all about, Donald Trump.

Hate speech is not okay.

If a federally funded institution in the United States says, "We're not going to give a platform

to somebody to spew their hate speech," you can't fight that.

It incites violence.

It incites hatred.

There's a very, very, strong precedent for getting rid of this kind of speech in the

United States.

It is not further discussion.

It does not further knowledge.

It does nothing but incite hatred and violence, and therefore is not protected speech.

That's something that you need to understand, Donal Trump, if you're going to be a defender

of the Constitution.

Instead, you decide to go on Twitter and threaten this university that's been around a hell

of a lot longer than you, it's going to be around a hell of a lot longer than you will

be, and you threaten to pull their federal funding just because the students at that

university had the courage to stand up to this hate peddler from Breitbart and say,

"Not today."

That is what America is all about.

Wrangler RedRock 4x4 Pinnacle Oval Side Step w/ Bent Ends (2007-2017 JK 4 Door) Review & Install - Duration: 4:40.

I'm Ryan from extremeterrain.com, and this is my review and installation of the RedRock

4x4 Pinnacle Side Step with bent ends, fitting all 2007 to 2017 JKs.

These are available for both the two-door and the four-door JK.

Today we are gonna talk about the construction and the installation of these side steps.

These side steps are for those of you who wanna make it easier to get in and out of

your lifted or even stock height JK.

These have a really large wide stepping pad even bigger than a lot of the other oval or

round side steps on the market.

So, these are really all about function.

They also, because of their oval shape, do have a little bit of a different look, so,

if this is something you're after, I think they are definitely worth it.

They're priced aggressively and as far as the step goes, they're definitely functional.

These are a steel step that are covered in a black powder coat finish and they have these

really large plastic non-slip stepping pads.

These are so that if you are in the mud or the rain or snow, you're gonna be able to

step on this and not slide around, making it a lot easier to get in and out of your

Jeep.

Now, as I mentioned before, these are an oval step so, they have a bit of a lower profile

than some of the round steps on the market, and the bent ends just finish them off a little

bit and give a really nice to look to your Jeep especially from the profile view.

Now, a side step like this is not going to be armored.

In fact, this is going to decrease your ground clearance and it's definitely not going to

hold up to being banged off of trail obstacles.

So, if you are somebody who goes off-roading a lot and needs something that's gonna hold

up, or at least doesn't want something that's going to get damaged when they're on the trail,

I would not recommend taking a look at this.

RedRock 4x4 does make armor as well as Barricade, Smittybilt, Rugged Ridge and a host of other

brands.

A lot of that armor also has a step built into it, so you get best of both worlds.

However, armor even with a step built into it, is going to be a lot more expensive than

these side steps.

And the step that you get that's built into armor, usually isn't as user-friendly as this

one is.

The step is often an afterthought to the protection offered by the armor.

So, a step like this is going to be less expensive and far more functional as a step, however,

it's not great for off-roading.

If you are somebody who spends most of your time on road, this is gonna be a great option

and it will protect you against some door dings.

As far as installation, this install is in much the same way as a lot of the other side

steps on the market from a lot of different brands.

There are brackets included that will attach to both the pinch seam and the underside of

the tub.

Once you get those brackets installed, you can go ahead and screw the step bar onto your

newly installed brackets and you're finished.

Now, Jeep did change the tub design a little bit.

Some of you will have an open hole in the bottom of the tub, and others will have a

threaded hole.

Those of you with an open hole will use the included nut plate, and those of you with

a threaded hole won't need those.

So, at the end of this installation, you may have a couple of parts left over, but don't

worry about it.

Just follow the instructions carefully and this is an easy install for anyone who has

basic hand tools and about an hour of time.

I would recommend if you are one of those people that has threaded holes in the bottom

of your Jeep, and you either live in an environment where you get a lot of rust, or you take your

Jeep off road a lot, to have a tap handy that you can run up into that threaded hole in

the bottom of the Jeep, just to make sure it's nice and clean before you put one of

those new bolts in there and have a chance of cross threading it.

I think that these are priced really appropriately for what they are.

I've mentioned a couple times there are a lot of brands that make side steps, these

ones are a little bit more unique because they have an even wider and larger stepping

surface, they have a flatter oval look to them with the bent ends.

It's just a little bit of a different flavor onto a side step that's available from a lot

of different manufacturers.

And this side step is priced right around where the others ones are.

It can be very functional, it looks good, installs easy.

All in all, I'd say it's worth the price.

So, if you're looking for a side step to help you get in and out of your lifted or even

stock height JK and you're not after armor that's going to be that heavy duty protection

for your rockers, I would definitely recommend taking a look at this step.

There may be a lot of other options out there, but this does have a little bit of a twist

as far as the aesthetics and it's very functional especially for the price.

So, that's my review of the RedRock 4x4 Pinnacle Oval Side Step with bent ends, fitting all

2007 to 2017 JKs, that you can find right here at extremeterrain.com.

Susan Feniger Judges Round 3 | Season 16 Ep. 16 | HELL'S KITCHEN - Duration: 0:59.

- Round three.

NARRATOR: It's now time for the beef entree, which will be

judged by chef Susan Feniger, owner of Border

Grill and Mudhed Tavern.

Good to see you.

Thank you.

NARRATOR: Heather presents a dry-aged ribeye

with Collard greens and sweet potato goat cheese au gratin.

Like on the ribeye, maybe the back could have

been seared a little bit more.

But gorgeous presentation.

I think it works really well.

NARRATOR: While Ryan puts up a fillet with morels,

kale, and curried cauliflower puree.

The kale is cooked really perfectly.

And the meat is cooked perfectly.

The garlic, for me, might be a tiny bit strong.

But these are both very interesting dishes.

Chef, the moment of truth.

Two very good dishes.

The ribeye, Heather, or Ryan's filet?

For me, the dish that works better is Heather's.

Heather's.

Yes!

Torisuki (Chicken Sukiyaki Recipe) | Cooking with Dog - Duration: 4:05.

This is the last video shot when Francis was alive.

Hi, I'm Francis, the host of this show "Cooking with Dog."

Today, we are making Sukiyaki with chicken.

Beef is usually used in sukiyaki but chicken is also delicious.

Francis, let's get started.

First, let's parboil the chicken.

Slice the chicken thighs into bite-size pieces cutting at an angle.

Make sure that each piece has about the same thickness.

Place the chicken into a pot of boiling water.

Lightly cook the chicken until the surface turns white.

Remove and place it onto a tray.

This will help to remove any unwanted taste and smell,

making the chicken more delicious.

Now, let's make the sukiyaki sauce also known as warishita.

Combine the soy sauce, sugar,

sake

and water.

Add the dashi kombu seaweed.

If the kombu is not available, simply leave it out.

Turn on the burner.

Stir to mix.

When the sugar dissolves, remove the pot.

Let it sit to cool and then remove the kombu seaweed.

Next, let's prepare the ingredients.

Slice the long green onion using diagonal cuts.

As for the shungiku, use the soft upper half of the stalk

and the bottom part of the leaves.

Here are the rest of the ingredients,

enoki and shimeji mushrooms, grilled firm tofu

and lightly parboiled shirataki noodles cut into shorter lengths.

And now, let's make the Torisuki.

Pour the sukiyaki sauce into a shallow pot.

Turn on the burner and bring it to a boil.

Add the shirataki noodles,

grilled firm tofu cut into 1.5cm (0.6") slices

and long green onion.

Add the enoki mushrooms

and shimeji mushrooms.

Place the chicken into the pot.

Flip the ingredients over and allow them to absorb the broth.

The chicken easily becomes tough so avoid overcooking it.

When the chicken is cooked, add the shungiku leaves.

Lightly cook the shungiku in the broth

and now the Torisuki is ready.

Using a raw egg is an essential part of

enjoying sukiyaki here in Japan.

When you are not sure if your raw eggs can be eaten raw,

consider using pasteurized eggs.

Dip the ingredients into the egg and enjoy the delectable Torisuki.

Delicious!

You may also add udon noodles to the remaining broth

and enjoy the last drop of delicious sauce.

Good luck in the kitchen.

We've received so many warm messages after Francis passed away and would like to thank all the viewers once again. Francis was an invaluable figure and we just don't feel right to continue the show by replacing him with another dog. We will not be able to make new videos as before but hope we can still introduce occasional recipes. Thank you so much for your support.

31 Days of Yoga with Adriene! - Duration: 5:07.

Hello my friends! Kaitlyn here! And let's do some yoga!

Um, when did this become a fitness channel?

(INTRO MUSIC)

Okay! So we're not actually gonna be doing yoga on the channel today,

BUT I have been doing a lot of yoga recently and I wanted to talk about it's awesomeness!

So I've been a fan of yoga since college when I first tried it and found I loved it

because it combined two of things I valued and needed--flexibility and breathing exercises.

Now there's a whole lot more to yoga than flexibility and breathing exercises but that

is where I started for me.

But once out of college, I was pretty apprehensive about taking public classes because

First I didn't have any money because I hadn't found a job yet and then when I did

find a job, the classes were offered at really inconvenient times

and I'd have to travel at least 30 minutes to get to the closest studio...so it was just a bust.

BUT THEN!

In January of 2015, I stumbled across on the Internet Yoga with Adriene's 30 Day Yoga challenge.

Pretty self-explanatory: guided yoga videos on Youtube.

A new one uploaded everyday in January.

And I thought. What the heck? It's free. I can do it in my bedroom. Why not?

And so began my love affair with yoga and Adriene's presentation of it.

As of this past Tuesday, I've completed my 3rd 30 day Yoga "Challenge" with Adriene, and I'm feeling awesome.

Especially awesome because this is the first year that I actually did yoga every day.

In the past, I would skip a day here or there when I was feeling sore or sick or just too busy.

Essentially, it made a month long challenge take like 2 months. Ah!

But this time, I was like: What will happen if I just stick with it.

Even if that means doing yoga at 11 pm or when I'm super sore or just feeling awful.

And yes, it did make for days where I did not enjoy the yoga.

But it has absolutely made me stronger.

So here's what I love about Adriene's program and channel in general.

(And why I would recommend you check it out, do some yoga videos and maybe even try a 30 day challenge!)

First, it's an "exercise" program that'smore about being in tune with your body than "getting ripped."

Now that's not to say it's not challenging or unable to get you in shape because

I was sweating and shaking doing these videos!

It's because of the 2nd thing I love about this channel which is that Adriene emphasizes a mindfulness for

your body and your mind which is something that I unfortunately had not experienced in other yoga classes.

It's not about slamming into different poses and trying to fit the "mold"

but rather about seeing where your body's at and listening to it and seeing what it's telling you.

I didn't really listen to my body until watching her videos.

I would just get angry at myself for not being able to do what I thought my body should do.

I have really horrific memories of high school where I was tryingto learn choreography for show choir

and I would practice in my room and fail and so I would hit and smack, like violently my legs and my

arms and try to punish my body to kick it into gear because it wasn't doing what I wanted.

But that's not how that works. And that is not healthy.

Adriene's motto is "Find What Feels Good" which I thought was kind of corny at the very beginning

but, man! When you finally learn how to listen to your body, you realize how important that is and what it means.

I want exercising -- being physical -- to feel good!

And it absolutely can!

Third, I find such a sense of peace.

Adriene is very positive but in a realistic way.

"Everything is as it should be."

She not only has us focus on working the physical body but also the emotional, spiritual one.

She asks you to get kind of raw, kind of silly, kind of open.

Which I think works really well when you're doing it from the comfort and safety of your home.

And I've definitely left some of these workouts feeling completely zen or just with chills.

As someone with pretty overwhelming anxiety, this is a very rare and great occurrence for me.

Now, I know there are probably classes that have more of this mindset than I've previously experienced.

And now that I'm living in a new, bigger city, I need to go out there and find it!

But I love Adriene and her channel for the positivity, the light, the self-love that she's projecting into the world.

All of this is to say, you should go try some yoga. Whether you you want to lose weight

Or be more flexible. Or you suffer from anxiety like me!

You can try Adrienne's channel or one of the many other yoga channels that are out there on YouTube.

Or you could even try a real, live, in-person class! I don't care how you do it!

But I know that it was beneficial for me so I think it might be beneficial for you too.

So what do you guys think?

Do love yoga or watch Adriene?

Do you think yoga's only for girls.... (cuz it's not!)

Tell me all your yoga-related thoughts down in the comments!

Plus remember to like, favorite, share, and subscribe if this video made you smile!

See you guys on Tuesday!

It's Time To Get A Watch | Giveaway! - Duration: 7:36.

(marker scratching)

(electronic game chime)

So if you want to get a watch similar to this,

but of your choice with free credit and free shipping,

stay tuned for the rest of the video.

Hello!

So I have a bit of a story time video for you

and not in the terms of,

"My Uber driver took a wrong turn,

therefore I'm being kidnapped."

kinda story time.

I mean like an actual,

just like we were sitting around a campfire

and I am your grandpa or I guess grandma

and then I tell you a story about

how the way things were 30 years ago.

So you know every single time when if you ask your dad,

normally it's always when it's your dad or your grandpa

or really any other male authority figure in your life.

So you know when you always ask 'em what time it is

because you're just, I dunno, walkin' around somewhere and

being like, "Hey dad, what time is it?"

and then you know what they say, "Time to get a watch."

Every time without fail,

and then maybe they'll actually tell you what time it is,

but for the most part it's always starting out with,

"Frankie, it's time to get a watch."

And you know what the problem with that is?

Never in my life have I been able to find the perfect watch,

except for a Pikachu watch,

but I cannot always use that for every single occasion

that happens in my life.

You know people always say that watches are dead now,

but I like to think that they're not.

Now this is funny coming from somebody who

doesn't really wear watches,

but I've always wanted to.

It was just hard finding a good watch

that I would always wear,

or that went with my style you know?

That's one of the hardest things.

Especially when you're not really sure

what your style is.

So I'm a public speaker, right,

and I've gotta keep track of the time, you know.

At VidCon, you have an hour.

Most of the time you have an hour,

and although you do have people in the back

that hold up signs that say,

"30 minutes left", "15 minutes left",

Sometimes you miss those people or if you're anywhere

at any other conference that won't have that

you wanna know what time it is, right?

And if you're the one actually doing a talk

and you need to know what time it is,

like you need to make sure you're right on time,

I just feel like it's not always appropriate to

pull out your big old iPhone and, you know.

Like, it just takes up so much time to go find your iPhone,

and then you gotta make sure it's in your hand,

and then click on it and all this other stuff,

and then you gotta go put it back down,

and you gotta make sure you do it nicely,

otherwise it's gonna fall off the table and then crack,

and then you're screwed out of another

however much it costs to get it replaced.

So I like the idea of watches because

you can just do this ever so casually,

and then put your arm back down.

It's like a natural movement if you're talking,

if you're using a mic or if you're just doing

this hand motion.

Oh look, I am just casually and gracefully

checking the time on my watch.

Am I weird?

I'm weird, I know.

Probably everybody watching this is like,

"Rikki, what the hell are you talking about?"

Now as a public speaker,

or someone trying to get more of these gigs and whatnot,

that comes with dressing a little more appropriately,

unless you're at VidCon, then nobody really cares.

But if you're going to a school, a college,

you wanna look a little bit more...

put together; you don't need to be the fanciest person.

You don't need to wear a tux, obviously,

but I like to wear some really nice jeans,

a nice top, always like a blazer, I'm a blazer fanatic,

and there's always something that I felt missing,

and that was a watch.

But I couldn't find the right watch and I can't really

bring the Pikachu watch.

I probably could and they probably wouldn't care as much,

but I would just probably feel silly.

Said the girl who wore a Pikachu necklace

on the red carpet at Buffer Festival.

But I feel like that's different.

That's just about me.

It's different.

But now I feel like I finally got a good watch that

just goes with everything and fits what I'm looking for,

and that is this watch by JORD Watches.

This particular one is from their Frankie series,

and it is the Zebrawood and Champagne one.

They have a lot of options for men, women, whatever

you identify as.

There's something for everyone and it's just very,

you know, clean looking.

So if you're having trouble with a clean-looking watch

that doesn't look too over the top or too "eh".

I just, I really like this.

If you look at the close up, you will see that

the wood is just so nice looking,

and it's not too dark but it's not too light,

which is what I personally like,

and this color combination works.

It's really big so you don't have to squint

unless you have really bad eyesight,

you don't wanna have to squint at it and be like,

"Okay, what does this say?"

It's easy to just quickly look at it and then put it down.

And it's comfortable.

They do have a measuring system,

so you measure your wrist and then they round it up

to the nearest fourth of an inch or something.

It's a little teensy bit tight sometimes,

but when you get the box it has another, like...

Thing that comes with it.

I haven't tested it out yet because I don't feel like

this is too much of a struggle to put on.

It's just really sleek and nice looking and I like it.

The only thing that kinda drives me bonkers,

and I think this is just because of me and my brain really,

is that I always have trouble putting it on.

When I filmed the close up I was constantly

struggling with putting it on,

and when I had my streaming,

my editing stream,

people saw how much I struggled with getting it on,

and it's this part right here.

You have a little clasp so it makes it very long right,

and I would just keep doing this and it was so difficult.

I couldn't figure out how to get it on.

I think with plenty of practice now,

ow.

Ow, it's piercing my skin.

That's the tightness problem I tend to have,

but finally...

Ow.

You clip it on and then you get stuck again.

I advertise well, I know.

But then, okay...

Voila.

We have it on.

Yay!

So it's really easy to take off and put on as long as

you can figure out which side goes first.

I tend to mix that up all the time.

I... Okay.

So with all that being said,

let's skip to the part that you're actually

really excited for.

The giveaway.

I know,

I'm a YouTube viewer too.

I like free things.

Come on, come on.

I know.

So the prize is store credit to JORD.

You will get $139.95

plus free shipping.

We love free shipping.

I know we do, right?

Now this watch retails for $189,

so you get a pretty good discount

if you wanted this particular one.

In fact I'm pretty sure the whole line is $189.

So you have a set price point,

per whatever...

line you're looking at.

So to get that store credit there's a link down below,

so you can go to that,

click on it,

enter your name,

your email,

whatever is on there and then send it off.

The giveaway will last for two weeks,

so you got two weeks to get up on that.

Once midnight hits,

the winner will be emailed as well as those who don't win,

so therefore if you accidentally forgot

when the giveaway ended, you will know that

whether or not you didn't win.

So if you didn't win,

which I apologize in advance,

there is still a coupon code for 15% off your purchase,

which is right here,

and the store still offers free shipping regardless,

so you win a little there,

a little bit if you find anything that you like.

So if you enter the giveaway,

good luck and I wanna see what kind of watch

that you choose.

If you wanna follow me on all of my social media links,

that will be down below.

If you wanna help support my content,

you can do so by pledging to be a patron on Patreon

or leaving a tip on ko-fi.

Both links to that will be down below.

I upload every Monday and Thursday unless otherwise stated,

and I will see you later.

Bye.

Skincare Routine: part 1 - Morning | Περιποίηση προσώπου Μέρος 1ο - Πρωί - Duration: 5:59.

Hey Friends!!!

A week ago I posted on facebook which video would you like to see first

Empties or Updated Skincare Routine

and most of you answered you wanted to see my winter skincare routine

so let's start

I follow the korean skincare routine, which means I do many steps

Don't be scared, I don't do all of this every day

What you'll see is something in between.. What I usually do.. I change it everyday lol

I add or remove steps according to what my skin needs

I basically do this 4 days per week.. The other 3 I remove some of them

So in this video, I will not show you how I do scrub or peeling

During my night skincare routine, i might skip cream and put sleeping mask instead

I do many different things

I will mention the steps I remove or add during this video

so let's begin (Already had a loooong intro haha)

my next step is serum

this serum is thicker compare to the one i'm using during my night skincare routine

I use this Lookx skin multitasker

I use the tiniest amount

and I warm it up between my fingers

and then I pat in on my face

I wait until it's fully absorbed

and then I continue applying the next product

It's important to pat it on your face

and wait until it's fully absorbed
