LAURA GOTTESDIENER: We're in Brooklyn, New York, outside Yemen Café.

It's one of more than a thousand bodegas and Yemeni-owned businesses that is on strike

today as a protest against President Trump's executive order barring people from seven

majority-Muslim nations, including Yemen, from entering the United States.

On the window, there's a sign that reads, "Dear Neighbor, We are closing our business

... [to] support our families, friends and loved ones who are stranded at U.S. airports

and overseas."

Well, just a few blocks away, hundreds of these Yemeni business owners and workers are

on strike, showing their defiance to President Trump's policies.

MOHAMMAD: He's trying to make America great.

He's not making America great.

He's making America worse and worse.

We need to stop this.

I'm from Yemen.

My name Mohammad.

And I came here today to tell him he cannot destroy America.

If he wants to deport immigrant people, he has to go first, before anyone else, because

we're all here from different countries.

JAMEL MOHAMMED: My name is Jamel Mohammed.

I am a store owner.

I own a deli in the Lower East Side called LoHo Gourmet Deli.

I was lucky.

I mean, I was one of the lucky people who brang—I brought my kids over before what's—before

what happened.

So, and I give, you know, a big support to everybody around here.

WAFA MUTHANA: My name is Wafa Muthana, and I'm 23 years old, and I'm a Yemeni American.

How can you ban a country from coming in, especially if you have green cards and visas?

I mean, this is outrageous!

SAL ALTAHERI: My name is Sal Altaheri.

And the reason we're here is in support of our family members that's left overseas,

actually, who are—got their papers.

They are—they went through the process of immigration.

They've been waiting for years.

The families here had spent thousands of dollars for them and for airfare, for all the accommodations

over there.

Now they've received their visas from the U.S. Consulate.

There are some in Djibouti.

There are some in Malaysia.

There's some in Cairo.

There's some in Algeria.

With this executive order, now they are not able to come in.

KHALED ALEDRESI: My name is Khaled Aledresi.

I'm a Yemeni American.

I am a cab driver, so I drive all over.

I'm with many drivers, Yemeni Americans.

So, we stopped working today.

I'm a citizen.

And my wife and my two daughters over there, I'm trying to apply for them.

But for the executive order, they stopped all the—I mean, the papers.

And they are stuck in the Djibouti now.

TANZILA RAHMAN: My name is Tanzila Rahman.

I'm from Harlem, and my parents are from Bangladesh.

And growing up, I was super-jealous of all the Yemeni kids in the neighborhood whose

parents owned the bodegas, and they'd walk in, and they would just like grab chips, and

I would get some, too.

So, to me, they've always been my friends and like the only other Muslims in class.

We are scared that Bangladesh will be put on the list.

We already know a couple Bengali kids that have been—that are on F1 visas, that have

been harassed at the airports, even though it's not on the list of banned countries.

MAKKE DAKHALOUI: My name is Makke.

And my sign reads, "My mom removes her hijab before leaving the house, so I wore mine."

The reason why I made this sign today is because—after realizing that my mom, as of late, ever since

the inauguration, has been scared to wear her hijab, because she does a housekeeping

job, and she fears that people might accuse her of being a thief, just because she's

a Muslim.

So she does not want to be identified as a Muslim in the workplace.

The thing that's so funny about it and that breaks my heart is because, during September

11, as a child, I was roughly around like 12, 13 years old, and I was scared to be identified

as a Muslim, and she motivated me to be a Muslim.

She motivated me to be proud to be Arab.

ABDUL RAHMAN: My name is Abdul Rahman.

We've been in this country for many years.

My father had been in this country.

Our grandfathers were in this country.

I do work in a grocery store, and we closed to come out here.

It is our duty to come, so Donald Trump can see what we are about.

This is wrong what he's doing.

It's wrong.

It's wrong.

2015-2017 Mustang MMD Chin Spoiler Winglets (GT, EcoBoost, V6) Review & Install - Duration: 3:04.

Hey, guys.

Stephanie with americanmuscle.com here with a review and install of the MMD Chin Spoiler

Winglets for 2015 and newer S550 GT, V6, and EcoBoost Mustangs.

In this video, we're gonna go over a few different topics when it comes to these winglets.

We're gonna talk about the styling, the materials and construction, and the install, as well.

We'll talk more about the install later, but I can tell you right now that the install

for these is easy.

It's a one out of three wrenches on the difficulty meter, but there is some drilling involved.

The MMD Chin Spoiler Winglets are gonna be a good option for those S550 owners out there

that are looking to add just a little something to the front end of their Mustang without

having to purchase an entirely new chin spoiler.

These can also be added to help tie together some other exterior mods, or they can stand

on their own.

Either way, these offer you a fast and simple way to give your Mustang a change in appearance

without having to purchase a whole new chin spoiler, and they're gonna be a lot less expensive

in that case, as well.

These chin spoilers winglets are just added to your factory chin spoiler.

They install with push pins and they wrap up and around the factory chin spoiler at

the very ends, right before the front wheels and tires.

MMD designed them to change the looks of your car in a very simple, very easy, and also

reversible way.

That's the beauty of these, in my opinion.

They're so simple, but they do make a difference in looks, and you don't have to spend an arm

and a leg or go with a completely aftermarket chin spoiler.

When it comes to materials, these are made from ABS plastic, which is commonly used for

exterior styling because it's lightweight, strong, and durable.

Those are all good qualities for an item that's gonna be living on the lower front end of

your car.

They do have a matte black finish, as well, which looks very much OEM-like, so, they're

gonna match and blend in with your factory chin spoiler and not look out of place.

These are gonna come with everything you need to get them installed.

Like I said, a big plus here is that they're very easy to install.

They install just with the supplied push pins, four in each side.

One thing that I did wanna mention, though, is that these are designed to fit the S550

GT, V6, and EcoBoost models.

They won't fit the GT350.

As far as price, you can expect to pay between $50 and $100 for these.

Now, if you compare that to your other chin spoiler and chin splitter options, there's

nothing that comes close to this price.

MMD is giving you a price here for the budget-minded people, but still giving you a way to change

the looks of your car, which I think is a great thing.

When it comes to the install, it's not a difficult one at all, and it's gonna be a one out of

three wrenches on the difficulty meter.

There is a little bit more to the install than just sticking these on and going, so,

you can expect to spend a half hour, tops, getting these on your car.

You will need some basic hand tools because you're looking at needing to drill the factory

chin spoiler for the push pin retainers, and you're also going to need a jack and stand

to get the car in the air.

Once you have the front end raised up, you can get to the sides of the chin spoiler where

these will mount.

I'd test-fit your winglets before actually installing, but once that's done, you can

drill your holes for the push pins, line up the winglet, and officially install it.

Wrapping things up here with the MMD Chin Spoiler Winglets.

These offer you a fast and subtle way to change the appearance of the front end of your Mustang.

They're very easy to install and you can check them out more online, right here at americanmuscle.com.

1997-2017 F-150 ShurTrax Max-Pax 300 lb. Truck Bed Weight Review & Install - Duration: 5:05.

Hey, guys.

I'm Alex from americanmuscle.com, and today I'm bringing you my quick overview and breakdown

of the ShurTrax Max-Pax 300 Pound Truck Bed Weight Kit, fitting your 1997 through current

F-150.

So, in this video, I'm gonna give a quick overview of who this is going to appeal to,

the construction and materials that you should be expecting from this kit, what you're gonna

be spending on the kit, as well, and then, the installation, which we'll hit a little

bit later.

But, right off the bat, you're gonna be a looking at a solid 1 out of 3 wrenches on

the difficulty meter, and less than 15 minutes to get these into your truck.

So, as a 2014 F-150 owner that's typically running around town, or in the back country,

with 2-wheel drive, I can definitely attest to the fact to my rear end not only being

a little bit light and experiencing some wheel hop, but actually having a mind of its own.

This can not only be disconcerting running around town or when you're running your truck

in poor weather conditions, but it could be dangerous for not only you and others around

you.

So, not only would this kit be beneficial having in the bed of your truck year-round,

but once the weather starts to change and the snow starts to fall, you're definitely

gonna notice that your rear end is gonna be all over the place.

Which, again, can be a little bit on the disconcerting side, unless you really enjoy having your

rear end flying all over the place, which can be a little bit fun sometimes.

So, the guys over at ShurTrax definitely saw this void here and took the initiative to

bring a product or a kit to market that's gonna give you that extra safety and security

in the back of your truck, as well as for someone that doesn't want to head down to

their local department store and pick up a truckload of stone, gravel, cement blocks,

or anything like that, as it can not only be dangerous for your paint, but it can also

cost you an arm and a leg just to fill it up.

So, again, this is not only gonna be really critical for truck owners that don't have

their bed typically filled with a bunch of gear, tools, or stone or concrete, for that

matter, but for truck owners out there that do live in parts of the country where you're

gonna be seeing poor weather and snow that much more often than not, that really need

to have that extra weight, simply just to get around town and do what you have to do.

So, in terms of the construction and materials here, guys, we're gonna see that the team

over at ShurTrax is gonna have these manufactured out of a polyurethane-type material.

Additionally, it's going to feature a tough, woven mesh so that you're not gonna have to

run into any issues with anything else in your bed coming into contact with these.

Now, additionally, this kit, specifically, is gonna be the 300 pound kit, which means

that you're gonna have 100 pounds of liquid per bag here, so that you can have an equal

weight distribution in the rear of your truck to, again, ensure that you keep it on the

ground, where it belongs, and not on a shoulder or off the road.

So, one of the things that I definitely like about this kit is that they're gonna feature

a low-profile design.

Additionally, when you're not using them, it's gonna be as simple as just draining them,

and then folding them back up like this and throwing them under your seats.

Now, the reason why I like that this is a low-profile design is gonna be that you can

still utilize putting gear, wood, no matter what you're gonna be putting in and out of

your bed, very safely and securely, but I would add that it's gonna be a decent idea

to maybe just throw a piece of plywood on top, just to make sure that nothing else is

coming into contact with them.

So, in terms of pricing here, you should except to be spending about 180 bucks for this kit,

which, don't get me wrong, I know it's a little bit on the higher side, but run this in comparison

to taking your truck down to your local hardware store or a landscaping place and getting your

bed filled up with stone, concrete blocks, or what have you.

And in the event you're not running a bed liner, this is not only going to trash the

paint in your bed, but you're gonna have all that material rocking around.

Now, for the easy use here, for having the ability to, essentially, fill these and drain

them out will, I think they're worth their weight in gold, additionally, for having the

added sense of security, putting extra weight on your rear wheels to keep you and your truck

on the road where it belongs.

Switching gears to the installation portion of the video, even if we can call it that.

Like I said in the beginning, you're looking at a solid 1 out of 3 wrenches on the difficulty

meter, and less than 15 minutes to get these into your truck.

And the ease of install is definitely a huge selling point here, as there's really nothing

to it.

This is gonna come with the adapter right here that I have on the table.

You're essentially gonna fill it and then tie these down to the back of your truck.

I do wanna add that these aren't gonna come with any type of line, but they're gonna have

holes right here.

You can attach them to your recovery points in the back of your truck, or anywhere else

you can find to tow these on.

All right, guys, so, just to wrap things up here, some final thoughts.

I definitely like this option, first and foremost, from the safety point of view, as the rear

of your truck definitely doesn't have that much weight it in.

I guarantee you that from time to time, you probably notice that it does have a tendency

to kind of slide out from underneath you.

While that can be fun for some people, for most other drivers out there on the road,

it's really not a great feeling.

It's disconcerting and it doesn't really leave you feeling that safe.

So, from a safety perspective, to have an extra 300 pounds in the back of your truck

where it belongs, I honestly think these are worth their weight in gold.

All right, so, that's my quick review and breakdown for the ShurTrax Max-Pax 300 Pound

Truck Bed Weight Kit, fitting your 1997 through current F-150, available right here at americanmuscle.com.

2011-2014 Mustang (GT, BOSS) Barton Hybrid 3 Shifter Review & Install - Duration: 7:51.

Hey guys, Stephanie with americanmuscle.com, here with an overview of the Barton Hybrid

3 Shifter for 2011-2014 GT and Boss Mustangs.

In this video, we're going to talk about the design of the shifter, how it can benefit

you and we're going to talk about the install.

I'll get into more detail later, but the install for the shifter is going to be a two out of

three wrenches in the difficulty meter.

The Barton Hybrid 3 Shifter is first off going to be for someone that doesn't want to be

tied into one single design.

Barton made this shifter to be for everyone, so they came up with a design that has mounting

options.

How you mount this shifter goes back to what you like.

And secondly, this short throw shifter is going to be the S197 owners that want a serious

shifter upgrade and are willing to pay for quality.

Besides all the different component upgrades, you're getting an entirely new unit that's

very easy to install and you're actually able to customize it and set it up how you like

it.

This is the only shifter that's available right now that does this and gives you different

mounting options.

I wanna start with the core of this shifter before we get into any of the mounting features

of it.

The heart of this shifter is very much like the original Barton Short Throw Shifter.

It's a lot of the same upgraded components and it's gonna firm up your shifts.

Barton has literally upgraded every single component of this shifter for you so it gives

a very solid performance.

One of the biggest features of this shifter, besides the mounting location options and

all of the upgraded components which I'll go over in a second, so there's a 25% reduction

in throw.

Now, I wouldn't consider the throw of the stock shifter long to begin with.

So if you think about it, a 25% reduction's pretty big.

Barton chose to use a 25% reduction so that the shifter wouldn't feel too notchy but it'd

feel smooth and accurate instead.

When you start reducing throw too much, the shifts can get notchy and not everyone likes

that.

There are a lot of things that make this shifter so great, but one of the most basic is that

it is an entire replacement that self-contains shifter components.

We're not just looking at an arm with a linkage to shorten the throw, this is a completely

revamped unit, so no taking apart the stock shifter and bringing components over.

Some of the components that you end up bringing over with other short throw shifter options

are actually the parts that caused some of the issues that the stock shifter has.

Another thing to consider is that this entire shifter is made from CNC billet aluminum and

stainless steel.

The housing is also weather-tight and pre-sealed for you, so no RTV needed.

This is a rock solid shifter, and if we compare it to the factory shifter, you'll see differences

right away.

One of the other reasons why this shifter has such nice solid shifts is because of the

bushings that Barton uses.

You have a solid stainless steel front bushing here.

The bushing and rear bracket help to control the normal vibrations that go through the

shifter and they stop nearly all of the deflection while some is absorbed through the bushing

in the rear bracket.

Really breaking this down some, this shifter eliminates what I consider two major weak

points in the factory shifter components, the traditional pivot cups and the ball socket

design.

The factory pivot cups are plastic.

They allow for a ton of deflection on the center shock and that means play and wiggle.

The center shock now has a pivot block with a meaty pivot cup that's aluminum, not plastic,

that's held in place by a pin and O-rings.

So no more pivot cups in ball sockets but a much more solid pivot block instead that

even has O-rings.

This is tight fit that can take up slack but not so tight to cause any binding.

The block then goes into the cartridge and into the main housing.

But this shifter has a different cartridge design that's unique.

Not only is the upper half of the cartridge adjustable so you can set shift stops, you

can also take this cartridge apart and almost customize the shifter if you want to.

The cartridge does have two sets of very stiff springs in it.

You can easily access the springs in the cartridge and remove those if you don't like them since

they are very stiff.

It's really going to be up to you as a driver to determine what you want here.

I just recommend that you at least break in these springs before you decide you don't

like them and you wanna remove them.

Of course this shifter is made for the MT826B trans so it is going to be reverse lockout

compatible.

It will retain both a reverse lockout and the backup camera so you won't be losing any

of those nice shock features if you wanna upgrade to the shifter.

The reverse lockout is identical to the factory reverse lockout, so factory look and feel

to it.

And another nice thing is that the shifter doesn't require any permanent modifications

to be installed.

Other than the general overall construction and upgraded components, what really makes

the shifter different than the others, even the original Barton Short Throw Shifter, is

the mounting options and the three bushing system.

So it's called the Hybrid 3 Shifter for three reasons.

One, because of the mounting options, two because of the linkage design and three because

of the bushing system.

If we look at the mounting options, you can mount this shifter directly to the trans or

directly to the body of the car.

You have an option here depending on what you like better.

If you mount to the trans directly, that means that you can run this on the linkage.

You have these two arms here that run up to the shifter area and that's where you're applying

all of your force as you're shifting.

Then there's a mounting block that bolts directly to the trans which eliminates the tie to the

body of the car.

This means that the shifter will move with the trans under load and everything will be

directly in line.

The only thing I will say here is that your shifter will be moving, which is good, but

you will feel some vibrations from the trans in the shift knob.

If you really don't want that feeling in your shift knob, you can always mount to the body

of the car.

If you mount to the body, you'll use a different bracket.

In this case, if the body of the car moves separate from the trans, the shifter will

stay with the body while the trans moves.

The linkage, which is the second part of the Hybrid 3 name, allows the shifter to do this

and still maintain accurate shifts.

The linkage allows for both vertical and twisting movement.

And the last component is the three-bushing design.

There are three bushings in the linkage rod and this is gonna get rid of the deflection

in the linkage rod during shifting.

Now, throughout this entire shifter, there is no metal to metal contact, which is gonna

keep things very smooth.

So overall, you're looking at a smooth precise shift no matter how you have this mounted.

And one more random thing here that I wanted to point out, the shifter comes with this

foam insulation here.

This isn't packaging.

So when you open your shifter up, don't throw it away.

You get this to give you some more noise reduction, so just make sure you don't throw it away

with the box if it's something that you want.

As far as price, you're looking at spending between $400 and $500 for this shifter.

Like I mentioned earlier, this is gonna be for someone that's willing to pay for an excellent,

beefed up, accurate shifter and for someone that knows the value of something like this.

The install here is a fairly easy install, especially if you have a helping hand.

I'm gonna call this a two out of three wrenches in the difficulty meter and should take about

an hour to complete the install.

You need a few tools to get the install completed but nothing crazy, and a lift would be your

best bet to get the job done.

I'm not going to go into full detail here since the install is a little bit involved,

but to get the factory shifter out, you're looking at doing the obvious things.

Removing the factory shift knob, removing some center console pieces and getting your

boot out from inside the car.

Then after that, you're looking at needing to pull the trans mount so you can lower the

trans enough to get the clearance to get the stock shifter uninstalled and your new Barton

one in.

The new shifter is very easy to install and you don't have to transfer over any parts

or disassemble the factory shifter.

You install the new cartridge separately once your trans is back in place from inside the

car and don't forget to set your shift stops.

This literally installs like the factory shifter uninstalled and it's so well-made that it

went together very nicely.

Everything fit well, we didn't need to hammer anything to place, but it's all snug enough

to eliminate play.

We did decide to mount to the trans here, but how you install yours will be up to you.

Wrapping things up here with the Barton 3 Shifter, this shifter is a serious complete

shifter upgrade.

The entire shifter is made from CNC billet aluminum and stainless steel.

It's gonna come with a cartridge that reduces throw 25%.

The shifter reuses the stock shift knob and it also retains the reverse lockout and backup

camera.

You have two different mounting options to the body or to the trans.

The shifter has a new innovative linkage and a three-bushing design in the linkage.

As always, you can check this thing out more online.

2004-2008 F-150 Carbon Fiber Tail Lights Review & Install - Duration: 4:16.

Hey guys, Adam here with americanmuscle.com.

Today I'm bringing you a quick overview and installation of the Carbon Fiber Tail Lights

available for all '04 to '08 style side F-150's.

In this video, of course, we'll be going over the styling and appearance of the Carbon Fiber

Tail Lights, and on top of that we'll talk about the materials and construction, and

I'll top the video off with the install.

Which I'll let you know up front here gets a one out of three wrenches on our difficulty

meter because these are gonna be one of the easiest things you can do to your F-150 by

far.

The Carbon Fiber Tail Lights you see here will be for any '04 to '08 style side F-150

owner who's looking to completely change up the rear end look of their F-150.

Not only by picking up a new set of tail lights with the carbon fiber appearance, but also

with the Euro spec design, which you don't see too often here in the US.

Now right off the bat here, I definitely wanna say that the carbon fiber make up, especially

in tail lights, will not be for everybody.

Some guys out there might think this is a little over the top, a little tacky, but of

course, there's always gonna be the guys out there who might be seriously interested in

this.

Especially with the carbon fiber on top of the Euro spec design.

I'll be touching on both aspects of those tail lights.

Now the first thing I'm gonna talk about is the more noticeable thing, especially with

the title of the product here, the carbon fiber make up of the appearance.

Now what I wanna point out here is it's got a carbon fiber we've built into the tail light

design inside the back of the housing here.

Which is very evident when you're standing at the rear end of your F-150.

With that said, this is not a design that's typically used inside tail lights.

As a matter of fact, this is a first for me.

I've never exactly seen anything like this.

Now with that said, this is not going to be manufactured from real 100% carbon fiber.

This is simply just going to be a wrap job inside the materials of the housing.

That way you're just getting the appearance.

So don't expect any true weight reduction with these.

Now the second thing I want to tackle with these tail lights is gonna be the European

specification.

Now what I mean by that is the lights as you can see are completely redesigned.

A very unorthodox combination of lighting.

Now, this is made to the European spec, which believe it or not is still DOT approved, and

still operates under the US regulations.

Still gonna be street legal if you wanna pop this on your style side F-150.

Now with that said, you get your brake light up top.

You get your reverse light in the middle.

You still have all functionality of your day to day turn signals, hazard lights, reverse

lights, everything still operates normally, it's just a little bit of a different pattern.

And also includes the reflection light on the side here.

Now as far as materials and construction goes here, I wanna point out these are all made

from the OEM quality materials, so this will hold up for years as I would imagine.

It feels exactly like an OEM tail light does.

Now if you are one of the people who are interested in the carbon fiber make up with the Euro

spec design, and this is really something that you think you can picture on your own

style side F-150 from the '04 to '08 generation, expect to be spending just south of about

250 bucks.

In my opinion, not a terrible price here.

You're getting a completely redesigned tail light.

Something that's only seen over in European countries.

And of course, you get the very unique styling of the carbon fiber design.

Something like I said I've never seen before.

So this is something that's definitely gonna stand out.

If you're looking to be the unique one on the block, this is definitely the way to go.

I'm just gonna quickly run through the installation with you.

Again, one out of three wrenches on our difficulty meter.

The only tools you'll need are a simple ratchet and socket set, and maybe a flat head screwdriver

if you wanna pry off those factory ones, but you probably won't even need that.

You don't need any jack and jack stands.

This is something you can simply do in the driveway at home in I'd say about 15 to 20

minutes at tops.

All you'd have to do is drop that tailgate and use your ratchet and socket set, of course,

just to unbolt the factory tail light.

Once you get that unbolted, twist and turn your factory bulbs out of the housing, both

the break light and the reverse light.

You're gonna twist those into the carbon fiber housing keyer [SP] and bolt this up to your

body, and of course shut the tailgate when you're done after you repeat the process for

the opposite side.

I'd say about 15 to 20 minutes tops, and a one out of three wrenches on the difficulty

meter is an absolute definite.

Just to wrap things up here, if you're the owner of an '04 to '08 style side F-150, and

you're looking to pick up one of the most unique tail lights I've ever seen with a carbon

fiber make up and a European spec design.

You might wanna check out the Carbon Fiber Tail Lights you see here, which are available

at americanmuscle.com.

2015-2017 F-150 Barricade Extreme Heavy Duty Brush Guard Review & Install - Duration: 7:50.

Hey, everybody, I'm Justin with americanmuscle.com, and this is my detailed review and install

of the Barricade Extreme Heavy Duty Brush Guard, available for your 2015 and newer F-150.

In this review, I'm gonna touch on what the Barricade is going to offer for your truck

in regards to functionality and styling, we'll talk about the construction the Barricade

is gonna deliver, and then, finally, we'll briefly cover the installation.

And with this piece here, you're not looking at any cutting or permanent modification,

but some of the bolts can be a little tricky to access without removing other parts like

your grille, for instance.

So that is gonna bump the install up for me to a two out of three wrenches on the difficulty

meter, in addition to this thing just weighing a ton, but we will have some more detail on

the install later in the video.

Plain and simple, if you're a 2015 and newer F-150 owner and you're looking for the most

protection for the front end of your truck, while spending the least amount of money in

the process, the Barricade Extreme Heavy Duty Brush Guard might just be your best bet on

the site.

Now, brush guards are obviously a great way to add a bunch of protection for the front

end of your truck, but the Barricade option takes that a step further by adding these

included bars and punch plate up here more specifically to protect the front end or the

grille area.

This is gonna be great if you do subject your truck to a lot of off-road use, a lot of job

site use, or if you just happen to plow through a deer or zombie on your way home from work.

The Barricade's gonna help you out, and it's gonna look very aggressive while doing so.

Now, Barricade is a relatively new and upcoming company in the aftermarket truck world, and

what I can tell you, in a nutshell, is that they produce everything from armor, like this

brush guard we have here, to tonneau covers and everything in-between.

And a lot of their stuff is very budget-friendly when it comes to price, and the Extreme Heavy

Duty Brush Guard that we do have here fits the bill.

Low to mid-$400 price point, making it one of the most affordable in the category.

But if this thing is just a little too heavy-duty for you or maybe a little too hardcore for

you, I should point out that Barricade does make a slightly toned-down version for the

'15 and newer trucks for less money that you can find here on the site as well.

So let's first talk about the construction, and from just moving this thing around the

shop here with my buddy Stan, I can tell you it's as solid as it comes, guys.

Heavy-duty 2-inch mild steel tubing for the main support bars here, obviously some smaller

bars all around.

Everything's finished off in a satin black powder coat.

It does look really appealing here in the shop.

Now, again, they do take this a step further with the punch steel center plate and the

support bars, adding a ton of protection for the grille and radiator area, something that

I really like.

And again, if you're looking for all-out max protection, this is a great option.

The entire brush guard is backed by Barricade's three-year warranty, which does add a little

peace of mind as well if you ever run into any issues.

How about the functionality?

Well, as you might imagine, this one is pretty cut and dry, right?

I mean, a brush guard is the most hardcore way to protect the entire front end of your

truck from whatever might get in your way, maybe some trees or obstacles off-road, obstacles

on road, maybe a wayward shopping cart in a parking lot.

Whatever it may be, this thing will help keep the front end of your truck and even the headlight

area here free of any dents and looking good for years to come.

And I really just can't stress that enough, guys.

This is gonna be the best way to bullet-proof the entire front end of your truck.

We talked about the 2-inch mild steel tubing throughout, but the two vertical supports

here, the main supports, these guys are as burly as they come.

Again, mild steel and almost eight inches thick at certain points here, just a very

rock-solid part.

And also the headlight area, we talked about that as well.

You are getting some protection for the front fender and headlight area.

But a good thing to point out, too, with this thing is that it shouldn't affect any of your

light output with your F-150.

And speaking of light output, I've seen a few people get creative with this particular

brush guard when it comes to mounting auxiliary lighting.

Again, if you do a lot of off-roading or if you spend a lot of time on the dark work site,

this is another great option for you.

I've seen a lot of people utilize this middle bar here, but you can use the bottom one,

the middle one, the top one, whatever you wanna do, light bars, cubes, spotlights, whatever.

And the best part is you won't have to drill any brackets or holes into your actual truck

by utilizing the brush guard instead.

Finally, on the functionality tip here, this top bar...and this one might be a little bit

of a stretch but is certainly worth pointing out, in my opinion.

I think this is gonna act almost as a bug deflector or rock deflector for the angled

portion of your 2015 and newer F-150's hood.

I have a 2015.

I know this portion of the hood has taken a lot of abuse.

I've seen some rock chips.

And though you're not getting a ton of coverage here, at least it looks that way, it's still

better than having nothing at all.

So functionality aside, what about appearance?

Well, I will say there are gonna be some people out there who don't give a damn about functionality.

When it comes to a brush guard, they just want something that's gonna add a tough look

to their truck.

And if that does sound like you, well, look at this thing, right?

I mean, it's definitely a zombie apocalypse type of brush guard if I've ever seen one.

So if you're not really into the whole functionality thing and you just wanna add something that's

gonna really toughen up the front end of your truck, this will certainly fit the bill.

And appearance aside, there are some things I do really dig about the Barricade from a

design aspect, mainly how well it hugs the front end of the truck when installed.

Now, some other options out there tend to stick out a little further from the front

end, looking a little goofy, in my opinion.

Not the case here with the Barricade and some of our side shots will hopefully show that

for you guys.

There's not really a lot of dead space between the front end of your truck and the actual

brush guard itself.

Again, hugs the front end, just makes for a more custom look.

In addition to that, let's get back to that price, right?

I mean, mid to low-$400 price point for all of this, which, to me, seems like a very good

deal and, again, one of the best on the site when you're looking for all-out protection.

But let's switch gears and talk about the install here with the Barricade.

And as I pointed out at the very top of this video, guys, you're gonna be looking at two

out of three wrenches on the difficulty meter, in my opinion, based on two factors alone.

Now, the actual install itself really isn't terrible, but this thing weighs a ton.

It's big, there's a lot of stuff to muscle around, so an extra set of hands will certainly

be necessary for this job.

In addition to that, you're looking at a basic socket set, maybe a few open-ended wrenches.

Ratcheting will certainly be helpful in addition to a panel removal tool or a flat-head screwdriver

to help you pop that front cover off the front bumper to gain access to the bolts.

First and foremost, you're gonna wanna remove that factory grille.

I know it seems a little silly, but it will be necessary in order to get this thing installed

properly.

You'll also need to remove that front bumper, of course, along with the tow hooks because

those two bolt holes for each tow hook will be used to mount the included brackets that

are coming along with the Barricade option.

Once those lower brackets are in place in the tow hook area, you can go ahead and switch

your focus to the upper brackets.

These will be installed behind the front bumper in the grille area.

So now you know why you have to remove that front grille, and you will be using the included

hardware, again, with the Barricade option.

With the lower and upper brackets in place, now's the time to grab your buddy and get

the brush guard in place itself.

Now, you'll wanna secure this thing to those four brackets, again, using the included hardware.

It's just gonna be a little tricky to line it up at first, but once you get everything

in place, tighten up the hardware, and that's really it.

Again, it's not a difficult job, but it's the stuff that you have to remove in order

to gain access to the brackets that can stretch the install out a little bit.

So I'm calling it two out of three wrenches, again, on the difficulty meter because of

that and the overall weight of this thing.

And overall, you're looking at maybe an hour or two in the garage or shop before the brush

guard is in place.

I love the Barricade Extreme Heavy Duty Brush Guard for the simple fact that, again, you're

getting the most protection for the least amount of money.

This thing's built very well, it fits the front-end grate on the newer F-150s, and it's

not gonna tax your wallet in the process.

So that is my review of the Barricade Brush Guard, which you can find right here at americanmuscle.com.
