Humanity is a virtue associated with basic ethics.
There usually exist a universal agreement on
what is considered ethical and what's not.
People, therefore, avoid at all cost being seen or
caught engaging in controversial acts from time to time.
Today we look at 5 freakiest leaked documents that exposed terrifying secrets.

Manchurian candidates Manchurian Candidate is a code used to refer
to human subjects, unwillingly subjected to mind
control experiments.
A political thriller novel with the title Manchurian Candidates, written by
Richard Condon, 1956, also featured twice in a film can help us understand the concept.
Here is a short plot summery of the film; Major Bennet Marco and Sergeant Raymond Shaw
and the rest of their team are kidnapped in 1952
with the ongoing Korean War.
They are then taken to Manchuria where they get brainwashed and
made to believe that Shaw saved their lives while at war.
For this reason, the congress awards Sergeant Shaw the Medal of Honor.
Years past after the war, Marco now working as an
Intelligence Officer, start having on and off
dreams of Shaw killing two of his comrades while under clinical observation by the Chinese
and soviet intelligence officials.
He then realizes that a solitaire "Queen of the Hearts" card activates
a relentless assassin character in him, he takes orders from the communists then forgets
about everything.
There exists an official confirmation of the CIA involvement in the Manchurian concept.
These are excerpts from a leaked CIA document (Note,
CIA would never willingly agree to provide proof of the existence of Manchurian candidates)
publicly released, related to MKULTRA; a program of experiments done by the CIA on
human subjects, sometimes against the law.
"Manchurian candidate experiment was done under MKULTRA subproject 136, approved for
funding on August 23, 1969.
MKULTRA subproject proposal explicit plan to deliberately create
children with multiple personalities submitted for funding on May 30, 1969.
Technical services division of the CIA had initiated a TOP SECRET
clearance status for the Principle Investigator on
Subproject 136 at the time the subproject was approved.
Subproject 136 documents had its quotations appearing immediately before introduction
to Bluebird; intentional creation of Multiple Personality by Psychiatrists.
A good number of the MKULTRA subprojects comprised of subcomponents of the Manchurian
candidate construction process.
Without the Bluebird documents, it would be not clear if the
mind control doctors ever succeeded in constructing a full Manchurian candidate."

Tuskegee Syphilis Experiment.
This was a disreputable clinical experiment conducted between the year 1932 and 1937.
This began with the Public Health Service, in collaboration
with the Tuskegee institute, recording the natural history of syphilis in the pretense
that they were providing free medical care from the
government of United States.
It was then called "Tuskegee Study of Untreated Syphilis in the
Negro Male".
This experiment started involving 600 black men, 399 had previously contacted the disease
and the remaining 201 did not have the disease.
The experiment was conducted without an informed consent from the patients.
They were told by the researchers that they were being
treated for "bad blood" a common term used in the area, Alabama, to refer to several
types of ailments; syphilis, anemia, and fatigue.
The patients were never given true medication and
treatment to cure syphilis.
In exchange for taking the program, they were given incentives such
as free food, burial insurance, and free medical exams.
What actually went wrong is the researchers lost funding for the project, and still they
continued without informing the patients they were never being treated.
None of the infected men were ever told they had the disease.
When a set of scholars were appointed to review the
study, they found that even with penicillin drug being agreed upon as the most effective
drug to cure syphilis, researchers did not offer
it.
They found out that the researchers never gave the
men a choice of quitting the study; even when the highly effective antibiotic became widely
used.
The study, therefore, was controversial for reasons related to the researchers' ethical
standards.
Their failures led to major amendments in the United State law and regulation of
participants in clinical experiments and studies.
The law requires documented consents from patients before a study begins.

Stolen New Born Babies.
Most of us have some point in time heard of stories about new born babies going missing
from hospitals, or mysteriously dying with no evidence
of their lifeless bodies.
What then crosses your mind when you realize that such incidences are
indeed true and what actually happens to them afterward?
A few years back a haunting BBC documentary exposed a 5-decade scandal of baby trafficking
by the Catholic Church in Spain.
An investigation revealed that up to 300, 000 babies of Spanish decent were
stolen from their parent and sold for adoption over a period of 50 years.
A top secret network of doctors, nurses, priests and nuns trafficked
the babies in a widespread practice that began during the
dictatorship epoch of General Franco and continued until the nineties.
Several families who lost their babies in the Spanish hospitals battled for the government
to look into the scandal.
Several mothers say they were told their babies had died during or shortly after birth.
The women, often young and unmarried, were told
they could not see the lifeless bodies not attend the
burial.
In some cases when the mothers were shown the bodies, they were freezing cold.
The truth is those babies were sold to childless couples,
financially stable as this meant a more appropriate life for
them.
Many families of the Spanish stolen babies have taken DNA test in the hope of eventually
matching with their children since then.
There have been recorded successes but without having nationally
coordinated information on these cases, reuniting the relatives will be a problem.
It is also believed that thousands of such cases will never see the
light of day because children from these families fear that
their adopted parents will be seen as criminals.

Rosemary Kennedy, Disastrous Lobotomy.
Mary Kennedy born in September 18, 1918, was the oldest sister of President John F. Kennedy
and Senators Robert F Kennedy and Ted Kennedy and daughter to Joseph Sir and Rose
Fitzgerald Kennedy.
She was scheduled for a lobotomy; an experimental surgical procedure
meant to make mentally ill people more docile, that involve drilling holes on both sides
of the head, inserting a spatula into cranium near
the frontal lobes and turning and scraping, at the
age of 23.
Excerpted from two documented books, Rosemary started showing behavioral problems at a
very young age.
In Rosemary: The Hidden Kennedy Daughter author Kate Larson brings a lively
daughter with the 'perfect smile' struggling to find her place in the dynastic family.
Larson writes that Rosemary's behavioral problem began during her birth, her brain
was deprived oxygen.
Growing up, Rose, her mother, began to notice she was different.
The family often did their best involving her in family
activities; going sailing and always ensuring that she
was asked to dance in parties.
But as she grew older she began to experience tantrums; an
uncontrolled outburst of anger, that sometimes turned violent.
At the same time, she was developing a voluptuous figure that was attracting
men.
This raised concern to John; an unwanted pregnancy in the family would ruin
his sons' political future.
In November 1941, Joe scheduled her for a lobotomy procedure.
The surgery failed and Rosemary ended up with a brain the capacity
of a toddler.
Almost disabling her completely.
She was then housed in a psychiatric facility in New York for seven years away from her
family with only her parents knowing her whereabouts.
Joe then gave an order for her daughter to be
taken to Saint Colleta and never laid eyes on her again.
In the second book, The Missing Kennedy, author Elizabeth Kehler-Pentacoff writes about her
memories visiting Rosemary at Saint Colleta where she was taken care of for over 30 years.
She says Rosemary loved parties, music, and sweets.
She later died at the age of 86 in January 2005.

Unit 731 For 40 years the horrible activities of unit
731 remained one of the most protected secrets during the World War II.
Unit 731 was a secret biological and chemical warfare research unit of
the Japanese army that performed vile human experimentation in preparation for germ
warfare.
It was until 1984 that Japan agreed to what it had long denied.
An estimation of 3,000 enemy soldiers were used as guinea pigs by deliberately
infecting them with plagues, anthrax, cholera and other pathogens, to breed and develop
killer diseases.
Some included vivisection without anesthesia to see how long it would take a
human eye to pop out.
Many of the prisoners who died in the name of research were further used in other medical
experiments; outrageous trials to determine the effect of a frostbite on human body.
Frostbite testing involved taking the victims outside,
keeping their limbs in water, allowing them to
freeze.
They were not referred to as people, but as 'Maruta' meaning wooden logs.
Shortly before japan surrendered, the sites for such experiments were destroyed to avoid
proof of the lethal acts.
The remaining 400 prisoners were killed and the employees were made to
swear to secrecy.
The mice infected with the bubonic plague; a type of bacterial infection,
which could have caused lives of 30, 000 people, were released from the laboratory kept.
Some of the caught researchers were given immunity
secretly by the United Sates government in exchange for the information they gathered
through human experimentation instead of being tried for war crimes.
In japan, however, no one was ever got caught.
Hisato Yoshimura, one of the worst criminals, who was put in charge of the frostbite experiment,
earned himself a key medical post in public sector.
