Youtube daily Jan 16 2017

Hey its Yuka (Eng subs by ~Aphexx~)

So, Today! tadaa you guys know what this is?

I've deep fried cream filled buns!!! until now I've deep fried all sorts of things and this time around...

I've been getting all these tweets saying that deep frying cream buns would be very delish so I gave it a go

alrighty lets see how its made

ok I'll prep the cream filled buns and the breading

I've used 20 cream buns I'll make the coating using milk and flour

as for a proper recipe I just adjusted by how it looked I don't have any instructions to go by...

I believe you'll be ok if it resembles the consistency of a tempura batter

cut the buns to a size you see fit since these buns are pretty small I'll only cut them in half

now coat the buns in the batter

deep fry the cream buns

this is what mine looks like delish

lets cut it

the cream inside has warmed up nicely and looks delish

and add cinnamon and condensed milk to taste

looks delish

tadaa the aroma of cinnamon is very deep fried bun... they're almost always paired together aren't they... it reminds me of that

but if you don't like the taste of cinnamon you can skip it.. .... and you probably knew that without me saying so.... yep...

itadakimasu I believe this is best eaten using my hands even though I

know they'll get all sticky and stuff. it looks like this

very delish crazy delish...

buns are delish when you deep fry them and with the batter its so crisp

the cream inside is warmed right up making it so very soft its very delish

I feel as though it tastes 100% better than eating it the normal way

well... its probably because I like very rich foods

so good.

just look at how jiggly the cream is... .... wait jiggly?

the batter I made this time around didn't utilize any sugar or egg

and well the coating isn't sweet or anything and I feel as though it suits the buns

and I used stuff like condensed milk and.... I saw some treats that used cinnamon sort of like

apples and cinnamon with sugar. so I kind of copied that

the aroma from the cinnamon is very nice as well and the condensed milk I~~~i~~~i~~~~~i~~ is delish

things are more delish when you deep fry them

as for deep frying techniques there are many ways to do it the big mac I made earlier I put some panko bread crumbs on it

and I made donuts with a batter and like today you can make a batter from just milk and flour or water

there are so many ways to deep fry foods so many ways to make your deep fried dreams come true..

MUH' DEEP FRIED DREAMS!!!

the buns are nice and chewy when you coat it in batter and deep fry it.......

it becomes chewy....

final bite itadakimasu

oops I guess its 2 bites

all done gochisosamadeshita

when you deep fried custard cream....

wait.. deep fried custard cream? they made me so happy

ummm... the condensed milk was a great addition that double cream hit of condensed milk and custard cream

was so delish the bun becomes so nice and chewy when deep fried

and the surrounding coating was so nice and crisp it was absolutely delish

this would be a good idea for some leftover buns that have dried out just a bit as well

when you put in a little extra effort things are more delish I believe the calories sort of skyrocket but.....

OMG things that are overflowing in calories are so delish

oh yeah... that's right I took a break from youtube for 3 days and I'm so happy to get back to making videos again

and well... video editing will.... probably be enjoyable as well lol....

yep, but to tell the truth its very tough to do but I'm enjoying every day

everyone thank you very much! I especially am thankful to all those well wishers on twitter

you all give me the strength to keep going thank you very much!!! its so very delish won't you all give it a try

and as always thanks for watching and if you liked this video please hit the like and subscribe button BAI BAI

The Russian Language (The Language Analysis Series) | Stefan Kosmidis™ - Duration: 6:47.

[Russian Accent] What do you mean? I am Russian!

[Russian Accent] I have Vodka for everybody!

Поехали! [pa-yé-kha-lee] - Let's get started!

Ah...

Hey guys welcome back to episode three of the Language Analysis! Series!

Today is going to be about the (Russian) language. So let's begin!

So natively the language is pronounced (ру́сский язы́к)

There is 150 million native speakers.

And when combined with L2 speakers then there is 260 million.

Russian is the 8th most spoken language in the world.

Russian is a Slavic language part of the EAST SLAVIC group.

Which includes Ukrainian, Belarusian, and Rusyn, which are its closest relatives.

Russian is spoken in a vast number of countries and over 38 territories.

The places where Russian has an official status are;

Russia, Belarus, Kazakhstan and Kyrgyzstan.

Russian is also spoken as a lingua franca throughout most of central Asia,

the Caucasus region and Eastern Europe.

It is also recognised as a minority language in Romania,

Finland, Norway, Armenia, Poland, the Czech Republic, Slovakia,

Turkmenistan and Uzbekistan.

So standard Russian has derived from the "Moscow dialect".

Russian can be divided typically into three main groups.

Northern, Central, and Southern.

For such a large country geographically there appears to be a lack of regional dialects,

and is pretty much a homogeneous language.

This is due to the beginning of the 18th century

with the modernization reforms of the Russian state, under the rule of Peter the Great.

Up until the 20th century mainly the upper noble classes and urban population spoke the standardized form

while the lower class from the countryside continued to speak in their own dialects.

This all changed during the mid 20th century as there begun to be a compulsory education system

that was established by the Soviet government,

ruling out any minor dialects of Russian.

Russian has a lineal descendant of the language used in Kievan Rus'

which was a spoken language right up until the 14th century.

Throughout the Kievan period, dialects of Old East Slavic where spoken.

Many loanwords came primarily from Old Church Slavonic and from Byzantine Greek.

Also During the pre-kievan period many loanwords came from Germanic languages,

particularly Gothic and Old Norse.

So let's take a look at what Russian sounds like!

[Ukrainian, Belorussian and Russian Sample]

In this example it has shown a comparison of Ukrainian, Belorussian and Russian.

I would like to thank Olga Reznikova for allow me to have permission to use a sample of her video.

So As you have noticed each sentence sounds quite similar

with a few words here and there which are different or pronounced slightly different.

I have linked a great article in the description box about mutal interlligibtly of Slavic languages.

Definitely check it out as it goes into a depth study of each language and its percentage of intelligibility.

Russian is written using the Cyrillic alphabet.

Historically most of the letters have derived from Ancient Greek alphabet.

Church Slavonic was the literary language around the 9th century and was used side by side with the spoken old east Slavic.

Sometime during the 10th century AD a new alphabet appeared which was known as Cyrillic

and is the Alphabet used today.

However Church Slavonic is still used in the Russian Orthodox church.

The writing system is used for various alphabets across eastern Europe

The north and central Asia.

The following places are where the Alphabet is used today are;

Belarus

Bosnia and Herzegovina

Bulgaria

Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan

Macedonia, Mongolia

Montenegro, Russia

Serbia, Tajikistan and Ukraine.

The Russian alphabet consists of 33 letters.

There is 6 base vowel sounds and 21 consonants.

15 of the consonants can be pronounced as a Hard or Soft sound.

A soft sound is made by placing the front of the tongue closer to the palate.

This is called a Palatalized Consonant.

Russian is classified as a fusional language: a fusional language

A fusional uses prefixes and suffixes and adds them to the root of words or a stem of a word.

The most common word order is SOV,

however unlike english russian has more flexibility in the word order due to its case system.

One of the most notorious things that Russian Language learners have difficulty with, is the cases sytem.

I personally wouldn't blame them. As Russian has 6 cases.

Those cases are;

Nominative, Genitive,

Dative, Accusative,

Instrumental and Prepositional

There are three tenses;

Past, present & Future.

There is also a concept called an Aspect tense which is applied in Russian tenses.

Perfect aspect - shows that something has been completed once.

While Imperfective aspect - shows that something's hasn't been completed or is in the process of being completed.

Russian has: Feminine, Masculine and Neuter

Feminine nouns end in the following;

-a, -я, -ия

In the words such as;

картина, семья, история

Neuter nouns end in the following;

-o, -e, -ие, -мя

In the words such as;

письмo, платьe, внимание, время

and mostly all other endings are masculine.

With exceptions of course!

There are great learning resources for russian;

on the market there are lots of competitive apps;

The ones I would suggest would have to be Memrise, Babbel, Duolingo.

If you are interested in reading further about the Russian Language I would suggest checking out these websites;

The first link contains a blog about everything you need to know about Russian.

The second link is a website, plus accompanying app.

The third link explains about topics on the Russian Language

In particular nouns, cases and gender.

So that was episode three of the Language Analysis Series. I hope you guys enjoyed.

And if you haven't already definitely check out episode two which was on the Sicilian language

And until then, happy learning! Bye!
