Mid-Del Superintendent talks about Oklahoma's teacher shortage problem - Duration: 8:29.
ABIGAIL OGLE, MARKIE MARTIN, AND
METEOROLOGIST BRAD SOWDER.
ANCHOR: WE LOST A TEACHER TODAY
TO A JOB IN A CORRECTIONAL
FACILITY.
DR. RICK COBB, THE
SUPERINTENDENT OF MID-DEL PUBLI
SCHOOLS TWEETED THIS ON
JANUARY 3 TO TALK ABOUT THE
CURRENT STATE OF OUR EDUCATION
SYSTEM.
WE'LL CONTINUE THIS
CONVERSATION.
WE ARE JOINED BY DR. RICK COBB.
THANK YOU FOR BEING WITH US.
>> THANKS FOR HAVING ME.
ANCHOR: WANT TO START WITH THAT
TWEET YOU SENT OUT.
I'M SURE THERE WAS THOUGHT
BEHIND IT WHETHER TO SEND IT.
WHY DID YOU DECIDE TO TWEET
THAT?
>> THE IMPACT -- I WAS DRIVING
HOME FROM WORK AND OUR HR
DIRECTOR SENT ME A TEXT MESSAGE
AND IT BASICALLY SAID THAT WE
JUST LOST A TEACHER TO A JOB IN
A CORRECTIONAL FACILITY.
YOU KNOW, I GET HOME AND I READ
THE TEXT AND I'LL SITTING IN MY
GARAGE AND REALLY LETTING IT
SINK IN.
I JUST DECIDED, YOU KNOW, I'M
ALWAYS TRYING TO COME UP WITH
GOOD EXAMPLES OF WHAT WE'RE
DEALING WITH IN OKLAHOMA SCHOOLS
JUST TO ILLUSTRATE THE PROBLEMS
OF THE TEACHER SHORTAGE.
AND I DON'T THINK I HAVE EVER
TWEETED ANYTHING ELSE OUT THAT
HAD THAT KIND OF IMPACT IN TERMS
OF PEOPLE RESPONDING TO IT.
IT'S A BIG LOSS.
IT'S AN ENGLISH TEACHER.
A HIGH SCHOOL ENGLISH TEACHER
LEAVING IN THE MIDDLE OF THE
YEAR.
REGARDLESS OF THE SITUATION,
THAT'S A BIG LOSS.
YOU KNOW, CORRECTIONS IS ANOTHER
THING IN OKLAHOMA THAT'S
SEVERELY UNDERFUNDED.
SO WE'RE COMPETING WITH OTHER
AGENCIES AND OTHER STATE
FUNCTIONS FOR OUR TEACHERS RIGHT
NOW, AND IN EVERY WAY YOU
CONCEPTUALIZE IT, IT'S A HARD
LOSS.
ANCHOR: YOU HAVE A BLOG THAT YOU
RUN.
YOU'RE ACTIVE ON TWITTER.
THIS WAS ILLUSTRATING THE STATE
OF OKLAHOMA EDUCATION.
LIKE YOU SAID, YOU GOT A LOT OF
ENGAGEMENTS ON THAT, RETWEETS.
A LOT OF PEOPLE WERE RESPONSIVE.
CAN YOU TELL US WHY THE TEACHER
LEFT?
WAS IT MORE MONEY?
WHAT WAS THE SITUATION?
>> I DIDN'T TALK TO THE TEACHER
PERSONALLY, SO I CAN'T ANSWER
THAT.
IT'S NOT THE ONLY LOSS THAT WE
HAVE HAD MIDYEAR.
WE HAVE HAD SEVERAL.
WE HAD ONE POSITION THAT WE
THOUGHT WAS FILLED WITH THE
STUDENT-TEACHER WHO GRADUATED IN
DECEMBER AND WAS GOING TO START
WORK AT ONE OF OUR MIDDLE
SCHOOLS IN JANUARY.
BUT SHE ENDED UP GETTING A JOB
IN ANOTHER DISTRICT AFTER WE
OFFERED HER A JOB.
ANOTHER THING THAT CHANGED THERE
IS THAT I THINK BACK TO WHEN I
STARTED MY CAREER AND I APPLIED
TO EVERY SCHOOL DISTRICT THAT I
COULD THINK OF AND EVENTUALLY
STARTED OUT IN MUSKOGEE. NOW
TEACHERS ARE BASICALLY -- WE'RE
THE ONES COMPETING FOR THE
TEACHERS INSTEAD OF THE TEACHERS
COMPETING FOR US.
I GUESS IT'S BROADER THAN THAT.
ANCHOR: LOOKED THROUG THE
CONVERSATIONS THAT YOU HAVE HAD
ON SOCIAL MEDIA BECAUSE YOU GUY
DO THE HASHTAG OKLAED.
YOU USED THAT AS OUTREACH TO
TALK TO THE COMMUNITY ABOUT THE
SITUATION THAT'S GOING ON, THE
HUGE BUDGET CRISIS, THE TEACHER
SHORTFALL, THE EMERGENCY
CERTIFICATIONS.
I SAW THIS TWEET YOU SENT ON
JANUARY 8.
IT WAS REALLY INTERESTING.
WE'RE SPREAD TOO THIN, TOO MANY
INITIATIVES, TOO LITTLE FUNDING,
TOO MUCH TURNOVER.
CHURN CHURN CHURN.
WHAT DID YOU MEAN BY YOU'RE
SPREAD TOO THIN, TOO MANY
INITIATIVES.
>> IF YOU THINK BACK OVER THE
LAST SIX YEARS, THERE'S BEEN A
LOT OF REFORM INTO OKLAHOMA
SCHOOLS AT THE SAME TIME FUNDING
WAS SHRINKING.
TEACHER EVALUATIO NEW
STANDARDS, NEW STANDARDS AGAIN
--
ANCHOR: THE TESTING.
>> ALL THE TESTING AND THEN
TAKING THE TESTING AWAY, BUT WE
HAVE THIS INTERIM TESTING BEFORE
SOME OF THE TESTING GOES AWAY.
THE THIRD GRADE RETENTION LAW,
WHICH IS A HUGE ISSUE THAT THE
LEGISLATURE STILL NEEDS TO
ADDRESS.
ALL OF THESE THINGS ADD TO THE
FACT THAT TEACHERS ARE
UNDERPAID, STRESSED OUT, AND NOW
WITH ALL OF THE BUDGET CUTS,
STRETCHED TOO THIN.
I HAD AN E-MAIL THIS WEEK FROM A
PRINCIPAL ABOUT 27 KIDS IN A
KINDERGARTEN CLASSROOM.
WE HAVE ANOTHER SCHOOL WHERE WE
HAVE 31 IN A KINDERGARTEN
CLASSROOM.
LOOKING FOR TEACHER ASSISTANCE
FOR THAT BECAUSE THE KIDS ARE
STILL COMING TO US.
IT'S HARD TO FIND QUALIFIED
TEACHERS AND IT'S HARD TO FIND
TEACHERS WHO WANT TO STAY UNDER
THOSE CIRCUMSTANCES.
ANCHOR: SURE.
THEY CAN GO TO TEXAS AND GET
PAID A WHOLE LOT MORE MONEY AND
THEY HAVE THE PROPER FUNDS TO
SUPPORT THEM.
AS SOMEONE WHO DOES HAVE THEIR
P.H.D. IN EDUCATION
ADMINISTRATION, YOU'RE THE
EXPERT HERE.
WHAT DO YOU THINK NEEDS TO BE
DONE?
DO WE NEED TO TRIM A LITTLE BIT?
DO WE NEED CONSOLIDATE DISTRICTS
TO SAVE MONEY AND GIVE TEACHERS
A RAISE?
WHAT CAN BE DONE?
QUITE A DIRE SITUATION.
>> I THINK CONSOLIDATION IS A
FALSE SOLUTION THAT SOME
LEGISLATORS PUT OUT THERE
SOMETIMES BECAUSE IF YOU LOOK AT
IT, WE WOULD HAVE THE SAME
NUMBER OF KIDS, WE'D BE SPENDING
THE SAME NUMBER OF DOLLARS.
AS A STATE, OUR PER-PUPIL
EXPENDITURES WOULD BE THE SAME.
I'VE BEEN A RURAL SUPERINTENDENT
IN A DISTRICT THAT HAD 300
STUDENTS.
SO I KNOW THAT YOU'RE TALKING
ABOUT PEOPLE WHO DON'T GET PAID
A LOT AND THEY ARE WEARING
MULTIPLE HATS AND DOING MULTIPLE
JOBS.
I DON'T THINK THAT SOLVES THE
PROBLEM.
THERE ARE PROBABLY SOME
DISTRICTS HURTING FOR MONEY AND
WILL HAVE TO ANNEX OVER THE NEXT
FEW YEARS.
POLITICALLY, I THINK IT'S HARD
TO GET THAT THROUGH THE
LEGISLATURE BECAUSE EVEN IF IT
WAS THE BEST IDEA OUT THERE, YOU
HAVE A LOT OF PEOPLE WHO HAVE TO
PROTECT THEIR HOMEFRONT, THE
COMMUNITIES THEY REPRESENT.
AND YOU JUST HAVE A LOT OF
LEGISLATORS THAT ARE IN SMALL
RURAL COMMUNITIES.
ANCHOR: NO ONE WANTS TO SEE
THEIR DISTRICT GO AWAY.
NO ONE WANTS TO SEE THEIR
SUPERINTENDENT LOSE THEIR JOB.
BUT EDUCATION IS GETTING A LOT
OF MONEY RIGHT NOW.
THEY GET HALF OF OUR TAXPAYER
DOLLARS.
IT'S NOT LIKE A SHORTAGE OF
MONEY NECESSARILY.
IT'S JUST MAYBE THE SPENDING IS
OFF.
THE SECOND-MOST EXPENSIVE THING
IS TRANSPORTATION.
CONSOLIDATION COULD TAKE CARE OF
TRANSPORTATION COSTS.
>> I THINK IT WOULD INCREASE
TRANSPORTATION COSTS.
ANCHOR: BECAUSE THEY --
>> WE HAD BUS ROUTES IN MEDFORD
THAT WERE AN HOUR LONG THAT
WOULD PICK UP MAYBE 30 KIDS, GO
A MILE DOWN THIS ROAD AND GO TO
THE NEXT ONE.
I THINK TRANSPORTATION BECOMES
EVEN A BIGGER ISSUE I
CONSOLIDATION.
I KNOW THAT THERE ARE AREAS
WHERE IT WOULD WORK.
I DON'T KNOW THAT IT CHANGES THE
OVERALL FUNDING PICTURE.
EDUCATION CHAIR INCREASED.
50 IS TOTAL EDUCATION.
K-12 IS ABOUT 34% OF THE STATE
BUDGET.
SO I THINK THAT T STATE --
WITH THE STATE BUDGET SHRINKING,
IT'S STILL A LOSS.
WE RECEIVED LESS MONEY THAN LAST
YEAR.
WE CUT $5 MILLION FROM THE
BUDGET IN MID-DEL.
WE'RE STILL HURTING FOR MONEY
AND LOOKING AT THE NEXT ROUND OF
CUTS.
ANCHOR: WE ARE RUNNING OUT OF
TIME.
IF YOU COULD TELL ME IN ONE
SENTENCE WHAT YOU THINK THE
SOLUTION WOULD BE TO THIS, WOULD
IT BE MORE MONEY?
>> I THINK STATE NEEDS TO LOOK
AT WAYS TO GENERATE MOR
REVENUE.
>> ANYTHING WHO HASN'T SEEN
INNOVATION HASN'T BEEN PAID
ATTENTION.
WE ARE MORE STUDENT-CENTERED
THAN EVER.
WE NEED MORE POSITIVE WHEN IT
COMES TO EDUCATION.
IT IS A LITTLE BIT OF AN
EDUCATION CRISIS.
BUT I LIKE THE POSITIVITY ON

8 Years Of Obama – The Good, The Bad, And The Ugly - Duration: 5:22.
Well, President Obama's term is at an end, so I think now is obviously a good time to
look back at what we have seen from President Obama over the last eight years.
Now, I want to start by saying something that I have said repeatedly, and that is that I
truly believe that President Obama, as far as any president of the last 50 years goes,
with the exception of maybe Jimmy Carter, is truly a good, good person, Jimmy Carter
being the other one who was obviously truly just a good person at heart.
Obama has been scandal-free.
There have been no accusations of any kind of sexual escapades, no doubt that the man
is a good husband, a good father.
He is truly a good person.
Now, having said that, he has made a lot of mistakes as President in terms of staying
in touch with the people, with the Progressives, with the people who put him in office, with
the young voters and everything like that.
He has not taken on Wall Street, and again I can't say, "He has not."
He did not.
Time's up.
It's over.
Wall Street is just as corrupt today as the day that President Obama came into office.
We are no closer to gun control today than we were on Obama's first day, than we were
after the 200 school shootings that took place between 2013 and 2016.
Nothing was done.
Things were attempted.
Big speeches were given.
Tears were wiped away from eyeballs and that was about it.
We never saw real action.
The same goes for climate change.
President Obama talked a big game, more so than any other president in history, and then
really, when you look at it on paper, did nothing.
Any environmental gain we made under President Obama was negated by the administration's
reliance on fossil fuels and their willingness to give fossil fuel companies everything they
wanted.
The Clean Power Plan, probably the most ambitious environmental agenda ever pursued by an administration,
was immediately negated by Obama administration leasing out new areas for coal exploitation.
The amount of coal that will come out of those new leases is enough to emit enough carbon
to completely obliterate any gains that would be made under the Clean Power Plan, according
to analysts.
Really, his signature thing that he accomplished was the Affordable Care Act, and today, for
the last couple of weeks, for the last few years really, Republicans are trying to dismantle
that.
Why?
One, because it was put in place by a Democrat and, two, because they want to give 400 families
in the United States a tax break because that's the only thing that repealing Obamacare will
do in addition to kicking tens of millions of people off of their health insurance, it's
going to give 400 wealthy families a tax break, and that is enough to make the Republicans
want to repeal it.
He's done some good things.
The recent commutation of Chelsea Manning's sentence was a good thing.
The fact that he ignored Don Siegelman, did not give him a pardon, still bothers me.
This was a man who was politically targeted by Karl Rove for selective prosecution for
something that wasn't even a crime because they wanted to take back the governorship
of the state of Alabama.
That's why Don Siegelman is sitting in prison.
I know he gets released in a few months anyway.
Obama still should have issued a pardon to get this man out of prison.
He never belonged there in the first place.
The list of disappointments could go on, but when you look at what we have coming to replace
Obama, Donald Trump, it's easy to look back at Obama and say, "There was a good man, a
good president."
To be honest, that's unfortunate.
We need to look at Obama for what he was.
He was a good man.
He was a mediocre president, but because he has such a horrible person coming in behind
him who is undoubtedly going to be one of the worst presidents in US history, Obama
is going to get the benefit of being compared to him, so he's going to go down as a great
president simply because the guy that came before him and the guy that came after him
are going to go down as two of the worst presidents in United States history.

كامل بدوي - عالم الثعابين - من العالم Kamel Badawi - World of Snakes -From World (64) - Duration: 14:11.
welcome
We talked about popular tradition in some countries
Each country of the world has its own popular tradition
Sometimes it is taken from the ancient civilizations
Such as Pharaonic civilization from which the Egyptians took lot of things
Such things are All over the world
Festivals and celebrations for snakes vary from country to country, according to the culture
There are some festivals that are made just for fun like those of the Chinese zodiacs
In any one of these zodiacs that we talked about in a special episode
very big celebrations are made everywhere
The Serpent is to be everywhere and in everything
In Japan they have a festival called White Snake festival
They celebrate that and make special festivals, dancing, joy, happiness
After finishing with the festival, a celebration with kites resembling snakes is on
It differs depending on the country, there are some festivals or rituals made for snakes considering them as Gods
Like temples in India and others
There are cultural, educational festivals about snakes, such festivals are made in Europe and America
A Kind of awareness for people to familiarize them with snakes and animals in general
Temples are spread in South and Southeast Asia
For example in Penang in Malaysia, there's a temple that's called the blue clouds temple
A temple which has a lot of venomous snakes
People go to see it, and some rituals are to be made
It is said the temple used to be a hermit's house
He used to welcome his guests who come to him which are snakes
In India in Hyderabad, there a festival known as Nag Panchami
People come out a week before the celebration and hunt snakes
They are provided with food, milk and bananas
a special ceremony is made in which we find colors, flowers and weird rituals
It might reach the point of having a prayer, and we talked about that in the civilizations episode
After finishing the festival, the snakes are set free in nature
It's a sacred thing that shouldn't be killed
This festival is made annually with the same ritual
Things around the world are too many and hard to collect
Some say they discovered a cure from snakes, they include it in everything and we talked about that in the treatment episode
They say they found a cure from the venom of snake for Aids and cancer, Corona and other diseases
There's an obsession in the world about snakes, they believe in lots of things in it
There are restaurants and cafe in which the snake is an essential part
You sit on the table and find a snake in front of you and in everything around you
As a new experience for people
This theme spread dramatically as a kind of public attraction
Heritages vary according to countries and according to culture, including religious or material culture
In Indonesia there's a large farm for huge snake's skins, raised for that purpose
A theory that's called the transformation theory has been released, what is this transformation?
Human being change from a state to another and everything else does
The snake does that too, it transform from a snake to
Boots or a bag which is odd
We kill a snake to make from his skin boots to wear, one or 10 times then we throw in the trash
These are some of the things in the world
Is an Obsession with this subject that a person is carrying bag of snakeskin, or wear something made of snake
In America a city called Sweetwater in Texas
in which a festival of rattle snakes is celebrated
It collects more than 30000 snake
These festivals are held, it's killed and cooked, and it enters some industries
This is a source of income and we already talked about benefits of snakes in a previous episode
The snake's tray, the tray with dates, very special with the snake inscription in it
Its shape is special and weird, it is well known in the Palestinian popular tradition and it is taken from the Christian heritage
There are many things similar to that such as snakes restaurants
Special dishes which the snake meat is the key part of it
It exists around the world, it is more likely in South and Southeast Asia
A Chinese quote says: food that does not kill you. Will benefit you
The belief that the meat of snakes, especially poisonous ones strengthens the person and cures many diseases
There is a special soup called Serpent soup
It Is special, whoever drinks it will certainly feel the difference
All of this and other, people live with it and believe in it
Snake meat is like other meat, but the snakes possesses many bony vertebrae then their meat is not much
in the city of (Cocullo) in Italy there's a festival where the Reverend Dominique is Sanctified
In this festival snakes are gathered and the Reverend statue is brought, and snakes are placed on the statue
The processing walks in the streets but it is important that the snakes remain on the statue and do not fall to the floor
If it's dropped it's a bad omen
It's a big festival that the majority of the city residents participate in
People go to watch this festival and enjoy its rituals
Vodo heart of Benin, hold ceremonies about snakes in it
The snakes are to be worshipped and we talked about that
A festival called (Nerdilsek), a poly-activities ceremony, one that includes snakes
The (Waaro Agira) in new Guinea
A festival in which the snake is worshipped, it hold ceremonies and dances
They bring a huge snake, slaughter it and celebrate with its meat
In japan the (Ikawani Misury) is a celebration of the white snake
This festival is to be held in lots of countries such as Malaysia and Indonesia
In India , in (Beachabo)r city a festival called (chah ban Kobla bour)
A Festival which contains special rituals for snakes
Festivals like this one such as (Naj Afaya)
The Del San Pedro in Peru
(Brahmot Sava) in India, the (Ibiza) festival in Europe
The snakes have entered the all world traditions, dramatically
The important thing is knowing that snakes exist in many shapes
It is important to think of what we see, and what is the origin of these things
And why has the snake reached this level, like being some kind of God
The snake as I mentioned and repeat always, is just an animal
There is nothing weird in it
People try to look for what suits them, worship that, celebrate that and include it in everything
We finish this with a simple joke and that is comparing India with our Arab world
In India if someone sees a snake, he asks it with kindness and respect to leave the house
In the Arab world if we see a snake and if it was 1 cm tall
A war and a celebration that everyone participates in, will take place to destroy it
I hope that we possess a kind of awareness and culture, and that we protect the environment because it's part of our lives
I wish you safety
Thank you

Berkeley Innovation in cancer and infectious disease research - Duration: 3:11.
(soothing, harmonic music)
- [Russell] At Berkeley we don't have a hospital
or cancer patients.
What's unique about what we're doing here
is that we're really interested in understanding
the basic mechanisms about how the body works.
One of the interesting ideas that has emerged at Berkeley
is that perhaps we can use what we've learned about
how the immune system fights infections to help us
better fight other diseases like cancer.
One of the biggest breakthroughs that has happened
here at Berkeley is work done by Jim Allison in the 1990's.
That there are molecules that put the brakes on
the immune response and prevent it from functioning.
So by removing those brakes, we can unleash the
immune system to attack cancer.
My lab is mainly interested in the problem of
infectious disease.
One of the things that we discovered
is that it might also be possible to,
instead of taking the brakes off,
actually push on the accelerator.
There are special molecules called cyclic dinucleotides
made naturally by bacteria that can supercharge
the immune response.
Other researchers and companies locally at Berkeley
are taking these molecules and trying to
apply them for the treatment of cancer.
These molecules can be isolated
and injected directly into tumors.
They cause the tumors to melt away.
Conversely, these molecules may also be useful
for treating other kinds of diseases.
- Two billion people worldwide are
infected with tuberculosis and 1.5 million people
die every year from this disease.
We've taken some of these molecules that were
really developed for cancer and have applied them
to tuberculosis infection and have found that
they are pretty good at eliciting immune responses
that can be protective against tuberculosis infection.
People have actually been doing research
on tuberculosis since the 1800's.
For a hundred years we really made very little progress.
But now we're in a time with these new techniques
for manipulating the immune response that have come
out of other fields.
It's really exciting to be able to apply these
technologies in TB and I think that they are really
going to enable us to make huge progress.
What was really exciting for us is in the very first
experiment we did, we saw that they were as effective
as anything else that has been developed to date.
- When we began our studies, we had no thoughts at all
about trying to treat cancer.
And it's really been just one of those
accidental discoveries that has been really exciting
to be a part of.
- My primary motivator is just the excitement of
discovery and figuring out how things work.
When you work on a disease like tuberculosis,
you always have to also think about what do we need
to learn in order to eliminate tuberculosis
from the planet.
- Really this has been one of the major breakthroughs
in cancer therapy in the last decade.
And it all started here, at Berkeley.

13 Haunted Places In The World - Duration: 8:52.
Elite Facts Presents
13 Haunted Places In The World
13.
The Whaley House, California Author deTraci Regula states that: "Over
the years, while dining across the street at the Old Town Mexican Cafe, I became accustomed
to noticing that the shutters of the second-story windows (of the Whaley House) would sometimes
open while we ate dinner, long after the house was closed for the day.
On a recent visit, I could feel the energy in several spots in the house, particularly
in the courtroom, where I also smelled the faint scent of a cigar, supposedly Whaley's
calling-card.
In the hallway, I smelled perfume, initially attributing that to the young woman acting
as docent, but some later surreptitious sniffing in her direction as I talked to her about
the house revealed her to be scent-free."
12.
Eastern State Penitentiary Opened in 1829, Eastern State is considered
to be the first true penitentiary.
Its revolutionary system of incarceration, dubbed the Pennsylvania System, originated
and encouraged solitary confinement as a form of rehabilitation.
In June of 2007, a well known tv show by the name of "Most Haunted" went live to the
penitentiary.
Two of the crew members passed out while "investigating" the prison.
The have claimed this building to be "The most evil place that they've ever been".
11.
Borley Rectory , Essex England Throughout the 1920s and 1930s, Borley Rectory
is without a doubt one of the most famous haunted buildings in Britain.
The wealth of sightings and experiences by independent witnesses, suggests that although
much of the phenomena can be explained in rational terms, a percentage remains which
can still be seen as inexplicable at the present time.
10.
The Myrtles Plantation, Louisiana Built in 1796 by General David Bradford, The
Myrtles Plantation is know as "one of America's most haunted homes", as it has been said
that the plantation is supposedly home of at least 12 ghosts.
It has also been reported that 10 murders occurred in the house, but historical records
only indicate the murder of William Winter.
Possibly the most well known of the Myrtles supposed ghosts, Chloe was reportedly a slave
owned by Clark and Sara Woodruff.
9.
Waverly Hills Sanatorium, Kentucky Waverly Hills Sanatorium, located in Louisville,
Kentucky, opened in 1910 as a two-story hospital to accommodate 40 to 50 patients who have
tuberculosis.
In media, it has been said to be the "most haunted" hospital in the U.S. Shows such
as "Scariest Places on Earth, "Celebrity Paranormal Project" and "Ghost Hunters
have all covered this hospital and all of its paranormal activities including unexplained
shadows, screams and isolated cold spots.
8.
Hotel Chelsea, New York A bohemian landmark the Hotel Chelsea was
built between 1883 and 1885.
Although it was the home of countless artists, authors, poets, and musicians, it is perhaps
best known as the place where Sex Pistols bassist Sid Vicious stabbed girlfriend Nancy
Spungen to death—Vicious himself died of a heroin overdose before the case could be
brought to trial.
Poet Dylan Thomas was staying at the Chelsea when he fell into his fatal coma; he died
later in the hospital.
But it's possible Sid Vicious and Dylan Thomas never left the Hotel Chelsea after
all; their ghosts have been spotted wandering its halls, along with playwright Eugene O'Neill
and novelist Thomas Wolfe.
Other guests have reported all manner of paranormal phenomena, from cold air to phantom footsteps
to lights that switch on and off at will.
The hotel has since went through renovation work
7.
Talbot Hotel, Oundle, England Fotheringay Castle was built circa 1100.
It had a colorful history, being the birthplace of Richard III whose remains were actually
found last year beneath a parking lot of all places, as well as the place where Mary Queen
of Scots was tried and beheaded.
By the 1600s, the castle had fallen into ruin and was razed, but not before parts of it
were salvaged.
Most notable was the castle's oak staircase, which found its way into the nearby Talbot
Hotel of Oundle, Northamptonshire.
Legend has it that Mary walked down those very stairs on the way to her execution, leaving
the mark of a crown on the wood from a ring she was wearing.
Even though she has been dead for over four hundred years, Mary has not slept easy.
Her ghost has been seen walking down the staircase, furniture has been moved around, and a portrait
of Mary has been known to leap from the wall.
6.
Fairmont Banff Springs Hotels, Banff, Canada Oh come one!
Look at this place!
It has haunted written all over it.
It looks like a modern mashup between Dracula's castle and an insane asylum!
Located high in the Canadian Rockies, the Fairmont Banff Springs Hotel calls to mind
a beautiful medieval castle in the wilderness.
The Fairmont management adamantly denies any ghostly activity, but stories abound.
One spirit frequently witnessed is that of a bride allegedly killed in a tragic accident
right before walking down the aisle.
The other, far more whimsical tale involves an elderly bellhop named Sam McAuley.
Sam so adored the hotel that after he passed, he continued to work there.
Guests report a white-haired bellhop helping them, only to vanish before they have a chance
to tip him.

videos them battle with dinosaurs and
stuff go ahead and check out the
playlist at the end of this video off
patrol places they are all in there and
they are off
ok right off the bat we going to start
off with one of the coolest paw patrol
vehicles in my opinion is da paw
patroller our jungle truck that comes
with Ryder and the answer it has working
sound and light
the top comes off that has a big cage
that swivels around for the cancer if
you want to see the full thing I check
out the playlist this video and then we
have three of their vehicles you have
Marshall and his fire truck here and
then you have zoom aah and his jungle
recycling truck here and then you have
chase and his police vehicle here and
then I have most of their building sets
to this is their off post office of
building set which comes with a couple
of the characters
this is like one of their sweet shop
offset that comes with some characters
the monkey and a couple of the paw
patrol characters and then i have one of
the coolest places their jungle monkey
playset which has off like flipping
doors here it's got sound you could flip
the screen and the sound changes to the
jungle sounds
it's got all working trapdoor here push
the button
it's got an elevator a huge snake here a
slide down here for the monkey the door
for the vehicles and that i have their
air rider place that i really like this
one it's got to handle you could I fold
it and fly push it for sounds of light
around that's the airplane sound and
then if you flip these up and get
helicopter stop
the propellers spin the cockpit opened
up you could fit a couple of characters
in there it's all we've got another one
of their building set then here i got
some more of their car sets you got off
Everest and her are explorers that here
to got calls that off all the front here
it's got around it rolls around
everything care who you could remove
you've got all roubles bulldozer hear
that comes with the rubble with sound
the front moved off the down the back
you have this big drill here then you
have a smaller rubble one here that also
comes with the rubble character moving
fraud
it's got a ah extendable back here with
the claw you could use to pick stuff up
I've got roubles post office at where he
could rescue some characters up here and
the doors open and everything a lot of
these are really cool because that chili
rescue their friends from drastic world
dinosaurs but it's also sometimes a
little scary too
I've got their big launch of play place
that this was really cool
are you by the racers it does come with
two other racers but you can find the
other one separate and then it goes
ahead and launches the mouth
I hear it's not going to do that great
against the bridge
I've got the full set up with the track
and everything and there's dinosaurs
that chase them around the track and
they got to get away
it's a lot of fun but here are give you
an idea you can like setup like Ryder
here and if you hit this here and
launches rider off and then you could
turn that and launched off the other one
here launch rubble and you turn it and
want Marshall turn it
and launch do much wow he went right
over the bridge you could turn it and
launch robo-dog and then turn it and
lost another do but with his
recycling truck and then I got two of
their pop to hear all places here are it
comes with like a regular dog so here
you would have like regular rocky and if
you turn him off super rocky pops out
the other side also um he's ready to
save the day and then you got the same
one with sky you got regular sky and
super sky and then you've got a bigger
Rockies recycling truck with sound and
light the frost moves up and down you
can open the back to fill it off with
trash and it comes with an off the rocky
here
ok and here i got some more recycling
with our truck right here i gotta do
much with her odd this would be like
maybe like over craft or something and
then I've got another Rocky recycling
truck except this piece here that fits
on the front that he could use to raise
up
you save off up from the building the
back drop it
then I got a couple jungle Explorer
vehicles here you've got rockin and his
jungle Explorer I mean trouble against
jungle Explorer beautiful
rubble on the double here telling Claude
back to pick the top and then here
you've got chased and his jungle
Explorer vehicle got like a little water
kid in the back and then I got their
training center place that you choose a
lot of fun got like cannon launched in
target a lot of different stuff I got
marshals pop-out truck set here so if
you pushed on the floor and a pop-up for
marshalls all doghouse into his fire
truck and it has found the role for me
if you do push it it will take off like
rolling and then integral profiles it's
really cool and then I have their
awesome train set with the motor right
train if you go ahead and push it down
I runs on batteries it will run around
the track it avoids an awesome rock
slide and then on top of that i have a
lot of different of their character set
they have like the jungle Explorer
character set the superheroes that the
sum of the animals they rest you got
like the flying
why tough one more stronger one
there's a plane drop one there's there's
just lots of them are just some of the
paw patrol pups have here they came in
the process so if you want to see all of
these and fun charity story adventures
