FLEXIBLE HOURS, OR PAID MATERNITY LEAVE, AND THINGS
LIKE THAT.
AND NOW IF IT'S MEN AND WOMEN, MAYBE EMPLOYERS WILL FEEL
THE PRESSURE TO CHANGE THINGS.
AND OF COURSE IT DEPENDS ON WHERE YOU ARE REFERRING TO,
BECAUSE THIS STUDY IS OUT OF THE UK, WHERE YOU AT LEAST GET
SOME MATERNITY LEAVE.

FIRED, BUT MAYBE YOU WILL GET THAT PROMOTION BECAUSE YOUR
EMPLOYER WILL BE LIKE, LOOK AT THE SKY, TAKING TIME OFF TO
BE WITH HIS KIDS?
I WANT TO GO GET HER DOESN'T HAVE A LIFE OUTSIDE OF WORK.
THAT SOUNDS LIKE ME.
THAT'S NOT LIKE YOU.
ONLY TWO ñ 8% OF FATHERS WOULD CONSIDER TAKING IT OFF IF THERE
WAS SHARED MATERNITY LEAVE.

THAT NEVER ENDS.
BUT THERE ARE NO EASY ANSWERS.
NO MATTER HOW MUCH YOU WANT THE EMPLOYERS TO BE ABLE TO
SAY, WORK 30 HOURS, OR TAKE TIME OFF AND HAVE A KID AND WE
WON'T JUDGE YOU FOR IT.
EVEN IF WE DON'T, A LOT OF THEM WILL.
OF COURSE, OF COURSE THEY WILL.
AND THAT JUDGMENT HAS EXISTED FOR A VERY LONG TIME FOR
FEMALE EMPLOYEES, AND NOW IT'S INTERESTING BECAUSE THE BURDEN
OF FINDING THAT BALANCE IS NOW SHIFTING TO MEN AND WOMEN.
