Oh, my.
Hello?
Yes.
Suho, is something wrong?
Hello?
Where are you?
Oh... Outside on a street.
What are you doing there?
Suho, should we go on a date?
Why are you here?
How did you know...
Answer me first!
I went on a blind date.
And?
I told the guy that I was in love with someone,
that I can't be with anyone else,
and that I was sorry.
Then why go on a blind date in the first place?
Mom said it was her wish.
I couldn't deny my mom her wish,
so I came.
But...
I think I've fallen hard for you.
The blind date made me realize
that I love you very much.
Why do I like a guy who's still immature,
prone to whining,
and very conceited?
Even though I'm immature, I'm very warm.
Agreed.
Even though I whine, I do what you want.
Agreed.
And it's not that I'm conceited.
I'm confident.
Agreed.
What did you do to deserve me?
Not only am I younger,
I'm very handsome.
This blows.
Love really must have blinded me.
I agree with that too.
Good grief.
What?
Let's go.
Where?
Let's just go.
Where?
Now, now.

Yeonmi.
Did you know?
Know what?
That your daughter has a boyfriend.
No, she doesn't.
It's not that serious yet.
But she is seeing someone.
No, she's not.
Your denial won't cut it.
It's put me in a tough spot for playing matchmaker.
Did Eunsu say something?
Yes. She told the guy clearly that
she's in love with someone else.
So the guy wished her well
and then they parted.

She's not picking up.
Can you tend the store?
Where are you going?
Home.
What a mess.
Why are you home at this hour?
Mom, is Eunsu back?
Not yet. Why?
I'm so upset.
Why?
She went on a blind date and...
Eunsu went on a blind date?
When?
Today.
What about that young lad who visited?
Isn't she seeing him?
Grandmother, your future grandson-in-law...
Be quiet. Come in.
They're here.
Mom.
What are you doing?
Hello.
Hello, Grandmother.
Hello.
Did you not listen to anything I said?
Did I not get through to you?
Mother, let's sit down.
I have something to tell you.
There's nothing for me to hear, so please go.
Mother, it will only take one minute.

Mr. Oh Eunsu very much.

Your name's Yoon Suho, right?
You remembered my name.
Thank you, Mother.
I know very well that you're a good person,
but I'm sorry.
I can't allow you to see Eunsu.
Mom.
You be quiet.
Eunsu is 32 years old.
She should be getting married, not dating.
And I'm sorry, but your job status is problematic.
Mom, that's not the case.
Suho's doing what he wants to do.
And he'll do even better in the future.
I have faith in him.
You may deny it, but this is what I see.
He's just a kitchen assistant.
When will he establish himself,
make money, and get married?
We just started dating.
Marriage is still...
Am I being like this because I don't know you?
It's because I do.
Mr. Yoon, you're still in your 20s, so you'll
be fine if you two end up splitting up.
But that's not the case for Eunsu.
When she falls for someone,
she falls deep and for a very long time.
So if this doesn't work out,
Eunsu will be the only one to get hurt.
I completely understand why you're worried.
Even I think she's too good for me, so of course
I understand what you're saying.
But the thing is,
I don't want a mindless fling with Eunsu.
I'm even considering marriage.
I'll pretend I didn't hear that,

Can't I even say I like him?

How will they live?
Things are different today.
Do you know how hard it is to be without money?

How to Leverage an Existing Case Study to Pitch a Different Niche? - Duration: 7:20.
It's standard business advice now. People say there
are riches in the niches. Meaning, that you have to find
a certain industry and sell into that
one industry to achieve massive success.
And I think that's actually true.
Experiment 27 is finding a lot of
success just selling into mobile app
development companies. So in this video I
want to show you how you can use your
existing agency case studies to frame
yourself as a niche business and win
more business.
This is a similar strategy that we're
using with our clients right now to book
them enterprise deals. So let's jump into it.
For a real example, I'm gonna use prolific
interactive. They're a mobile app design
and development company out in New York
City and we'll use them as an example. So the
first step is to identify a case study.
We'll go over to work page. Two things to
look for in the case studies that you
pick when you're doing this project.
One you want to find something that you
were amazing at. So if it's a
mobile app development you want to find one
that actually looks decent.
Some mobile app agencies, you have to take
whatever worked. Especially, if you only do
the backend and you're relying on
someone else for design you probably
have a ton of projects that don't have
very good design. So you want to make
sure that the design of the app is
actually good that you're picking. And then
number two is a project that generated a
ton of profit for you.
Meaning the industry and the type of
client are a good match for what
you're selling.
There are a lot of good starts here.
Sephora's clothing brand. Scott's
lawn care. HSN, home shopping network.
Alex and Ani. OPEN forum, more
finance. And the way that I would go
about picking these is... The second one,
basically finding an industry that's
going to buy. It's going to be huge here
and it seems like they have a lot of
clothing brands. So actually, I think we
should go with clothing and fashion
brands here.
So how do we get them more clothing
brands? First, we'll identify a specific case
study. I would
pick Sephora, but there's no link here so
we'll find one that has a link. Here's
David's Bridal. They built the David's
Bridal app. But again, point one you
want to find one that actually has
amazing work. Three stars isn't
too good. So this is better. Lululemon, 292
ratings, 4 stars. This is a solid one to
go with.
So now that we've identified a case
study. Step number two is to clone
this client. We want to find a
list of this type of company and
wherever they exist online. So lululemon
let's do a quick Google search and find
out what lululemon is. Yoga clothes plus
running gear. So they are a clothing
company. So basically just search clothing
companies US. Top clothing companies
United States. And here are the 10
biggest ones. And if you google around a
little more you'll find more and more
lists. So here's fashionUnited top 100
companies. So here's this list of a hundred
fashion companies and we've got a few of
them based on market cap, Inditex, LVMH,
Nike, TJX so this is our lead list. And
you can use any of the videos on how to
find contact information. I'll link one down
in the description below so you can build
this lead list. And then step three is to pitch.
So let's talk about how to structure a
pitch for a specific niche. The rhyme!
And then how to craft that cold email.
So let's jump into the inbox.
Okay, so here's the cold email script
that we're going to start with. Let's
target Dior first because they were deep
down the list. And the subject line is
something simple like from a fan of Dior or
about Dior and prolific. Something like
that.
[Reading the script]
Notice that this is
customized for luxury clothing companies
and the reason why this is, is you want
to make it niche enough that it seems
like your writing directly to the person
you're sending it to, but also generic
enough that you can send it to all of
hundreds of these fashionUnited companies
and not have them feel like you're
spamming them. And then the next part of
the email.
[Reading the script]
And we'll write those ideas in a second.
How would you feel about discussing
further let me know I can send over a few
times for a call. Thanks! Basic, generic
structure you can use that to pitch
your Fortune 500 leads. And now in terms
of the ideas. The reason why we're going
only to luxury fashion is we can take
those case studies from earlier and we
can make them pitches in this cold email.
So here we go.
The first one is this lululemon app.
Browse and shop for Lululemon gear from
anywhere. You're ready for all your
sweaty pursuit with technical athletic
clothing and accessories. Two ideas off the
bat are improving your ecommerce app
similar to what we did for lululemon
(4 stars in the app store). And then
you can even link to the actual app
itself.
You might also get value out of and then
we'll pick another case to link to.
Prolific, with what they did for this
company threadless is they helped them
organize their artist community. So that
could be something that we're pitching to
these fashion company. So you might also
get value out of an app that organizes
your community similar to what we did
for threadless. And obviously these ideas
will tweak. It's always good to get in
touch with somebody from one of these
companies and ask them what they want.
Normally, the best place to start is the
person that you're actually selling to
in the case study. For instance, if I was
working with, if we were working with
prolific we want to talk to somebody at
lululemon to figure out why they bought.
That way we can tweak the type of ideas
we're pitching and we can tweak the
actual examples to make them resonate
more. This is basically what that cold
email would look like though to these
companies. If you don't have case
studies or you have questions
on how to get that initial
case study there is a video coming out
in about seven days that's going to go
over what to do and how to get those
first case studies. So look forward to that.

Rex Tillerson Sẽ Đẩy Hoa Kỳ vào Bờ Vực Chiến Tranh với Trung Quốc? | Trung Quốc Không Kiểm Duyệt - Duration: 6:09.
On this episode of China Uncensored,
does Trump's Secretary of State want
war with China?
Hi, welcome to China Uncensored,
I'm your host Chris Chappell.
Job interviews are just the worst.
You're overdressed,
sweaty,
and trying to answer difficult questions like,
"Where do you see yourself in 5 years?"
And "if you were a brand,
what would be your motto"?
And of course the classic,
"Are you prepared to say that Vladimir Putin
and his military have violated the rules of war
and have conducted war crimes in Aleppo?"
Ok, that last one was a question posed last week
to Rex Tillerson,
Donald Trump's pick for Secretary of State.
It was at his confirmation hearing
before the US Senate Foreign Relations Committee.
Think of it as a nationally televised job interview.
One where you might make a slip of the tongue.
Like, suggesting that maybe the US
should take military action against China
by blockading their activities in the South China Sea.
We're going to have to send China a clear signal
that first, the island-building stops
and second your access to those islands
is also not going to be allowed."
He was referring to the Chinese regime
turning submerged reefs in disputed territorial waters
into this.
The Secretary of State is the United State's top diplomat.
And who says diplomats have to be diplomatic?
Rex Tillerson,
or as I like to call him,
T-Rex,
used to be chairman and chief executive of ExxonMobil.
But just because he's into oil,
that doesn't make him a dinosaur.
He's a hawk,
and he's going after China.
Building islands and then putting military assets on those islands
is akin to Russia's taking of Crimea.
Comparing the Chinese regime to Russia.
Can China hack that?
Let's see what they have to say.
Like the U.S.,
China also completely has the right to conduct
any normal activities in its sovereign territory,
and that is indisputable.
Because nothing is more normal
than building fake islands in disputed waters.
At least when those waters carry 5 trillion dollars a year
worth of international shipping.
Oh yeah, and oil and natural gas reserves.
Now ever since Barack Obama's Pivot to Asia,
the US has been increasing its naval presence in the region.
But to suggest an actual blockade of Chinese ships
from accessing their fake islands
is taking things to a whole 'nother level.
And while according to Reuters' sources
the US has the military capability to do it,
the consequences could be huuuge.
Yes, no one wants a war!
I mean,
sure, China is building military fortresses in the South China Sea.
But they "highly value" peace and stability.
Something about those quotation marks makes it seem sarcastic.
Anyway,
the Chinese regime's, um, peaceful ambitions in the South China Sea
have largely gone unchecked.
International pleas,
regular freedom of navigation tours by the US navy,
and even rulings from the United Nations
have all failed to curb literally any of China's actions
in the South China Sea.
Last month,
the Chinese navy even stole a US research drone
right in front of the US navy.
But hey, they gave it back.
So was T-Rex serious
about blocking China's access to those islands?
Or did he just get carried away
talking about a topic he's not that familiar with?
Which I've never personally done in a job interview,
but I, uh, hear it happens, sometimes.
Wait, what's that Shelley?
Oh, wow.
Apparently,
when Rex Tillerson was in charge of ExxonMobil,
the company signed deals with Vietnam
to drill in areas of the South China Sea
that overlap with China's territorial claims.
13 million acres worth.
That's a lot of acres.
So I guess he does have some South China Sea
experience.
At the hearing,
future Secretary of State T-Rex
also echoed Trump on China issues
ranging from trade, intellectual property theft,
and China's "empty promises" on stopping North Korea's nuclear ambitions.
Though he does seem to disagree with Trump on some issues,
like that more nuclear weapons for our allies is a good thing,
T-Rex wants everyone to have smaller arms.
Many politicians in the past on both sides of the aisle
have favored a more nuanced approach to US-China relations.
That has avoided military conflict,
but hasn't been very effective at stopping the Chinese regime.
This new more aggressive China policy by the Trump administration
at least promises to be interesting.
So, what does Xi Jinping think about all of this?
Well, it's...hard to tell.
But he is in the middle of a massive purge of political rivals,
and to survive, he needs to consolidate his power quickly.
He can't afford to look weak in his handling of US relations.
Especially when it comes to third rail issues like Taiwan
or the South China Sea.
So will T-Rex lead us to armed military conflict
in the South China Sea?
Only our future selves know for sure.
And since no time travelers have come back to warn us
of imminent destruction in World War III,
I assume everything turns out fine in the future.
Unless there's no one left to come back and warn us.
So what do you think about T-Rex's idea to blockade
China's access to their artificial islands?
And, if you were a time traveller,
what historical event would you try to change, and how?
Leave your comments below.
Thanks for watching this episode of China Uncensored.
Once again I'm Chris Chappell,
see you next time.

Ai Sẽ Thắng Trong Cuộc Chiến Thương Mại Mỹ-Trung? | Trung Quốc Không Kiểm Duyệt - Duration: 7:31.
On this episode of China Uncensored,
everybody's a winner!
Wait, what's that, Shelley?
Hi, welcome to China Uncensored,
I'm your host, Chris Chappell.
Trade Wars.
That's more than just George Lucas's unproduced spin-off
of the Star Wars prequels.
According to the leaked script,
it follows Jar Jar Binks as he infiltrates the Trade Federation.
Strange that it never got made.
Anyway, trade wars.
That's what some experts are afraid might happen
if President Trump carries out his promise to impose a tariff,
or tax, on goods made in China.
He blames China's unfair trade practices
for the loss of American manufacturing jobs.
Here today to talk about this issue
is the only person at China Uncensored
with an economics degree from Trump's own alma mater,
University of Pennsylvania, Shelley Zhang.
Thanks, Chris.
How likely is it that Trump is going to impose tariffs on China?
Oh, he's definitely going to do it.
Really?
100 percent.
How can you be so sure?
I'm not sure about anything anymore.
Ok, yes President Trump can be a smidge unpredictable.
But, railing against unfair trade practices
is kind of his jam.
In 1987,
he took out this full-page ad in the New York Times.
In it,
he criticized Japan for taking advantage of the US
with its weak yen and trade surpluses,
and suggested that we "tax" Japan and other countries
for the services the US provides,
like keeping the world safe.
Sound familiar?
I guess China is the new Japan?
Yes. Just a quick find and replace,
and he can still use the same speech
30 years later.
Ok,
so when President Trump imposes tariffs on China,
what effect will that have?
Will that start a trade war?
That I don't know.
It really depends on how high the tariff is,
and how broadly it's applied.
Trump has talked about wanting to impose a 45% tariff
on all Chinese-made goods.
Something that big would probably trigger China
to impose its own tariffs on American goods in retaliation.
That could lead to a trade war.
Of course, you could argue that China
already started the trade war years ago.
You know, when it did things like
artificially lowering the price of their products
through export subsidies,
stealing intellectual property,
and setting up ways to keep US companies
from competing in China.
That's definitely how the Trump administration sees this.
Well, more important than who starts it, is who finishes it.
Who wins the US-China trade war?
Experts are divided, Chris.
Some say it will hurt America.
Others say China will lose.
Meanwhile, Chinese state-run media say that
China would totally not get hurt by a trade war.
And, like, it's not going to happen.
Plus why would the US want a stupid trade war anyway?
Which means state-run media also think China will lose.
So what you're saying is, America wins.
Well, it's complicated.
Americans will lose in that tariffs mean
companies will raise prices on Made in China stuff.
So we'll have to pay higher prices on most stuff at Wal-Mart,
as well as things like appliances and consumer electronics.
But will tariffs bring American jobs back?
They might bring some jobs back.
But not necessarily the same ones that left.
Jobs might require higher technical skills, for example.
Low-skill manufacturing jobs
probably aren't going to come back.
Lots of those have been replaced by technology.
And US companies can just move to other Third World countries with cheap labor.
Like the Donald J Trump Signature Collection
has already started moving from China to other countries.
Yes.
Although in a recent speech,
Trump said he will give US companies tax breaks
and other incentives to come back to the US.
Tariffs could also create different jobs.
For example, in industries where China has a virtual monopoly,
like on rare earth minerals,
which are needed to make electronics.
Tariffs could cause a huge shortage in the short term,
but in the long term,
it could encourage American companies
to start mining rare earth minerals.
What about China?
Well, China has more to lose
because they sell us more stuff
than we sell them.
And in a trade war,
generally the country with the trade surplus
gets hit the hardest.
China could lose millions of export and manufacturing jobs.
And at a time when economic growth is slowing,
that could cause not only huge problems with their economy,
but it could lead to political instability as well.
After all,
one of the big reasons
people put up with the Communist Party
is economic growth.
Very true.
And if China loses more,
does that mean America wins?
It's not so cut and dried.
There are other things that would probably happen.
Like the cheap manufacturing that's currently in China
would move even faster to places like Southeast Asia.
And it might create a gray market
where goods are manufactured in China
but shipped to another country,
where they are officially exported to the US to avoid the tariffs.
Are you really saying that people will find loopholes to avoid taxes?
Anyway, I guess we'll have to wait and see what happens.
Well, we actually have kind of a test case.
What I like to call the Rubber Chicken Skirmish of 2009.
That's when President Obama set a tariff
of 35% on Chinese tires.
It did manage to save 1,200 US tire jobs
and increased US tire production.
However, tires also got way more expensive for US consumers.
And China raised retaliatory tariffs on chicken parts from the US,
which cost chicken producers about 1 billion dollars.
I'm glad that wasn't actually about rubber chickens.
I was starting to worry about you.
Would it help if I told you I didn't sleep last night?
No?
Ok, one thing to note here Chris
is that I have been talking about this tariff in generalities,
since Trump hasn't talked yet about the specifics of his plan.
However, economist Peter Navarro,
who's the new director of Trump's National Trade Council,
has defended the tariff.
He says that it would be applied not on everything,
but with a "flexible case-by-case approach."
And that tariffs would be used strategically
to negotiate with China.
Remember,
the Chinese regime is scared to lose manufacturing jobs—
because that could affect China's political stability.
That means the threat of a trade war
could be a powerful bargaining chip for the US.
So, if these tariffs are targeted to give the US
greater political leverage over China
and expose the ways the Communist Party
has gamed the system,
they could maybe get the Party
to change some of their trade practices.
And that would make the tariffs successful,
even if they don't bring back millions of manufacturing jobs.
So what you're saying is, America wins.
Trade isn't exactly a zero sum game, Chris, and...
Ok, you know what, yes, America wins.
Thanks, Shelley.
That's what I like to hear.
Go get some sleep.
And thank you for watching this episode of China Uncensored.
What do you think of the possible US-China trade war?
