Rey's Helmet in Star Wars: Episode VII – The Force Awakens

When The Force Awakens first hit theaters fans immediately saw the X-Wing fighter pilot

doll in Rey's home, but in another scene she places an old rebel helmet on her head.

The Helmet has the Star Wars Aurebesh letters "Resh," "Enth," and "Herf" on

the side of it and when translated into English spells, R , AE, H; which is pronounced Rey.

Don't get excited, this doesn't mean Rey was a fighter pilot because the markings on

the helmet mean it is from the Tierfon Yellow Aces, specifically Captain Dosmit Raeh, a

female X-Wing pilot. All of this just from a helmet!

Bomb Voyage in Ratatouille

Bomb Voyage is a criminal mastermind in the movie The Incredibles and he even escapes

Mr. Incredible's criminal fighting grips. Sure it's because of the interference of

a young Buddy but Mr. Voyage keeps that off his resume. Another item he keeps off his

resume is his work as a mime in France. In the movie Ratatouille when Linguini and Colette

are roller-skating by Notre Dame he can be scene in the background performing. Maybe

this was a disguise for a plot to blow up a famous landmark or a failed career move.

Alyssa Milano in Guardians of the Galaxy

There are many references to 1980's paraphernalia in the film Guardians of the Galaxy including

the popular troll doll and a very famous alien. This is not an alien from that galaxy but

a cat-eating alien from the 1980's sitcom Alf. Another nod to the 80's goes back to

Quill's childhood crush, Alyssa Milano. He named his starship the Milano after her,

looks like after all those relationships with aliens, Star-Lord still has a place in his

heart for the Who's the Boss? star and so do we.

WALL-E in Finding Dory

Hank became one of the fan favorite characters in Finding Dory and if you have seen the film

you know why. Another fan favorite character is WALL-E from the 2008 film with the same

name. If Pixar can figure out a way to make a spinoff film with Hank and WALL-E, we would

be thrilled but until then we will only have one scene. In Finding Dory, when Hank has

Dory suspended over a massive aquarium in a plastic cup you can see a WALL-E calendar

in the background. Maybe WALL-E units were just being built during this time and 700

years later his story will pick up again.

Pingo Doce in Ant-Man

In the 2008 film The Incredible Hulk, Doctor Bruce Banner works at a bottling factory in

Rocinha, Rio de Janeiro in Brazil, while searching for a cure for his condition. He cuts his

finger and a drop of his blood goes into the bottle killing a very recognizable elderly

man in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. This is how General Thunderbolt Ross finds his location and hunts

him down. In the film Ant-Man, when Scott Lang walks in the streets of San Francisco

you can see faded posters for the guarana soda but where is the warning label?

Luxo Ball in Inside Out

The Luzo Ball was in Pixars first short film and can be seen in every Pixar feature length

movie since. Some of the spottings are obvious like in Toy Story but others are hard to spot,

one in particular is in the film Inside Out. When Riley is playing with her imaginary friend,

Bing Bong they run right past the pall in the corner. Also, remember how Bing Bong is

part dolphin? Check out the dolphin drawing Riley is working on.

Big Hero 6 in Avengers: Age of Ultron

As Tony Stark prepares to head off into the final battle against Ultron and the Ultron

army he is left without JARVIS to aid him. So he shifts through a collection of AI programs

that he has created over the years. In the end he chooses Friday, a female-voiced colleague

but look at the other choices he had. One is labeled JACOSTA, which is a robot Ultron

creates in the comics and another is labeled TACASHI. Tadashi is the name of Hiro Hamada's

older brother, who created Baymax in Big Hero 6.

Iron Giant in The Incredibles

Elastigirl helps director Brad Bird drop an Easter Egg to an animated film that wasn't

even made by Disney. Bird is the director of The Incredibles and the director of the

Warner Brothers animated film Iron Giant; both critically acclaimed films. When Elastigirl

flies in a plane she identifies her plane to the radio tower. It stands for I G 99,

which also stands for Iron Giant, 1999. The year Bird's film was released.

Cars 2 in The Muppets

In 2004 Disney purchased the Muppets intellectual properties from the Jim Henson Company giving

them the opportunity to make their own Muppet films. Then in 2011 they did just that with

their musical comedy The Muppets. At the end of the film when the stars and a great deal

of extras perform a song and dance routine on Hollywood Blvd there is a billboard for

Cars 2. If that wasn't enough checkout the hidden Mickey in the fireworks! Looks like

Crazy Harry used his pyrotechnic skills for brand promoting.

Vision in Captain America: Civil War

The Infinity Gauntlet is given its unlimited power by having all six infinity stones in

the MCU. One of these stones is named the mind stone; the powers of this stone are near

limitless psychic abilities including telepathy and telekinesis. If you look closely to Vision's

head in Captain America: Civil War you will notice he wears the stone on his forehead.

This is bad news for vision since Thanos will stop at nothing to acquire all six stones

and complete his Gauntlet.

How to Set Up TrueShield & TrueSpeed | GoDaddy Help - Duration: 2:26.

If you bought a SiteLock plan that includes TrueShield, here are a few setup tips.

Once you activate SiteLock and designate the domain you want it to protect,

one of two things will happen:

either TrueShield will be automatically set up for you,

along with TrueSpeed, if it's included in your SiteLock plan;

or you'll need to run the SiteLock TrueShield Wizard.

Auto-setup occurs when both your domain and SiteLock are in the same GoDaddy account;

it can take up to a few hours to complete.

But if they are in different accounts, or auto-setup fails for some reason,

then it's wizard time.

How will you know?

Just check your SiteLock dashboard.

In your GoDaddy products list, locate SiteLock and click the Manage button for the domain you want to check.

Your SiteLock dashboard will look similar to this.

Scroll to TrueShield.

A green check mark means it's set up and doing its job.

A yellow exclamation point means it's not.

If the exclamation point persists for over 24 hours, or you see a Configuration Alert,

click the TrueShield circle to open the Wizard.

The Wizard has 3 steps: Manage SSL, Manage Routing, and add SiteLock Trust Seal, which is optional.

Each step provides explicit instructions to follow.

You'll be switching between the Wizard and your GoDaddy Domain Manager,

so be sure each is open on its own tab in your browser.

To do that, keep your browser open to the wizard, and then open a new tab in your browser.

This is the Google Chrome browser.

Yours may look a little different.

Navigate to your Products list in your GoDaddy account,

locate the correct domain name,

and then click Manage DNS.

Step 1 of the Wizard applies if you have an SSL certificate installed on your website.

The wizard will guide you through the process of verifying your domain ownership.

If you don't have SSL, move on to Step 2.

Step 2 is where most of the switching happens between the SiteLock wizard and your GoDaddy Domain Manager

— so again, be sure both are open on separate tabs in your browser, and just follow the wizard's instructions.

Once you've completed Step 2, you can complete the optional Step 3,

if you want to add the SiteLock Trust Seal to your website.

The seal tells visitors your site is safe;

it's a great way to build customer trust!

EP-0008 - How to Measure Fabric for Pattern - cross-stitch x-stitch needlepoint flosstube - Duration: 3:01.

Hello, and welcome to The Stitching Kitchn.

I'm going to show you how to figure out what size fabric to use for your pattern.

So many of them give you 9 by 12 ... 14-1/2 by 12-1/2 ... but they don't combine the two

or tell you "hey, buy a quarter of a yard!"

So, we're going to do some different things.

First of all, here's the Stitching Kitchn note paper.

It's on the website (www.BrushStreetDesignWorks.com) free.

Go download it so you can write this stuff down.

This is the measurement of a standard yard of fabric from a stitching store.

Or any standard yard.

A little bit more than a fabric from a fabric store but this is for stitching.

This is ... a quarter yard is eighteen wide by twenty-seven inches high.

A half a yard is thirty-six inches wide by twenty-seven inches high ... OR ... eighteen

inches wide and fifty-four inches high.

There are a lot of patterns that go this way ... right?

... not this way.

And then a natural yard of linen or evenweave equals thirty-six wide by fifty-four.

Very rarely will you need this large measurement or this measurement or even this measurement.

The average is eighteen inches wide by twenty-seven inches high.

So, doing our math on our project ... there are eighteen inches wide by twenty-seven inches

high.

Now our pattern is ten and three-eighths inches wide by sixteen point four two.

I always round up.

So, this becomes eleven and this becomes seventeen.

We add six inches ... three inches for each side.

So, the pattern ... piece of fabric we need is seventeen by twenty-three.

So, if you look at this, eighteen wide by twenty-seven high.

That will be the perfect size for your pattern.

Hi I'm Mike Stratta with Arcalea and today we'll discuss cart abandonment.

If you are selling services, or products of any kind, no matter how amazing your site

looks, you will have cart abandonment.

One of the top reasons for cart abandonment is unexpected changes in pricing, which usually

happens when consumers are shown shipping or taxes at checkout.

Another common reason for cart abandonment is when shoppers have to jump through unnecessary

hoops.

If your site requires users to sign in or create accounts to purchase, you've created

another potentially needless step, reducing conversions.

Shoprocket has a solution for commerce which allows consumers to purchase without ever

leaving the page.

If you're delving into conversion rate optimization for your digital property, cart abandonment

can be a high-impact, low-cost place to start.

The first step is to determine why customers are abandoning their carts.

There are a variety of tools that can assist in analyzing and testing your site including

VWO for tracking user paths to conversion and Carthook, which can recover emails from

partial checkouts for later nutritional campaigns, but a solid grasp of Google Analytics is all

that's really needed.

It's easiest to determine why people are leaving a site by looking at visitor recordings

in VWO, but I'll quickly cover some popular fixes that consistently lower abandonment

rates.

Price change is the first so show the total up front.

Build in tax, shipping, and any other fees into the sticker price to reduce variability

and build trust.

The tricky thing about sharing total price up front is that less consumers may click

through to the checkout page in the first place.

Instances like this are why it's so valuable to run A/B tests, and analyze user behavior

to see which variation is converting more.

Every extra form is going to cause cart abandonment to rise as well; less is more when it comes

to the checkout process.

This is a difficult line to walk because the more information we gather, the more valuable

a customer becomes.

One common solution is to require less at checkout and then send a follow up email once

they've converted to gather more information.

Receiptful is a popular eCommerce tool used to upsell and mine more information within

the customer's receipt… which is also the the most opened email in all of eCommerce.

So when it comes to checkout, get it all done in one page - and one more thing: one of the

most common mistakes made is the use of a finalization page.

If a consumer's shipping & billing information has been filled out and then they are taken

to another page to ask if they really want to make the purchase; expect higher abandonment!

And the third tip today is pay attention to trust signals!

If your eCommerce site is not entirely https, update this ASAP.

An SSL certificate is the most prominent, and easiest trust signal to display across

your site.

In addition to SSL, your checkout page should also have share a guarantee, or Google's

Trusted Store indicator.

And unless a user is taken to Paypal for instance to checkout, the checkout page needs to be

branded and provide the same visual experience as the rest of the site.

Continuity is essential, so make sure your UX, color palette, and design elements are

the same across every page.

The consumer journey should be continuously tested and improved.

Remember, conversion rate optimization should be more about data and less gut-feeling.

Develop a hypothesis and always test!
