Youtube daily Feb 22 2017

The telescopic doorframe pull up bars are great and versatile,

but they have a big disadvantage –

they don't allow you to do exercises like muscle ups.

This is why I tried making a simple bar that wouldn't have that issue.

In a local tool shop, I bought a shovel handle made of wood

and that cost me less than 3 US dollars.

It's 1.3 meters long

and curved a little, but that's not a big problem.

First of all I sawed off the end of the handle, and then drilled holes for the nails.

Not doing this could result in wood cracking if the nails are too thick.

Now I need to find proper tree setup.

After a while I found 2 trees in a proper distance

and started nailing the bar to it.

I prepared 2 nails for each side,

but eventually I nailed only one all the way in.

This setup worked great for pull ups and other not very dynamic stuff,

but the bar was a little too bendy for muscle ups in my opinion.

So I retrieved the bar the next day,

came back to the workshop and made the bar shorter.

I found another tree setup where I could attach the bar and started nailing it to the tree.

This time it was much more stable and I didn't worry about it breaking.

If you don't have a decent bar nearby,

this can be a good solution for you.

Thanks for watching and see you next time.

Scribbles on your SIGN. 🖍 | Storytime - Duration: 3:26.

Hey what's up Troublemakers! I'm Rod and

I'm Vince and we're self-deprecating

romantic pop rock duo RKVC! We're a band, we're

songwriters and today we're going to

talk about scribbles on your sign.

But before we get to that make sure you subscribe

to this channel if you're not already.

A couple of years ago we had an album

release show for our latest project at

the time. We had very little time to

promote the show because the venue was

booked out for months, but another artist

cancelled so we were able to take their

date. This date however was just a little

over a week away. Because of the short

notice we expected the gig to be modestly

attended at best. If all went smoothly

then hopefully we have an ok turn out

and maybe even make a few album and merch sales.

Things did not go smoothly.

In the middle of our soundcheck the box

office needed us to settle up on tickets

we had co-signed out. Normally, this was

no big deal. But this time it seemed a

little more urgent so we went ahead and

took care of that and got the extra tickets

turned in so we could get back to

soundcheck. But then the house manager

stopped us and told us they couldn't set

up our merch because there was no room.

This caught us off guard because we

always play this venue and we always

have room for our merch table.

This was our album release show.

How could our album not be out for sale?

As they were explaining the situation to us,

our phones were ringing and we were

getting text messages from friends and

family saying they couldn't get into the show!

At this point there were so many

complications that it felt like the

gig was doomed before the opening act

could even hit the stage. And it's all a

blur, but somehow we ended up dealing

with each of the obstacles. And when

things finally seemed relatively under

control and the opening act was

performing on the stage.

Vince went to go see his family to see how

they were doing and I went outside to

get some air.

I looked back and saw the sign on the

door for our gig and noticed that someone

had scribbled all over it.

I almost lost it. There were just too

many things going wrong. But as I took a

step back to process everything the

scribbling on the sign started to look

different and just like one of those

"Magic Eye" pictures from the nineties,

it all came together.

It wasn't scribbling at all! It was the

words "SOLD OUT" written over the sign for

our gig. So I went back inside and it

suddenly hit me: this place was packed!

It was beyond packed! Friends and family

couldn't get in because it had sold out in

the hours leading up to it. That's also

why the box office needed us urgently -

they needed every extra ticket to get

more people in that want to come to the show.

And there were so many people in

the venue,

that there wasn't any physical space to put a

merch table. It was all clear now:

close up, each obstacle looked like a huge

disaster. But stepping back and seeing

them in the context of a bigger picture

made us realize that this gig wasn't

doomed at all!

It was actually going very well!

Every obstacle was the kind we'd only encounter

things were going really really well.

Somehow, with very little time to get word

out about our show, we managed to have

one of our most successful gigs to date...

and by the end of the night had two more

big problem on our hands: we sold out of

merch and we'd made so much extra money

in ticket sales that we had to track

down each of the opening artists to pay

them more in the following days.

Sometimes it's really tough to see

challenges as a good thing (especially

when they're up close) but if it's the kind

of obstacle you'd only find on a path

that you want to be on, maybe take it as

a sign you're heading in the right

direction. And when someone scribbles on

your sign, it might be because it's a

better message than you expected.

Thanks for watching this video. We really

hope you liked it. If you did please hit

"like", share with all your friends and family.

Also, make sure you're subscribed to this

channel (if you aren't already). If you like

these storytime videos, make sure you

watch our previous two: "Nobody talks

about the middle" and "Two or more excuses"

and let us know what you think about those.

Oh, and for those of you wondering we sold merge by the edge of the stage.

50 Things From Star Wars Aftermath: Empire's End - References, Easter Eggs, Legends, and More! - Duration: 8:16.

When new novels are released, there are always a ton of cool little facts that don't really

fit anywhere in a video of their own that I still think are really interesting and worth

talking about.

So here is a list of over fifty small pieces of trivia from Aftermath: Empire's End.

Obviously, spoilers are ahead.

Emperor Palpatine referred to the Battle of Endor as a shatterpoint.

In Legends, this was an event or a point in time that could have serious implications

on galactic history.

Palpatine was prepared for at least the possibility of his death at the Battle of Endor, which

we can see proof of in the Shattered Empire comic.

The planet Taris is heavily featured in an early chapter and at least part of it is described

as a wasteland.

This could be a reference to the devastation it experienced in the now Legends game Knights

of the Old Republic.

Chewbacca's son, Lumpawaroo is back from Legends, but instead of Lumpy, his nickname

is now Waroo.

Maybe it used to be Lumpy but when he became a teenager he demanded that his parents call

him something else.

We are introduced to Niima the Hutt on Jakku.

She is different from other Hutts we've seen, described as more snake than sluglike.

Durga the Hutt is also mentioned along with his yacht, so they're back from Legends

as well.

Let's hope the Darksaber superweapon stays gone.

Jar Jar Binks was exiled and ostracized again after the Clone Wars because he was thought

to have colluded with the Empire.

I actually sympathized with Jar Jar and now I'm confused.

We've known since the first Aftermath book that Mon Mothma demilitarized the New Republic,

but the goal was for planets to maintain their own militaries that could form a coalition

should the need arise.

She wanted to decentralize military and power, not get rid of it entirely.

A prototype black T-70 X-Wing exists at this point.

Embo is still alive.

His Anooba, Marrok has passed away.

Dengar makes multiple appearances after joining a new bounty hunting team.

Boba Fett's armor is still in possession of a sheriff on Tatooine.

There's no sign of Fett himself, but I have to say the Sheriff is pretty badass.

B1 battle droids have autonomic repair mode, so given enough time and functionality, they

can repair themselves.

Gallius Rax has more advanced models of the red-robed sentinel droids seen in Shattered

Empire.

The Church of the Force took it upon themselves to return kyber crystals to their rightful

planets, often at great risk.

The Church of the Force believe that the Jedi in fact do not control the Force, but rather

they are conduits for it.

That sounds more like Chirrut to me, but hey they can believe what they want.

A reading from the Journal of the Whills includes the phrase "From a certain point of view."

So I guess Obi-Wan was quoting scripture to Luke to get out of lying to him.

Another church saying is "All hail the light, the dark, and the gray," which again alludes

to Star Wars storytelling moving towards a more neutral use of the Force.

When the New Republic Senate left Chandrila it moved to the planet Nakadia.

Nakadia is very different from Coruscant, Chandrila, or Hosnian Prime.

It's an agricultural planet.

It seems to be a concerted effort to not show preference to only the highly populated or

more snooty planets of the galaxy.

Mas Amedda was kept locked up in the Imperial Palace after the Battle of Endor.

As a child, General Hux was emotionally and physically abused by his father.

Hutts are strong enough to flip Lambda-class shuttles.

Or at least Niima is.

Imperial Loyalty Officers were taught torture methods by being tortured and broken themselves.

The Acolytes of the Beyond all received dreams and visions of ancient Sith.

We don't currently know why or how.

They have destroyed multiple red lightsabers, hoping to return them to their former masters.

Yupe Tashu is revealed as one of their leaders.

Perhaps other surviving members of Palpatine's advisors hold similar roles.

The young members of the Acolytes are further corrupted by Sith artifacts.

The Acolytes of the Beyond launch a coordinated simultaneous attack on multiple planets throughout

the galaxy.

U-Wings are still seen in service, but I think they would either have to be rare or new models

based on tweets by Pablo Hidalgo claiming that most of them were destroyed during the

Battle of Scarif.

Leia feels the light side of the Force in her unborn son, and she remembers a warning

from Luke.

He told her the brighter the light, the darker the shadow.

Leia also notices Han's restlessness, which is further evidenced in the book Bloodline.

The first generation of the kidnapped child soldiers we see in The Force Awakens are truly

terrifying.

They're like an army of Aryas.

Phantom Squadron makes another appearance.

It's possible the squadron could be named after Wedge's time in service with the crew

of the Ghost in Star Wars Rebels.

Mr. Bones gets a line directly lifted from HK-47.

Two years ago at Dragon Con I think I remember Chuck Wendig saying he wanted Mr. Bones to

be HK-47, but Lucasfilm wouldn't allow it, but take that with a grain of salt, I'm

going off a two year old memory right now.

TIE Strikers also appear at the Battle of Jakku, so the fighters weren't relegated

only to Scarif.

The Tierfon Yellow Aces are specifically mentioned engaging an AT-AT.

This could be the very important and necessary origin story of Rey's adorable helmet.

The cockpit of the Lambda-class shuttle doubles as an escape pod.

That was true in Star Wars Legends, but now that's canon too.

Lando and Lobot finish retaking Cloud City from the Empire.

Lando decides to give Ben Solo a fancy gun and a fancy ship as a present.

The Mandalorian Wars are mentioned again, this time as an example of how an inferior

fleet was victorious against a superior one.

In this case, the Mandalorians defeated the Old Republic's fleet.

Another example given is the Ghostfinder Fleet against the Sith Armada.

I have no idea what the Ghostfinder Fleet is, but I desperately want to.

For their help during the Battle of Jakku, Dengar and Embo receive full pardons from

the New Republic.

The Galactic Civil War is ended when Mas Amedda escapes his imprisonment and signs the Galactic

Concordance.

An assassination attempt on Mon Mothma's life unfortunately kills one of her aids.

Sondiv Sella, the father of Kor Sella replaces her.

The Battle of Jakku is commanded by Gallius Rax from a place called the Observatory.

There are multiple Observatories throughout the galaxy.

Each Observatory has its own recreation of the Imperialis, the Emperor's personal yacht

that was destroyed in the Lando comic.

The Observatory's primary purpose was to chart safe passage into the Unknown Regious

using information provided by Grand Admiral Thrawn.

The super star destroyer Eclipse is still around, although it doesn't sound like it's

the same as the one in Legends.

I believe it's name is the only thing carried over.

Still, it's very cool and it's currently in the Unknown Regions, which means it's

probably with the First Order by the time of The Force Awakens.

Ben Solo is born as the Empire officially comes to an end.

That's it for all the random facts from Empire End!

What are the Differences Between Medicare and Medicaid? | Humana - Duration: 2:10.

Today's question: What's the difference between Medicare and Medicaid?

Medicare is a federal health insurance program, available to most people age 65 and older,

and sometimes to those under 65 with disabilities.

Medicaid is a public assistance health insurance program, available to low-income or disabled

people regardless of age.

Medicaid is a joint federal and state program, where the federal government requires every

state to offer certain benefits.

Each state runs its own Medicaid program and determines eligibility requirements.

How do you know if you qualify for Medicare or Medicaid?

Let's get help from our friends Bob and Susan.

Bob just celebrated his 65th birthday and is looking forward to retirement.

He isn't disabled and is not considered a low-income earner, so he is eligible for

Medicare, but not Medicaid.

Bob can get his Medicare coverage directly from the government or from a private insurance

company like Humana that is contracted with the government to provide Medicare plans.

Susan is 52 and is considered a low-income earner, but the state she lives in has additional

eligibility requirements for Medicaid.

She recently had an accident that left her with a disability.

Because Susan is disabled and a low-income earner, she meets the requirements for her

state's Medicaid program.

Most of her health costs will likely be covered, even though she isn't 65 yet.

Susan might be eligible for both Medicare and Medicaid due to her disability.

Depending on the state, Susan may be able to get her Medicaid coverage from a private

insurance company like Humana.

Each state has different rules about eligibility and applying for Medicaid.

Call your state Medicaid program to see if you qualify and learn how to apply.

Now that you know the difference between Medicare and Medicaid, talk to a licensed Humana sales

agent to understand your Medicare plan options.

Trump Literally Hasn't Gone A Day As President Without Lying To The American Public - Duration: 4:21.

More than half of Donald Trump's supporters say that, "The media is their enemy," and

that's something that Donald Trump has echoed since the very first day he was sworn in office.

They said, "The media is the opposition party."

That's what Steve Bannon said.

Do you know why they said that?

According to the Washington Post fact checkers, Donald Trump has not gone a single day since

being sworn in as president that he has not lied to the American public.

Not one single day.

As of today, he has been president for 33 days and every day of this administration,

he has come out and said either a flat out lie, a falsehood, a misstatement that wasn't

true.

You name it.

Some days the number goes as high as 12 according to these fact checkers.

You don't have to just say, "Well, that's the media picking on him."

You've got the Sweden terrorist attack that didn't happen when Donald Trump said it happened.

The claims of voter fraud, all the alleged fake news, the fake polls, those are lies

and it's coming from the man sitting in the most powerful position in the world.

He can't go a day without lying and that's not some kind of attack on him.

That's not hyperbole.

That is literally what the fact checkers are telling us.

We have not gone a day without the president of the United States lying to us since Barack

Obama was the president of the United States.

Now they didn't say Obama's record on this, maybe it's been longer than 33 days since

the last time we had a president that didn't lie to our faces, but this is the kind of

thing that we should be outraged about.

We shouldn't be outraged about the fact that the media is covering this, like the Trump

supporters are.

We should be outraged by the fact that we have a man sitting in the White House that

can't tell the truth.

He is physically incapable of being honest with us, the American public, the people that

he was chosen to serve, not to rule over, to serve in the highest position possible.

Donald Trump works for us, not the other way around.

We need to demand better from our elected officials.

We need to demand someone who at least, at the very least, can go 24 hours without telling

us something that's not true.

I don't think that's too much to ask.

Even George W. Bush didn't lie to the public every single day.

I know we had one or two days in there where he didn't say a lie because he didn't speak

to anyone, but Trump's not like that.

It was hard to imagine when George W. Bush left office that we could ever have someone

as bad as he was, but now, in retrospect, hell, he looks pretty damn good compared to

Donald Trump.

That's only going to continue to get better for George W. Bush because if history is any

indicator, Donald Trump is going to continue to lie and deceive the public at every given

opportunity.

That's why what the media is doing right now, calling out these lies, is so important.

So to hell with the Trump supporters who say that the media is the opposition.

Yeah, the corporate media sucks.

I agree with you on that, but for different reasons.

They suck because they take their orders from Pfizer, from Merck, from Coke industries,

from Boeing.

The companies that like to push for war or more oil drilling or put dangerous prescription

drugs on the market.

That's my problem with the corporate controlled media, but I have no problem with them pointing

out Donald Trump's lies because that is something that everyone needs to know about.

Jeep Wrangler RedRock 4x4 Full Width Front Bumper w/ Stinger Bar (2007-2017 JK) Review & Install - Duration: 7:48.

I'm Ryan from extremeterrain.com and this is my review of the RedRock 4x4 full-width

front bumper with stinger and winch mount, fitting all 2007 and up JKs.

Today, we're going to talk through the installation of this bumper, which is going to be a fairly

simple one out of three wrench install that should only take you about an hour.

But we'll talk more about the installation in just a second.

We're also going to talk through the construction and a few of the features of this bumper.

This bumper is going to be for those of you who want to replace your factory plastic front

bumper for one that's going to offer more protection, as well as some additional features

and a more off-road look.

Now, because this bumper does have a lot going on, there's a lot of steel, these wings are

[fairly] large, it has a big stinger, this is going to be a little bit more of a love

it or hate it front bumper.

This isn't going to be a, "I kind of like that."

You're either going to really like this look or you're not.

For those of you who do really like this look, it's going to offer a lot of protection, a

really bold look on the front of your Jeep.

In my opinion, this reminds me very much of the European-style JK front bumper, where

the wings of the bumper came up to meet the fenders.

These don't come all the way up to meet the fenders, but you do have this very tall, pronounced

corner on the bumper.

Of course, you have your winch mount.

You have your stinger.

You have your D-ring mounts as well.

The only thing that this bumper doesn't have is factory fog light mounts.

But it does have a spot for other auxiliary lights, should you choose to mount them.

Now, because this is a lot of steel, this is going to be sort of an expensive bumper.

It's not going to be as much as the top of the top line, full-width front bumper.

But it is going to be more expensive than a stubbier front bumper that uses less material.

This bumper comes out of the box in a total of four different pieces, plus the D-rings.

So it has this center section, which is really more of a stubby bumper, the corners that

you bolt onto those, and then of course the stinger here, as well.

But it's important to note that this is not a modular front bumper in the way that, say,

a Rugged Ridge XHD bumper is.

You can't buy this base, and then buy the stinger or the corners, or have different

corner options, or different hoop options.

This is simply designed to be in four different pieces, but it is not a true modular bumper.

Now, all of these flat, steel stock pieces are made of 5/32-inch steel, which helps to

keep the weight down a little bit.

But as you can see, there is a lot of mass here.

This is not going to be a lightweight front bumper.

The stinger is made of 2-inch, 0.12 wall thickness steel, and the whole thing is covered in a

2-stage textured, black powder-coated finish.

Which is going to help resist rust and corrosion, as well as helping it to match a lot of other

off-road accessories, and those factory plastic, black accents that are already on your JK.

As far as features go, as I said before, this does have a stinger on it.

Now, the initial purpose of a stinger was if you were coming down off of a very steep

obstacle, and you're about to put forward that the stinger hits the ground first and

directs you to one side or the other, keeping you on all four wheels.

Or if you were to roll your Jeep, the stinger was supposed to be tall enough to protect

the core support, so you don't crush your [radiator], ending your day.

This stinger is very much a visual mod.

It is going to help to brush branches and trees, and shrubs out of the way if you're

running a very narrow trail.

But this is just bolted on.

It's not welded on.

It doesn't have any gussets.

It's not going to offer a lot of protection in a rollover scenario.

Some of the other features that are on this bumper, of course, you have a built-in winch

mount that's rated for 12,000 pounds.

So you're going to be able to put a nice, big, heavy winch on there.

Even if you have a big, heavy, four-door JK, you of course have your built-in [inaudible

00:03:48] mount, and this does give the winch a little bit of that sunken look.

The winch mount sits down a little bit.

You're still going to see some of the drum up over the top.

But it does give it a fairly clean look.

Now, you do have two D-ring mounts that are welded directly through and bolt directly

into the frame horns on the other side, giving it a really strong connection point.

That's really useful for the snap strap recoveries.

Or even if you do have a winch, and you want to be able to go to a snatch block and back

to your Jeep again, essentially doubling the pulling power of your Jeep, you have those

D-ring mounts accessible.

Along the front, you do have some holes drilled.

This really is more for style.

It helps to keep the weight down a little bit.

They're not fog light mounting holes.

Although, if you wanted to get really creative, I'm sure you could figure a way to mount some

auxiliary lights in there.

So we hit pretty much all of the features of this bumper, aside from these big corners

here, which isn't really a feature.

It's more of a styling cue.

But it is what makes this bumper sort of different from a lot of the other bumpers on the market,

and it will definitely set you apart from some of the others.

Now, if you are running a big tire, chances are this big corner is probably going to get

in the way for you, if you're doing some flexing off-road and you have 37s or larger.

In that case, I'd probably steer you toward the stubby bumper.

This is going to be for those of you that have a little bit of a smaller tire and they're

still looking for that end to end protection.

Even though this bumper does come out of the box in four different pieces, it's still going

to be a very simple one out of three wrench installation that you can get done in right

around an hour's time.

The first step is, of course, removing your factory front bumper, which you'll do by removing,

first, the splash shield if you still have one, then the frame cover up top.

Then, you can go ahead and unbolt the four bolts on either side that are holding that

bumper in place and simply remove it from the Jeep.

The next step is going to be assembling this bumper.

Now, I would recommend bolting the corners onto the center section and the stinger onto

the center section, as well as installing your winch if you plan on running one before

putting this on the Jeep.

You can certainly get to the bolts for the stinger very easily, because they're right

up on top, and for the corners while the center section is mounted on the Jeep.

But I personally think it makes it easier.

You can get behind it, get everything torqued down, get it tightened down how you want it,

and then install the whole bumper as one solid piece.

Now, this bumper weighs about 130 pounds, and if you're going to bolt a winch onto it,

you can be closer to 200.

So you're definitely going to need a hand getting the bumper onto the frame rails.

But that is going to be the way that I would recommend installing it.

Once you do have this hoisted up onto those frame rails, you can use the included hardware

to get it bolted down, and then simply attach your D-rings and you're finished.

If you are running a winch, of course, you'll have to do a little bit of wiring at that

point.

As I said before, one out of three wrench installation, you can get it done in about

an hour, and all you're going to need are your traditional hand tools to get this installed.

As I said before, this is a big, chunky, heavy bumper.

This has a lot of steel.

So you would expect it to be more expensive than some of the other bumpers on the market,

and it is.

This comes in at right around $600.

Now, at the same time, it's not going to have the price tag of a top of the line ARB full-width

front bumper with all of its features.

So this is going to be a little bit of a balance there.

If you like this look, you're not going to be able to get it in a lot of different places.

This is definitely a unique style.

So if you like the look, you like the features, you have the budget, I think it's a well-built

bumper and I would recommend taking a further look at it.

So if you're looking to swap out the factory front bumper on your JK, you like the idea

of a big, chunky, statement-making bumper, and you don't mind adding a little bit of

weight to the front of your Jeep, this is going to be a well-built and easy to install

option.

So that's my review of the RedRock 4x4 full-width front bumper with stinger and winch mount,

fitting all 2007 and up JKs that you can find right here at extremeterrain.com.
