Youtube daily Feb 1 2019

-Seth Meyers, everybody. Seth.

Dude, you're doing a great job over at "Late Night."

-Thank you.

-You got great writers up there, very smart, very sharp.

I like the bit -- Obviously, "A Closer Look."

We love those ones.

"The Kind of Story..."

-Yeah, a new bit, called

"The Kind of Story We Need Right Now."

-I love this.

-Well, 'cause politics can be a little depressing,

so we try to find a few things to just brighten people's day.

There was a story about a grandmother

who killed a bobcat who was attacking her dog.

We were like, "That's the kind of story.

You want to hear about that."

But then we -- This is a true story.

There was a guy --

a bachelor party gonna happen in Vermont.

They sent out the e-mail to all the bachelor --

sorry, the friends of the bachelor who were going to come.

And they accidentally sent it to the wrong guy

with the same name.

They got the e-mail wrong.

Like, probably Hotmail instead of Yahoo! or whatever.

And that guy who got it just wrote back, "I'm [bleep] in."

And they wrote back.

And instead of, like, "Hey, buddy, not cool,"

they said "You sound awesome.

Come."

And so this guy just went.

He started a GoFundMe, and strangers were like,

"Dude, we also want you to go here."

And then, like, local businesses got involved.

This guy, who -- He literally didn't know any of them.

They said, "Hey, send us a picture

so we don't know you're a creep."

And he sent them a picture of him

at 2 years old, doing karate.

And, so, then they were like, "We'll put this on the T-shirts.

That's what we'll wear all weekend."

And it was just like -- I don't know.

With everything happening in the world, you hear that,

and you're like,

"This is the kind of story we need right now."

-I love that. It's a good deal.

-A lot of fun.

-"A Closer Look" is a very popular segment on your show.

I watch it all the time.

If I don't see the show, I see it on YouTube or whatever.

How long does that take to do? -It's the whole day.

Like, pretty much the whole day.

And then, also, the day changes a lot these days.

-Yep.

-You know, what you think is the news on Tuesday night

is then not the news on Wednesday.

-Yeah, exactly.

-So, you know, we sort of chase it.

It's one of the things that makes it exciting, I think,

trying to be as up to date as possible.

But it's a lot of fun to do.

-This Tuesday night, you're doing a live show?

-We're going to do live after the State of the Union.

Yeah. -Wow! That's gonna be fun.

-We were supposed to be live, you know, last week,

'cause that's when it was supposed to be.

-Yeah, we were going to do it, too.

-And we had, like, a dinner party planned and everything.

-Unh-unh. Pelosi said "no." -Yeah, Pelosi said "no."

So we got to go live now.

-So, there will be a lot -- We'll get live reaction.

We're taping our monologue later so that we have topical --

-That's great.

I think it's always fun to do that, on nights like that.

-Yeah, it's going to be great. -Yeah.

-I want to show everyone a clip of "A Closer Look"

from last night's episode of "Late Night with Seth Meyers."

Check it out.

-According to Bob Woodward's book "Fear,"

Trump once told former Defense Secretary James Mattis

he wanted to take out Syrian dictator Bashar al-Assad,

but Mattis ignored him.

Trump called Mattis and said he wanted

to assassinate the dictator.

"Let's [bleep] kill him. Let's go in.

Let's kill the [bleep] lot of them," Trump said.

Mattis told the president that he would get right on it,

but after hanging up the phone, he told his senior aide,

"We're not going to do any of that."

It is amazing that you can just ignore

the President of the United States,

and he'll probably forget what he asked you to do.

He's like a dog who really wants a tennis ball.

If you just fake throw it and then put it in a drawer,

he'll forget about it.

-Yeah! Seth Meyers, everybody!

"Late Night" has a live show Tuesday

after the State of the Union.

Don't miss that special episode.

Danai Gurira Is Real-Life Besties with This Is Us' Randall and Beth - Duration: 5:13.

-I have so many things to congratulate you about.

This whole interview is just gonna be a gush of love for you.

First of all, "Black Panther," congrats on that.

[ Cheers and applause ]

-Thank you. Thank you.

-Everything about it.

Seven Oscar nominations?

-Yeah.

-Not too shabby, man. -Yeah.

-It's the biggest movie ever.

That's got to feel good.

-You know, it's amazing.

I mean, really, I think we're all just full of

so much gratitude right now because we just had no idea.

You know, you go into something, you just give it your all.

We really felt that we were trying to create

something special and new,

but we didn't have any idea of this type of response.

-The other night at the SAG Awards,

I saw you guys won for best cast, or best ensemble.

-Yeah.

-It must be fun to celebrate with everybody

that worked so hard on the movie.

-That was the best. I mean, that was the best.

We were all sitting there.

And you know, you just --

It was such a beautiful room of, you know, your peers.

And that was the beautiful thing, it was the SAG Awards,

so it was, like, your peers voted for you.

-Yeah.

-And it was like we all got to get up there

and celebrate together.

You know, Sterling's up there double fisting,

'cause he won two awards in one night.

-Why not? -Like, dang, Sterling.

But it was beautiful. -Good for you.

-Sterling's my big brother.

We went to grad school together.

-Oh, no way.

-Actually, not together.

He was -- he graduated just as I came in.

But it's like such a little family, my graduate school,

it's Tisch Grad Acting. Such a little grad--

[ Cheers and applause ] Yeah?

Put 'em up, put 'em up. NYU in the house.

So, Tisch was just like a family.

Everyone comes back.

So he'd just come back all the time and hang out.

So he became my big brother, really.

-How cool is that?

-And he reminded me the other night, we were almost roomies.

And I'd forgotten about it entirely.

He's like, "Don't you remember you were gonna come

live in Brooklyn in that room I was gonna rent you

and it didn't work out?" -Really?

-I was like, "Oh, snap." Yeah. So we go way back.

-Oh, really? -Yeah, yeah.

I was trying to get the rent down.

You know how it goes. [ Laughter ]

-But you also -- you also know this person as well.

-I do know that person.

-Susan. She's from "This Is Us."

-Yes, so that was really cool. She's also a Tisch NYU grad.

And we were -- she was a year ahead of me.

So she was there also with Sterling.

And that was really cool, because we --

you know, you have that person, your do-or-die, you know?

The person you went through the trenches together with.

And helping each other through,

when you're all, like, broke and trying to figure it out.

-Sharing ramen noodle soup with. -Exactly.

You know, we just went through everything together.

And it was just so cool.

Like, we both got that award that same night.

To have gone through the journey we've gone through

over the last 15 years together was pretty awesome.

-It's hard work. It's hard work. That's how you got here.

-Right, yeah. -You know, it's hard work.

Last time I talked to you, you were having a play

go to Broadway that you'd written.

-Mm-hmm.

-With Lupita Nyong'o, who we love.

-Mm-hmm.

-And did you guys both know that you were in "Black Panther"?

-Yeah, she was acting in "Eclipsed," actually.

And I was the playwright, so I was coming in and out.

And we'd see each other like several times a week.

We'd hang out, everything.

And I had heard that, you know, I had this offer.

And I was told, you know, hush-hush.

And I'm used to hush-hush.

-"Walking Dead."

-"Walking Dead," you know what I mean?

I don't talk about nothing.

So I was like, "All right, I'm hushed."

And little did I know she's right there hushed too.

[ Laughter ]

So, you know, we finally figured it out

when Ryan came and watched the play.

And we were like, "Oh, you know Ryan?

I know Ryan.

How do you know Ryan?" [ Laughter ]

And then slowly it came together that we're both in this movie.

-And then you close the door like, "We're in 'Black Panther.'

We're in 'Black Panther.' It's so awesome."

[ Laughter ]

-Which was so very awesome.

-'Cause you also work with Letitia too, right?

-Yeah, I knew Letitia

because she was actually in that same play, "Eclipsed"

in London in 2015.

And the same role that Lupita played,

which is crazy, right?

-Wow. This is bizarre. What a small world.

-And then when I was trying to cast another play of mine

in London, we all were like, okay, it's Letitia's.

And they were like, "Um, Letitia's not available

because she's actually gonna be in a film with you called --"

[ Laughter ]

We're like, "Oh." -Hush, hush, hush.

-Exactly. More hush-hush.

But, yeah, she hadn't told me that. We need to text more.

-How great is that?

What is the name of that play? -"The Convert."

And it was just -- she actually did end up doing the play.

It just closed on Saturday.

That's why she wasn't at the SAGs

'cause she was doing the play at the Young Vic,

which was pretty awesome.

She's amazing.

-What a great career you're having.

I'm so happy for you. -Thank you.

-I know we can't really talk about "Walking Dead."

But we have to.

[ Laughter ]

What can we say about "Walking Dead"? I know --

-It's a TV show.

-Okay, good. That's good. That's helpful.

-On AMC. -Yes. It's on AMC. Yes.

We can say there's zombies.

-There are zombies.

They're in dire situations most of the time.

-Whisperers -- -Not a lot of laughs.

But, no, right now, there's a major threat coming along

called the Whisperers.

And you know, we've seen --

they've already taken out one of our dearest and nearest.

And so it's a whole new enemy.

I mean, these guys function on a whole other level.

It's like a psychological, you know, madness,

how they figured out how to get through this apocalypse in a way

that we don't know how to address.

So, they can come at us in any old way

'cause they look like walkers.

Pixel 3 XL Review: After the Hype | 3 Months Later, Camera Worth it? - Duration: 10:20.

Hi guys, it's KJ the MiTechGuy here, and this video is all about the Pixel 3 XL.

And since this is an after the hype review, I get to review this phone in the context

of using a bunch of other phones since.

So today, I'm not really going to focus too much on the specifications, and instead,

I'll talk about what it would be like using the Google Pixel 3 XL on a daily basis.

Huge shoutout to Xcentz for sponsoring this video.

And let's get right into it.

The Pixel 2 XL made a lot of headlines last year because of the low-quality OLED panel

on a flagship device.

This year, the Pixel 3 XL made a lot of headlines because of its notch.

Leading up to the launch, people didn't even believe that the leaks were true because

the notch situation seemed so bad.

But unfortunately the leaks were very true.

The Pixel 3 XL's design isn't simply terrible because it has a notch.

A lot of phones have notches.

It is the fact that the notch is so large that it's basically the height of two notification

bars.

I just can't really believe that Google couldn't find a better implementation of

two front facing cameras and the speakers.

But outside of the notch, I really like the design of the 3 XL.

I like the two-toned glass back that now allows for wireless charging, and I appreciate how

well put together the whole device feels in my hand.

It's hard to explain.

And I also really do appreciate the fact that it's one of the only flagship out right

now that has dual front-firing speakers.

It makes it so that you're never blocking the speakers when watching any sort of content,

and that is a huge plus for me.

Speaking of watching content, the 6.3 inch AMOLED display is manufactured by Samsung,

so we can rest assured knowing that there is a high quality panel on Google's latest

flagships.

And in my use of the phone, I can say that the display is really high quality and is

up there with the other high-end OLED screens on the market right now.

Text is always crisp, while colors in images and video look great as well.

I've also never really had any issues with how dim or bright the phone screen gets.

Overall, I don't think anybody can complain too much about the new displays on the Pixel

3 XL.

Anybody who has been following the Pixel phones knows that they always produce some fantastic

images.

And everything has only gotten a notch better with the new Pixel 3's.

The 12 Megapixel single camera on the back of this phone gives the software enough information

to work with to create some stunning pictures.

It's like it takes the image, someone edits it, and it spits out a picture that is ready

to post.

Sometimes my friends can't figure out which photos were taken with the Pixel and which

photos were taken with my A7iii when they see the images on social media.

What really sets the Pixel's rear camera apart from the rest of the flagships right

now is its portrait mode.

I admit the colors don't always turn out the way that I would want them, but the overall

detail, clarity, and usually perfect background blur create some extremely high quality portrait

pictures.

And since it only uses software for its portrait shots, it can use that software for selfies

as well.

And now you can get even more in frame in your selfies because of the fact that Google

implemented a second wide-angle selfie camera to the front of their devices.

Even when I am reviewing other phones, the cameras on this phone have been so good to

me that I always have to keep the Pixel 3 XL on me in case I have to take a picture

of something or someone.

The camera is that good.

If you wanted to see how the Pixel 3's cameras compared head to head to the other top smartphone

camera systems right now, make sure to check out the camera comparisons I have up on my

channel.

These other smartphone cameras have gotten really good as well.

But whenever I go back to the Pixel, it still manages to wow me.

And since launch, Google has updated the camera to have a night mode, which works very well,

even in the worst of conditions.

It can even bring light to a completely dark environment.

This camera-focused device has got one heck of a camera.

To some people, that's all they had to hear.

They take a ton of pictures, and they simply have to have the best smartphone camera regardless

of anything else.

And honestly, I think that is completely justifiable.

But for the rest of you who are wondering if the overall package of the Pixel 3 XL is

a good device, let me tell you my thoughts.

This phone only has 4 GB of RAM, but I have never had problems with it slowing down on

me due in large part to the fact that the phone is running stock Android, which is optimized

for this phone.

I know other YouTubers have had problems with their Pixel 3's slowing down.

I haven't had those problems so far.

Maybe I'll encounter them the more I use the phone, but I'm actually pleased with its performance.

I'll admit that phones like the iPhone XS Max and even the OnePlus 6T feel more fluid

than the Pixel, but it isn't by much.

And if I hadn't used all three of those phones for an extended period of time, I would've

been surprised to even fathom that phones were capable of being smoother than the Pixel

3 XL.

Scrolling through various menus of the device and multitasking between apps that are open

have felt very fluid to me as of late.

At launch, there were some bugs, but for the most part, I haven't noticed anything out

of the ordinary recently.

The phone just works.

It works very well.

Although Google doesn't include things like expandable storage, a headphone jack, or facial

recognition the Pixel 3 XL's are finally loaded with the flagship features we have been asking

for.

As I mentioned earlier, the back of the phone is glass now, so we finally have wireless

charging on a Google device.

With the Pixel Stand, you can even wirelessly charge your phone while it works like a Google

Home Hub.

The back of the phone also has its perfectly-positioned fingerprint scanner that is very fast and

very accurate.

What's new to the Pixel lineup is the phone's IP68 water and dust resistant rating, which

gives you that extra peace of mind with your phone.

What hasn't changed is the fact that the new Pixel 3's remain one of very few phones out

right now that maintain dual front firing speakers.

I'll admit, the audio quality itself isn't as good as phones like the XS Max, but with

front-firing speakers, you won't cover either one no matter how you hold your phone.

Google even attempts to solve any sort of storage worries you may have by including

unlimited full-quality photo and video storage through Google Photos until 2022.

On top of these other features, the Pixel 3's can still tell you what song is playing

internally, and can even so much as answer your phone calls for you if you ever wanted

it to using its new call screening feature.

And the cool thing is every time Google comes up with a new feature or OS, they will debut

them on their latest Pixel devices first.

I wanted to quickly mention battery life because it's an important topic of discussion for

smartphones.

You don't have to worry with the Pixel 3 XL.

I am a very heavy user with my smartphones, and just like most of the smartphones released

recently, the 3 XL can comfortably make it through a day, but doesn't quite get you to

two.

You just have to make sure to charge the phone every night, and battery life shouldn't be

something you are going to worry about.

The Pixel 3 XL is a terrific phone.

The only thing is that its getting harder to convince people to spend almost $1000 on

a smartphone when we see what phones like the OnePlus 6T are capable of.

That being said, the Pixel 3's go on sale quite often, and at the time of me making

this video, the Pixel 3 and 3 XL are discounted to $649 and $749 respectively on the Google

store website.

So if you were ever thinking about pulling the trigger on a Pixel 3 device, make sure

to check to see if there are any sort of deals.

But even at its high original retail price of $899, I praise Google for actually including

USB-C earphones in the box, and also the fact that they include unlimited Google Photos

storage.

Online storage usually requires a pricey monthly subscription, and unlimited means you can

take as many photos and videos as you would ever want to.

Before I give my final thoughts and feelings about the Pixel 3 XL, I wanted to talk to

you a little bit about another cool product by Xcentz, who made this video possible.

Whether you forget to charge your device the night before or you just happen to be out

later than you had expected, a quality portable charger is something you should have at all

times.

This one from Xcentz is compact and lightweight so you don't have to worry about it taking

up any space in your bag.

You could even just keep it in your pocket.

It houses a high quality 3350 mAh LG battery inside of its very aesthetic aluminum shell.

It's smart circuitry delivers the ideal charge-rate for any smartphone.

It even doubles as a very bright flashlight so it stays useful even when its not in use.

Check it out through the link in the description, and use the coupon code below to receive 20%

off the charger.

The Pixel 3 XL happened to be released at the end of a great year for smartphones.

We have seen feature-packed phones like the Note 9 and Mate 20 Pro, while we have seen

OnePlus continue to make strides as they are even being sold by carriers now.

We have even seen the new iPhones really take huge steps to improve their camera systems.

So where do the new Pixel 3's stand?

To me, it's my favorite Android device.

Hear me out as to why.

First off, I can't recommend this phone to someone who doesn't have much money to spend

on a phone.

The new OnePlus devices can do 95% of what the Pixel 3's can with a design that I actually

prefer.

But because of my channel, I am in a position to be able to basically choose which smartphone

I want to carry with me at any point.

None of the manufacturers pay for me to pick or use any one device.

So for me, especially as a content creator, I hold a lot of value in a phone's camera

system.

And this phone's camera is incredible, and to me, is still the smartphone camera king.

And to be able to take an unlimited amount of photos and videos without worrying about

storage is invaluable.

The Pixel 3 XL may have a hideous notch that is double the length of any other notch I've

seen, but it happens to be a pretty well rounded devices.

It's fast, has the latest and greatest features from Google, and now has other top flagship

features like IP68 water and dust resistance and wireless charging.

I understand that it doesn't have as many features as the Note 9 or Mate 20 Pro, and

also isn't as good of a value as the OnePlus 6T, but I also recognize the fact that despite

all of this, the Pixel 3 XL has enough going for it where it has become my favorite Android

device.

Hopefully this video was able to help you decide whether the Pixel 3 XL will be worth

it for you.

Different people hold different features to a higher regard when it comes to smartphones,

so its understandable that given what I said, you still don't prefer the Pixel 3 XL over

other devices.

As for this video, that's all I had to talk about today.

If you aren't already, make sure to follow me on Instagram and Twitter if you haven't

already and DM me on those platforms and I'll try to get back to you as soon as possible,

and as for this channel, make sure you're subscribed and have the notification bell

clicked because I have a lot of cool videosthat I know you guys will like coming out in the

future.

As always, thanks for watching, and I will see you in the next video.

Testing Shield De-Sync - Rainbow Six: Siege - Duration: 6:28.

What's up guys, Rogue-9 here and today I want to talk a little bit about some of the

issues with shields in Rainbow Six Siege.

Occasionally when I use a shield, it feels like I die from being shot straight from the

front (which of course should not be possible except when getting shot in the hand).

So I went ahead and spent some time in custom games running some tests and many thanks to

YouTube user Dtron UFE for initially making me aware of one of the current bugs with shields

with a video he created.

What he showed me really is and odd bug, let me show you what I mean.

Ok, but first off, dying while using a shield and facing towards the enemy can of course

be caused by latency problems.

And with a game as fast paced and close quartered as Siege, even relatively small latencies

can make the ghosting effect that causes peeker's advantage feel significant.

Here you can see some synchronised footage of a shield user and shooter and what it highlights

is that as a shield, you can already be facing towards an enemy on your screen but if you

or your opponent have a relatively high ping, you might still be side on, on his or her screen.

If we slow down the footage a little, this effect becomes even more apparent.

Now of course, for test purposes here, I created a game where we each had pretty high pings

of over 250ms, so in actual games you would probably not experience this effect in such

an extreme way but I hope this kind of highlights the issue.

Now this effect is nothing really new to most players, as I'm sure we've all experienced

ping related issues at some point or another but there is also a shield bug that I want

to show you next that could affect your game if you are trying to angle towards your enemy

while remaining stationary.

Here, let me show you what I mean with some dual screen background footage, so that you

can see the first and third person view of the shield operator at the same time.

Now, when the shield carrier turns to his right while remaining stationary, you can

see that the third person view of the character also turns right in small increments.

So far so good.

Here's the problem though: when he turns to his left without moving you can get this

odd movement where the third person model of the shield will actually turn the wrong

way for a little while, before then snapping back to where the first person view is facing.

In most of our test, we were moving quite slowly to explore the issue but we also made

sure to test if this phenomenon also occurs when the shield op is rotating at higher speeds

and it does; the movement is just faster.

Now the consequence of this odd turning behaviour is that as a shield op, you can end up with

your first and third person headings diverging significantly.

Going by the in-game compass, I would estimate that the reset happens about every 40° and

since the third person model turns in the exact opposite way during that time, you can

end up with your first and third person headings diverging by almost 90°.

In some ways this is quite amusing because your shots will still hit where your first

person view is aiming even if your character model and even the laser pointer on your gun

are facing in a completely different direction.

And I say "amusing"… yeah it's fun and all when you're playing around in a

custom game but in a ranked match, this could turn a whole lot less funny pretty quickly.

If you end up getting a kill like this, your opponent will be mildly infuriated for sure

but what is more likely to happen is that they will simply aim at you and shoot you

straight in the side of the head while you thought that you were facing towards them

thereby giving the impression of getting shot straight through the shield.

What makes this effect even more confusing is that it will occur most of the time but

not all of the time.

As you can see here, when we tested this for the first time in a custom game, the misalignment

was not happening for my character when seen from Pogo's view but it was happening for

him from mine.

But then in a later test, with more players in the server, it DID happen from Pogo's

view for all of us…

So I guess the takeaway is that it doesn't even happen reliably.

Ok!

We tested this effect in quite a few ways to see what would cancel it and what wouldn't.

You can hip fire and reload while being split from your model.

The effect can occur while crouched or while standing

but when you change stances you character model resets.

Aiming down sights will align your third person model as long as you are aiming and when you

stop aiming, you will sometimes go back to being split and sometimes not.

Droning will also bring your headings together but only for as long as you are using the drone.

But luckily, almost anything else you can do will actually cancel out the effect.

Moving in any way at all will instantly align your headings; this effect only occurs when

stationary and turning to the left.

Throwing an object or extending your shield as Montagne will also immediately realign

you with your character model.

Clash is immune to this bug, since her shield is always either extended or on her back so

of course the easiest solution to this problem is for you to play more Clash!

*editors cough*

… oh… yeah, maybe not.

So ok, yes it can occur that your first and third person headings can be split apart by

almost 90° if you are stationary and turning left (but not right!).

This can of course leave you hugely vulnerable to enemies that you thought you were looking

at but in practice when playing the game, you're moving most of the time, so the chances

of actually dying because of this are relatively small.

Nevertheless it is a curious little bug that may just catch you out now and then.

As minor as it may be in actual games, I do hope this bug gets picked up and taken care

of sooner rather than later.

And that's pretty much all I was able to find while testing shields and trying to figure

out why they can be somewhat unreliable sometimes.

If you have any other theories or know of any other quirks that affect shields, let

me know in the comments section below, I look forward to hearing what else might be causing problems!

As always, thank you for watching, I hope you enjoyed the video and I will see you in

The truth behind Emile Smith Rowe's loan move and the 'permanent option' rumours - Duration: 2:54.

Emile Smith Rowe has completed a loan move to RB Leipzig.  The teenager has penned a loan deal with the Bundesliga outfit until the end of the season, to continue his development

There have been suggestions that the deal could include an option which will allow Leipzig to turn the move permanent in the summer, should they wish

But, as first reported on Wednesday night, football.london has been told that is not true and the loan is purely about the 18-year-old getting more game time with a top level side in one of Europe's elite leagues

Unai Emery and the club's hierarchy rate Smith Rowe extremely highly and see him as a key part of Arsenal's future over the next few years

Smith Rowe, who has been with the club since he was 10, signed a new long-term contract in July having caught the eye with some superb performances during pre-season

Arsenal attacker Emile Smith Rowe.  On signing his new deal, the midfielder said: "To be honest it feels great for me

"It's something I've always dreamt of since I was young, so to sign a new contract with Arsenal

I'm just so happy and it feels surreal at the moment."  Smith Rowe has made six senior appearances for the Gunners this season, scoring three goals

But he has yet to make his Premier League debut.  Having seen Reiss Nelson, currently on loan at Hoffenheim, enjoy a successful start to his spell in Germany this season, he is keen to follow suit after being given assurances he will get playing time with Leipzig

Should his loan spell go well over the next few months, there is a chance that Arsenal would allow him to also spend next season with Leipzig

A decision on possibly extending his stay in Germany will be taken in the summer following talks with all parties

What is a Commercial Kitchen Exhaust Hood Perforated Supply Plenum? - Duration: 1:03.

One of the components of a hood system is the perforated supply plenum which is

this piece right here. What this is, is basically just a large air vent where

the fresh air from the fan on the roof pushes the air back down into the

kitchen. All this greasy, smoky air that's being pulled out of the hood needs to be

replaced with fresh air and that's where it comes in from the roof, is this big

vent right here and that's really all it does - it's supplying fresh air back into

the kitchen. This system has the optional LED lights that you can see here and

they also even chose to add an AC vent, which is this section right here.

This ties into your actual general HVAC system and allows cool air to pump back

into the kitchen which really helps to cool back down especially standing in

front of this hot equipment. But again, this is a critical part of the system.

The perforated supply plenum brings in the fresh air from the rooftop.

खसखस ची भाजी - Poppy Seeds Sabzi For Post Pregnancy - Khaskhaschi Bhaji Recipe In Marathi - Archana - Duration: 3:16.

Again today's recipe is about post pregnancy.

There are sweet recipes similarly there are spicy recipes too.

Generally, post preganancy it's not adviced to eat spicy or either green or red chillies.

Either its black pepper powder or cinnamon powder.

And that too you have to use in proportion.

You don't have to make it spicy.

So today I will show you poppy seeds vegetable curry.

We will heat the oil.

Here we are taking 2 tablespoons of oil.

It's fine if you make this vegetable curry in ghee (clarified butter).

But it's okay if it is refined oil.

Otherwise you will say I make everything in ghee and you will end up not eating it.

So that should not happen.

We will add 1/2 tablespoon of turmeric powder.

Add little bit of chopped coriander leaves.

We are then taking onions, these are 2 finely chopped onions.

Salt, as per the taste.

And 1/2 tablespoon of black pepper powder.

We have to now let these onions cook.

These onions are getting soft so till that time we have to take the poppy seeds..

..and soak it in water approximately for an hour and grind it in mixer.

Till the time onions are getting soft we will grind the poppy seeds in the mixer.

We have taken approximately 100 grams of poppy seeds.

We will take some water.

And now we will grind it in the mixer.

We have to grind it a little coarse.

Let's check if it's done.

This is now done.

We will take it out now.

We will put it in the onions because onions have turned soft.

We will add a little water now.

Approximately this is 1/2 cup of water.

Mix it nicely.

Cover it with lid and let it cook.

Because poppy seeds need to be cooked.

We have to wait till it's done.

For the vegetable curry it will still take 10-15 mins.

Let's check if the vegetable curry is done.

The vegetable curry is nicely done, it's mixed together very well.

Turn of the flame.

And we will take this out in a serving bowl.

And few chopped coriander leaves.

Our poppy seeds vegetable curry is now ready.

Have this with hot sorghum flat bread.

Mother is happy and so are the family.

You also get a nice sleep after having this.

So do try this and let me know in the comments.

And like, share and subscribe to Ruchkar Mejwani.
