Chris Hill: Ford Motors sales in the fourth quarter were strong in North America.

Unfortunately for shareholders, Ford also sales vehicles in other parts of the world,

and that's not going very well these days, Ron.

Ron Gross: No. Is there any reason to get excited about owning a stock like Ford or GM?

I have a hard time coming up with one, unless you get into the value investing argument.

In this case, there's too much that you would need to bet on.

They've got to really turn this business around.

The restructuring is ongoing around the globe, China, Europe.

They're getting bigger on trucks and SUVs in the U.S.

There's an $11 billion restructuring overseas, it's going to take several years to complete that.

Who knows how successful it'll be? They're cutting $25 billion in costs by 2020.

There's a lot to come here. It's hard to say what's going to happen.

They declined to give profit guidance for 2019, but they tried to dance around and make

some comments, which left investors a little unpleased, unfulfilled.

This is one, I'd watch it and take some interest in it, but I would not want to own it.

Hill: I'm not saying he's necessarily on the hot seat, but Jim Hackett's been the CEO of

Ford Motor for about a year and a half. The stock's down 20% during that time.

It really seems like if that guy and his executive team have any rabbits that they can pull out

of their respective hats, this would be the year to do it.

Gross: Yeah, but it's tough to do that.

You take the reins of something that's kind of a mess, and you have to set up expectations,

where you say, "I'm going to come in here and do my best, but you have to give me several

years because I can't turn something like this on a dime."

Jason Moser: Any chance these guys go knocking back on Alan Mullaly's door at one point or another?

"Hey, are you interested in part two?" Gross: [laughs] You never know!

Billionaires Pushing Centrist People & Policies Ahead Of 2020 Election - Duration: 5:29.

The former starbucks CEO, Howard Schultz, his decision to run for president of the United

States kind of underscores a bigger problem and it's also important to realize that Howard

Schultz isn't just a narcissistic idiot, but that there's other forces that are pushing

him to run for president of the United States and those other forces happen to be other

millionaires and billionaires here in this country who are terrified right now of both

sides of the political aisle.

They're afraid of Democrats because Democrats want to raise their taxes.

They don't like that.

They don't like the thought of that.

They don't like the thought of their hard earned money and I should have put quotes

around hard earned money, but they don't like the thought of their money going to help poor

people or going towards things like Medicare for all or better quality of public schools

or teacher raises or infrastructure.

They don't like that thought, but on the other side of the aisle, they're terrified of the

fact that Republicans have no plan.

They don't know what they're doing.

The government shutdown costs us billions upon billions of dollars and they're so volatile

that they're causing the stock market to kind of go crazy, massive ups followed by massive

downs.

People lose a lot of money in those, especially the wealthy elite, so they can't trust the

Republicans.

They're terrified of the Democrats tax plan.

So what do you do in that situation?

Well, you find a billionaire centrist and hope that they can connect with the American

public enough to get into the White House and then preserve what you've created and

here is what the billionaire class in the United States has created.

They have created a government that continues to deregulate the very businesses that are

polluting and destroying not just the environment, but our own bodies.

We have toxic chemicals in the drinking water of more than one third of American citizens

and not just, you know, oh, these are toxic and it can make you say, these are cancer

causing chemicals.

These are cancer causing chemicals.

That bio acount accumulate, which means they just build up in your system until you're

just constantly poisoning yourself.

Even when you're not drinking that water.

That's what's happening in the United States today, today, one third of us drinking that

water every day and best part is we don't even know which one is the one third.

We don't know who we are.

We don't know if it's us, if it's them or who it is, one third of us just drinking it

away without any knowledge of how deadly it is.

That's the deregulatory deregulation that these millionaires and billionaires one in

place because they profit off that they don't have to handle their toxic waste in a, you

know, expensive way by properly disposing of it.

They just dump it in the water system and say to hell with it.

They've created a system to where it's nearly impossible to become a self millionaire or

billionaire anymore.

They're shipping our jobs overseas.

They're starving us of tax revenue.

That could go towards public schooling or could go to any of the grand projects on the

horizon.

Medicare for all debt free college, things like that.

Expansion of social security, but instead they want to keep that money in their pocket.

So that's why they're pushing these centrus, which is exactly what Howard Schultz is.

It's not because they're, you know, think that he's going to have the best path for

Americans.

In fact, it's quite the opposite.

It's because Howard Schultz in the billionaire class, they don't have a path because they

don't want a path.

They want to stay where we are, how we are, and make sure that nothing changes.

Their taxes stay low, regulation stave and lower and their profits stay higher than ever.

You put a centrist in there who's not going to tweet out something stupid that will tank

the stock market and they don't have to worry about that anymore.

You put a centrist in office who's not going to regulate Wall Street and you don't have

to worry about that.

You put a centrist in there who's not going to hold corporations accountable or criminally

prosecute them when they break the law or when they knowingly kill or maim American

citizens.

Then you don't have to worry about that anymore.

That is what the billionaire class is doing and they're doing it because they hate Democrats

because Democrats want to tack some more and they hate Republicans because Republicans

can't be trusted and are too volatile to keep things steady.

So here comes the billionaire centrus class ready to rescue us from our horrible future

of possibly having a better country.

That is the last thing that the billionaires want us to have because if we start doing

better, it might mean that they have to lose a few million dollars out of their billion

dollar fortune and God forbid they make that sacrifice of a little bit of money that they'd

never even noticed was gone.

Just to help millions of Americans live a little bit better.

Is Zelle a Threat to Paypal, Square, and Other Fintech Companies? - Duration: 5:15.

Jason Moser: Alright, Matt, we wanted to jump in here and answer an e-mail.

There's an e-mail that we received while we were away.

This e-mail came from Petey in Utah. Basically, he's asking us about Zelle.

This was the situation. "My wife was going to Vegas for a birthday party with her friend.

She owes money to the one that got it all set up. Her friend requested that she Venmo her the funds."

His immediate response was, "Hey, just use Zelle," because his wife wasn't using Venmo.

Long story short, she used Zelle to transfer the funds. No fees, easy to do.

You don't have to download another app. "Can you speak to how Zelle can affect the War on Cash basket?"

It was a good question. I think

it's something worth noting, anybody who has a bank account with Wells or Bank of America

or any of the big banks probably has access to Zelle.

I know I'm a Bank of America account holder and I have access to Zelle.

Now, with that said, I've never used it.

His question keys in on something that's worth noting -- my initial response to that is that

while Zelle is something out there, it's a nice value-add for people who have those accounts,

when you look at companies like PayPal and Square and the services they offer like Venmo

and Xoom and whatnot, those are services that are being built more for the younger users

in mind who are coming up into the banking world as they're growing up.

I look at my kids, for example, at 14 and 12.5 years old.

They're a little bit more of that Venmo target vs. something like Zelle is with a Bank of

America account. That's not to say that Zelle is not a threat.

I think Zelle absolutely is going to continue to hold its own.

But, it's a very big market opportunity, and I don't think Zelle is something that necessarily

threatens smaller companies like PayPal or Square. I do think it probably keeps them on their toes.

What do you think about it, Matt?

Matt Frankel: I think the one thing to keep in mind is just how many resources the people behind Zelle have.

If you're not familiar, Zelle is a project that was funded by a bunch of the big banks all together.

The banks that funded Zelle have something like, $4 trillion or $5 trillion in assets,

a ton of resources at their disposal.

I think Square is an extremely innovative company, same could be said for PayPal,

with Cash and Venmo.

Not that it's a threat to Square or Venmo, but it has to keep them on their toes.

You think Square is a big company? Square is tiny compared to these banks, same with PayPal.

So, it's a question of resources in my mind, when it comes to how much you have to worry

about a certain competitive threat. Square and Venmo were the first movers.

Venmo, especially, was the first mover there.

But I think they still should strive to innovate and one-up the banks and beat them at their

own game because the banks have a lot of resources they could throw at building competitive infrastructure

if they really wanted to. Moser: Yeah, you're right.

Banks do have a lot of resources there that they can do a lot of things with.

That always makes me go back to that idea that, just because a company has the resources

doesn't necessarily mean they can execute.

You have to be able to actually execute with the resources that you have.

I think Zelle is something that's here to stay.

We were actually reading through an article here earlier in regard to PayPal and MasterCard

executives who are talking about this space and seeing it as such a great time for collaboration

with all of these parties involved, big and small.

They have opportunities to bring new products and relationships

to market for banking customers of all ages.

It's interesting when you see the executives from companies like PayPal and MasterCard saying that.

Those are obviously two very big and important companies that are doing a lot on their own out there.

When you talk about the opportunity to collaborate and do more, they're certainly not

viewing this as a zero-sum game. They're not viewing this as win or lose.

This is something where it's a big enough market opportunity that there are a lot of

different ways these companies can all succeed. I think that's ultimately the way we look at it.

We've talked before, certainly, about the war on cash.

I could have probably thrown five more companies in that basket if I wanted, I just drew the line at four.

Anyways, a very good question from Petey in Utah. We enjoyed having the chance to talk about it a little bit.

Thanks, Petey from Utah for e-mailing us that question!

Meteor Crater | Best Preserved Asteroid Impact Site | Arizona Landmark | HD - Duration: 4:01.

METEOR CRATER | AMERICAN LANDMARK | Famous Landmarks | New Uploads Every Sunday and Wednesday.

Worlds best preserved meteorite impact site on earth | Meteor Crater is a meteorite impact crater approximately 37 miles (60 km) east of Flagstaff and 18 miles (29 km) west of Winslow in the northern Arizona desert of the United States.

Meteor Crater is nearly 1 mile across, 2.4 miles in circumference and more than 550 feet deep. It is an International tourist attraction.

The object that excavated the crater was a nickel-iron meteorite about 160 feet across. The speed of the impact has been a subject of some debate. Modeling initially suggested that the meteorite struck at up to 45,000 mph.

The crater was created about 50,000 years ago during the Pleistocene epoch, when the local climate on the Colorado Plateau was much cooler and damper. The area was an open grassland dotted with woodlands inhabited by mammoths and giant ground sloths.

And struck with the energy of more than 20 million tons of TNT.

During the 1960s and 1970s, NASA astronauts trained in the crater to prepare for the Apollo missions to the Moon.

You can walk right up to the rim of Meteor Crater, thought to be one of the best preserved meteorite craters on the planet. The crater is privately owned by the Barringer family, the descendants of the scientist who was first to suggest that the crater was due to a meteor.

The visitor center displays pieces of the meteorite recovered from the floor of the crater and tells the history surrounding the site. Learn about Daniel Barringer and the journey that led to the craters discovery, then trek the paved walkway to its viewing point. Bring Sunscreen, there is no natural shade along the walkway.

Pundit picks out the key quality Higuain has already added to Chelsea - Duration: 2:54.

Gonzalo Higuain has added a much-needed calmness to the Chelsea attack according to Garth Crooks

Higuain, 31, arrived at Stamford Bridge on loan from Juventus as Maurizio Sarri tries to replace the misfiring Alvaro Morata, who left to join Atletico Madrid on loan this week

The Argentine has long been linked with a move to England and Chelsea, and started Saturday's visit of Huddersfield Town

It didn't take the former Real Madrid striker to show his talent. He found the net twice against Huddersfield, including the first goal of the day after just sixteen minutes

Chelsea have struggled to hurt teams at times this season despite dominating possession with the Blues either forced to rush their attack and fail to create high quality chances or not having the forward runs to find from midfield

N'Golo Kante had faced criticism in his more advanced role under Maurizio Sarri too as he is not regarded as a footballer who is suited to carrying a threat into the final third

According to Crooks, the arrival of a forward with Higuain's pedigree has meant there is a newfound composure in this vital area of the pitch that is helping the rest of the team to settle back down after a rough run of results

"Sarri has got the reaction he was desperately looking for, but I've got to say to you, Higuain has made a hell of a difference," he told BBC Final Score

"Suddenly, up front there's a calmness, there's an assurance. Kante puts a ball into him and finishes with aplomb

It's fabulous.  "Just before that he's had a chance and there was a warning. Huddersfield didn't heed the warning and paid the price after that

"It's been a wonderful performance by Chelsea. Hazard and Higuain, that's the show
