The US finally moves to extradite Huawei CFO Meng Wanzhou.

China decides its courts are too independent.

And kidnapping?

The Chinese Communist Party wouldn't dream of it.

We all knew it was coming,

and it's finally happened.

"The U.S. has told Canada to expect a formal request

to extradite Meng Wanzhou the detained CFO of Huawei."

But that doesn't mean it's going to happen right away—

or even at all.

Because if there's one thing the US government loves,

it's endless paperwork.

Back in December,

Canada arrested Meng Wanzhou,

the CFO of China's largest telecom company, Huawei.

It was at the request of the US.

Huawei has been accused of using a shell company

to violate US sanctions on Iran and possibly Syria.

Needless to say, after weeks calling for Meng's release,

the Chinese Communist Party was not too happy

with the idea of extradition to the US.

On Tuesday, Beijing shot back,

saying Canada should release Meng immediately

and accusing the two countries

of abusing their extradition treaty.

"Canada and the United States arbitrarily

abused their bilateral extradition treaty

to seriously infringe upon a Chinese citizen's

security and legal rights.

We urge the Canadian side

to immediately release Ms. Meng Wanzhou

and earnestly safeguard her legitimate

and lawful rights and interests."

Yeah!

She's entitled to legitimate and lawful rights!

In Canada, obviously, not in China.

No one has rights in China—

especially not Canadians.

That's why the Chinese regime had no qualms

about detaining two Canadians,

and accusing them of spying...

based off what I'm sure is very solid evidence.

Their real mistake, of course,

was setting foot in mainland China in the first place.

On Monday,

143 Western academics and diplomats

sent this open letter to Chinese leader Xi Jinping

urging him to release the Canadians.

And now I can name 143 more people

who should probably not set foot in mainland China.

Speaking of ensuring legitimate and lawful rights...

China's Supreme People's Court.

They've ruled that the whole Western model of judicial independence,

is bad.

They said China's courts should

"Resolutely resist the influence of the West's

erroneous thought and mistaken viewpoints."

Mistaken viewpoints like,

don't detain innocent people for political reasons.

The Chinese Communist Party controls the courts,

but that's not enough!

It's also looking for more ways to exert direct control over religions.

And what better way than rewriting the Bible

to be more in line with "correct thinking" from the Party?

I talked about this in a recent episode.

And as a joke,

I read completely made-up quotes

from this completely made-up book.

At least, that's what I thought at the time.

But now I've learned—

and this is true—

that local officials in Henan Province

"ordered [a Henan] church to wipe out the first Commandment,

'Thou shalt have no other gods before me.'"

I guess they didn't get the hint when they told people

to replace pictures of Jesus with pictures of Xi Jinping.

Speaking of brainwashing,

more brainwashing!

Since the time of former Chinese leader Hu Jintao—

you know, the one that we all forgot about—

Chinese students have been forced to take

"Current Affairs and Policies" classes.

Well, China's Ministry of Education

has been pushing these classes even more recently.

The goal is to "help college students understand

the situation at home and abroad

in the new era correctly."

Peking University,

the Harvard of China,

has taken the lead.

They've opened an entire institute dedicated

to what's officially called "Xi Jinping Thought on Socialism

with Chinese Characteristics for a New Era."

I get it.

You need an entire institute

to figure out what any of those words mean.

Fortunately, one Chinese student has dissected it.

"[He] told Radio Free Asia that the course

is actually 'brainwashing' education

in combination with current events.

He cited the US-China trade war as an example.

'The course tells how the United States

is rude and unreasonable toward China.

It also preaches that the party is very great a

nd instills ideas about the party-state system

and about xenophobia.'"

Well obviously the Party is very great.

Only the very great need to forcibly remind you that they're very great.

And the Party is obviously very great—

at disappearing people.

For instance, Chinese-Australian Writer Yang Hengjun,

who mysteriously vanished after getting off a plane in China last week.

Days later, Chinese authorities finally admitted they had detained Yang,

who is a blogger, novelist, and former Chinese diplomat.

They said it was because Yang was "endangering national security."

It seems like Yang has become part of

the Chinese regime's hottest new trend:

hostage diplomacy.

Of course, the Communist Party kidnapping

citizens of other countries is not something new.

It's just been more noticeable lately.

So noticeable, that people tried to convince Yang

not to go back to China.

But he told his friend Dr. Feng Chongyi

that he would be ok,

because he had toned down his criticism of the Party.

Unfortunately for Yang,

the Chinese Communist Party can really hold a grudge.

Maybe Yang should have listened to Dr. Feng,

especially since Feng was detained in China back in 2017.

Make that 144 people who should not set foot in mainland China.

The Chinese-controlled city of Macau.

It's number one in the world when it comes to gambling...

And definitely when it comes to ugly architecture.

So it makes sense that Macau's crime syndicates

would also be number one.

Well, police say they've uncovered a 4.4 billion dollar

money laundering scheme.

So that's the ancient Chinese secret.

Money laundering is a big problem

for the Chinese Communist Party.

China's elite, including Party members,

are concerned that China's economy isn't doing so hot.

They want to get their money out.

And while there are a bunch of laws in place to stop them,

rich people always find a way.

And that way is Macau.

Or it was, until authorities found that a crime syndicate

was smuggling in machines "to allow gamblers

to secretly cash out their casino winnings

in Hong Kong dollars and Macanese patacas."

This could be the beginning of

a more serious investigation into Macau's money laundering,

and why anyone would want Macanese patacas.

And across the bay from Macau is Hong Kong—

the other special administrative region of China.

Hong Kong, of course,

has its own government and laws,

separate from the rest of China.

Now I know, you're worried that this is a problem—

because sometimes Hong Kongers' thinking is too independent,

and not in line with the correct thinking for a new era.

But don't worry.

They're starting to rectify that.

The Hong Kong legislature is moving to make

disrespecting the Chinese national anthem a crime.

For far too long,

Hong Kongers have been openly negative

about the Chinese Communist Party.

For example by booing the Chinese national anthem

at sports matches.

The new bill proposes 3 years in jail

for dissing China's national anthem,

as well as a fine of over six thousand US dollars.

Or 51 thousand Macanese patacas,

if you're trying to get rid of those.

And yes, the proposed law "also extends to schoolchildren,

including pupils of international schools,

who would be legally required to learn the anthem."

Korean fishing boat seized in Argentina for violating EEZ - Duration: 0:45.

A South Korean deep-sea fishing vessel was seized in waters near Argentina... for allegedly

violating the country's exclusive economic zone.

The nation's fishery ministry said Friday... that an Argentinian patrol boat seized a fishing

vessel owned by Sajo Oyang Company around 7 am.

The vessel is currently being escorted to a nearby port.

Let us try to understand the goals of an objective statement in a resume.

Most of the times you may have heard conflicting views about whether to include an objective

statement or not, on the resume.

So, what should we really do?

Should we really include the objective?

Or not?

In what cases do we need an objective statement?

When can we omit it?

The objective statement in a resume can be of great value if done correctly and presented

to the target, in this case, your future employer.

So, before we see when to present an objective statement, let us understand why we should

present it, in the first place.

An objective statement is written to help the reader understand your reasons and the

motivation for applying for a specific job.

In other words, it could be seen as your interest behind the job application and this gives

direction to the way the things can progress.

Having said that, there are two scenarios that we need to consider while writing an

objective statement.

The first case is that, you are very early in your career or maybe you have recently

graduated or perhaps you are in between changing careers.

In cases such as these, you will find a very good use for an objective statement.

This is very helpful because firstly, you may not have much of an experience to talk

about.

Secondly, mentioning why you are interested in a specific job requirement, will help your

future employer understand where you want to go with your selections in life and your

purpose for doing so.

This will give them an opportunity to understand where you might fit in the organization and

then make a decision based on that.

In the second case, you are someone who is experienced and have worked for some time

in the industry.

So, for such professionals who have gathered experience over the years, an objective statement

is very less likely to be useful and hence not required.

Let's take a look at few examples of objective statements.

Example 1- Standard way of writing an objective statement

To obtain a web designer position that promotes growth in an environment that I can contribute

my web design skills and continue to develop experience in a professional environment.

This statement is pretty basic in the sense that it just defines the role that this job

application is for and then it discusses the skills that the applicant has and how these

skills will be utilized.

For some, this might seem like a pretty basic statement.

And yes, why not?

If you are really new in the industry or fresh out of graduation, such kind of standard objective

statement could be a lifesaver.

Example 2 - Bad way of writing an objective statement

Create new icons, create new designs in Photoshop, convert photoshop designs to HTML pages.

Visualizing these goals, we can deliver new product to the customer.

This objective statement merely states the tasks that the applicant has done, pretty

much every day at the desk.

It fails to deliver the real reason or the motivation behind applying for this job and

hence causes the reader to lose track of what to expect, if the candidate is hired.

This kind of a job statement is a perfect recipe for disaster, so make sure to AVOID

it at all costs.

Example 3 - Correct way of writing an objective statement

An expert designer well versed in the field of web design and development, I am seeking

a challenging opportunity to serve large projects where my talent, skills and passion for web

design along with my experience could be fully utilized.

This objective statement is a really good way of describing in a very brief manner,

why the applicant is worthy of the job.

It gives a brief, yet good insight into the skills that the applicant has and how the

skills and experience would be used to benefit the organization.

Such kind of objective statement would definitely increase the employers' interest in the

resume and would inspire them to keep reading further.

As the applicant have summarized his skills as web design and web development related,

this instantly conveys to the employer that the applicant is a perfect aspirant for web

design and development related jobs.

This could be one of the dealmakers for the applicant if the resume is shortlisted at

the end.

On the same lines as the applicant has listed the skills that he or she possesses very clearly,

they would not be called for interview for other job roles.

This saves time for both the job applicant and the employer.

In conclusion, an objective statement is great option to list on your resume, if you are

a fresher in the industry, as it provides a sense of direction for the future employer

and understand your interest.

On the flip side, if you are someone who has many years of experience, you can omit writing

an objective statement and instead, focus on writing a professional summary that would

summarize your achievements.

if you be risen with Christ seek those things which are above

set your affections on things which are above

not on things on the earth

why ? because you are dead now

and your life is hid with Christ in God

and when Christ who is our life shall appear

that word appear there is a word which

means to shine it's a Greek word

which means to shine then

shall you also begin to shine with him in that glory

let's just stop there for a moment because

there's some interesting words here which we need to look at

set your affections on things which are above

not on things which are in the earth

set your affections

it's very very interesting these are very interesting Greek words

the mean to set, to that word set is an a

Greek word: phroneō p h r o n e o

and it means with connected with the word affection

to set with affection it means

to exercise the mind with feeling with emotion

....to rein in..... or to focus

so when Colossians here is talking about

set your affections on things which are above

it is talking about

set your mind or imagination

because you can't think without imagining

set your imagination with a

single focus

with the feeling of emotion which is love

upon the Lord and the things of the kingdom of God

now if you do that you will connect

now let me just say something

motion is very very important

because the strength of the emotions

determines the speed of your connection

and the force of the connection

it's not a cold connection

that's a connection with feeling of love and focus

people tell us that we we

only remember things that we really feel about

when we listening to something

if something gets hold of us not with just the mental side

but if we have feeling about it

if there is an emotion with that we will remember it

very interesting and that's true

when there is an emotion with something that

someone is talking to your life or your reading you will remember that I felt

the coupling of feeling our emotion with the set of your heart

it's very very powerful

so these four verses are very very important

the context is first one

seated with Christ in the spirit

heavenly realms, in the kingdom of God realm

now that you're there...... if you'd be risen with Christ

seek those things which are above

seeking again attitude

you want to find out, you want to get into that realm

you want to walk with the Lord

there's a hunger

very very important

seek me with hunger

seek those things which are above where Christ is

when said above we're not talking to you graphically

we're talking about in the realm of the spirit

because so often we have this concept

that heaven is so far away

now I do believe that that heaven is there is a little place of heaven

beyond this universe

but heaven also reaches to here

in eternity time and space does not exist in the eternal realm

heaven can exist within your heart

and I know it's a strange concept

but we need to understand

When said set your things on above

we're talking about the realm with God

set your things on the kingdom of God

if you be risen with Christ

seek those things which are above where Christ is

and set your affections on things which are above

on that kingdom realm,

exercise set your affection

exercise your mind, your imagination with feeling

the affections with feeling and strength

that word set is to reign in the mind with focus

with your affection also includes with

an affection of love and worship

now if you do that it says then in verse 4

Christ will appear

when Christ who is our life shall appear

then you also shall be with him in reality

in glory

so often we read the description said when is the second coming

when he comes back

we're going to be with him in glory

and has that meaning but the immediate

meaning for you and I right now today

is you can be and walk with him in glory

in reality with your new creation man

that's what he's talking about

if you will do this

he said when Christ is your life he will appear and

you will also be with him in glory

that's what saying you will appear with him in glory

do you want to walk in glory with Jesus

you see then you learn

to abide in that, you learn to live in that

talk about abiding in him , in Christ

abide in the spiritual awareness of Jesus

and the kingdom realm

and the angel realm

and the cloud of witnesses

the kingdom of God and

everything that's in the kingdom of God

you learn to begin to develop your spiritual man

your spiritual senses

so that you can look and tune into that realm

you can abide in that realm

and you can live in that realm

you can walk with God in that realm

because of your position in Jesus in the spirit realm

you can do these things

first one because of that position

that your focus with feeling

with love

on the Lord and the kingdom of God

exercise your spiritual faculties

now I read a book just some time ago

and this guy it was written by some theologian who had a PHD

and he was saying trying to prove the point that

if we imagine Jesus it is an idol

or it's an icon

without have any graven image

I don't think anybody's thought to tell him

that you cannot think of Jesus without imagining him

try it, you can't do it

imagination and thought it connected

you might not have a PHD

proven head damage

it's so ridiculous

and Christians read, buy these books

and read them

and they get locked out of the kingdom of God

because they saw a lie

and they were afraid of the spirit realm

in other book the seduction of Christianity

should be burned that should be burned

was written by a guy who was not spiritual

and had no clue about the things of the Spirit

and it became a best-seller in evangelical field around the world

it keeps myriads out of the reality of the kingdom of God

we've got to kind of

get past this kind of New Age complex

praise God the church has gotta come into a new age

right one

you are dead

you live with God now in the realm of spirit

when I talk about this when I talk about

just about this spiritual pressure that comes upon me is enormous

because I want to the spirit realm

does not want you to know this

the realm of Satan does not want you to know

how to connect and walk with the Lord

doesn't want that

he's kept it off the church for so long

when you link with Christ

through that focus with love and feeling worship

he will appear in reality

you will walk with him in glory

your spirit will ascend into that realm

and your spirit, your new creation man

will be there with him in that

the lie is you got to be a super Saint

you got a special call upon your life

before you can do any of this

that's a lie

you linked with Christ

Paul tells us here how to link into the realm of God

love is the emotion

imagination is the focus of the heart

set ,held ..... imagination is the focus of the heart

you will enter the spirit realm

now Paul prayed he said:

I pray that to the church

he said in Ephesians chapter 1:18

turn with me to Ephesians

Ephesians 1 you gotta watch that spirit of wrong focus

your life is caught up and seeing what is wrong

you've got a spirit driving you, spirit of wrong focus

we have a kingdom focus in

Ephesians chapter 1 and verse 18

let's just go through this again

The eyes of your understanding would be enlightened

that you might know and see

that word know is the word which means

know by experience, experiencing it

I'm not ....... knowing what God's got for you

God wants you to see

what he's got for you

and see the end product in spirit realm

he wants you to see, vision see that, he wants you to see it

the eyes of your understanding might be enlightened

so that you might see what is the hope of your calling

what are the riches of the glory of inheritance unto the saints

and what is the exceeding greatness of his power to you who believe

according to the working of his mighty power

the three words there

eyes, your understanding , and being enlightened

so Paul prayed he said

prayer in verse 16 said:

cease not to give thanks and make mention of you in my prayers

that God might given to you

the spirit of wisdom and revelation

in the knowledge experience of him

knowledge ...... experiencing him

that the eyes of your understanding

the eyes that mean vision

the word for physical eyes, spiritual sight same word vision

the vision he say of your understanding

that word understanding is the Greek word: dianoia

dianoia

the eyes of your understanding

[RSV] : the eyes of your heart but it's a better translation

the New English Bible: has it

your inward eyes that's closest too

but the word the inward eyes the word dianoia

is the word that is

used in scripture for an imagination

for imagination it's always coupled with imagination

it's used in Luke chapter 1 verse 51 which says they were proud in their imagination

"dianoia" proud in their imagination(dianoia)

actually uses the word imagination here in the English

but and where we're reading now

is translated the eyes of your understanding

so he said: is vision , Paul prayed that the eyes the vision

of your imagination would be enlighten

now that word enlightened is another Greek word which means

it's a Greek word: phōtizō

we get the English word photograph form(phōtizō)

it's a Greek word: phōtizō

we get our English word: photograph form

it's talking about pictures

pictures, photographs, pictures

so if we read that the problem from the Greek

if your vision, if the the eyes of your understanding

or the vision of your imagination,

the screen of your imagination being enlightened

that you might know that word enlighten the vision

of your imagination might be lighted with pictures

Greek word: phōtizō, spirit realm

the inner eye they said

the inner eyes of your imagination

the given vision, pictures

so that you might know through these pictures

through that vision to enter into the reality of what God has got for you

understand what I'm saying ?

God wants your spirit man to get into that realm

and see what he is got for you now and in the future

so you can see it completed in God

you can walk into the eternity

there's no time, past and present are all one

you can see the completed

that's why when God looks at you, he sees the completed article

he sees you'd complete, ok and he sees what His calling

he was talking about the hope of our calling

our purpose of being upon the earth

and the greatness of his power to us who believe

according to the working of his mighty power

and so he wants you to be able in the realm of the Spirit with your new creation man

with a focus and worship with a motivation of love

and a feeling of love towards the Lord

and a focus upon him so that

you can make your spirit man comes forth and enter that realm

How do you get your spirit man into that realm

through the focus of your mind

and your imagination with a strong emotion of love

the emotion part is very important

because if you're cold, you will not get in

the emotion is a very important

so with your set your affection, set your love

set your mind in focus with your affection

your love upon the kingdom of God
