If you have followed the IT industri a little, you've probably heard that there is a lot of innovation going on at Microsoft.
In 2015 the Surface Book was released
A very exciting new latop, with a completely new design that was something complety differed from other machines on the market
In 2016 the Surface Studio launched, which took many by surprise.
Suddenly, Microsoft was cool again, and referred to as innovative and imaginative.
Some have even gone so far to claim that Microsoft has become what Apple once was.
The seed of this new Microsoft think I was first spawned with the Surface models
that Microsoft launched a few years ago
They did not succeed entirely with the first models but from Surface 3,
and now the new Surface 4, many gave their attention to this little different machine.
.And most of all I think because it's a real smart and mobile machine designed for productivity.
Here you get done what you want, when you want, wherever you are.
It follows essentially the same mantra, and is a perfect companion with.
the popular cloud services of Microsoft like. Office 365.
Surface is a cross between a regular laptop and what we know as a tablet for example an iPad.
and that's what makes it so exciting.
It works fine as a laptop with keyboard, display and connectivity capabilities
while it also can function as a tablet.
And this is where it comes into its own, it makes usability and mobility of a tablet
but it is also a full-fledged PC.
The model I will be looking at here is Surface Pro 4, and is the latest edition of Surface model.
The machine I've borrowed by Microsoft is a machine with i5 processor so performance-wise is above average.
and lends itself well to traditional office tasks.
It has 4GB of memory, and a 128GB SSD drive.
You turn on the machine here with the on and off button, and you can also adjust the volume ..
Our version of Surface weighs only 786g
and comes with a 12.3 "high-resolution touch-screen
at 2736x1824 pixels
And it's a combination of that it is only 0.845 mm, lightweight,
and has this touch screen that allows the Surface to be the successful hybrid solution which it actually is.
Get a Surface Dock and you can use two high-resolution displays,
full keyboard, mouse and other accessories.
Then you have a machine that you can use to almost everything.
You also get 2 camera solutions on Surface.
First, a 5.0 MP camera in front with 1080p HD video
and a 8.0 MP autofocus rear camera, also with 1080p HD video.
And here you can use Windows Hello face-recognition on the camera in front to quickly logon to Windows 10.
Also included are stereo microphones and stereo speakers with Dolby Audio premium sound.
Surface comes with a built in Kickstand which you can adjust in many different angles.
Here you can easily find a position that you find it comfortable to work in.
This is one of the things that I like and that I think is very convenient when you bring your computer on the go
And it's quick to get into productivity mode.
The keyboard on the Surface can remind and look a little bit like the smart keyboard from the iPad Pro models from Apple
It also means that you don't have keyboard that equals a normal laptop,
but one that is easy and convenient start working with..
The keyboard is detachable and has a smart magnetic connection that you see here
It makes it easy to disconnect the keyboard when you use the machine in tablet mode.
And just as ingenious when you need to connect the keyboard again.
You've probably heard that Windows 10 and Office 2016 is optimized for touch screen and pen.
The smart pen that you can get with Surface,
means you can use Surface as digital notebook in tablet mode.
The combination OneNote and Surface is therefore perfect for meetings
You can choose the thickness of the pen, and easily highlight important text in all Office programs
and using an eraser function by simply turning the pen such as this.
Surface also features a convenient magnetic mount that you can put the pen when not in use.
The battery life of the machine promises Microsoft up to 9 hours of video playback
In practical use, you can expect a little less depending on how your usage pattern is.
The charger that's supplied also has a smart and practical magnetic connection.
Surface comes with many connectivity options.
Connecting to wireless networks is quick via 802,11AC standard.
And you also get Bluetooth 4.0 wireless technology built in.
The computer has USB 3.0 full-size port
A Micro SD card reader
Headphone connectivity and a Mini DisplayPort output for connection to an external monitor or projector.
Want a bigger processor you can get Surface delivered with a powerful Intel i7 processor.
You can also get processors with less performance
if you do mainly run simple tasks on the computer..
The price then will often be halved.
You can get the computerwith basic 4GB memory
and up to 16GB as maximum.
We recommend that you choose the 8GB option for best performance.
You also have several storage-options
from 128GB SSD as the smallest and up to 512GB as max
Here, we also recommend that you choose the 256GB storage option
then you get to enjoy your machine longer..
