Can Asap Rocky Make Under Armour Cool? - Duration: 2:11.

What's up guys?!

Athletes have dominated the footwear industry for the longest time and now sports brands

have been transitioning to collaborating with artists and musicians to target pop culture

enthusiasts.

For example, Kanye West working with Nike then heading over to Adidas, Rihanna with

PUMA, Future with Reebok, the list goes on.

The most recent artist teaming up with a sports label is A$AP Rocky.

Rocky is well known for his aesthetically pleasing style and rockin' high-end garments

that the average consumer could only dream to ever own.

He's shown that rappers could still embrace their street roots while dressing like they

just stepped off a Paris runway.

He added his stylistic flair to Guess, designed sneakers with Adidas and Jeremy Scott, was

the first black male to be the face of Dior, and now he's taking on the biggest task

of his career…making Under Armour cool.

Now…to some consumers Under Amour is already poppin' due to the likeness of big names

in sports like Steph Curry, Tom Brady, and Cam Newton that have upped the brand's relevance.

But unfortunately teens that "actually" play sports and suburban dads wearing the

product haven't been quite enough to give the brand that cultural influence that exceeds

beyond the sports world.

That's when ASAP Rocky comes in.

On July 8th it was reported that Rocky had signed a multi-year deal with the Maryland

sportswear company.

He's going to be working on lifestyle product for its UAS range, which is directed by fashion

designer Tim Coppens and targets gear that doesn't feature the Under Armour logo—which

has been known to push away style-based consumers in the past.

This isn't going to be easy for the Harlem rapper though.

Under Armour has taken a shot at lifestyle products before with luxury, off-court sneakers

for Steph Curry that released at the reputable boutique Concepts.

Migos have promoted the label, but haven't religiously rocked the product for the public

eye so the brand hasn't been able to consistently resonate with the millennial audience.

This opportunity for A$AP Rocky is huge because it really puts him on the spot to display

his designing capabilities.

If he's successful at creating product that genuinely inspires his fan base, this could

change the game for Under Armour.

Rocky has 6.4 million Instagram followers which is nearly twice as many than Under Armour,

so the rapper has some pretty solid leverage to make some impact.

The Internet is totally in support of Rocky teaming up with Under Armour so now all we

can do is wait to see what he cooks up.

BREAKING: Trump Announces POWERFUL Plan To STOP Obama's Illegal Thugs. Support Him? | Top Stories - Duration: 2:30.

Even Obama knew this was a bad policy, which is why he waited until his final days in office

to execute the new rule.

President Trump has halted and is planning to scrap an eleventh-hour Obama deal that

allowed a foreigner to circumvent the typical immigration process and buy their way into

America (via Dennis Micheal Lynch).

With only three days left in office, former President Obama executed the International

Entrepreneur Notice of Proposed Rule, allowing foreigners to live in America on "parole"

if they invest in startup companies.

The new rule was scheduled to come into effect on July 17th, but President Trump has pushed

back the launch of the program with the intention of ending it for good.

The Department of Homeland Security (DHS) released a statement announcing the delay

and claimed that they do not have the resources to maintain additional immigration programs.

The DHS says they could not vet the new immigrants because "those resources are otherwise needed

for USCIS to effectively and efficiently carry out its many existing immigration benefit

programs facilitating lawful migration into the United States."

The program is being delayed since it probably will be scrapped anyway, and it is not worth

wasting resources on a program that is doomed to end.

The Obama immigration program would have allowed approximately 3,000 additional immigrants

into the country each year if they were capable of paying.

Under the program, foreigners would have been able to buy their way into the country if

they agreed to invest as little as $250,000 into a start-up company.

The "parole" would only be extended past the first year if at least five jobs were

created.

If accomplished, that "parole" would eventually lead to citizenship.

Essentially, wealthy foreigners would be able to purchase their way into America.

Investing in our country is a privilege on its own, so the cost of obtaining American

citizenship was low for anyone who has the money to invest.

This program could have been easily taken advantage of by wealthy terrorist organizations

with endless front groups hoping to gain a foothold in America.

By retracting this rule, President Trump remains committed to creating a fair immigration policy

that benefits Americans–not foreigners.

5 Small Minecraft Servers YOU NEED TO TRY! (Top Minecraft Servers) - Duration: 10:23.

Hey there!

What's going on guys!

Today, I have for you...

5 Small Minecraft Servers that I think you need to check out today!

My favorite time playing Minecraft was when small

servers really had their spots claimed out and people really enjoyed checking them out

and trying to find a server and community for themself.

Now, of course, bigger servers like Hypixel rightfully have formed into something

that people love playing...

But again, I still think finding a small community of people on some smaller, lesser known

servers can really help give you a more entertaining or at least more community driven feel while

playing Minecraft..

So without anything further, let's get started!

*Music*

The first server to share with you today is called SurrealCraft.

As with many smaller servers, SurrealCraft offers what it can and from what I've seen

while playing it does a decent job with what it offers.

So, this server has two gamemodes: Factions and SkyBlock.

I'm not sure on future plans but given server growth I'm sure they could potentially

expand on that in the future.

But let's focus on what they do have now.

I'm not much of a factions player so I didn't put too much time into that.

The majority of people on the server do spend there time there, however.

Browsing through factions , I did see some of what you'd expect from a factions server,

like crates, headhunting, proper tnt mechanics, daily KOTHS, a place to sell heads, a selection

of other warps, and of course the usual active factions chat.

In skyblock, which is recently revamped and I spent a bit more

time playing around in than factions, you can actually create 3 different types of islands

to play on.

The original skyblock experience that you would expect, and duo island

which is a little easier by having two close islands, and the black diamond islands which

is a bit harder by having less resources for you to use!

In the recently revamped Skyblock, there's a selection of crates, upgrades,

generator upgrades, quests, and challenges that you can go through while playing in Skyblock

and a PVP area too!

So, if you're looking to play on a smaller factions

server or maybe even play on a Skyblock server in a small setting then you may want to check

out SurrealCraft!

The next server I want to share with you is MineRifts.

MineRifts is actually owned by a small YouTuber named Simo389.

This server actually has quite a bit to offer.

The gamemodes you'll find on here are Creative,

Survival, SkyBlock, Dropper, KitPVP, War Games, and Parkour.

Formerly known as Pandora Gaming, MineRifts recently went through a

pretty big revamp aside from just the name.

They added new spawns to almost all of the gamemodes, added voting tokens and crates,

a new look for chat, and fixed some bugs and old features.

Within MineRifts, you may actually see player scattered throughout the different game types..

which I find is a bit uncommon for smaller servers as on these

types of servers, players will usually drift towards one game.

However, I like that the players were spread across the games as it adds balance in choosing

what to do.

The game modes are all pretty self explainable

with the exception of War Games which is their sort of minigame hub.. with Capture the Flag,

Defend the Flag and some more coming soon!

I actually spent quite a bit of time playing dropper as I always enjoy dropper.

There are some pretty solid maps here and it definitely gets a thumbs up for me as a

fun little game to do to pass the time with!

This server is actually a bit bigger than the pervious two in terms of player base.

I noticed that there is often up over 300 or so players on this server at a time.

So, while the experience won't be as personal,

it is still small enough to form an experience that is more personal that that of a very

large server.

Teldaria calls itself survival reimagined.

In their recent release, they announced that the server will have over 25 in-game ranks,

over 30 custom mobs with each mob having up to 12 difficulty

levels, a unique weapon and armor system with unique drops, a number of different jobs that

you can get paid for in-game to purchase items from other players, and mob arenas.

On their website, you'll be able to find that they have a starting guide to get you on your

way on the server.

I've always thought that WynnCraft was a cool server and have

strived to find something similar to it for a while that I truly enjoyed playing.

This server isn't like Wynncraft in many aspects but it does share some qualities of Wynncraft

that I really like.

I can go as far as saying that I may even enjoy my experience playing this type of reimagined

survival more than I enjoyed Wynncraft.

Again, slightly different experiences but that just goes to show how

well this server is developed and how great of an idea it is.

IceCraftNation gives me the feel of a more classic bukkit type Minecraft server.

Let me explain what I mean by that.

Before huge multiserver networks started taking over,

or even towards the beginning of that time period, servers like this were still moreorless

thriving.

The main location on this server is the survival server where players hang out,

chat, and just enjoy themselves.

It's not basic survival as it has different plugins that add things like jobs, vehicles,

marriage, auctions, an econonmy, McMMO and more..

This is the type of server that gave me the type of Minecraft experience that made me

come to love the game.

Now, I haven't personally seen anyone on any of the other

gamemodes but you'll also find creative, skywars, factions, skyblock, and PVP on the server.

This isn't some crazy amazingly developed server.

It's a small community of friendly people in an experience that I grew

to love on servers like the Lilville server (which is still up and running, IP in the

description).

Maybe it's a bit of nostalgia for me but I really like the way this server

is run and I think it's a great place to to join a community.

I've played a bit on my alt account here and I've come

to really enjoy the type of people around here.

To finish off, I'm actually returning to a more modern type of server and less of a nostalgia

feeling for me but I think this server is really fantastic, honestly.

With most players scattered between Towny, Skyblock,

and Creative...

Crafters Cove also offers Parkour, Avatar Bending, KitPVP, SkyWars, Build Battle, Survival

Games, CS:GO, and a bit more for you to choose from!

Formerly known as Andromeda, MelonMC, and BlockVille, it seems that Crafters Cove has

a pretty loyal player base, with many of them spending their

time within the Towny survival server.

The owner of Crafters Cove, explains that it's a corner of the interent for Crafters

to thrive and survive in.

And that isn't restricted to towny or minigames like some MelonMC or Blockville.

We'll see what types of games that they may come up with in the future.

Going through changes is something that this server

has come accustomed to.

Whether that is seen as a good or bad thing can be determined individually but going forward,

I think Crafter's Cove is in a good spot.

We'll see what the future may bring to them.

Small servers, and small communities, were once

the cornerstone of what made Minecraft fantastic.

It's an aspect of why so many grew to enjoy the game in the first place.

Demanding Excess Religious Freedom - Guest Post for Godless Cranium - Duration: 5:42.

Hey everyone, this is Lady Unicorn doing a guest video for Godless Cranium.

Thanks GC for giving me this opportunity.

While much of the western world and the internet seems focused on real and hypothetical examples

of leftwing extremism, social justice taken to absurdity, and issues with immigrants and

Islam, the US still appears to have a different set of problems: Christian groups who aren't

satisfied with the freedoms they have and insist on more, often at the expense of others.

Often the freedom they are insisting on is the freedom to discriminate against people.

[1-4] For example, in May the Texas Senate approved a bill, the "Freedom to Serve Children

Act."

In June, the governor signed that bill into law.

While the title sounds like something meant to benefit or accommodate children, the actual

text prevents "discriminating" against people or agencies that, among other things, refuse

to place children in specific homes strictly because of their own "strongly held religious

beliefs.

This is spelled out on page 4, lines 7-16 of the bill.

This allows state-funded adoption agencies to refuse on simply religious grounds, even

if there is no other reason.

One of the articles ([2]) discussing pointed out that South Dakota passed similar legislation

in March.

It perhaps also should be noted that this doesn't actually apply to just one religion.

A Muslim agency could hypothetically get tax dollars and reject Christian and Atheist families

based on their own religious beliefs as well.

Though, to my knowledge at least, they aren't currently the people who will be using this

new "freedom."

The same Texas law also allows protects the right of these agencies to provide the children

in their care with religious education, and to refuse to refer someone to services to

get an abortion or even contraception.

[5-7] Another law being watched by advocates to see if it somehow is allowed is from Mississippi

and is called the "Protecting Freedom of Conscience from Government Discrimination Act."

Interestingly, with this one, I actually found a legal analysis from last year.

According to that analysis, this law should never hold up according to our Consitution

(though time will tell) as it violates the establishment clause of the first amendment.

This law actually spells out what "sincerely held religious beliefs" are protected by it,

as well.

Basically, the ones about restricting sexual relations to marriage between one man and

one woman as determined by genetics/birth.

After defining that, it continues to prevent the government from "discriminating" on people

who make decisions based on these "sincerely held religious beliefs."

The decisions it expressly mentions based on this include providing goods or services

for weddings, hiring, firing, or disciplining individuals in a workplace environment, renting

housing, foster care, adoption, and refusal to take part in treatments for trans individuals.

It also expressly protects the right to set up dress codes and restrictions on who uses

the bathroom based again on genetics/birth.

Finally, it allows government officials to refuse to hand out marriage licenses or perform

marriages, provided that doing so does not actually prevent or delay the couple's ability

to marry.

Basically, it appears to be designed as a way to flip off anyone who doesn't conform.

[8-9] Colorado failed to pass a religious freedom bill that was far more generic, aimed

at preventing the government from passing or enforcing laws that were neutral toward

religion but could allegedly place burdens on practicing religious beliefs.

This attempt had been praised and supported by some as a way to ensure people could refuse

to provide goods or services for gay weddings.

[10-11] It isn't limited to state governments, either.

Back in 2015, the House proposed the "First Amendment Defense Act."

Allegedly, they are planning to reintroduce an "updated" version of the act.

Among other things, this bill sought to protect people from "discriminatory action" by the

government including denying or terminating federal grants, contracts, employment, or

benefits, or changing how the tax code handles people for acting "in accordance with a religious

belief...that marriage is...the union of one man and one woman."

This was in response to findings such as the fact a religious school might lose its tax-exempt

status for opposing same-sex marriage, not a response to somebody being fired from a

government job or refused some unrelated tax deduction.

[12-13] Illinois reintroduced a bill to create the "Religious Freedom Defense Act" which

would do the same thing as the federal "First Amendment Defense Act."

There have been many more attempts at legislation changing what it means for someone to have

their freedom of religion protected in the states.

I'll provide some links to more of them in the description on my copy of this video.

It is important to note, however, that not everything in all of these bills is bad.

Even some of the ones I've mentioned here include things that are good or at least neutral

(even though I'm unsure those particular things are addressing actual problems we have).

Unlike many of the topics that appear to be focused on online these days, these issues

are actually attempting to change the laws of the land.

They're not primarily questions of what a private citizen can do on their own, nor canceled

business deals or deciding who to let use some resources (like a stage or a room).

These are directly about being allowed to discriminate against individuals when it comes

to the main service a given entity is providing, simply because that entity disagrees with

their life or what they will do with it later.

Some of them are even about ensuring people who discriminate against certain people for

religious reasons are still paid by the government for doing so.

Which is just one of many places discussions seem to fail or miss certain key details.
