So many people want to get into real estate, but they really don't know what it entails.

They have no idea.

This business is far more difficult than I had imagined.

My mother says that you are one of the most experienced real estate brokers in town and

before I quit I should reach out to you.

I love so many things about being a real estate professional but no one has trained me or

shown me how to succeed, and I really don't know what to do.

I think this is so true of so many people who get into real estate, isn't it?

It absolutely is, Kelly.

In the last year alone, there has been over 1,000 brand new people get into the real estate

business.

Over 1,000!

The sad part about it is that within the next 2 years, 80% of those will be gone.

Right.

Because, they weren't prepared.

They didn't what to do.

Nobody mentored them.

Nobody really trained them on what to do.

What I would tell Joni is move away from the idea of how much my commission split is and

focus on momentum.

Focus on getting into an environment where somebody is going to mentor you, and actually

take you by the hand and show you want to do.

We have two different options in our office.

One of them for the more senior agent that knows what they're doing and doesn't need

any help.

We also have a mentorship program and we do everything for you, basically, as far as lead

generation, contract to close, a social media expert, listing manager.

We have all that for you, so you can focus on the things that matter most and that's

helping people find a home.

Right.

That's something that's really, really lacking in the real estate industry and that's why

you're seeing that 80% flush.

It's interesting because so many other businesses have that opportunity.

When they bring somebody new on, they help them for a year or two.

Did you know it's more difficult to become a hairdresser than to it is a real estate

agent?

Really?!

It's 10 times more difficult.

And you're dealing with some really big things.

This is a big, big deal!

I was originally planning to make better video

but I got a migraine.... again.

So only little vlog

as you can see I am recording on my phone

therefore sorry for the quality and shakiness

because my hand

of course for everyone who is not czech

so no problem there :)

some of you might know

that last year in august I was at the Summer in the city for the first time

which is the biggest UK youtube event

it takes place in London every year

at this event I met few of my favourite youtubers

I was vlogging

at the beginning i wanted to do lot of vlogs and was filming a lot

but unfortunately the quality was horrible

the biggest problem is the sound when you are inside the hall

lots of noise

it's impossible to listen to

so today i just wanted to do this little vlog

just to tell you about my experience

whom I have met

And I will be attending this year

as a volunteer

so I am not really sure about possibilities to vlog

if there will be any free time

so that's to be seen

of course i will try to make it work

not sure why but again I feel like speaking english preferably as czech is hard for me :D

just to mention about the SitC experience

amazing ambience

I really enjoyed it, it was definitely worth it

He is awesome guy :)

then I met Beckie Jane Brown

spent an hour talking with her sister at her table :D

as i said I had migraine yesterday so I am still bit messed up

and I was packing a while ago

as I am off to London in like 30 minutes :D

so at this moment

I am not really sure if this is a good idea right now

but i thought it would be great to film it and then i can edit it on the way

and see what comes out of it

it is all pretty much just a quick update to let you know that Iam going to SiTC this year

and i will try to film something again

like i did any video from last year......

but that's just me

and by the way I am going to London Comic Con too :)

going to try vlogging there

we'll see

as I keep saying, will try to vlog and update

still thinking if i should go for czech or english

probably depends on the situations

but i want to add subtitles to all videos, czech and english
