hey everyone it's James from fun foods and today I'm going to show you how to make this giant

jawbreaker this was a lot of fun making this it was a lot of hard work but it's

well worth it because look at it it's amazing look how big this thing is so

keep watching and I'll show you step-by-step how to make this now the

first thing we do to make this start off with a very large heavy bottom pot and to

that I want to add five cups of sugar we're also going to add two cups

of water and one cup of light corn syrup when all your contents are in your big

pot take this over to the stove we're going to heat it up and stir it until

all that sugar has dissolved now just turn on your stove and you want to put

it on medium heat right now and stir your contents up so at this point you

see my liquid has turned clear so what we'll do at this point is add some blue

food coloring you can use whatever color you want be careful adding it because it

might steam up and mix that around now we'll pull this out and we're going to

put in our candy thermometer and make sure the candy thermometer is touching

the water but not touching the bottom and we're going to wait until it gets to

300 degrees Fahrenheit that's the hard crack stage and we're going to leave a

be and let's stay there so while my liquid is over on the stove heating up its not quite at

300 degrees yet I'm going to come over here to my little pan

these are little baking pans that I use to make circle cakes you can make a

baseball basketball something like that you can get them at any store I'll put a link in

the description below to Amazon where you can get them on there if you like

I'm just going to butter them up but it has some soft butter and a paper towel

and I'm just going to basically grease the inside of it grease it really good

so it will make it easier for our jawbreakers to come out

okay so soon as it reaches 300 degrees Fahrenheit we can pull out our candy

thermometer turn off your heat and I have a dram of bubble gum flavoring I'm

only going to pour part of this in here I'll be very careful pouring it in here

because you're putting some cooler liquid into very very hot liquid so it

might seem it make sure it doesn't splash I'm only going to pour half of that in

there and mix it through now at this point be very careful this is extremely

hot as you saw it up to 300 degrees I'm wearing some extra large oven gloves

we're going to pour these into our thing and this is only gonna pour into one and

be careful pouring it into it that you don't mix or don't miss it make sure it's on

its holder and make sure this is a safe spot so no kids touch it or anything it's

going to be a few hours for it to cool down now let my two halves of my

jawbreakers firm up overnight they're completely cool and before we get them

out of these containers the first thing we need to do is make another small

batch so that we can join them together so what I'm going to do is a smaller pot

I want to add two cups of sugar I'm going to add 1/2 cup of water and 1/4 of

cup of light corn syrup

we're just going to take this over the stove heat it up to 300 degrees

Fahrenheit just like we did the first time go through the same steps and when

that's all done we'll come right back now while our other part of our

jawbreaker is on the stove heating up what I'm gonna do is loosen up around the edges to

get these jawbreakers out I only want get one out completely right now but I'm

still going to loosen the other one up we're going to leave one in there so

when we put the other part on there we can have something stable to hold it so

I'm just going to use offset spatula or you use a butter knife and try to go

around the edges and loosen it up now that our small batch is ready it reached

300 degrees Fahrenheit I'm going to pour a small amount on top of this keeping

this inside the ball and this is going to act as the glue joining the two

halves so pour some in here now I'm going to

take the other half which I've already removed and gently put it in here you

don't want to splash and you don't want to touch your fingers at all and make

sure it's on there really good doesn't need as long as the first half because it's

not as much liquid in there but make sure it's on there really good let it

firm up and we'll come back to it well after I let this sit overnight

this half worked out perfect this half not so much so this half

didn't quite harden up the way this half did I think because I cooked this one a

little bit more at a higher temperature it went to like 305 this time I am going

to try it again and I'm going to do all the same steps you just seen I'm going

to color this one orange so you can see the difference and we're just going to

do the exact same thing but this time I want to bring it to a higher temperature

I'm going to wait until 305 or three and when it gets to 305 degrees

Fahrenheit or 310 degrees Fahrenheit that's when I'll pull it off and then

we'll try that way now also on the second one I am going to try to make a

little easier to get it out of our molds again just like last time I'm going to

butter it

now in addition to butter in it I also have some confectionery sugar I'm gonna

sprinkle in each one so we want to coat these really good just kind of tap

around so after these hardened up outside at room temperature for about two

to three hours I put them in the refrigerator to help the process along

a bit they've been refrigerator another two hours from there so what I'm

going to do now is try to take them out of its container which is going to be

difficult but I'm going to use a knife and go around the edge to loosen it up

okay after that's done I'm going to try to pop them out I don't think they'll

come out yet so I'm just going to turn them over on some wax paper Wow came out

quite easy I'm surprised so this is my 1/2 it's nice and hard I'm going to put

it down right like that and I'm going to try to do the other half the same way

I'm just going to turn over really hard on some wax paper and it worked out good

now we're going to make the glue that holds both of our halves together and to

do that we are going to use two cups of sugar I have one cup of sugar already in

there another cup here and then half a cup of water and only 1/4 of a cup of

light corn syrup and then we're going to bring this over to the stove we're going

to heat it up we're going to do this exact same process we did before but

just with a lot less ingredients so our glue is done cooking it's nice hot it

reached a little over three hours degrees about 3:05 I'm going to put a

thin layer on one of these and I guess I'll I'll put on this one right here so

I'm just going to pour a very little bit on here

good and I'm gonna spread it out I'm going to put on one of my gloves because

I want to be very careful not to touch

this I want to line it up just perfectly

there we go so now what we need to do is let this harden up before we move on to

the next step and to facilitate that I'm going to flip this back in a

refrigerator it shouldn't take too long now because it's only a thin layer so

maybe an hour now that my jawbreaker is completely firmed everything is together

it's looking good now we're going to decorate it a bit because if you know a

jawbreaker usually has a whole bunch of different colors splatter all over it

what I've done was taking some food coloring like this and put it in

individual bowls and I have a brand new toothbrush this has never been used

before so if you're going to share this with me don't worry I didn't brush my

teeth with this I'm going to dip this in here and kind of splatter it all over

the ball different colors different patterns it doesn't matter it'll be

unique and let's do that and let's see I'm just going to kind of splatter away here

and I took propulsion by putting some wax paper around so that I don't make a

mess over for my kitchen and then between colors are just wash my drawers

my toothbrush and now I'm off to the next color now if you notice my fingers

nice bright and pink but things I do for you too

nothing on her resisting arrest is definitely one of

them she doesn't have a warrant for arrest

bike it's a tried bike I know these are about fifteen hundred dollars so that's

above six hundred dollars again I sometimes go on the rules of the state

that I live in anything over six hundred dollars is a felony theft it's not petty

theft anymore going to get it get it impounded or sold back to its owner glad

to see so yeah George you're going to go to jail for Seth tonight and be in a

position of solar properties is this is stolen property I don't know what you're

doing stealing other people's bikes man it's not it's not cool that's not cool

Battlefield 1 CTE PS4 + Xbox One - Duration: 7:12.

Hey everyone, I'm Aaron here with A/C Gaming,

And today we're talking about something that many Battlefield 1 players have long been waiting for;

We are talking about DICE and EA bringing the Community Test Environment,

Known as the "CTE"

To Battlefield 1 players on both PlayStation 4 and Xbox One platforms.

So, for those of you who don't know what the CTE is,

It is a program by which Battlefield 1 players can try out the game's new content

Long before that content is ever released.

This program is EXTREMELY beneficial to DICE and EA

As it allows players to test out whatever the developers are working on,

And then give them feedback so that they can then improve the content based on what the community wants.

Now, that's awesome!

Players are able to provide feedback DIRECTLY to DICE,

The company LISTENS to what players are saying,

And then DICE subsequently IMPROVES Battlefield 1's content based on what the community wants.

Now, that's pretty cool.

We know how successful a game Battlefield 1 has already been,

But the fact that DICE and EA are STILL interested in what Battlefield 1 players have to say -

And not only that, but they're willing to improve the game based on whatever the community wants! -

That in itself is a MAJOR game changer.

So yeah,

That is the CTE in a nutshell.

Players get to try out Battlefield 1's newest content weeks, or even MONTHS, ahead of that content's release,

They provide feedback to DICE and EA,

And then the game is improved!

Sounds great, right?

Well, yeah ...

But there's one problem:

The CTE is currently available only for PC players.

Now, for PC players, that's great!

For others of us gamers, however, the ones who enjoy playing on our PlayStation 4 or Xbox One consoles,

The CTE seems to be simply an intangible fantasy.

But not for long!

Now, don't get me wrong, I understand that DICE has been saying:

"CTE is coming to consoles!"

For quite some time now.

But there is an issue that has always gotten in the way.

And here it is:

DICE has sought to release the CTE on three different platforms:

Microsoft's Xbox One, Sony's PlayStation 4, and on Origin for the PC.

Now, keep in mind, in order for the CTE to go live on any of these platforms,

The company that owns each specific platform

Must first approve the CTE on their respective console.

And you have to remember: each of these companies has a different process of certification.

As for Origin,

Well,

Origin is actually owned by EA, so approving the CTE, and making routine updates to the CTE on Origin

Is not too difficult of a task for EA to complete.

However, as for the PS4 and Xbox One,

Sony and Microsoft have been much more cautious.

See,

The CTE is basically a second instance of Battlefield 1.

And with DICE frequently updating that second instance of Battlefield 1,

Sony and Microsoft are unsure as to whether or not the Xbox One and PS4 consoles will be capable of withstanding such a load.

Essentially, Microsoft and Sony want to be sure that the CTE will not cause their respective consoles to malfunction.

And, although it is not pleasant for console players to have to wait,

Sony and Microsoft's cautious approach to the matter is definitely understandable.

So now comes the question:

"When is the Battlefield 1 Community Test Environment coming to PS4 and Xbox One consoles?"

Although a specific release date has not yet been announced,

Things are looking very promising based on the words of mischkag,

A netcode engineer at DICE.

Mischkag commented in the Battlefield 1 Forums: quote,

"Consoles on CTE should be up very soon...

I'll keep you posted...

For the ones of you with premium, it would be nice to see you joining CTE with all the improvements we made...

And provide feedback here."

Exciting, isn't it?

But keep in mind, mischkag ...

By the way, please forgive me if I'm pronouncing that incorrectly.

But mischkag stated:

"For the ones of you with PREMIUM ...

It would be nice to see you joining CTE."

So keep in mind, in order to access Battlefield 1's Community Test Environment once it does go live on consoles,

You will need to have purchased a Battlefield 1 Premium Pass.

Battlefield.com also states: quote,

"REGISTRATION DOES NOT GUARANTEE ACCESS TO BATTLEFIELD 1 CTE."

Basically, by registering for the CTE, you will essentially be APPLYING for acceptance.

The Battlefield website indicates, that, for PC players,

Preference will be granted to Battlefield veterans.

And, chances are,

DICE will likely take a similar approach when accepting players into the console CTE's.

So, if you have a history of playing multiple Battlefield titles on your console,

You may be more likely to be accepted into the console CTE's, once they go live.
