Naoki: I think it was also to do with the backing like instrumentals like it wasn't so much fixated on like the scale motion like
Naoki: establishing mode, but it was just like going [sings] like Shimon: with like the rhythm and the intensity from like the percussion and
Shimon: The instrumentation was a lot more convincing as well
Shimon: Well, like you said they really relied on the Phrygian mode Naoki: or whatever mode it was yeah

Naoki: there were some minor thirds in there
Naoki: But it wasn't so evident like I think it was because of the quality of the sound they like muffled it a little bit
Naoki: So it wasn't quite so piercing just sounded dirtier which works
