Youtube daily Dec 4 2018

alright now what you just watched was my Google Chromecast it's actually a

version 2 device playing on my TV and it was also playing in a Google Home

application group so it was multi-room audio or multi speaker audio there that

you were watching now why would you want to do this why would you want to use a

Google Chromecast well obviously in a lot of homes in North America and the

world over the best speaker in the home is attached to the TV people have the

surround systems all of those big speakers or even the TV itself tends to

be a great speaker in general so you know what guys it's time to get using

your TV and its speaker system in your Google Home it's multi-room audio if

this is your first time on automate your life go ahead click that subscribe

button down below obviously a video like today what I'm

here to do is give you back time in your life a couple things before we get going

you need to be a part of the preview program today that obviously won't be

the case for very long but right now you need version 1.3 6 or better in order to

have your Google Chromecast and that's a version 2 or a version 3 of the device

and if you have either of those two versions and 1.36 this is now available

to you to play music with the other thing you're going to want to do unless

you want to use your remote every time on your TV is make sure that your HDMI

ports can turn on the TV so my Google Chromecast initially couldn't actually

turn on my TV and I have a Panasonic TV I had to turn on basically the wake on

our wake by device setting on my TV once I'd done that then I was good to go and

basically as soon as I started music my TV turned on so let me show you a quick

demo of how that slave foo fighters on basement chrome

sure food fighters from Google Play Music

planning on basement chrome vol 2 a hundred percent next song

so there you go obviously I could start and stop the music and I was controlling

it through one of these devices you saw me controlling it using this but this is

the Google Home Hub if you don't know but anyways I could control it through

this I could start and stop music and this visual interface I think was really

really helpful to show you that the song was playing and moving along there and

that the control was going on and when I said start and stop I could see that you

could see I could also raise and lower the volume your TV still has an

up-and-down volume that you can use as well so Google Chromecast is not

actually changing the volume on your TV it's changing the input volume to the

Chromecast and therefore the volume overall but you can also adjust your

TV's volume if you've maxed out the Chromecast you want it louder or quiet

or whatever what have you the other thing I could do is I could go ahead and

move back and forward in the in terms of songs I could obviously change artists

if I'd like or playlists if you're capable of doing that with a music

service you're capable of doing that on your Chromecast from now on so in terms

of actually getting your Chromecast working with that that's about it you

can obviously control it through the app on your phone if you'd like you can go

through the casting capability there but ultimately I like the voice control and

using another one of these devices but you do not need that to actually work

you can go ahead and use the Google Home app now moving on to multi-room audio

and using a Chromecast within a multi-room audio system now what you can

do is you can go ahead and create a group now I created a group called Jim

group and that's as simple as hitting the Add button at the top and going

ahead and adding the different devices you'd like to that group and once you've

done that and you make sure you add your Chromecast to that group then you're

able to use basically that voice interface or again use the application

to go ahead and cast music to it so let me show you a quick demo obvious

all the same commands are going to work in terms of moving back and forth

between songs next in previous volume up and down choosing your artist choosing a

playlist choosing genre even with it whatever you'd like but ultimately

here's a quick demo of that getting started play Foo Fighters on gym group

alright Foo Fighters on Google Play Music playing on gym group.

a couple things you're going to notice right off the bat there was no longer a

visual interface on the Chromecast and I don't know how long it'll be that way

for but for myself Chromecast stops showing the actual

album cover from the band that I was playing it started showing ambient mode

so that much had changed what you were actually watching to was a Chromecast

Audio the Google Home Hub a Google Chromecast in my Google Chromecast which

is a version 2 so that's what you were watching and all four of those devices

were synchronized now talking about synchronization because that is the most

difficult component of this whole scenario and it's not going to be easy

for me to walk each one of you through how to do this but here's what I'm going

to tell you in terms of setting up and synchronizing a Google Chromecast with

these types of devices now first things first

what I'll say is my Google Chromecast was the device that was the furthest

ahead in terms of how far the song had been played into so it was the one that

was the furthest ahead the one that was the furthest behind was actually my

Google Home my standard Google Home device this was somewhere in the middle

or very close to my Google Home and the Google Chromecast

the Chromecast Audio rather was very close to my Google Chromecast so you

know in general what I'll tell you to do is find the device that's the furthest

ahead in the song and find the device that's the furthest behind in the song

and what you do is you delay the speaker or the or the Chromecast in my case it

was the Chromecast I had to delay that the full 200

milliseconds that you have use of the slider basically inside of the

application I had to defer that 200 milliseconds

fully to get it to basically synchronize with this device now that's what you

have to do you identify the first and last speaker and then you just make them

all meet that last speaker based on delay

unfortunately if you have too much delay for some reason you're not going to be

able to do this I wouldn't expect it it's kind of

expected that all the audio in your home should be around that time line but if

you have additional Wi-Fi devices like a Wi-Fi extender that's going to be

something that's going to add another delay to your system

if you have other hops or other hubs things that are kind of taking up lots

of traffic you may run into extra delay so now let me actually show you really

quickly you can see in the first part of this there is that funny delay and

really all I'm doing is moving that slider on my Google Chromecast to match

up with my Google Home here and then both of them are synchronized and at

that point I'm able to synchronize everything so you can see from the first

to the last part of this next demo the differential and you can actually hear

it synchronizing

now just to make sure you guys have everything clear here I'm going to do a

little demo just on my phone here to show you all the different components

you're going to need the first thing I'm going to show you in the Google Home

application is how to make sure you're on the preview program so in the bottom

right of the Google Home application there's basically a Settings icon you

click on that and you go in and then you tap on settings once inside of settings

you're going to see account preferences tap on that and go to email

notifications inside of there you can see the preview program for Chromecast

and Google Home now once you tap that and you make sure that that settings

basically on you're going to need to wait a little while for your Chromecast

to upgrade if you don't already have version 1.3 6 and once that occurs then

you're able to use it in music and audio now in order to check that your device

actually has the right version on it you need to go to the settings of the actual

device so from the home screen in the Google Home application you then tap on

the device and then the gear up in the top right and scroll all the way down

through the device settings to the bottom where you will see 1.36

or whatever the cast firmware version is that you have on the device at this time

now moving on to creating a speaker group in the Google Home application

again the add button on the front page is what you tap on then you're choosing

create a speaker group and now you choose the different devices now you can

see top left my basement chrome that is a Chromecast that's the version 2 that

I'm using in this demo but you could have a version 2 or a version 3 as long

as you have that right firmware version now you can tap on all the different

devices you'd like to add and then you simply put in a group name again I'm

calling mine gym group for this demo once that group is create

you can go in later into that same group and adjust which devices are in that

group so you're not stuck here you simply go into the settings top right

and then you scroll down and you tap on choose devices and you could add other

devices if you'd like or remove devices if you'd like as well once you've

created that group any application with a cast icon in it anywhere will be able

to choose that group so you can see that I can choose the jim group and there I

go I'm casting now to that group in terms of synchronizing audio within a

multi room or multi speaker system inside of a Google Chromecast or a

Chromecast Audio device in the Google Home application you will actually see

the word sync audio or a button to press on once you press on that you do get the

slider and this is where you adjust it and it takes about a second for your

speaker to actually adjust to the new delay that you've input so as you move

that back and forth give it a second make sure you you let the speaker adjust

once it's adjusted go ahead and listen to the two speakers independently what I

was doing was literally putting my ear up to each of the devices and then just

moving back and forth between them now in terms of a Google Home a Google Home

Mini or a Google Home Hub it actually says that the synchronization process

which you have to find in the devices settings in the case of those devices it

actually says it's only working this this delay is only working with

Bluetooth that's not actually the case I was able to adjust the delay on those

devices as I wanted to so I'm thinking this is just a typo and that Google will

remove that over time all right there you go guys obviously now you can get

your Google Chromecast version 2 or version 3 setup connected and playing

music in your home you can use that TV speaker and you can also go ahead and

use it in in the Google Home world here so go

ahead do that get it set up and of course if you have any questions

comments your you're really struggling with something go ahead leave them down

below in the comments I'm happy to help as far as I can obviously with that that

piece of troubleshooting there in terms of synchronizing your speakers that's

going to be relatively difficult for me to help with but you know I'm always

gonna try for you guys so again everyone thanks for watching and we'll see you

next time

Woman Says Republicans Paid Her To Illegally Collect Ballots In North Carolina Race - Duration: 3:33.

In case you haven't been following along with what is happening in North Carolina as a ninth

district, they have still not certified the results of that election from the November

midterms and for good reason, the Democratic challenger had already conceded.

He lost by about 700 votes and he conceded to his Republican opponent, but the, uh, board

of elections would not certify the results because as it turns out, they've uncovered

massive fraud taking place at the hands of the Republicans and the people who actually

worked for the Republican candidate.

Yesterday, we found out that a woman by the name of Ginger Easen, she was paid by a man

by the name of Leslie McCray, Dallas Jr, who worked for the Republican candidate, a Mark

Harris.

He paid her to go around and collect absentee ballots.

They would go to people's homes, not just this woman, but there were several.

According to sworn affidavits, they would go to people's homes.

Say, Hey, we know you've got an absentee ballot.

Why don't you give it to us so we can go ahead and take it in for you and get that handled.

This woman Ginger Easen.

And says she was paid 75 to $100 to go around and collect these absentee ballots where she

then gave them to Dallas Jr.

Again, the man working for Mark Harris, the republican candidates campaign.

Dallas then did not turn in the ballots.

Every step of this process is 100 percent illegal.

You are not to go around and collect absentee ballots.

Those are to be mailed back or dropped off by the voter themselves.

You cannot go around and collect those, and more importantly, you can't just collect them

and then make them disappear, which appears to be what has happened in the state of North

Carolina, at least in that ninth district.

This is absolutely appalling.

Now we have seen horrible actions by republicans in these midterms.

We saw the massive voter suppression in Georgia.

We had massive voter purges in Florida.

Both of those helped republicans maintain control of those states.

Had these been fair elections, we would have Georgia governor Stacy Abrams and Florida

governor Andrew Gillum.

Unfortunately, the republican voter suppression voter purging was a little too much to overcome

at this time, but what is happening in North Carolina is even more disgusting because they

are literally taking people's ballots and making them disappear in a race that was decided

by 700 votes, this race is probably going to flip Mark Harris, the republican candidate,

and all the people that he worked for hiM that went around and did this should be in

jail.

Now we don't know for sure at tHis point if harris knew this was happening, but if he

did, one hundRed percent should go to jail, and if he didn't, then he should go ahead

and withdraw from the race because he was too stupid to understand what was happening

in his own campaign.

No matter what.

This doesn't end well for him.

This doesn't end with him sitting in a house of representatives anywhere.

It most likely ins with him sitting in a prison cell.

My Boyfriend Sent Private Pictures of Me To EVERYONE - Duration: 3:16.

So it all started off with me going out with this boy that was head over heels

with and one night were tasting cuz you were kind of going out at that time

but it was kind of like on and off, you know. And so, he asked me for a pic, and I was dumb enough to say

yes cuz I would literally do anything for him. And then I sent something and it

wasn't full. It was like just half pic so it wasn't that bad but he said he

wouldn't show anyone. But then one of his friends took his phone and sent the

picture to him and then sent it to a whole year. And so vivid memory that I

have is just coming into school and seeing everyone had this picture of me

on that phone that was meant for this one person. And then like all my

confidence was just completely shattered by this stupid picture. I felt broken.

I was so hot inside and so I dealt with it for two weeks and

then the teachers found out and had to get called into the heads office.

And they had told me I had to go and tell my mom that will happen and my family.

And the police were they gonna get involved.

it just started bursting out crying when

I found out because I just never would have imagined myself with the police,

with this stupid mistake I've done and this picture getting circulated I've

been practically getting cyberbully by these stupid boys who thought they had

the power of me. And so I had a meeting with the police they already kind to me

saying "this happens all the time like don't worry it's not your fault that

this picture got circulated it's the boys fault" And so boys got really really

badly told off. And I thought they'd learned their lesson. So months passed I

the stupid thing that I did and said I kept going out with this boy

because he apologized and I thought you meant it. So one night

were texting and then he just sent me a picture it's saying #sendnudes

with laughing emojis. I'll it she started crying and I was

like would you do that to me and I was just swearing and I was just like so mad

at him for saying that after what he put me through.

And so he said "this was not on my fault it was all your fault for sending it" and

then he blocked me on snapchat and then like unfollowed him on like social media.

So I'm still to this day he's speaking so bad about me behind my back calling

me you know shallow, calling me horrible words but I would never say

about him. And I wanted to post this story because I want to like one girls

in the world but this could happen to any one. Just be careful I hope this can

teach you a lesson.

2 Stocks To Watch This Week: Amazon (AMZN) and Tiffany & Co. (TIF) - Duration: 2:57.

Jason Moser: Matt, it's about that time this week. We're going to wrap things up with our one to watch.

What is the stock that you'll be watching this week?

Matt Frankel: It's not really a financial sector stock. I'm looking at Amazon.

We talked about them quite a bit. They're down roughly 25% from the highs.

I think their new payments system is going to have some traction.

Like I said, I personally think that PayPal and the others are going to lose a little

bit of their growth trajectory because Amazon has a big existing customer base for this

to really play well with. And not just because of that.

I think Amazon is a good value.

I thought Amazon was a pretty decent value at about $2,000 a share.

I really think it's a good value now.

There's talk of them offering some kind of co-branded checking account product.

Maybe they'll be a financial sector stock after all.

I love Amazon this week! Moser: Time will tell,

I put nothing past them. That's a good one! I'm going to go with Tiffany, ticker TIF, this week.

I know this may seem a little bit of an odd pick, because it's not directly a financial.

But I've covered Tiffany for a number of years now.

What I have found is that Tiffany is a very good indicator of how the economy is doing

and how the market thinks the economy is going to be doing in the coming quarters.

You know what we're in right now? It's what I like to call the Larry David economy.

Everything is pretty, pretty, pretty good. And I hope that will continue.

But I think on Wednesday, when Tiffany's earnings come out,

we'll get a better idea. Management recently had raised

guidance last quarter, which was impressive.

They're going to be investing a lot in their New York flagship store in the coming year.

That really does matter for a company like Tiffany that depends on that physical presence.

What they do that I think is so phenomenal, they really protect that brand so well.

It's a luxury brand. They don't resort to fire sales.

You're not going to find big Cyber Monday, half off deals with Tiffany.

They protect that brand and do a very good job.

When times are good, like they are right now, the stock feels it, and it looks like it's feeling it right now.

When times get a little tough, certainly, the stock feels it again.

Honestly, that's where investors need to consider potentially investing in a business like this,

when times get a little bit tougher.

I'm sure on Wednesday, we'll get a better idea of what management sees coming around

for the next full year, certainly the holiday quarter guidance.

A lot of things you can glean from this luxury retailer in Tiffany's. We'll keep an eye on it.

Foreign Stocks: Worth Buying for Your Portfolio? - Duration: 4:46.

Robert Brokamp: So far we have talked about mostly classic American foodstuffs.

But if you look at your table, you might see a little bit of influence from other countries

and at my family's table, the most prominent, especially for the vegetarians, is macaroni and cheese.

It actually has a Greek origin, both the product as well as the name.

Alison Southwick: What? Macaroni and cheese is Greek?

Brokamp: Well, the macaroni part.

Southwick: OK.

Brokamp: The macaroni started with Greece, then moved to Italy.

And then in the 1700s in England the term macaroni started being applied to people who

were basically dandies. Like they tried to bring European influences to England.

Overdress a little bit. Engdahl: Maybe stick a feather in their hat.

Southwick: Yeah, they stick a feather... Brokamp: I was just getting to that.

So Yankee Doodle originally was written by a British surgeon making fun of Americans

who put a feather in their cap and then thought that made them look more sophisticated.

But then the Americans were like, "We love it!"

Southwick: We love pasta! Brokamp: We love it!

We're going to embrace it. Southwick: Yeah, why not?

Brokamp: Now Yankee Doodle is the state song of Connecticut.

Southwick: Oh, really?

Brokamp: As for macaroni and cheese, that started in England and is now very popular in America.

So, when it comes to your portfolio this, of course, is your international allocation.

Southwick: I was wondering how you were going to get there. Wow!

Brokamp: We don't have as good stats on international stocks, so for this I'm just going to go back to 1970.

Since then international stocks have provided an average 8.9% a year.

We mentioned a couple of episodes ago about how many people, like Jack Bogle of Vanguard,

think international investing is not necessary.

There's certainly no evidence that international stocks outperform U.S. stocks over the long term,

plus many U.S. companies have plenty of business overseas, and I generally agree.

That said, I do have significant allocation in my own portfolio, as well as is in the

Rule Your Retirement model portfolios.

I should finish with the nutritional facts, here, and that's the average annual return of 8.9%.

The best year was 70%. So it's pretty good. Worst year a loss of 43%.

What do these overall target-fund date allocations look at?

What are those looking at in terms of international stocks?

Basically around 28% for non-U.S. developed [so that's Canada, England, Western Europe

generally speaking], and then 6-7% emerging markets.

So in my little allocation, here, the macaroni and cheese is the developed and the

emerging markets are the lentils on your table... Southwick: Oh, man, I love lentils!

Brokamp: I know you love lentils! Southwick: Like some curried lentils that your

vegan sister-in-law brought. Is that what it is? Brokamp: Right, something like that.

So basically they are looking at allocating more than a third of your stock portfolio

to international stocks.

Most Americans are not there, and even I have in my allocations closer to like 30%.

The tricky thing about emerging markets is the data for emerging markets, depending on

what you look at.

There's some data sources that say they outperform all other types of stocks and other data that

say they underperform all other types of stocks, partially because the data on some of these

emerging markets is not so good and there's some debate on what makes an emerging market;

for example, South Korea. Is that an emerging market or not?

Southwick: It feels pretty emerged.

Brokamp: But the thing is if you're going to go international, you're going to get more

volatility in the U.S. stocks, and the more you tilt your portfolio towards emerging markets,

it's going to get crazy.

So keep that relatively small, especially if you're not a particularly risk-tolerant investor.

A few months ago I did a survey of investment return assumptions across many of the major firms.

The vast majority expect emerging markets to outperform U.S. stocks over the next decade.

There's going to be a lot of volatility along the way and, of course, who knows if that

will actually happen in the end.

Southwick: So you have a valid reason for maybe not loading up on lentils and not offending...

Brokamp: I'm just staying you don't need lentils to have a perfectly fine Thanksgiving meal.

Engdahl: Just enough to be polite. Brokamp: [Laughs] There you go!

Custom Traveler's Notebook Review and Setup! Unboxing from Handmade Shop, LeCow - Duration: 7:44.

Hi! It's Lauren, and today I'm going to open and review my first custom

traveler's notebook cover. I've been kind of eyeing covers like this for a while

now. I knew when I got into traveler's notebooks that you end up wanting to get

more and more of them and as soon as I kind of started putting that vibe out

into the universe and actually looking at and researching custom traveler's

notebook covers, out of nowhere, I got a message from somebody who makes them. So

an Etsy shop called Le Cow out in Taiwan handmakes these beautiful leather

travelers notebook covers and asked me to design my own custom one. So I

received this in exchange for a review video. Their Etsy shop is set up in a

really interesting way where they have all kinds of customizations that you can

make and add-ons and things like that, so depending on what kinds of pockets and

add-ons you need for your traveler's notebook, they can make one that fits you

exactly. I love supporting other Etsy shops, as an Etsy seller myself I know how

much work goes into it, so I'm really excited to see what they made for me, I

have not opened this yet. I've really wanted to but I waited because I wanted

to get my reaction on camera. So just in case you are also considering having a

custom travelers notebook cover made, I hope that this process is interesting to

you and maybe might be a little bit helpful. Alright, so let's see how this

turned out. It's wrapped up really securely and nicely, there's bubble wrap

on the outside. This is what their packaging looks like, the whole notebook

cover is wrapped up in this brown paper and it's tied up with some twine and

they've tied on a leather tag in the shape of Taiwan, which is a really nice

touch and one of their business cards as well. So moment of truth, I'm gonna open

it up. I'm so excited!

Wow! Oh my gosh. Look at this! This is so nice. My initial impressions are that my

color choices were awesome [laughs]. I'm really glad I decided to add some interesting

colors, one really cool thing about this particular Etsy shop is that they have a

lot of different colors for not only the elastic, but also the stitching that goes

around the notebook. I chose just kind of a classic brown for the notebook itself

but then I saw that they had an option for me to add a reinforced spine and

that you can choose a different leather for that, so I chose this dark blue

leather. I believe the color was called sapphire so between the dark blue spine

and the light blue stitching and elastic, I feel like this is something that I

couldn't actually find in a store just the way it is. The fact that I was able

to custom order this makes it so that I can have something that's really special

and unique. They did warn me when I chose the "camel" leather specifically that it's a

little bit stiffer than their other leather choices. I ended up sticking with

it anyway, I honestly don't have that much experience with leather notebooks.

My other travelers notebook this size is a faux leather so I didn't really have

anything to compare it to. My hope was that over time, as I use this and travel

with it and it gets a little bit beat up and worn, that it will soften up a little

bit. But for now it feels nice and tough and durable and I like that about it. The

extra reinforced spine might also be contributing to that. All right, so now

I'm gonna open it up and see what the inside looks like. Oh, look at that! [something falls out]. Oh, they included a

note in the pocket! "hi Lauren thanks for your generosity and

kindness, hope you'll enjoy and love LeCow's products." I just noticed that

the back of the note has some care instructions for the notebook cover,

which is very helpful. They did include a blank notebook in here, I'm gonna take

that out just so we can see the notebook a little bit better. So the first thing

that caught my eye is that I added this large wing pocket to the front inside

cover and there are lots of little places where I could stick things. If you

hear any yelling downstairs, it's because my kid is having a blast with his dad

while I'm filming this. Most of the options that they have for you to choose

from in the realm of pockets are these flip out wing pockets, which I had never

seen before and the more I thought about it, the more I felt like it was kind of

perfect because you can actually swing it out this way and when you have your

notebook open and you're writing in it, you have better access to

all the things that are going in these pockets. On my other travelers notebook

which is a Webster's pages notebook, all of the pockets are on the inside cover,

so in order to access them, I have to flip the notebook back and find my page

again later. So I'm definitely interested to see how this particular setup

improves my journaling workflow. I asked them to add four elastics on the binding

which is what I'm used to with the Webster's pages notebook and it's kind

of the happy medium that I've found, but you can always add more elastics by

using extra elastics which they actually included! That's a really nice little

extra that they included that I wasn't expecting. On the back cover of the

notebook, I asked them to add a pen loop which is something that I find to be

really helpful. Let me test to see if my pen fits.

I use a uniball signo gel pen for most of my journaling and it fits in there

just fine. There's actually a little bit of extra space in there, so if you have a

slightly thicker pen that you tend to use for journaling, it's very likely that

that will fit in there. So one of the big questions that I had when I was looking

through their Etsy shop and trying to decide which notebook customizations to

order is that they offer these in a lot of different sizes and I wasn't 100%

sure which size to order. I ended up choosing the Midori wide size over the

narrow, even though the narrow is more of an exact fit for the travelers company

traveler's notebook inserts, which were the ones that I typically use and I

wanted to see if ordering the wide would give me a little extra space in there. So

now I'm going to test out how my existing travelers notebook inserts fit

in this new notebook just so you can see if getting the wide will give you the

amount of extra space that you want. This is my current daily journaling insert,

it's a traveler's company blank refill. I'm gonna put that on the first elastic

and even just looking at this, I feel like the little bit of extra space

probably was a good decision. I'm putting this zipper pouch with a bunch of

pockets that I keep a lot of different stickers in on the second elastic and

then on the third elastic, I'm putting my travel journal and then I usually leave

the fourth elastic open for whatever else I want to put in when I'm going on

a trip. So this actually turned out to be the perfect size for what I need! I'm

really glad that I got this one. There's room for more, but they're not swimming

in there and I think it's just kind of the perfect amount of extra space. The

reinforced spine is also kind of the perfect width for the amount

of things that I've put in there. I also just keep looking at this light blue

stitching and I really love what it adds to that just plain Brown of the cover.

Probably my one complaint is that the pen loop has a little bit of extra space

before it starts, it kind of hangs out on this tab. Which, if I tuck the pen into

the elastic it's kind of fine, but I do worry that when I throw this in my bag

and I'm traveling that it might fall out like this and it does hold the pen

pretty securely, but it's gonna move around a whole lot so I don't know how

much I like that. but the rest of it is just really well made, you really can't

beat like a beautiful handmade leather journal. This is something really special

that someone took the time to make for me all the way across the world and I

just appreciate it so much. So if you're interested in having a custom leather

travelers notebook made exactly to your specifications, I'm gonna put information

in the video description below so you can find them and see all of the different

options and see if this is something that you want to order for yourself. I'd

like to thank LeCow for sending me this notebook, it's absolutely beautiful.

I'm so excited to go journal with this! This is so nice.

Small-Cap vs. Micro-Cap vs. Mid-Cap Stocks - Duration: 4:26.

Robert Brokamp: Now let's move on to the next item on our Thanksgiving investment menu -- potatoes!

Likely of the mashed variety. What are the potatoes of your portfolio?

I say U.S. small caps.

And while the phrase small potatoes usually denotes something of little consequence,

the historical returns of small-cap stocks are, well, spud-tacular.

Since 1926, U.S. small-cap stocks have returned 12.1% a year, so about 2% more a year than large caps.

The best year was 143%. The worst year was down 58%.

Now this Morningstar Target-Date Report didn't break out small caps, specifically.

Instead they grouped small caps and mid caps together, what many people call SMID.

Alison Southwick: SMID! Brokamp: There you go!

But by looking at the allocations of some of the biggest target-date funds, I could

see that roughly speaking, for most of these funds, when you look at the SMID category

a quarter of it is actually small.

So, again, looking at the broad category of target-date funds and what some of the biggest

firms think how you should invest, they have about 18-19% in SMIDs, which means about

5% in small caps and that's just 5% of your stock allocation.

I think that's way too small.

Especially if you are a moderate to more-aggressive investor, it's perfectly fine to have at least

20% of your stock allocation in small caps and maybe as much as your large-cap allocation.

Now, when I talk potatoes in your portfolio, I'm talking about the standard white variety,

but I know there are some people who like the sweet potatoes mush with the marshmallows

on top for Thanksgiving. Southwick: Not this girl, but all right.

Let's talk about it!

Brokamp: When it comes to your portfolio, the sweet potato mush could be microcaps.

Those are the smallest of the small.

We're talking companies that are worth $250 million and maybe up to $500 million.

When you look at the long span of history, they actually have performed the best of any

asset class; like 14% a year.

The problem is they're crazily volatile and also because they're so small they can often

be illiquid, which makes them difficult to buy.

In fact, if you look at some of the microcap index funds [and there are only a few],

they have trouble matching the index because it's difficult to buy and sell some of the stocks

that are actually in the index.

In my model portfolios in Rule Your Retirement, only those who are more than 10 years from

retirement have an explicit allocation to microcaps.

For those who are closer to retirement, I don't have that specific allocation because

they're so volatile.

So you don't need them, just like you don't need the sweet potato whatever, or as some

people call them, yams.

Southwick: I'm not going to miss them on my plate.

Brokamp: You're not going to miss the microcaps.

Southwick: So I've got turkey. I've got some white mashed potatoes. What's next?

Brokamp: I mentioned the mid caps and I'm going to give a specific allocation to mid

caps and I'm going to say it's the stuffing. Southwick: I do love stuffing!

Brokamp: Or the dressing depending on where you live.

Generally speaking, to folks in the North it's stuffing and to folks in the South it's dressing.

And I chose mid caps to be the stuffing because just as stuffing is something that people

usually forget about during the non-holiday time of the year, people don't usually think of mid caps.

It's like the ignored asset category, especially when you're looking at the size of companies.

Southwick: But stuffing's so good! Brokamp: The stuffing is really good!

Southwick: It's so good!

Brokamp: So if you look at the long-term history [like since 1926], mid caps performed just

about right in the middle between large and small.

But there are long periods when mid caps outperformed both.

For example, since 1993 mid caps have outperformed large caps and small caps, so it's not something

to ignore in your portfolio.

I think you could start again with what the target-date report has -- an allocation of

about 15% of your stock allocation.

I think you could easily bump that up to 20-25% as to how much you should own in mid caps.

Is Retail Dying? Express is Struggling, Abercrombie and Fitch Soars - Duration: 15:16.

Chris Hill: It's Thursday, November 29th. Welcome to MarketFoolery! I'm Chris Hill.

Joining me in studio, Emily Flippen, in the house. Thanks for being here!

Emily Flippen: Thanks for having me! Hill: We're going to dip into the Fool mailbag.

We have to start with a tale of two retailers, Abercrombie and Fitch and Express, both with

third quarter reports out this morning. Kind of like we saw yesterday with two stocks with

a huge difference in their spread. Abercrombie and Fitch up about 20% this morning,

Express down about 10%. It was worse than that when the market first opened. Let's start with

Express. Any time I see a company like this, and by that, I mean, it's now somewhere in

the neighborhood of a $450 million market cap. They are struggling in what is historically

a tough industry. Apparel retail is a tough industry. My first question to you is,

how bad of shape do you think Express is in right now? Just on the surface, in the wake of this report,

and it's not a particularly big company, I'm wondering how much trouble they're in?

Flippen: I don't think they're in as much trouble as JCPenney or Sears or something.

They haven't gotten to that point yet. But I do think that as a company, they're operating

in a segment that isn't going to be there in the future. It's middle-line retailer.

You have your high-end goods aimed at adults, then your discount goods. TJ Maxx vs. Nordstrom.

And they're in this weird middle zone where they're trying to get somebody at that $40-50

price point. It's really a challenging area to be in. I'm not sure if they've really bottomed out.

I do think that it is concerning, if I were Express, to be operating in this segment

where we're seeing retailers be really pushed. Like you said, it's a hard area to be operating in.

Hill: It sounds like you're saying,

maybe not so much a knock on Express and their management, it's just the space that they're in.

You think this could go away? Flippen: I would not be surprised.

I think it could be acquired, I would also not be surprised by that.

Hill: No, I'm saying the space. When you were talking about, what is Express trying

to pull off, in terms of who they're appealing to, one of the things I was thinking was,

"Wow, that sounds a little bit like Gap." In the same way that Old Navy is more discount,

aimed at a younger consumer, Banana Republic a little higher end. And as we've seen in Gap's

quarterly reports over the last couple of years, that's kind of how that's

played out for that company. Old Navy's doing well, depending on the quarter Banana Republic does

pretty well, and Gap, the namesake brand, is the one that struggles.

Flippen: Exactly, and I think it's for exactly that reason. They're playing in the middle market.

Malls in America, where the majority of their revenue used to come from,

people browsing through, walking, they now have to push these people to start ordering online.

And the problem is, when you're ordering online, suddenly your options have exploded.

You're no longer limited to where your ability to walk in a mall is. Express' management maybe

hasn't pushed digital sales as much as they should have, so I'm not surprised to see

this middle area falling through. You get the people who are going to continue to buy higher-end

stuff online, and people who are probably going to be buying these lower-end,

discount clothes in stores. Hill: Let's flip it around for Abercrombie and Fitch.

Are they as good as this report? The stock is up close to 20%. They're having

a great day. Good for them and good for their shareholders. But you widen the lens and

you look at, "Oh, this is a stock that's basically where it was a year ago."

Flippen: This is something I love. We talked about the middle industry. It's really interesting.

Yeah, Abercrombie and Fitch reported today, beat expectations. Both companies beat expectations,

but the guidance at Express is what caused their stock to drop. It was really interesting,

because when you think about Abercrombie and Fitch, you think, "They must be a competitor

to Express," because they're in that middle $40-50 price range, as well. And when you

dig into the numbers of Abercrombie and Fitch, you'll find that as a brand itself,

Abercrombie and Fitch actually didn't do that well. And when you start looking at their sub-brands

-- Hollister, that's one that's doing really well. You notice the different segments at

Abercrombie and Fitch are going after here compared to Hollister. Hollister is aimed

at younger audiences -- millennials, kids, teenagers. When you go on their website,

it's not men and women, it's boys and girls. And those are the people you're probably going

to get with that price range, where they want that brand name recognition, but they're not

going to nourish them, they're not going to spend a few hundred dollars on an outfit.

But they're also not shopping at discount retailers because they still want that cool factor.

So, I think we're seeing a lot of success for Abercrombie and Fitch in comparison

to Express because of the fact that they have this Hollister brand, which is really differentiating

their services. Hill: Also, with Abercrombie and Fitch,

you look at the numbers that they just put up -- I think you're right, as much as anything,

the guidance that Express gave is what is doing that stock in today. With Abercrombie

and Fitch, their guidance for the holiday quarter was pretty strong, particularly on

the same-store sales front. And their same-store sales for the third quarter was up 3%.

That's not an amazing number, but it's certainly better than people were expecting.

Flippen: 3% as a company. Abercrombie and Fitch itself, about 1%. That's on par with Express.

Express' same-store sales were flat. It was the Hollister brand that was up 4%.

When you look at those two separately, Hollister is the one that's really killing it in this space.

Abercrombie and Fitch is just being dragged along.

Hill: Do you suppose on any level, there are conversations that are going on, whether it's

Express or Abercrombie and Fitch or at Gap, where someone in the room is saying,

"We really need to think about what is going to change the game for us in terms of this middle market retail,

or we need to seriously consider getting out of it?" At least in the case of Abercrombie

and Fitch and Hollister, Hollister is the one that's doing better, but Abercrombie and

Fitch is the better-known brand. There's some brand appeal there. Maybe you can't put a

number on it, but it's certainly a higher recognition factor than with Hollister.

In the case of Gap, I get that it's the namesake brand, but still, they've got two other brands

that are pretty darn strong. I'm wondering if, on any level, you as an analyst want to

reach out to them and be like, "Seriously, either figure out a way to change the game

or get out of the game altogether." Flippen: I would not be surprised. In fact,

I would be very disappointed if management in these companies weren't having that conversation.

I don't think anyone is blind to the fact that that's where the market is going.

But I think you hit the nail on the head when you talked about the brand. A lot of these companies,

the reason why they haven't moved out of the game is because they attribute

a lot of value to their brand. They think they can drive customer growth through brand

name recognition. To an extent, that's what we see with Abercrombie and Fitch and Hollister.

These are brand name clothing, they have their labels, their logos, right there for you to see.

So, I'm not surprised to see that these maybe compete better vs. Express,

which is a retailer. You can't tell an Express sweater from any other sweater that you could buy

anywhere else, because they're not that brand name.

Hill: Yeah. I was on the Express website this morning. That was one of the thoughts I had.

And I think it's just express.com. I was looking at it and thinking, I can't remember ever

seeing any of this out in the world. Whereas pretty much every week, I'll see a young person with,

whether it's Gap, Old Navy, American Eagle, Abercrombie and Fitch.

Certainly a lot of Hollister, that sort of thing. You can see that stuff out there.

Our e-mail address is marketfoolery@fool.com. Question from Tom Crone, who writes,

"Longtime listener, first time e-mailer. I'm a beginner investor building a small defensive dividend

portfolio through Robinhood. I currently have shares in Walmart, Kraft Heinz, Tyson Foods,

Verizon, AT&T, Bank of America, as well as a dividend aristocrat ETF. I'm looking to

round out my portfolio with consumer beverage stocks, either Coca-Cola or Starbucks,

but I'm also considering adding Waste Management. One thing I do not hear a lot about is the

waste that all of this increased production and growth produces. I know Waste Management

and Republic Services are the two leaders in the industry but would love to hear

your thoughts on waste management stocks as defensive stocks. Thanks for all you do

and all the great content you provide." Thanks for listening, Tom! Great question.

You and I were talking right before we started taping, Waste Management, one of those companies

with a straightforward name. They're in the business of trash. And it is decidedly

unsexy as a business. But if you've been a shareholder of Waste Management for the past

10 years, you've been handsomely rewarded for that.

Flippen: I love the idea of owning a portfolio of defensive dividend stocks.

Especially with a market that's overrun with tech companies and these high valuations, I love the idea

of having a more modest portfolio that's just sitting back and doing the work for you.

And when you look at a lot of those names, like Walmart, Kraft Heinz, none of these are,

like you said, sexy companies. None of these, you're going to say to your best friend,

"Yeah, I bought some Walmart yesterday." It's not that exciting.

Hill: "I've got a hot tip for you. It's called Walmart."

Flippen: [laughs] But these are great companies! These are great companies to own. While they

might not be your next Facebook or Amazon or Netflix, they're going to be great companies

that likely are very cash positive and can pay a steady dividend.

Looking at waste management itself, it's not something that we spend a lot of time talking about.

Like you said, nobody really likes to talk about waste management. But when you

have an economy that's growing and scaling, you're going to have increased waste.

It's a natural part of that progress. So, I like the idea.

I think when you look at Waste Management in particular in comparison to some of these

other dividend paying companies or industries, you have to be aware of some of the unique

risks that Waste Management poses. The first being, of course, normal economic cycles.

Coming out of the recession, that would have been a great time to buy into Waste Management.

You know that as a country, we're going to continue to grow and develop, especially throughout that period.

A good argument could be made that we're reaching the peak of our economic

cycle now. We're having lots of houses being built, lots of different businesses being built.

All of these things produce waste. That's an important thing to realize.

This is going to be, to an extent, a cyclical kind of investment, because while we do produce

more waste, it does depend a lot on the economic cycles that we're in.

It's also important to recognize that this has exposure to commodity prices. You might think,

Waste Management doesn't have exposure to commodities! They're not selling oil here!

But, to an extent, they sell recyclables. It's a smaller part of Waste Management's business,

but they do have to still sort out these recyclables and sell them. The biggest

buyer of our recyclables is China. A lot of issues with China right now. The biggest one

is that Chinese regulatory authorities are getting really mad at the U.S. because when

we send them recyclable material, it's not really recyclable. We don't do a great job

of being like, "Here's a clean glass or plastic or aluminum container!" We send everything

in one pile. So, there's been a lot more regulations, in terms of what we can sell them and we can't sell.

And that does hurt companies, because it increases the cost that our waste management

companies have to do to differentiate what can be recycled, what can't be recycled,

what we can sell back to the market, what are the prices for aluminum or paper fibers,

how much can we get for this. So, to an extent, it is kind of variable.

Those are unique risks that you'll get when you buy into Waste Management. But as a long-term investment,

this is a cash company with long-term contracts, very predictable cash flows.

As part of a dividend portfolio, it can be a great addition.

Hill: One more thing working in its favor -- and, to that extent, Republic Services'

favor as well -- high barrier to entry. Flippen: Oh, completely! There's so many regulations.

For example, owning landfills is a natural part of this business.

You can't just go build a landfill when you're trying to get into waste management. It's not part

of the business, you can't do it. So, yeah, there's very, very high barriers to entry.

Arguably a duopoly in this space. As far as inherent competitive risks, I agree, pretty low.

Hill: I'm thinking about Tom's portfolio

with the dividends. Look, it's always great to look at a stock in your portfolio, or just

your portfolio at large, and see growth over time, whatever time period you choose to look at.

But one of the sneaky, fun ways that growth can happen in your portfolio is with dividends.

It doesn't get the biggest headlines, it's usually something that gets thrown into a

press release in the quarterly report. "Oh, by the way, we're pumping up our dividend

by another couple of pennies," that sort of thing. But over time, if you've got dividend

aristocrats in your portfolio, you are faced with the happy problem of, "Now what do

I do with this cash?" There are some who say, "No, I'm not going to turn the dividend into

more shares. I just want the cash." That's what happens with dividend aristocrats overtime.

Eventually, you get to the point where you have enough shares, the cash is piling

up in your portfolio, and you have to figure out what you're going to do with it.

Flippen: Exactly. And usually, with a lot of these companies that pay steady dividends,

you have a pretty long lead way to figure out whether or not there's an issue that's coming.

You're aware of the fact that dividends start decreasing, cash stops coming,

that's a big sign to have you if you're a dividend investor that maybe things are squeezed.

GE is a great example of that, a company that used to be a great dividend aristocrat,

but now is non-existent. But there's a long lead way there. We're looking at a year of potential

for this dividend to be cut. As a dividend investor, you have a longer lead way with

your investments to whether or not that investment is going to turn quickly on you.

Hill: Emily Flippen, thanks for being here! Flippen: Thanks for having me!

Hill: As always, people on the program may have interests in the stocks they talk about,

and The Motley Fool may have formal recommendations for or against, so don't buy or sell stocks

based solely on what you hear. That's going to do it for this edition of MarketFoolery.

The show is mixed by Dan Boyd. I'm Chris Hill. Thanks for listening! We'll see you next time!

Healthcare Stock to Watch: Diabetes Player Insulet - Duration: 7:45.

Shannon Jones: Let's dive into your first one.

This is a stock that one of our fellow colleagues, Brian Feroldi, has talked quite a bit about.

Tell us about your first top healthcare pick.

Todd Campbell: We've talked in the past on the show a lot about diabetes and what a major

market opportunity that is for investors.

One of the companies that I want to highlight today is Insulet, ticker PODD.

They make a small, saucer-shaped insulin pump that diabetics can wear for up to three days.

It's the only tubeless pump that's on the market.

They were trading at about $106 at the peak in October.

They're down about 24% from that, trading around $81 today.

Jones: It certainly sounds like Insulet shares could go lower.

One of the things in researching for this episode, I'm impressed with the fact that,

obviously the diabetes market is huge, but they've got a drug delivery system that could

even expand beyond diabetes.

Campbell: It's really interesting to watch and see how companies are starting to try

and reach out and revolutionize diabetes treatment with these different devices that basically

allow patients to have a much easier time in figuring out when they need to take their insulin,

and then automating the delivery of that insulin so that patients no longer

have to go through this process of multiple finger sticks a day to see if they need to

have those insulin injections, and then, of course, taking those actual injections afterwards.

There are 30 million people in the U.S. with diabetes, including 1.5 million people roughly with

Type 1 diabetes, which is the form of diabetes in which those patients don't produce any insulin.

Those patients have a very high burden, as far as having to do these finger sticks and

take these multiple injections every day.

Companies like Insulet have come out and developed different devices that can be used in combination

with one another to try and make that whole process simpler, easier and more effective.

Studies have shown that the typical diabetic is going to spend about 70% of their day outside

of their targeted blood sugar range.

That is bad news because it can contribute to the disease progressing more quickly,

causing kidney damage, nerve damage, cardiovascular damage.

Insulet has this Omnipod, which is this insulin delivery device that can be worn.

It's the only tubeless one that's on the market.

It's positioned to benefit from the fact that we've got this huge and growing population

of diabetes patients.

The Institute for Alternative Futures estimates that we could go from 30 million Americans

to 55 million Americans with diabetes by 2030.

There's a huge demographic tailwind supporting demand for this company.

Jones: Speaking about the convenience and advantages of pumps themselves, it certainly

makes sense when you can automate this insulin delivery.

But this certainly doesn't mean that Insulet is in a field all by itself.

It's definitely got some competition. Is that right?

Campbell: Yeah, and one of those competitors is very deep-pocketed, it's Medtronic, ticker MDT.

They have a big diabetes business.

Not only do they produce insulin pumps that compete against the Omnipod, they also produce

continuous glucose monitors that are used to evaluate your blood sugar in real time.

They were the first to launch an automated insulin delivery system that marries their

continuous glucose monitor and their pump together.

Since then, another competitor, Tandem Diabetes, rolled out their own automated system in combination

with a continuous glucose monitor made by Dexcom earlier this year.

I think IT was August that they began selling that.

So there is stiff competition, and Insulet does not have an automated system on the market yet.

Investors should realize they could face some headwinds to their growth rate as people decide

whether or not they want to have these automated systems rather than the convenience of the

tubeless pump itself. That being said, though, don't count Insulet out.

They're working on their own automated system. It should be in the market by 2020.

And the way that they're designing their system is not only to use Dexcom's CGM, but to be

able to use a smartphone app to control it. It's something that a lot of patients would like to see.

A really big jump up in convenience.

And even with all this competition from Medtronic and Tandem, this is still a company that's

growing double-digits. Jones: Yeah, I was just looking here.

2017 sales grew 26% of $460 million.

Just in Q3, sales grew 24% year over year to $151 million for the full year.

Guiding for $558-563 million in sales. That's up about 20% from last year.

It sounds like they're pretty close to turning a corner on profitability, as well. Is that right?

Campbell: Absolutely.

They were on track to deliver their first operating profit since their inception this year.

They've done a great job of controlling their expenses, boosting their gross margin.

Yes, in the short-term, they're going to still face some competitive headwinds from Medtronic and Tandem.

But the fact that they're still growing so quickly even in the face of those stiff competitors,

and the fact that they have their own automated system coming in a year, I think that this

is an attractive stock to add to long-term portfolios.

It could be bumpy for a little while.

But I think long-term portfolios, adding this one would make sense.

Jones: Absolutely. To that point, watching the partnership opportunities that'll come about.

Right now, Insulet is partnered with Amgen on the delivery system for Neulasta.

You could certainly see many different applications across the entire healthcare space where

a customized version of the Omnipod can be used

to deliver different types of medication to different patients.

Of the ones we've looked at, this one has actually probably caught my attention the most, Todd.

Campbell: I think it's a very intriguing play.

Part of the reason that I think it's such an intriguing play is because of the fact

that it has the potential to be a major disruptive force in the treatment of what is a huge,

multiple hundreds of billions of dollars a year in spending market.

I also like Dexcom, which we talked about as being the continuous glucose monitors.

They're an agnostic play because you could use a Tandem pump, you can use an insulin pump, whatever.

But I think Insulet offers a particularly interesting value right now because of that 20% drop.

GEE MAIL: A SALUTE TO WVU'S STUDENT-VETERANS - Duration: 3:34.

Attention, everyone. Attention.

I'm hanging out just outside the Mountaineer Bunker.

This is where our veterans office is, and we have over a thousand veterans

or veteran-related people at this institution and we're very committed to veterans affairs.

So today we want to celebrate our veterans, what they have done for this nation

what they've done for the people of this University and we want to make certain that we celebrate

them and give back to them what they've given to us.

Hey, guys!

I'm going to go see if they have some chow.

Oh, this is the bunker!

Do you have one for me?

I'm gonna pull this out and we're gonna take a little bit of a look at this thing.

Oh, garlic mashed potatoes.

Oh!

Be still my heart.

This place making a difference to you guys?

It's unbelievable.

Not just this place, but what this place represents, like the dedication and the commitment

to the veteran community that this University is willing to provide for us now.

So Colonel, what are you doing here?

I'm helping veterans and their families transition from military service back to civilian life

and doing that via education and finding that path that is meaningful and purposeful to them.

How are you finding it, has it been a difficult transition or

are you finding it to be something you're enjoying?

I enjoy it, but I did go here as an undergraduate student, a traditional undergraduate student

before, and I can't hang like I used to, so it is a little different

but thanks to the efforts of Ed and some of the folks in this veterans office

I get to reap those benefits as a veteran.

Every student, no matter your age or what you are, you need to find a place in which

you have a level of comfort and camaraderie.

Leaving a warrior culture and coming to the campus culture is quite different.

But I think having veterans on our campus provides us a sense of who we are as a people

and for that we're grateful to have you here.

You bring a sense of place and purpose, I think you bring a sense of integrity

but, also, you bring a sense of what it's like to be an American.

Tell me which branch of the service I ought to be in.

For the Mountaineer army, you are without a doubt the commanding general.

I accept.

You got a chocolate chip cookie in your pouch.

I did?

They don't come with Diet Dr. Peppers.

I think you need to try it.

Do you need some milk?

No.

I have some pears that would go great with it.

I got some warm beef stew.

Or this nutritious chocolate bar.

Oh, my gosh, no!

This has been really wonderful for me.

I met some wonderful people.

All who've served this nation and have done tremendous things all around the globe.

And they're now here with us and they're making a difference and they're

developing a real sense of purpose for themselves and making a real difference at our University.

So we are blessed to have them.

The future for military service as recognized by our University is very bright and we want

to celebrate that as we celebrate these young people

who've made such a difference in the lives of every one of us here.

Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse Inspired Song 🕷 Anxiety (feat. Scott Niswander) (Audio) 💔 RKVC - Duration: 3:50.

Inspired by "Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse"

Anxiety (featuring Scott Niswander) by RKVC - Inspired by Spider-Man & Peter Parker & Miles Morales

I wish I could say I take it all in stride,

That despite all the fear I could be mollified,

But I'm terrified of making any mistake

I'm fluent in excuses,

The truth is I'm a fake,

I'm young, but I don't feel young, I feel lesser,

The pressure makes it impossible to process my successes,

The stress is draining,

I have no training, no guide,

I try to hide it,

But I'm overwhelmed and under qualified...

Got a lot on my mind lately,

Thought the suit and the mask would make me

Into the man that they all see...

lotta anxiety...lotta anxiety...

My brain is racked,

Head packed with irrational fears,

My body's tapped, strapped down by watchful peers,

Cause from the outside I look lazy, no hustle, static for years,

They can't make out the muddled mess of a million moving mental gears,

I'm not slacking, I'm paralyzed,

Not relaxing, I'm petrified,

Everything fights for your attention when your senses are magnified,

It's relentless,

Nothing ends it,

Can't vent about this mental bout without having friends quit...

Got a lotta anxiety,

Thought the suit and the mask would make me

Into the man that they all see...

lotta anxiety...anxiety...

Sorry to let you down,

Took too long to decide to do something,

What am I gonna do now?

...with great power comes...I don't feel so good...

Got a lot on my mind lately,

Thought the suit and the mask would make me

Into the man that they all see...

lotta anxiety...

Got a lot on my mind lately,

Thought the suit and the mask would make me

Into the man that they all see...

lotta anxiety...lotta anxiety...

Pot-Pourri: Qualquer dia desses / Meu vício é você - Alcione - Faz uma loucura por mim (Ao vivo) - Duration: 4:06.

One of these days

When l catch myself awake at night

l'll lose control and call you

And if necessary l'll come over

One of these days

l won't just lie in bed

Crying by myself, quietly sobbing

Thinking of the things that l never forgot

One of these days

l'll forget all advice and blow it

Wanting your body next to mine again

l will defy any sound reasoning

lt is useless

All this suffering if the truth is

That right now l miss you

With all things my pride won't hide

lf one day l go out to meet you

Please, don't say no

Maybe from the ashes one more time

Our love will grow

lf one day l go out to meet you

Please, don't say no

Maybe from the ashes one more time

Our love will grow

You are my addiction

You are my cigarette

l drink you, l smoke you

l accept my biggest mistake, l take it

No matter how hard l try, l just want

You

You're my addiction

My dice, my marked cards

This stupid dream won't take me anywhere

l was rolling down life and stopped

Right where you were

My cigarette is perfume from the woods

My alcohol is a spring of water

My perfume is the orange flower

l only play love games

l'm not telling you l'm flawless

But l take care, l get along, l do fine with my flaws

My problem is this secret in my heart

Called passion

You are my addiction

You are my cigarette

l drink you, l smoke you

l accept my biggest mistake, l take it

No matter how hard l try, l just want

You

You're my addiction

My dice, my marked cards

This stupid dream won't take me anywhere

l was rolling down life and stopped

Right where you were

Thank you.
