Donald Trump Is Being Sued AGAIN - Duration: 4:26.

Donald Trump is being sued.

Once again, the man who just seems to be sued by everyone for everything, whether it's not

paying as contractors or you know, all of the horrible policies he's put in place.

All the emoluments that he is accepted, the guy just constantly gets sued.

Well, this new lawsuit is actually similar to other law suits that have been filed against

him and his administration.

This one is being brought by six migrant families who the Trump administration's separated from

their children at the border and they're now suing Trump and the administration for the

unnecessary pain, suffering and trauma that they caused to these families.

Right now there's only six in the lawsuit.

It's very likely that that number is going to increase dramatically.

Assuming this case has given permission to move forward and it should be able to move

forward.

I don't think that's going to be a question, but there probably will be a hearing to determine

whether or not these people have standing and here's the thing though, they absolutely

do have standing.

They were in here in the United States on American soil.

At which point they are protected by the laws of the United States of America citizen or

not.

So yes, that argument's pretty easy to settle.

Do they have standing?

Hell yeah, they do, but here's why they're suing.

Again, these are mothers who had their children in some cases actually literally ripped out

of their arms and taken away.

The parents were not told where their kids were going there.

We're not told how long they would be separated.

They were not allowed to contact them.

They didn't know a thing.

They were taken to a separate cage and locked up.

Their kid was taken to a different facility, sometimes a different city, sometimes a different

state, and they had no idea.

The kids didn't know where the parents were.

The parents didn't know where the kids, where they couldn't communicate with each other.

They were abused while in custody and according to the filing of this lawsuit that has caused

insurmountable damage psychologically to both the parents and the kids leaving them with

this PTSD and they want something done.

They want something someone held accountable.

Now, each of the families, the six families involved or seeking $2 million a piece for

the suffering and the pain and the trauma that was caused to them by the administration.

But it's not necessarily about the money.

What they want to do is send the administration a message, which is actually what most lawsuits

are about.

It's not just about getting money, it's not a cash grab.

What it is is to highlight a policy or a problem, bring it to the public's attention and then

force a change.

We have seen that with lawsuits since the beginning of this country.

You know, the last century alone has shown us how powerful lawsuits can be in changing

the laws in this country.

Tobacco laws, seat belt laws, uh, you know, pharmaceutical testing requirements, all kinds

of things that only came about because of lawsuits as best as agent orange.

That's what they're trying to do with this policy here.

They're trying to show that there is very real damage being caused by the Trump administration's

family separation policy, and that the policy was only enacted so that the president could

prove to the rest of the world how cruel he truly is.

This was not a safety issue.

This was not a security issue, and it did nothing to deter people from coming into this

country.

This entire family separation policy was built on one thing and one thing alone, and that

was to show everybody how horrible and heartless the United States government can truly be.

And that is what these lawyers representing these families are about to go argue in court.

Tesla Model 3 Cold Weather Range-Loss Test! - Duration: 10:54.

I'm Andru Edwards, and you're watching Gear Live.

Today I need to take a trip to Portland.

I live in the Seattle area, actually above Seattle.

And it's gonna be the first day

that I take the Tesla Model 3 out

for a long road trip.

And it just so happens to be happening in the snow.

So we're gonna see how the battery holds up in the snow,

how the car holds up in the snow.

Let me get inside so I'm not freezing.

And ultimately how the Tesla Model 3 handles

in cold weather.

Let's go.

Alright, let's see what it looks like

getting to the motor center today.

So here we go.

So, it should take me about three and a half hours

to get there, 2:26 arrival time.

I'm not sure that's gonna be accurate

due to the traffic that we're gonna be seeing

with all the snow, and plus you're just driving slower

in the snow as well.

We are likely gonna have to stop to charge somewhere.

Battery will deplete faster in the freezing temperatures.

(upbeat music)

Autopilot isn't even showing as an option right now,

and that's because, as you can see, the roads here.

Autopilot can't see the lines in the street.

There's no way to guide the car between the lines

when you can't see where the lines even are.

I'm hoping the freeway is easier to drive on than this,

because the compacted ice and snow on the road,

just means you have to go super slow to be safe.

Look at this man, waiting for me out in the snow.

Look at this dude.

- [Malik] Moment of truth.

It's the moment of truth, oh.

Oh my God.

Alright, we're out here trying to let him get in the car,

and this thing is just, oh.

- [Malik] Got it?

- There it is, there it is, alright.

The snow man.

The roads are frozen.

There was just a car facing this way,

on the freeway, facing us, on our side.

Look, we're on our way

to the Centralia supercharger right now.

It says it's 89 miles away,

and we have, according to the car, 262 miles.

However, I'm making the assumption right now,

that the battery is gonna drain faster than what it says,

based on the weather.

So, I don't think we really have 262 miles in us.

So we're gonna hit this supercharger,

charge up on the way.

But let's see.

Malik did the math, we should arrive at the supercharger

with 174 miles, if this is accurate.

My guess is that it will not be 174, it'll be less.

Because the battery is probably not liking

these freezing temperatures.

It's 27 degrees, come on.

(upbeat music)

Look at the window bro, I'm not happy.

I heard people complain about the lack

of heated windshield wipers, right.

And I was like, why would you need heated windshield wipers?

That's a weird thing to complain about.

Now today, look at this.

The windshield wipers are just full of ice and snow,

and now I wish I had 'em.

We're going to a gas station

so that we can squeegee off the window.

(upbeat music)

We out here doin' manual labor.

Clean the window.

The first squeegee I tried was completely frozen

and I almost fell.

I almost fell.

Straight up icicles, icicles on the vehicle.

This man just bought gloves 'cause it's cold,

and he picked out these work, gardening gloves.

Look at this, look at this.

Who buys that at a gas station bro?

This guy, what are you doing?

What are you doin'?

This that Timberland weather, man.

We're headed to the Centralia supercharger right now.

240 miles left, maybe, apparently, we'll see.

When we get there we'll see if it's at 174, 174 or above.

Alright, autopilot is engaged for now, see what happens.

A whole bunch of snow on our windshield.

We couldn't even see.

The cars like, I can't see either.

(upbeat music)

Just pulled into the first supercharger,

and this is interesting.

So, I knew the battery would not last as long

as Tesla said it would.

So check this out.

As you can see, 121 miles is what they say

is left on the battery.

That battery should actually say, 174 miles,

based on the estimation that it gave us earlier.

So, we should've arrived here, at the supercharger,

with 174 miles left on the battery.

It's only at 121, which means it was over 50 miles off.

So I'm glad we stopped here at the supercharger

to get some juice.

So we're gonna plug in, get some juice, get some food,

and then head down to Portland.

Just plugged in and as you can see,

we're charging at 330, roughly, miles an hour.

So in an hour, we should be pretty much full.

In fact an hour and 10 minutes, we'll have a full battery.

This is way faster than the charger I have at home,

which charges at about 43 miles an hour.

So, that's fantastic.

(upbeat music)

Alright, just had lunch, all charged up,

heading down to Portland.

We got another 90 miles to go, to hit Portland.

So let's see how we fare,

because once again, I'm assuming,

we're not gonna get all the range that the Tesla

is estimating we're gonna get.

Alright, it says we have 268 miles charged up,

which means we should have about 178 miles when we arrive,

since we have 90 miles to go.

I'm gonna assume it's gonna be more like 130 miles left

when we arrive.

I-5, what's happening?

Why is the car getting mad?

- [Malik] Vancouver, Portland, on the way.

(upbeat music)

- Thank you.

- The receipt goes in the dash.

Have fun guys.

- Thank you.

Now we are finally parked.

We've made it to the destination.

Let's check how good the Tesla was at estimating.

As you can see right here,

it says we have 140 miles left on the charge.

Now when we left, we had 268,

and it said it was 90 miles away.

So, we should've been left with 178 miles,

which means 38 miles it was off by, 38 miles.

So, don't trust it outright,

especially in that cold weather.

- [Malik] What you grabbin' out of there man?

Oh, oh, oh.

Man, oh, oh, oh.

- The heck?

(laughing)

- This is terrible.

(upbeat music)

(body slamming)

(crowd cheering)

(upbeat music)

On the way back, stopping at another supercharger.

I want to be safe.

It says we have about 120 miles that we can drive,

but as we've seen throughout the day,

it's not that accurate,

and I don't think we'll have enough juice

to get to the next supercharger on the route.

So we stopped a little earlier, supercharger's right here,

and we're gonna charge up.

One thing I don't like about this one though,

this sign right here.

60 minute general parking.

So, you can come here and charge your Tesla,

but anybody, Tesla or not, can also park here for an hour.

So you might be trying to get home, and you show up here,

and if it's an active time like Christmas, for example,

it might be filled up and you can't juice up and get home.

Come on.

It's snowing again.

Got about three hours and 50 minutes to get home,

after we charge, and it's snowing again.

And we also might need to charge one more time,

we'll see how it goes.

(upbeat music)

Alright, I've charged up to 187 miles worth of charge.

The next supercharger is about 77 miles away.

So, in theory we should have 110 miles when we get there.

I'm assuming no, that will not be the case.

Maybe we'll have around 80.

We're gonna stop there, charge up while we eat,

and then that should be good enough to get home.

(upbeat music)

Alright, made it to the next supercharger.

We were supposed to have, I believe 110 miles left.

We do not have that.

Instead we have 62 miles left,

according to the Tesla estimated range.

So it's a good thing we did stop at that first supercharger.

Now, we're gonna plug in here,

try to get a full charge, grab some dinner.

It's about 10:30, hopefully there's something open.

(upbeat music)

We just charged for about 37 minutes.

And if we pull up the charge screen,

we'll see that we gained 193 miles

in that 30 minute time frame.

If we want to go to 100%, we got another 30 minutes to go.

Give it a few more minutes to get a comfortable

amount of charge.

So we can make it all the way back to the Seattle area.

All done, with what I hope is the final

supercharging event of the night.

We have 279 estimated miles.

And again, I'm just using estimated miles

to see how accurate it is.

As we've seen today, not that accurate. 102 miles to go.

So hopefully, having almost triple

the amount of miles needed, or estimated miles needed,

we can get back.

So, it's about 11:20 p.m.

let's get out of here and go home.

(upbeat music)

It's the end of the trip, it's about 1:40 a.m.

We got back with about 118 miles estimated,

on the Tesla Model 3.

So, made it home, did not need to charge again.

So you have it, that is cold weather

in the Tesla Model 3.

We were driving, right now it's about 18 degrees out here.

So it's pretty cold.

If you're driving in cold weather

you do have to watch out for that range.

It will deplete faster than the Tesla expects it to.

So make sure you stop at the superchargers

and charge up appropriately.

WP3363892 - Replacing Your Washer's Direct Drive Drain Pump - AP6008110, PS11741242 - Duration: 13:31.

Hi my name is Bill and today I'm going to show you how to replace your direct

drive drain pump. The reason why you might have to do this is because your pump is

leaking or because water won't drain out of it.

For this repair, you'll need a flat head screwdriver, a Philips head screwdriver, a

pair of channel locks, and a pair of pliers.

Warning: Before doing any repairs, please disconnect your power source.

So this is our washer here.

It's a KitchenAid, and this is what we're going to use for our repairs. Keep in mind

yours might be a little bit different at home, but it's the same techniques you

should still apply. Now we're going to grab a pair of channel locks

and we're going to remove the water hoses. Make sure before removing the water

hoses that you do turn off the water and when you take the water hoses off, just

keep in mind there might be some water still in the lines.

So now we're going to

remove our drain hose. For that we can use a pair of pliers, pinch that clamp in, move

it up, and pull the drain hose off. Keep in mind there still might be some water

in there, so keep a towel or something handy nearby or a bucket to drain that

into. We're going to take a Philips head screwdriver and remove the two screws

holding the control panel on on the front side.

And now we're going to have to remove the other two screws on the back again

with a Phillips head screwdriver.

Now that you got those two screws off, you

can remove your control panel. It should just pull right up, just push

forward, pull it right up. Start by taking off our air pressure hose. We remove each

of these wires, now we're just going to pinch this clip. Pull this one out and

now we'll get our flat-head screwdriver and remove the grounding wire. And I'm

just going to put the screw back in there so that we remember what hole it was in,

just to make everything a little bit easier. Alright now we just have to

remove this. There's clips on both sides. Now we just pinch the clips in and pull

the wires out. Now that all the wires are unhooked, we can set the front control

board off to the side. Next I'm just going to remove these two wires here.

We've got a clip on it, pinch that and pull that out. And this wire here there's

a little tab on it, you just pull the tab up and pull it out.

So pull that out, and now I'm going to put the screw back in, just so we remember

where it's supposed to go, there we go. And the last two screws we've got to take

out are down here at the bottom.

Now we've got the clips here and we're going

to undo this just with our screwdriver. We're pulling it forward and it pops

right out. Same thing with this one, take our

screwdriver and that'll pop right out. I'm just going to take these clips, set them

off to the side so they don't fall anywhere and don't get lost.

Take these out too, set them off to the side. And now I'm just going to pull up,

tilt this back, and now come right out.

Alright so with the panel off, now take this tube off and then we'll get our

pliers. Grab the clamp. Now the hose will come off just by wiggling a bit and we

can lay the panel down so it's out of the way. So here's our drain pump. So to

get that off, we're going to remove the hoses first

and cool that off. Now we have to remove these clips here, so we'll get our

screwdriver. Wedge it right in there and pop the clip off. And now we can pull

the drain pump right out. Now you can grab your new OEM replacement

direct drive drain pump. If you don't have one already, you can find one on our

online store. So the first thing we have to do before we put this on is make sure

that this little notch is going to line up with this right here. So I've turned

it and now when we turn around and put it on, it can line right up and slide right

into the grooves here. You can put the clips back on it, put that pipe on now.

We'll put the clamps back on so everything sits on there nice and tight.

We're not going to get any water leaks, there we go, it's nice and tight.

We can put the rest back together. Alright so now to put this all back together, start

with the frame again. Make sure that the bottom is lined up with little tabs, and

everything just slides right in. Alright so that's all together, so now you can

start putting the back panel on. What we do is tip it up, and we'll grab the

drain tube, slide that back on, and grab our pliers.

Pinch on the clamp, slide that down as much as you can, there you go. That'll get us a

nice tight seal again. I'll take our airhose, we'll put that back right in here.

Okay so we're going to lift this up. We're going to line up the bottom clips here.

Slide those clips in, make sure that's on it's clips like it's supposed to be.

There we go. Back on the clips so we can push this in all the way. Then start to screw

everything back together, screwing the bottom ones first.

So now we're going to

take our clips that we set off to the side earlier and we're going to push

that back in, and same thing with this one. Now I want to put the control panel

hinges back in, which we also set off to the side, and now we can hook it back up

again.

And we'll plug in a couple of wires here, and close these ones in together like

that. And now we're going to feed this back through here, take this screw out.

Now we can plug our control board back in and click this guy right in here.

And next put our grounding wire back in.

I like to plug this down here.

And our air pressure switch right back in here, now we'll sit back up. Line up

the little tabs here into the slots and at the same time, you also want to make

sure that the back panel is underneath the control panel.

Okay now everything's all

lined up and we can screw back the hinges. And now we'll just line the

hinges up with the hole and screw it back in.

Now to turn this back around and get our last two screws in.

Alright and now we

can hook everything back up. We're going to put our drain hose back on and to do

that, we're simply going to squeeze the clamp and move it up a bit.

We're going to attach this back to the connection here. Once that's pushed all

the way down, we'll get our pliers again.

Grab that clamp and wiggle it down, and now we've got a nice secure connection.

And now we're going to screw our water hoses back on. Make sure you've got your

hot going to your hot and your cold going to your cold. On this model its labeled C and H.

Once you've got that screw down nice and tight,

grab your channel locks and tighten it the rest of the way.

And we'll do the same thing for the other one.

And then we can turn our

washer back around, hook everything back up, and your repair is complete.

Finally, don't forget to plug in your appliance.
