Hi I'm Anna Lytical and if you are a returning subscriber and thanks for

coming back and thank you for all the love and support and if you're not go

subscribe below ring the bell and maybe catch up on a few of the lessons we're

not too far along yet this next mini series is going to be all about fonts last

time we saw to make different headings and use paragraphs as well as set the

color of our text I'm gonna show you with how to bring this drab to of this

glamour I will start by creating a new HTML file like last time we'll save it

as glamorous HTML right on the desktop and like last

time we can do HTML and press enter for the autocomplete and the text is a

little bit bigger this time we can pick some text at random oh I don't know

there's there's some good text over here and let me start with h1 save this and

let's just drag from the top part over here it right into Chrome the first

thing we'll want to do is use a more modern font I'm a modern drag queen

so I deserve a modern fun we'll go create the Style section like last time

for h1 set the font family to sans-serif san-serifs just means without serifs

here's a little image that can help guide you in what are the serifs. There

are a few built-in fonts they actually go to w3schools and see what kind of

fonts there are these are all fine we can try copying some of these kind of in

that sans-serif family there's a little sleeker that we want to really glam it

up let's pull some custom fonts so we're gonna

go to google fonts which is font google.com link in the description there

are 915 fonts we can choose from if you click the search button you can apply

different filters I'm new for sans-serif and also go for handwriting we'll see

what's kind of in there and sort by a trending and there are lots of cool

fonts for me to choose google fonts uses all these sample sentences so you

can see what it looks like if you want to see what your text is gonna look like

you can actually just type it in so let me actually make this a little bigger

copy in my piece of text or my string and now I can click apply to all fonts

so now I can see what my text exactly is going to look like I want to get a

thicker font cuz we're gonna do some coloring on this so I'll set this to be

a thicker hmm Oh work sans oh let's go with this okay

click the plus and here's like a little checkout menu but it's all free don't

worry copy and paste in this link which will

import the font and you can put that directly under your style tag not inside

it right under in the style for font family we'll replace this with our new

font family now it feels a little more custom we can also change the font sizes

h1 gives you a big font size to start out with but let's make this as

big as we can we do you 200 pixels Scream. oh my god this is a little big

um I think 150 could be pretty cute actually

How to Comfort Your Child's Broken Heart - Duration: 2:40.

Think back to the first time you had your heart broken, or the first time you had a

serious crush on someone who didn't like you back.

Few emotions for teens are as intense as these.

As a parent, part of what we try to do is provide empathy for our children.

But when our teenager is going through their first heartbreak, it can be really hard to

stay objective and not want to fix those really powerful emotions.

Here are some ways to be helpful when your teen is going through their first heartbreak.

First, remember that this experience is very common, it probably happened to you, it probably

happened to many of their friends.

Despite the fact that we can easily identify with what our child is feeling, remember that

this is happening to them, and not to you.

It's usually not helpful for us to tell our breakup stories.

Most of the time, teens really want to be heard, rather than talked to.

Although it's hard for us to see our teens experiencing those adult feelings, remember

that they will learn important life lessons from going through this for themselves.

Give them space but be ready if they want to talk.

Processing their feelings through talking is one of the most important things a teen

can do.

It would be normal for teens to spend a little bit more time alone.

But you might want to be a little bit more available for them so that if they do want

to talk they can easily seek you out and you're close by.

You can help by making supportive statements to them like, I'm really sorry that you're

sad, it must be hard to lose someone that you really care about.

It's usually not helpful to say things like, I never really liked her anyway, or there's

a lot of fish in the sea, or you'll get over it.

Next you can encourage healthy coping, writing in a journal, playing sports, getting back

to activities that they're usually involved in.

Venting on social media, or slamming their ex-boyfriend or -girlfriend is probably not

the best thing to do, and you can use this as an opportunity to have a conversation again

about appropriate social media use.

What if you think your child isn't coping well?

Some signs to look for include if they seem extremely sad, more than just a little blue,

if it lasts for more than a week or two, parents should seek help.

Other worrisome signs include concerns for drug or alcohol use, loss of enjoyment of

things that they used to like doing, sleeping too much or sleeping too little.

If you think you need additional help you can start by talking to your pediatrician,

or if you're in the St. Louis area you can call (314) 454-TEEN.

hey! *I'm Anna Lytical* now that we know some of the basics of fonts and coloring them on the web

and how to use some containers let's step this up over here please let's dive in

we ended here and this is a mess oh my god I can't even believe I told you

to do this but I just wanted to show you the power of the span and the class let's

delete this all and we're back to where we were

let's start by adding the span with a rainbow class to our word amazing in

this rainbow class we will add a background similar to that gradient we

used in the background of our first website and now we've got this really

nice rainbow gradient where's the red okay now we've got this really nice

rainbow great I don't know where that red was this is another cool thing you

can do with text but if we want to make the text rainbow we're gonna use two

properties the background clip and text fill color this - WebKit prefix just

means it's kind of an early feature queer people are always setting trends so it's

only fitting where to use these now we'll save this and what this is going

to well I'll just let you see for yourself this is a much nicer rainbow

we've got a full gradient really popping in the colors yes and so much less work

to do that so what's happening here is they're gonna click the background and

then do the fix fill color in yadda yadda yadda and you know what you don't

have to understand how this works I barely understand how this work you know

what I googled how to make rainbow text HTML and I figured it out I saw this

great tutorial um I read through it I'll put the link below programming is a very

collaborative space there are so many people who ask questions so many people

have done what you're trying to do before don't feel like you need to

understand everything if you want to do something cool go for it see who's done

it before and try it out yourself we've made some of our texture rainbow

but can we take it even farther I want to make Anna Lytical in glitter

we'll give it a class called glitter and we can call these classes anything we're

just going to use a helpful name so litter that we're gonna make glittery

rainbow because it's a rainbow duh. we'll add a new class for glitter we're

gonna copy okay we got the rainbow you know seen it before next and instead of

this gradient we're gonna type URL parenthesis and then in quotes and we

can paste an image URL so let's see what happens

Oh stunning this looks so cute all you have to do is you can go to

giphy and pull up an image you want to use and paste that in I searched for a

glitter copy link and then you're gonna take the gif you're gonna hit the gif

link gif jif whatever it's not that serious and you have your new background

the possibilities with this are so endless in the description I'll put an

animated text that I try out on my own I hope you enjoyed this mini lesson series

DIY Blue Ombré Dyed Canvas Shoes Tutorial | Michaels - Duration: 1:15.

Make it EASY DIY Ombre Canvas Sneakers

First, remove the laces and set them aside.

Tip: Use gloves to protect your hands.

Spray the shows with water to dampen the canvas.

Pour some of the RIT liquid dye into a disposable cup; them dip a brush into the dye.

Lightly press the brush to the top of the shoes toe. The wet canvas of the show should wick some of the dye and spread it organically.

To keep the ombre even across your shoe, work vertically, from the tip of the shoe to the back.

You can spread the dye to the back of the shoe using a paintbrush dipped in water.

Continue this until both shoes are colored as much as you want.

Let dry for 24-48 hours and replace the laces.

Hello there!

It is impossible to come to Italy without talking, or, without eating too much!

So let's start a little tour with tips about where to eat in Bologna!

One of the typical dishes here of the region is Piadina, which is this stuffed bread, like a sandwich.

This place is called La Piadeina, it is very close to Piazza Maggiore, right in the center of the city.

There are some great piadinas,

each one costs between € 4 and € 7.

I ordered one of prosciutto, cheese and arugula, let's see!

To drink, I ordered a "La Rossa", by Birra Moretti,

I really like this beer, it's delicious!

One of the things I most ike to do in Italy is a Food Tour.

The first stop is here: Majani,

a chocolate factory founded in 1796,

with many years of history!

It was the official chocolateria of the Italian royalty!

Let's taste it, that looks delicious!

Here's an interesting story: FIAT, when it was launching the Fiat 4,

made a contest to find a chocolate of his own to symbolize the car

and who won was this chocolate factory here in Bologna.

I'm going to try some chocolates, the most classic ones...

This is Fiat's chocolate, look how cute!

Inside it is like this, with four layers,

just to symbolize the Fiat 4.

Very good!

This is the second one I'll prove, it's called tortellino

This one is more bitter.

Delicious!

This one is caramelized orange with chocolate...

This is the first chocolate made by them, looks like a tree trunk.

It is very difficult to choose one but I think my favorite is this with orange, delicious!

After touring the city, understand a little more about Bologna's history,

understand mainly what they eat here...

We are finishing the Tour in the Mercato delle Erbe,

which doubles as a food court, with several nice restaurants!

We are going to do a tasting of some typical delights of the region!

We have here: typical Parmeggiano cheese,

a mortadella foam,

the mortadella, which is here from Bologna itself,

the prosciutto of Parma, which, as the name says, is from Parma,

which is a nearby town, and the salami.

There's also this fried cookie here that is crescentine.

The food here is always wonderful!

It took me to long to became "the gelato nut" on this trip, right?

Here in Mercato delle Erbe there is this "Oggi",

which some people told me that it is one of the best gelato in Bologna.

This one is made of chocolate and lemon.

It's always delicious!

We are very close to the "Finestrella,"

which is where you can see the old Bologna channel.

I chose to eat a Crostini,

which is like a bruschetta.

Mine has artichoke, speck (which is a type of raw ham) and looks great!

And to drink, Prosecco. Cheers!

Since the train back to the city was going to take a long time,

We decided to have lunch here on the side of the church.

There is only one restaurant.

I ordered a calzone, and OMG, it's huge and looks great!

It's the only restaurant, but at least it's good!

I would never leave Bologna without proving the famous "Spaghetti Bolognese",

which is actually called "Tagliatelle al Ragù".

It is always done with tagliatelle, which is this kind of pasta.

Looks delicious!

Wonderful!

And what's better: this restaurant is in the historic center, very easy to get to!

For dessert, the traditional "Zuppa Inglese", delicious!

Hello my dears! I am glad that you are with me in the new episode Nails by Cupio

I'm Veronica Moraru and in this video I will show you how to maintain a manicure with semi-permanent nail polish

Florentina has manicure made with semi-permanent nail polish

So I will start to remove the nail polish from the nails. I will use the "nem" nail drill bit

I'll use the nail milling at a high speed

I'll short the nail..

Then I push the cuticle using the professional PRO50 manicure tool

I will remove the natural nail polish using the Long-Lasting 100/150 Professional nail file

I will give the shape of the nail

I will easily flatten the surface of the nail

I will continue to clean the nail using the nail drill bit

And I will start by using the nail drill bit number 10

in the sinus area you will clean with circular movements

I wipe the dust

Then I change the nail drill bit

and I'll use the nail drill bit number 16

and I will continue to clean the cuticle

now I'm going to use the nail drill bit 253

and I'll work with it on the side folds

To remove the cuticle I will use PRO 18 scissors

And I'll finish the folds using the silicon nail drill bit

I will use the nail drill at a speed of 5000 rotations per minute

After I finished the folds using the silicone nail drill bit

I will use the 023 naile drill bit

It is a diamond nail drill bit

The nail drill is marked with yellow which means is a soft nail drill bit and I will use it to lift the folds

I move the nail drill from center to left

I will continue with the nail preparation solutions.

The first solution I will apply to the nail is: Nail Prep

I'm waiting to dry out and I will apply the second solution which is Nail Bonder, a n acid free primer

After one minute I will apply the Rubber Base - Rose

I will apply it as a base layer

And I will apply a drop on the middle of the nail

and with the oval brush number 4

I will uniformize the base on the entire surface of the nail

and I will polymerize for 60 seconds

After polymerization I will create the apex using the Rubber Base- Rose

To ease the leveling of the product on nails, I recommend you to give a slip layer

and then we can put more product

With a thin brush (2N) I will uniform the apex

I'll take care that the apex comes right in the middle of the natural nail

Now I just flatten the apex with the brush

Now I will check if the surface of the nail is perfectly worked

and I will polymerize for two minutes at the lamp

Once we have polymerized the base in the lamp, we can apply the first layer of color

but first I will push the cuticle

I will apply the black color, Fatal Glance from the Cupio To Go!

To get closer to the cuticle I will use the same thin brush

one of the set of 3 brushes

I will pull the proximal flap

to get the color as close as possible to the cuticle

And I'll polymerize for 60 seconds on the lamp

I applied the first strat of color, Fatal Glance

This layer is just a background for the next color.. Roayl

I applied the first layer of Fatal Glance to enhance the Royal color

Polymerize for 60 seconds

After applying this layer of semi-permanent nail polish

I will apply a finish layer - Diamond Top Coat

I always turn the hand

And we'll polymerize for 60 seconds

After polymerization I will use the file nail Long-Lasting 100/150 and I'll finish the sides of the nail

Then with the white paint gel

and the 2N brush, the same brush as before

I will realize a nail design

I will make a simple flower

This technique is called "velvet sand" which means to paint over finish

I'll start by drawing a small heart

the first time I outline

and then I'll fill up

then I will draw some leaves

on one side to another

and some smaller ones

and I will continue

the nail design

with a small strain

We can add some details

because it's still winter we can draw some small snowflakes

and using the point marker I will make some points

before polymerase

I will apply the C21 pigment over the gel

and I'll put it in the lamp

Then with a brush I'll remove the glitter excess

And the nail is ready

And I will apply the cuticle oil
