Youtube daily Feb 5 2019

Tomorrow, Democrats on the House Intelligence Committee have scheduled a vote and what they're

going to be voting on is whether or not to send over some of the transcripts from the

congressional testimonies that people like Donald Trump, Jr. and Jared Kushner gave to

the intelligence community within the last two years.

You see, here's the thing, they want to send these transcripts over to Robert Mueller,

the special prosecutor because, and this was a surprise to me, mother apparently doesn't

have those.

Wouldn't you think that the guy investigating all of these idiots would need those transcripts,

need to know what these people told members of Congress behind closed doors when they

were no cameras running.

To be honest, I was quite shocked about this and then I remembered, well, Republicans did

control the house for those two years, so I guess technically it's not at all that surprising.

Nonetheless, Democrats are gonna vote tomorrow whether or not to send this information over

there.

And this is really just a procedural vote.

I Democrats control the committee.

They've got higher numbers.

So yes, this is a thing that is going to happen and in fact it would have happened a long

time ago and Republicans know that, but what Republicans did was they actually put off

assigning members to that committee in order to basically cripple it for as long as possible.

Clever move by Republicans, but ultimately it's not going to do you any good.

And again, Jared Kushner and Donald Trump Jr. are the two real targets that Democrats

say they want to send these transcripts over and they claimed that these transcripts are

explosive and that they could be of vital importance to a guy like Robert Muller.

Specifically.

What they're trying to do is prove that both Trump, Jr. and Kushner lied under oath when

they testified.

So by sending these transcripts over to Robert Muller who also has information, he's talked

to a lot more people than that a committee did within the last couple years.

So he knows a lot more than they do and he'll be able to square up those transcripts and

those statements from Trump Jr. and Kushner and whoever else may be there with what he

already has.

And if it turns out that one of them lied, there go more criminal charges.

And what's really interesting about this is that after Roger Stone got indicted, everybody's

already assuming the next two dominoes to fall down or going to be Kushner and Trump

Jr..

In fact, even before Roger Stone got indicted months ago, people were saying it's probably

going to be Roger Stone.

Then the next one's goIng to be Trump Jr. Kushner and that crew a crew, and then it's

going to be Trump himself.

Well, democrats are trying to hasten that along and say, all right, well let's get you

these documents because these are things you can probably pop these guys for a couple of

crimes with.

But as I mentioned, it may not be just Kushner and donna, a don Jr..

Here is a the entire list of people who Robert Mueller may find interesting stuff on their

transcripts that they gave before congress.

brad parscale, digital media director of the 2016 campaign for Trump.

Keith Schiller, Trump's former bodyguard, erik prince, the founder of black water, a

hope hickS, former white house comms director, felix sader for former Trump real estate associate,

steve bannon and alex next, who's the former ceo of the political consulting firm, cambridge

analytica.

They might send over all the transcripts from all those people.

They have a total of 73 different people whose transcripts they have that they could be sending

over to Robert Miller, but I think at this point they're just ready for the big fish

to finally be hauled into the boat, so I don't think they're going to worry with people like

alex nicks or hope hicks.

They want Trump Jr., and they want Kushner and after this vote tomorrow, it's likely

that they're going to send over everything.

they have the robert muller and he's going to be free to do with it whatever he feels

necessary.

Ally Brooke on 'Low Key' & 'Finding Your Harmony' Memoir | MTV News - Duration: 5:18.

- I just wanna be that artist that is up there

on that stage and who dances and who sings

and who gives the show.

There's so many layers to me as a performer

so I want people to know that

and to know that I just want them to feel confident

when they hear my record.

We had been about like 70% sure on another record. So we were prepared for my first single

to be something else

but my manager calls me and he's like

"Ally, oh my gosh, I heard this record.

It's amazing, you have to hear it.

I want this to be your next single,

that's how good it is."

And then I heard the record,

and once it was over I was like

"Oh my gosh, this is it

like this is the one."

- Low key, low key, you should really get to know me

Yeah, I know you got some things that you could show me

Low key, low key, you should really get to know me

- So then, I recorded it

and it was cool because it was actually

I think like two keys or three keys lower

and then it also was originally for

like a male to sing,

I just heard my voice on it

and I heard my perspective

and I loved the confidence in it.

Craig and Julie, who are the heads of my label,

the both were like

"This song's amazing.

We think that there could be a feature on it."

When they said "We're thinking of Tyga."

I was like "Are you kidding me?"

To have Tyga on my record

like he's so talented

and he's had such a monster year

like the stars aligned so much.

I think within two days we had the record with him on it

and I played it like twenty times in a row

because I was like

"Oh my gosh, I can't believe he's on it."

And he like killed it.

It was even better than I thought

and then he was available for the music video too

and that was it.

I definitely had like visions for the video,

and then I got together with Mike Ho,

who's the director and we just clicked instantly.

We were kind of inspired by like

'A Chorus Line,' 'Flashdance.'

We wanted a narrative in the video.

I mean, I did.

I always was like "I don't wanna just be up against the wall

just singing.

I wanna have a story behind it."

So, there's that element of the audition

to me and the guy and we kind of have like a secret

like love and romance

and then you see the evolution of me

as the performer and that confidence that is there

to the ending where we kinda have

a happily ever after.

I really was so happy with that.

It was so much fun and every part of it I felt

incredible about you know,

so it was a beautiful experience.

I just posted a snippet of the video

and we were looking at the comments

and we were just like dying laughing.

Some I just can't say because they're not appropriate

but they're so funny, they'll be like,

"Oh my God, my wig!" or like "Oh, she's coming y'all.

She's about to come and take your coins, honey."

There are those ones that are so heartfelt

and they say that you know I'm their inspiration

or I helped them find their faith again

or I helped them find their confidence again.

I mean that's remarkable.

You know that's the goal and the dream.

Forget about me like I do this for my family.

Like they are everything to me

so the fact that they're so happy right now

and they're so like proud,

it's just beautiful.

Y él me dice. Vámonos, vámonos, vámonos, Pero a la cama, a la cama, a la cama

My song "Vámanos," my family loves that record. Like they literally play it when I'm home.

They literally like "Oh my gosh Mija, we love this record.

We love that you're finally singing in Spanish."

I am planning for more Spanish songs

in 2019.

I'd love to collaborate with like a Bad Bunny,

Ozuna, J. Balvin,

Drake is really, really dope and talented.

- [Interviewer] You're coming out with a memoir in April.

What about you made you want to do a book as well?

- I've had a crazy story

and you know from my upbringing,

being a premature baby like almost not surviving my birth,

I literally could not be here right now

to my mom's scoliosis

and dealing with that for years and years

and see my mom in pain

and then the challenges of you know

being in the spotlight and what comes with that.

There's so many life lessons there

and I see a lot of my fans,

they've gone through a lot of what I've gone through

you know insecurities, bullying,

online bullying of course,

not feeling good enough and you know

in certain situations you feel like

they're never gonna get better.

I wanna shed light on my story and how I got started.

You know, a girl with a dream.

I get really deep and really personal

and I've never really gone that personal

and vulnerable before.

So I thought that was just really important

and more so I just...

It's an inspirational book so I hope that I can

help someone through my story.

LED Light Buying Guide | Understanding the Lighting Facts Label - Duration: 4:43.

Hello everyone, I'm Chris with Toolbox DIY and today I'm going to demystify all the technical

jargon you find on the back of an LED light.

I'm going to cover everything you see on this label and give you some tips on choosing the

right LED light.

Let's get started with light output.

On an LED label you'll see something called lumens.

This is the amount of output a light produces.

You don't need to understand the science behind how lumens are measured.

Just know that the higher the number, the greater the output.

So, when two bulbs say they are equivalent to a 60w incandescent, you can use the lumen

number to figure out which one is brighter or dimmer.

Now if the packaging doesn't include an equivalent to an incandescent bulb, you can refer to

the reference table that I've included on the ToolboxDIY website to help you make that

determination.

The next thing you'll find is the estimated yearly energy cost.

Now if you don't know what your kilowatt hour energy cost is I don't think that this number

is very useful.

I find it more helpful to search for an online LED savings calculator to determine how much

money you will actually save given your circumstances.

Moving down the label we see the lifespan.

I don't find this number very useful at all.

I think it's rather misleading.

It's a rather long explanation why I feel that way, but you can learn more about that

in our video "Tips for Buying LED Lights".

I really only use this number when all other things are equal and I am having a hard time

making a decision.

I might choose the one with a longer lifespan.

Next up we have the energy used.

This is the amount of power that it takes to drive this particular light.

What I actually find more useful is lumens per watt.

That tells you how efficient that this particular light is going to be.

Some labels show that, this one does not.

You can easily calculate it by dividing lumens by the watts and that will give you the efficiency.

All other things being equal, it's better to go with higher efficiency because it's

taking less power to produce the same amount of light.

Another number you might see on a label is the color rendering index or the CRI.

Unfortunately, this is becoming less common, but I still think it's a rather important

number.

This light doesn't have it nor do any of the other labels that I have, but you might find

it on the larger lights like the PAR38.

What the CRI is, it tells you how accurately colors look under this particular light.

Some people don't think this is very important, but if you have a hard time distinguishing

between a black piece of clothing and a navy-blue piece of clothing, a high CRI may be a better

option for a closet or for a bedroom.

Personally, I don't buy any lights that have a CRI under 90.

Lastly and most importantly in my opinion is the color temperature.

On this label it's noted as "Light Appearance."

This is a four-digit number followed by a K.

The K is just Kelvin which is a unit of measure of color temperature.

What you need to know is that lower the number, the more warm or orange the color of the light

will appear.

The higher the number, the more cool or blue the light will appear.

My recommendation is that bedrooms and bathrooms should get 2700 to 3000K color temperature.

Kitchens and utilities rooms, I aim for 4000-4500.

And in my garage and workshop, I go for 5000 or even higher.

Just know that the higher the number the more blue the light.

If you put this in, say, a bedroom, this could actually interfere with your circadian rhythm.

Because blue light is telling your brain it is not time to go to bed.

So you may want to consider the warmer or more orange lights for the bedroom.

Of course, color temperature is a personal preference so choose the color that works

for you.

Well that covers all the technical information you need to know to help you choose the right

LED light.

Now the label isn't the only factor in choosing a light.

You may also care about the physical appearance of the light - how the lens looks.

If the bulb is going to be exposed, the actual physical appearance may matter to you so you

have to take that into account as well.

Well, I hope you found this useful.

If you have any questions or comments, please don't hesitate to post those in the comment

trail down below.

Uh, but I'm still sorry though.

It's late buddy. You need to go to sleep.

I miss my mom.

Yeah. Me too.

(Sylvia) 'Cause he won't rest until we're all disgraced,

Hey.

Ignore them.

They're just... assholes.

-That's a bad word. -Yeah.

Well what about uh...

Ah, I don't know.

How Spotify For Artists Is Changing The Game | TDIII Talk | #22 - Duration: 4:57.

Let's talk about how Spotify for Artists is changing the game.

I just released my first song as an independent artist.

I have helped other people release a lot of music as a producer.

I had been involved in a lot of releases as a band member but I had never

produced, created,

written, and released my own material by myself

before, so I am in uncharted territory here.

If you go to my website, tomdupreeiii.com,

you look at the home page and then click the social links at the bottom and go to

Facebook, Instagram,

YouTube, anything else that's connected,

you will get a sense very quickly that my brand is very important to me.

How I am portrayed across any channel that I choose to display myself is very

important to me. So when I released my first song,

it was very important to me that I was able to represent my brand as I wanted

it to be represented on streaming platforms as well.

And Spotify for Artists, it's no mystery to you if you're

watching or listening, allows you to do this.

However, there is a lot of difficulty still in

the marketplace for being able to do that with other streaming platforms,

so if I can remember off the top of my head going down the list,

you've got Spotify, the big ones,

Apple Music, Deezer,

Tidal, Google Play,

YouTube Music, and then you've got Napster has about 30

million songs, give or take I think at this point,

30 countries, and then you've got some smaller ones

down the tier, so everybody at the top of the pile

there is where you really want to make sure you're displayed correctly for your

brand and for your artistry. Spotify has allowed you to do that with

Spotify for Artists. Not too long after Apple decided to

start doing that too. They now have Apple for Artists,

Apple Music for Artists, excuse me,

it's still in Beta, but they have it now.

I did some research and I went to see how I can effectively change my bio,

my header, my profile picture on the rest of

those-Google Play, Amazon,

which I left out, Deezer,

etc. And none of the rest of them seem to have an easy way to do that.

There are other services that allow you to do that.

Like Symphonic, you can do Symphonic Distribution,

however, that's something you have to apply for.

You can change some stuff on your distribution channel like TuneCore,

Distrokid, Amuse.io.

There are different things that you can do on different ones.

However, Spotify and Apple are the only ones to

give you direct access to your brand on their platform at this point.

And I think that's very interesting. Spotify did it first and they were

smart. They're giving more power to the

independent musician because I think they recognize that the vast majority of

the content that is hosted on their servers is for people like us,

from people like us, independent creators.

I think the label side of things, while it probably counts for a very

large portion of streaming numbers, does not count for a very large portion

of the pie of artists represented. And I find it more interesting that

Apple followed suit very quickly afterwards.

Now it can happen for a couple reasons. One Apple saw that Spotify did something

smart and they wanted to follow and nobody else has seen that,

but the more likely scenario in my opinion is that Apple has the money to

move quickly on that and music is the lifeblood of their company.

It is in their DNA, so they were not going to be beaten out

by Spotify at something that they claim to be the number one at.

I'm interested to see what happens after this.

Google has enough weight to throw behind it.

It seems... I looked at their play Google Play

Artists channel and it looks like they are trying to move things to YouTube so

you can get your artistry represented there and your brand represented there.

Um, I'm interested to see what happens with

Deezer, Tidal,

and Amazon and what they will allow in terms of customization and how quickly

they move on that because I really do think that direct access to controlling

your brand and its representation on streaming platforms is the next move.

It is the next evolution of being an artist and being a brand when you're

creating and releasing music. So if you know something I don't let me

know in the comments. Hit me up on twitter at @tomdupreeiii

and let's talk about it. See you next time.

W10315897 - Replacing Your Whirlpool Dishwasher's Front Panel Insulation - AP6261392, PS12114435 - Duration: 6:14.

Hi my name is Bill and today I'm going be showing you how to replace the front

panel insulation in your dishwasher. The reason you might have to do this because the

insulation is damaged or missing. For this repair, we'll be using a screwdriver

with a VT 15 star bit.

Warning: before doing any repairs, please disconnect your power source.

So this is the dishwasher we're going to be using for this

demonstration, it's a whirlpool. Now keep in mind yours at home might be a little

bit different than what we have here, but the same technique should still apply.

Also keep in mind we don't have a counter top for this, so we're actually

using some weights to keep it weighted down so it doesn't tip over on us. So you

might want to consider that when you're at home, and if you have to take out your

dishwasher, make sure that you're not doing anything to tip it over and make

it fall and you while you're doing a repair as well. The first thing we're

going to do is open up our dishwasher here.

So the next thing we're going to do

is we're going to take all the screws out of the door here.

So now that we have all the screws out, what I'm going to do is I'm going to

lift up the door a little bit and kind of get it back into place. However once I

get about here, let me take this door off and separate the two halves. Do that nice and

carefully. There are still a couple of wires on the inside that connect them,

but there's this wire right here and we're going to unplug that from our

control board here. And all we really need to do is just pinch two sides here,

and then pull it out.

So we've got our insulation right here. In order to get it

out, we've got two tabs that are kind of holding it in place there. So we're just

going to bend those tabs up, just like that.

And then now those tabs are bent up, you can just pull the insulation right out.

Now you can grab your new OEM replacement dishwasher insulation. If you

don't have it already, you can find it at our online store. So now we're going to

put our insulation back in, and I'm just sliding it from the bottom of the door,

sliding it right up. And then just line up the insulation

with the bottom of the door here, and then we push these tabs down into place

like so. And now we'll plug in our front console assembly to the control board,

and we'll lift up our front panel and slide it into place on this front of the door here.

And now I'm going to open up the door and I want to put the screws in

the front two corners first, and that will help hold the whole door together.

And then I can get the rest in.

Close up your door and your repair is complete.

Finally don't forget to plug in your appliance.

If you need to replace any parts for your appliances, you can find

an OEM replacement part on our website pcappliancerepair.com
