Big Pharma's Price Gouging Days Could Soon Be Over - Duration: 0:55.
Finally tonight, big pharma might be in big trouble.
Twenty state attorney generals from across the country have come together to sue some
of America's biggest drug companies for conspiring to fix generic drug prices.
In particular, that suit alleges that heritage pharmaceuticals organized dinners and meeting
with employees of competing drug companies so that they could secretly rig the system
to drive up generic prices.
This lawsuit is a great step forward towards cracking down on big pharma, but the United
States is way behind the rest of the world in dealing with big pharma price fixing.
Countries like Sweden, China, Germany, Japan have been taking big pharma companies to court
for years for price gouging.
At least we're finally doing something.
Americans have been getting nailed to the wall on drug prices for decades, and this
could help lower drug costs for all of us.

2015-2017 Mustang (GT) Blowfish Sound Tube Delete Kit Review & Install - Duration: 5:21.
What's going on guys?
I'm Alex from americanmuscle.com.
And today, I'm bringing you my very quick review and breakdown of the Blowfish Sound
Tube Delete Kit fitting your 2015 through current Mustang GT.
So in this video, I'm gonna give a very quick overview of who this kit might appeal to,
why you might wanna install this, what you should expect to be spending, and then what
it's gonna take to get this installed on your GT.
We're gonna be looking at a pretty easy one out of three wrenches in the difficulty meter
and less than 30 minutes to get this onto your car.
And I'll have a little bit more detail for you on that later.
So if you've been around the block, either in or out of the aftermarket car community,
you've probably heard at one point or another that most, if not all, cars, including the
2015 through a current Mustang, have been equipped with something called a sound tube.
Now, that's gonna be something which essentially pipes more noise into your cabin to give you
a little bit more of an engine sound.
Now, the sound tube itself is a pretty unnecessarily large apparatus, for lack of a better term,
and it's honestly about probably this big.
And given that it's just added weight, its purpose, again, is essentially to pipe in
more intake resonance directly into your cabin to give you a little bit more of a engine
sound.
But, in my personal opinion, I think it's pretty on the artificial side, and it's just
something that you really don't need in your car.
So if you've been in somebody else's Mustang that did have this mod installed, there's
probably a decent chance you heard a little bit of a change in tonality here.
But having been in a few GTs myself with this mod installed, I've gotta tell you it's a
little bit on the minimal side.
But something that I did personally notice is that if you're to install a throttle body
intake manifold or a cold air intake on a car that does have the sound tube installed,
it's essentially gonna be watering down that sound from your engine bay.
Now on the flip side, if you were to have this installed with the aforementioned modifications,
the sound that you would be hearing from under the hood would be that much greater.
So you're essentially gonna be hearing a lot much more air traveling around, lot much more
sucking when you're on and off the gas.
So by installing this Sound Tube Delete Kit from Blowfish, I will go on record and say
that this is gonna be more of a tonality change.
This isn't gonna be like something where you're gutting your cats or you're installing an
axle back exhaust where, as soon as you fire up your car, it's gonna be apparent.
Again, if you're gonna throw this in and you're gonna install a cold air intake and a throttle
body down the road, you're gonna get much more engine noise being incorporated into
your cabin.
Whereas if you were to leave your factory sound tube installed, you'd be getting a little
bit more slop getting piped into the cabin, which, again, I think is a little bit more
on the artificial sounding side and just fake.
So one last thing I definitely like about this kit, or at least the removal of the factory
sound tube, is that, again, it's gonna be pretty unnecessarily long.
When you pull this out of your engine bay, you're probably gonna think to yourself, "Why
was this even installed in the factory?"
Which, again, was just to give somebody a little bit more noise in the cabin.
But, by removing this, it's gonna clean up your engine bay pretty nicely, in my opinion.
And, again, you're only gonna be looking at an addition of about maybe one to two pounds
of added weight.
Now a quick little feature that Blowfish likes to call out here is that in the event you're
gonna be installing a new head unit down the road or if you're just gonna be swapping in
something else, you can easily drill right through here, so you can run your wires right
through your firewall.
So in terms of the pricing here, guys, you're looking at 10 bucks for this kit, which is
really just a no-brainer for me.
You're looking for a really quick-to-install modification over the weekend or some day
after work, you just want a wrench on your car, it's gonna be a great option for you.
I do wanna say, in comparison to some of the other options out there, you're gonna see
that they do have a tendency to get up there in price, which I personally think that the
Blowfish option is gonna be that much better, as there's really no need to spend that much
more on something where it's literally just gonna be the leading that sound tube.
All right, guys.
So switching gears to the installation portion of the video, just like I had said up top,
you're looking at a pretty straightforward one out of three wrenches in the difficulty
meter and about 15 to 30 minutes to remove your factory sound tube and plug that into
this unit right here.
Now, while I will usually say that most, if not all, of the modifications that we've installed
here are pretty easy, one thing that I will definitely throw out there is that if you've
got a friend or maybe a child that's got small hands, definitely rope them in to help you
get the factory sound tube removed, as you're gonna be thanking yourself later at the end
of the day.
So the easy install here is definitely a huge selling point for me, aside from needing some
small hands to pull the factory kit.
You're gonna wanna start by accessing the tube down by your throttle body and then essentially
working your way up the dripper side of your valve covers to the firewall.
You're essentially gonna need to pull the tube a couple clamps and then chase it back
to the firewall and then move back to the front of the vehicle where you're essentially
gonna plug this, and you're good to go.
And honestly, it doesn't get any easier than that.
And while I know it's much easier said than done, you're looking at about 15 to 30 minutes
before you complete it here.
All right, guys.
So just to wrap things up here, some final thoughts, if you're the 2015 through current
S550 GT owner, you're not only looking to clean up your engine bay and remove that obnoxious
looking sound tube, but you're looking to get away from having some of that artificial
noise piped into your cabin, I would definitely check out this option from Blowfish for your
GT.
