JUSTICE SERVED To Red Hen Owner As She's Forced Out After Sudden Turn Of Events.
I consider this very good news.
Stephanie Wilkinson, the owner of the now infamous Red Hen restaurant in Lexington,
VA that kicked out White House Press Secretary Sarah Huckabee Sanders and seven members of
her family, has resigned as the executive director of a group of local business owners
who work to promote the community.
This came after a poll was conducted on whether she should stay or go.
I voted in that poll against her and for once it made a difference.
So much for her envisioning herself as some kind of local hero over her disgraceful behavior.
Wilkinson told The Washington Post that she asked Sanders to leave because the restaurant
employs several LGBT employees and Sanders' defense of President Trump's call to bar
transgender people from the military were antithetical to her beliefs.
Wilkinson already had to take down her Facebook page because she got hammered and hacked there.
I also hear that business for Wilkinson has taken a severe hit.
After Sanders was 86'd from the Red Hen, conservatives and Trump supporters took to
Yelp and blasted Wilkinson.
That was only hours after the incident took place.
Then protesters that support the Trump administration showed up outside the Red Hen.
That got media attention.
Some carried enormous Trump flags and donned red "Make America Great Again" hats.
Others carried signs asking for tolerance and civility.
And as it kicked into high gear, many just showed up to watch.
The incident sparked many protests and a whole lot of criticism from Trump supporters and
even some Democrats.
The Republican Party of Virginia has called for a boycott of the business.
A raucous demonstration occurred when people gathered outside the Red Hen to protest the
restaurant's treatment of Press Secretary Sarah Huckabee Sanders.
"I'm appalled at the way they treated the press secretary, and I think if people
don't make a stand, that kind of stuff will continue around the state and around the country,"
said Ian McDonald, 34, of Accomack County.
"So we've got to send a message that it's not acceptable."
"I think by [Wilkinson] making the choice to do this, she opened herself up to a fired-up
country," Paulette DelCasale, from Georgia, said while protesting outside the restaurant.
"I believe this city is losing its identity," said Simon Islam, a senior at Washington and
Lee University, which is in Lexington.
"It's become too liberal, and it's had a negative impact."
Lauren Green at Fox News asked a very good question over all of this:
"The owner of the Red Hen restaurant in Lexington, Virginia missed a prime opportunity
to live out the framed words of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. that are on display in the
restaurant's window: "Love is the only force capable of transforming an enemy into
a friend."
"Those words are very close to the sentiment of President Abraham Lincoln, who after the
Civil War said of the Southern combatants: "Do I not destroy my enemies when I make
them my friends?"
"If restaurant owner Stephanie Wilkinson so disagreed with White House Press Secretary
Sarah Sanders, the Trump administration and all Cabinet members so strongly, why didn't
she see Sanders' presence in her restaurant as a gift from God to try to transform an
enemy into a friend?"
Indeed, it was a missed opportunity that could have actually helped Wilkinson's cause.
Evidently, the Golden Rule is much more difficult than it sounds: "Do unto others as you would
have them do unto you."
VA State Representative Ben Cline profusely apologized for the actions of the Red Hen
restaurant owner and made it clear they do not support what she did.
She also stalked Sanders' in-laws when they left and went to another restaurant where
she assembled a mob to harass them.
Wilkinson proceeded to protest against them there as well.
Cline also claims that Stephanie Wilkinson is a cousin of Meryl Streep's.
Why am I not surprised.
Her actions negatively impacted the Facebook page for The Historic City of Lexington, VA.
It had to be shut down after getting deluged with negative comments on all this.
They were the ones who ran the poll and whose board Wilkinson was removed from as director
of the downtown business district.
80% wanted her gone and that was all it took for her to resign.
The Red Hen restaurant itself has evidently shut its doors for an undetermined amount
of time.
Justin Peery, the owner of Good Place Farms Bed & Breakfast, which hosted the Sanders
family last week, said Wilkinson will not reopen the restaurant until July 5.
I wouldn't hold my breath on that one.
Sounds like justice to me.
Wilkinson has the right to kick out whomever she wants, but she also has the right to go
out of business when people stop going there.
Things just aren't going her way.
So much for her version of morality.
The extended shutdown will cost the employees and owners significantly.
Main Street Lexington's Board President, Elizabeth Branner, accepted Wilkonson's
resignation yesterday morning.
"Considering the events of the past weekend, Stephanie felt it best that for the continued
success of Main Street Lexington, she should step aside," Branner wrote in an email.
She's right… some mistakes you just can't come back from.

Protestors Prepare GIANT Baby Trump Blimp To Mock Trump In England - Duration: 3:02.
For at least a year now there has been this will they, won't they relationship between
Donald Trump and Great Britain on whether or not he's ever going to make his official
visit there.
It had been planned a couple times, it had been canceled a couple times, postponed a
few times, but now the official visit is set for July 13th.
When Donald Trump touches down in the United Kingdom he is going to be greeted by a 20
foot tall blimp that is actually an image of a baby Donald Trump with a diaper.
That is the form of protest that British protesters have decided is the best way to show Donald
Trump that he is not welcome in their country and that they do not respect him.
This to me is one of the greatest forms of protest imaginable, because the people over
there seem to understand Donald Trump in a way that a lot of the folks in the United
States don't quite get.
Here's an exact quote, this is from Leo [Murray 00:01:07], he is the guy who organized all
this, got the blimp together, raised the money to do it.
This is what he says, and this is so spot on, "Moral outrage has no effect on Trump
because he has no shame.
He's immune to it but he has a tremendously fragile ego, so ridicule is an effective form
of protest.
So we want to make sure that he knows that all of Britain is looking down on him and
laughing at him."
That's what you have to do.
That's how you resist.
That's how you fight back against this man.
You can't try to show him the truth, you can't try to show him that his policies are destroying
the United States, that they're wrecking the economy, that they're destroying families,
that they're destroying the environment because he doesn't care.
To be honest he probably doesn't quite understand it, but what he does understand is when people
are making fun of him.
That is exactly what the Brits are going to do here.
They're going to make sure that he gets off that plane and where ever he goes, that there
is a giant 20 foot baby Trump following him around the city, and they've made sure that
if they can't get the permit to fly the blimp, that they have already got a barge ready and
they're just going to have it on the barge.
So there is no way that the president is not going to see this thing.
They're going to make sure that he knows what the rest of the world thinks of him and it's
going to be interesting for Donald because one of the reasons he'd been putting off this
trip was because he didn't want to be met by protestors, so they've up it.
They may not be in the streets, I'm sure there'll probably be a lot of them though but they
don't have to be at this point because the biggest form of protest imaginable is going
to be hovering over Donald Trump's head through his entire visit.

LBW: So you have four basic generalized alternatives here and you've got Leviathan Behemoth Mao
and then you've got Climate X Climate X is this at least in my opinion I would like to
have and I think something that you seem to advocate for in some way as well so let's
just describe that real quick and give an idea of what the more positive potential future
could be regarding the research that you've done
define X that's why the last section of the book explores it in some detail but if I had
to begin by putting it formulaically the future that we describe the path into the future
that we describe as Climate X is a scenario where somehow we have managed to overcome
the capitalist organization of the global economy while also avoiding the creation of
a planetary sovereignty and therefore have managed to while indeed also while also overcoming
the contemporary form of sovereignty which is organized on to put it bluntly radically
non-democratic basis so that's a very tall order and I think that the easiest way to
understand it is is a utopian vision and so as soon as I say well it's utopian then one
might reasonably ask then what's the point don't we need something concrete and our response
to that would be to say that climate change is particularly complicated as politics because
it presents itself as a crisis of the imagination and that even on the political left we see
a deep crisis of the inability to imagine how to confront climate change except for
accepting something we describe as Climate Leviathan a capitalist world order that at
least has some powerful adults at the top trying to avoid some of the worst possible
outcomes and so the problem is as long as we're stuck within a political horizon where
that's the best we can imagine then we really are in trouble and we need to as a first step
towards radically working our way out of this difficult situation to develop a much clearer
critical perspective on where we stand in terms of the Earth's natural history in terms
of human political history as a way of sketching a new imaginary of a new utopian prospect
for a radically different organization of power in the world that was a preface now
I didn't answer your question what is X what does that really mean I mean what we're really
talking about is what we would and this clearly this is not really our idea in any sense it's
an idea which already is playing itself out all over the world in many people's lives
and we would never dare and try to take credit for it but it's the idea of trying to say
okay well if we need to confront capitalism in order to deal with climate change and if
the way to do that is start with where you are then what we're describing is an effort
of building upon the social and ecological struggles that are already happening all over
the world mainly led by poor people and women and people of color and indigenous people
and working people and so forth and so on in other words it's about trying to radicalize
and unite all those disparate struggles so that they could become something like the
beginning of a very different way of organizing the world so that's concretely what we're
talking about and in that sense I suppose someone could legitimately criticize our book
as saying it's just a really long winded way of celebrating some of the most radical stuff
that's happening in the world but I think Geoff and I would be quite flattered with
that description because we do want to celebrate the great things that are happening in the
world but at the same time we think we also have something important to contribute which
is a very honest analytical theoretically grounded historically aware perspective on
just how great the challenge is and how far we have to go so our effort to contribute
to that struggle goes beyond our own political involvement but into this kind of work that
involves think and writing and teaching about questions that we all need to attend to like
what are we really trying to fight for that's a bit long winded let me put it to really
bluntly put it more negatively if I could when we've been involved in climate justice
work we have often felt that if we're really honest a lot of what people think they're
struggling for and what they're actually likely to achieve are so far apart that we need to
have a clearer understanding of what we we are really trying to do and that's what we
want to contribute to because we don't want to accidentally find out that through some
kind of ruse of history we've all been fighting to build Climate Leviathan when what we really
wanted was Climate X

clickfunnels affiliate boot camp and this is day nine of the 100-day
clickfunnels affiliate boot camp I'm your coach I'm Statia Kennedy your
online marketing coach and I'm so excited because this is where it really
gets good in day 9 as a tip here is to basically curate other people's podcasts
to build your list ok so you want to be able to keep building your list being
able to attract the right clients who are interested in the product yet you
are promoting in this case click funnels is the product that I'm promoting and
click funnels the click funnels affiliate bootcamp is teaching you
different tips and tricks to promote their product but you can also use these
same tips to promote anything to sell anything that you want to sell as an
affiliate or even if you own a product but in this case as an affiliate you can
leverage other people's podcasts so I'm sure that you listen to a ton of podcast
or videos and if you're interested in those type of videos or podcast you may
be your target audience would be as well so or if you think about it in that
sense of whoever the target audience that you want to attract you can
actually create a page promoting that podcast and then on the back end of the
podcast once someone actually opts in you can you know put the offer that
you're selling in front of them so in this case day 9 you can watch the video

this this landing page that is shown as you know promoting it so that's where
it's really exciting about it so it's not content that you have to to recreate
right it's something that's already created but you're putting it behind
your landing page to build your list I hope that makes sense guys so if you
don't understand this this concept please comment below and and I will you
know or reach out to me privately in messenger and I will try to explain it
to you in a different way but this is so exciting because you don't have to
create the content right you're you leveraging other people's content I
listen to so many podcasts and I'm sure if you if I'm interested in it hopefully
you are too right or if that's who your target market is right if you are your
target market step three you can create an action funnel what the action funnel
is is a series of emails that people would get after they opt-in to your list
so you want to have want to creepy able to create those emails promoting that
product or service you want to have at least have five and then obviously if
they still haven't purchased you can put them in a whole nother series and it
also explains how to segment those people using click funnels action etics
so make sure to jump in on the bootcamp challenge I've actually created this for
another program I've used the same trick I had I went to an event called the the
Internet traffic live event so this is my back in office and my mentor one of
my mentors Vince Reed did an interview with Chris record and I just really
loved that interview so I created a landing page promoting that interview
basically it doesn't really look like it's interview but it's a story that
they had you know an interview that they did together and the story was or the
headline of the podcast was how to build a million dollars a month in revenue
business so I promoted this opt Paige and when someone opted in they
would get the audio or the the video of that that interview and I just put it on
the in the inside of this opt-in page so I captured the lead they get to listen
to the the odd the podcast video and below that video he was also on one of
the speakers at the event and below that video I put a link to my affiliate link
to the event to get people to come to the event or subscribe and purchase a
ticket to the event and so they would go to that landing page selling the event
so this is something you could do with any affiliate product if your product
that you're promoting has a podcast or they have videos or they have awesome
content that they're creating you don't have to create the content you can just
borrow their content that they're already using which is good content good
high converting content put it behind a landing page an opt-in page share it
with the world Dule a facebook livestream like we did
yesterday or that we that I shared with you in step 8 or day 8 of the hundred
day challenge was do of a live livestream maybe do a live stream about
about this podcast thing you know about the tips and things that you learn from
the podcast and at the end of the podcast or at the end of your live
stream the call to action is if you want to if you want to personally listen to
the pockets that I watched click the link below is below this video and I'll
send it to you right so you're not promising that you have created this
content you're saying I watch this really awesome podcast and now I want to
share it with you so go and opt-in below this video and grab it right and then
your your funneling them through your your your opt-in to to build your list
right and then you're taking that live stream video that we did yesterday you
know in the tip and running adds to it so you're building your credibility
you're building your your audience and and then
funneling them into your to your funnel and to your opt-in page giving them a
call to action to hate come onto my list I can share with you more stuff that I
come across with and you know across that that maybe that that your audience
would like right so I'm so exciting you guys I want to see you guys do this you
know obviously I'm gonna be this was a product or a a trick that I used another
tricked or a strategy that I used to promote this live event but what I'm
gonna do now is do this for for click funnels right so one of the things that
I can do is click funnels does a whole bunch of different content and one of
the things that they also have they have this marketing your car podcast he also
has a funnel hacker radio podcast they have blog posts you can promote a blog
post that they that your company does again if you're doing this for click
funnels you want to use some of the content that they already have been
creating they just massively create ton of content so funnel hacker radio they
have a YouTube channel they basically you know they do they'll do a lot of
repurposing they have it on iTunes they have it on stitcher radio they have it
you know everywhere so you can go and find some awesome content they they
created put it but on create a landing page put this audio on that on the back
