Youtube daily Dec 24 2016

What's going on, guys?

I'm Alex from americanmuscle.com, and this is my quick overview of the Stainless Steel

Shifter Plate fitting your 2010 through 2014 F-150.

So in this video, we're gonna take a quick look at who this might appeal to, what you

should expect to be spending, the materials and construction that went into this plate.

And then last but not least, we're going to take a look at the installation which right

off the bat, I'm going to be giving an incredibly easy one out of three wrenches in the difficulty

meter.

And you should have this on your truck in less than 15 minutes.

So this should definitely appeal to the 2010 through 2014 F-150 owner, that's either looking

to cover up some war wounds from over the years or just to give your truck a little

bit of nice modern flair.

So no matter the interior color of your F-150 or however it was optioned, stainless steel

always has a tendency to really bring everything together on the inside as it's going to look

very clean and give you a very nice, subtle touch.

Not only that, it's going to mesh very well with some of the existing OE trim inside of

your truck.

So taking a quick look at the construction here.

We're going to see that this is going to be manufactured from 100% 304 stainless steel

and then finished off in a nice brush finish which again is going to complement the interior

of your F-150 very nicely.

Additionally, we're going to see the manufacturer here is gonna have this made with guided precision

cut lasers to ensure that you're going to have a precision fit inside of your truck

as well as being backed by limited lifetime warranty.

So taking a look at the pricing here, you should expect to be spending right around

50 bucks for this piece.

That's typically where you're going to see most if not all stainless steel pieces come

in line.

Again, for the money here, you're going to be getting away with some great craftsmanship.

It's going to bring your truck up to modern-day standards.

Looking into the installation here, just like I had said at the beginning of the video,

you're going to be looking at an incredibly easy one out of three wrenches in the difficulty

meter and about less than 15 minutes to get this onto your truck.

Now, the installation alone is definitely going to be a very large selling point for

me as most if not all of these interior accessories are going to apply with 3M double-sided tape.

Now, I will add that this kit is going to come supplied with an adhesion promoter that

we have right here.

And the purpose of this is to ensure that you're going to have a very tight bond.

But before you peel this and stick it onto your truck, it's a really great idea to make

sure that the surface where you're applying this on is going to be clean and free of any

type of grease or wax debris to ensure that you're going to have a great fit.

All right.

So just to wrap things up here, some final thoughts.

If you're the 2010 through 2014 F-150 owner, and you're either looking to incorporate just

a little bit of stainless steel into your interior or if you're looking to cover up

some war wounds as your shifter's going to be in a high traffic area, I would definitely

suggest checking out this part for your truck.

So that's my quick overview and breakdown of the Stainless Steel Shifter Plate fitting

your 2010 through 2014 F-150, available right here at americanmuscle.com.

2015-2017 Mustang MMD Tail Light Trim - Matte Black Review & Install - Duration: 4:10.

Hey, guys.

Adam here with americanmuscle.com.

Today, I'm bringing you a quick overview and installation of the MMD Tail Light Trim in

a matte black finish available for all 2015 and newer Mustangs, excluding the 50th anniversary

edition models.

So in this video, of course, we'll be going over the styling and appearance you can expect

when adding this tail light trim from MMD.

I'll even touch on the materials and construction.

I'll top the video off with the install, which I'll let you know upfront, gets a very easy,

one out of three wrenches on our difficulty meter, simply because this will install using

3M automotive bonding tape.

The MMD Tail Light Trim you see here will be for any 2015 or newer Mustang owner who's

looking to add a little bit more detail to the rear end of their S550, more specifically,

those tri-bar iconic tail lights.

And in this case, you're adding a tail light trim that comes in a sleek matte black finish.

So I'm sure, most of us can agree that the S550 tail lights is probably one of the most

aggressive takes on that tri-bar design, dating all the way back the mid-'60s.

Now with that said, some people out there who own the S550 might think that it could

use a little bit more detail, just to spice up that appearance.

If that's the case, you might be looking into any trim or bezels in the aftermarket world,

just to surround that 3D design a little bit more.

Now, in this case, in my personal opinion, the matte black finish that MMD has on this

particular tail light trim would actually top off that rear-end and give it that little

bit of detail that it kind of needs just to make it pop a little bit more.

As far as the materials and construction goes, this is pretty straightforward, especially

when it comes to these aftermarket trims.

You can expect a high quality ABS plastic, something extremely lightweight, extremely

durable, something that is somewhat flexible but can take a beating.

It's also UV protected, so it's great for the guys out there attending a lot of car

shows, using this as a daily driver, something that's parked on the street a lot, is exposed

to a lot of sunlight.

This thing isn't gonna fade, it's not gonna crack over time.

And, you know, MMD is actually pretty known for making quality parts like this for your

exterior, so I'm not surprised with this particular construction here.

As far as the price goes, if you're interested in picking up the tail light trim from MMD

you see here, you can expect to be spending about 150 bucks.

Now, in my personal opinion, after holding this, I don't think it's a very bad price

at all, especially for the guys out there attending a lot of shows, or even if you're

trying to complete an all-out blackout look for your exterior.

Now, if you're to get the black paint, the black interior, the black wheels, all you

need to do is top off that rear-end to give the tail lights a little bit more black since

obviously, they're coming in a red color.

Now with that said, 150 bucks and it's yours.

My personal opinion, not a bad price at all.

And I think with the matte black look, it really adds the detail that the rear-end needs.

Now, I'm gonna shift gears over to the install portion of the video.

If you're interested in getting this installed on your S550, I want you to know, it installs

extremely easily with 3M automotive bonding tape that is provided for you in the kit.

Now, 3M automotive bonding tape is a very, very solid adhesive bonding here, so this

is something that isn't gonna fall off over time.

It'll stay on as long as you want it to, and it's easily removable if you wanna take it

off.

Now with that said, you're not gonna need any hand tools, any special hand tools at

that.

The only thing you'll need are the alcohol wipes provided in the kit, just to clean off

the area to get a good bonding.

Now with that said, you'll be using the alcohol wipes to clean off your factory tail lights,

of course, the area all around the tail lights that you'll be applying this to.

Once you have that taken care of, you'll use the 3M automotive bonding roll that's included

in the kit, you'll cut off little strips, and you'll see on the back here, there are

separate spaces here, just to show you exactly where the 3M tape will go.

Once you have that stuck in the back of the trim, peel off the backing on that tape, and

stick it right into place.

Repeat that process for the opposite side, and you're good to go.

Overall, I'll say, about 15 to 20 minutes on the install, and a one out of three wrenches

on our difficulty meter.

Now, just to wrap up this overview and install, guys, if you're the owner of a 2015 or newer

S550 Mustang, excluding the 50th anniversary edition, you might be looking to get a little

bit more detail for your rear-end of your S550, including those tail lights.

So if you are, you might wanna check out the MMD Tail Light Trim in the matte black finish,

which of course is available right here at americanmuscle.com.

2009-2014 F-150 RBP RX-2 Black Locking Fuel Door Review & Install - Duration: 4:01.

Hey, guys.

Adam here with americanmuscle.com.

Today I'm bringing you a quick overview and installation of the RBP RX-2 Locking and Unlocking

Black Fuel Doors, available for all '09 to '14 F-150s, excluding the Flareside models.

So in this video, I'll be going over the benefits and appearance of the locking and unlocking

fuel doors as well as their materials and construction.

I'll top the video off with the install, which I'll let you know up front gets a one out

of three wrenches on our difficulty meter, making this a very simple install for almost

anybody to take care of with simple hand tools.

So the RBP RX-2 Locking and Non-Locking Black Fuel Doors, like you see here, will be for

any '09 to '14 F-150 owner looking to replace their boring stock fuel door with something

a bit more aggressive, a bit more customized, while also getting the peace of mind of a

locking fuel door on top of that.

So the fuel door you see on the table with me today is a non-locking fuel door option,

but they also have an identical option that has a lock right on the front here and it

comes with its own key.

Now, of course, that locking option's gonna be for the guys who want that added peace

of mind, just to make sure their gas is safe and nobody's putting anything in them.

Now, of course, you can always get the non-locking option if you're looking for a sleeker look.

Now, it's definitely up to your personal preference.

Either way, it's completely replacing your factory fuel door and gives a very direct

bolt-on installation.

Now, like I said, this one I have here is the non-locking fuel door, but as far as the

locking option goes, it really has two main functions, the first of which is sitting right

up there in the title.

It's a locking fuel door.

That way, it's safe from outside threats and you're the only one who has access to it,

as long as you have your key handy.

Now, with that said, that's gonna be for the guys out there looking for the added peace

of mind, but if you don't think it's really necessary, you can go for the one you see

here, which is the exact same option, just without the lock.

Now, that second main reason I mentioned actually applies to both options, the locking and the

non-locking, and it's simply just gonna be the styling and appearance.

Now, as you can see here, this one offers a huge difference at compared to your stock

fuel door.

Now, of course, you get a black powder-coated finish with stainless steel rivets all the

way around here, very aggressive, very smooth feel.

It actually does feel like a very high-quality product.

On the front, you actually get the RBP logo with the R and star stamped right into the

materials, so this one isn't gonna be just, you know, brushed on.

It's actually embedded right in there.

Very high-quality fuel door, I think, so if you're looking for an aggressive switch, an

aggressive change from the factory option, this is a pretty good way to start, in my

personal opinion.

So if you're interested in the durable aluminum construction with the stainless steel accents

and the stainless backing here, you can pick up this option for just north of 100 bucks.

Now, of course, this is gonna be one of the more expensive fuel doors out on the market,

but of course, north of 100 bucks is gonna be for the locking option.

Just shy of that will be for the non-locking option, so it all comes down to your preference

and how much you wanna spend and what you wanna get out of it.

So as far as the installation goes for this product, of course, like I said, it's gonna

exclude the Flareside beds, so if that's the model you have, unfortunately, this option

is not going to fit your bed style.

But for the '09 to '14 guys out there who wanna install this, it's gonna be a very simple

15, maybe 20-minute install with a simple flat-head screwdriver.

So to kick things off, you wanna use your flat-head screwdriver to pry off the factory

fuel door cover from the assembly and the housing.

From there, you wanna remove the no cap fuel cover and then the three bolts holding that

to the housing.

So once you get that off, all you have to do is simply bolt the bracketing system from

the back of the RBP option into place the same way you took the factory one off.

From there, you can simply test out the locking features on the locking fuel door, and if

you're working with the non-locking fuel door, you're good to go.

Overall, like I said, 15 to 20 minutes on the install and 1 out of 3 wrenches on our

difficulty meter.

Just to wrap up the overview and install, if you're the owner of an '09 to '14 F-150,

excluding the Flareside models, and you're looking for a way to pick up some safety and

security for your fuel cap as well as some external aggression, you might wanna check

out the RBP RX-2, both Locking and Non-Locking Fuel Doors in Black, which are available right

here at americanmuscle.com.

1994-2004 Mustang KONI STR.T Shock & Strut Kit (GT, V6, Mach 1, Cobra) Review - Duration: 6:29.

Hey, guys.

Adam here with americanmuscle.com.

Today, I'm bringing you a detailed overview of the KONI STR.T Shocks & Struts Kit, fitting

all '94 to '04 GT, V6, and Mach 1s as well as the '94 to '98 Cobras.

In this video, I'll be going over the performance and benefits added to your suspension when

upgrading to the KONI Shocks & Struts Kit as well as all the materials and construction

that goes into the kit.

I'll top the video off with the install.

Which I'll let you know upfront here gets a two out of three wrenches on our difficulty

meter, simply because this isn't the hardest job in the world, but it is a bit more involved

than a direct bolt-on.

The KONI STR.T Shock & Strut Kit I have with me today will be for any '94 to '04 GT, V6,

or Mach 1 owner as well as any '94 to '98 Cobra owner who's looking to pick up a pretty

serious suspension upgrade to improve their ride quality overall without picking up something

as expensive as a fully adjustable ride setup.

So the first things first, I wanna point when exactly it may be a good time to pick up a

new set of shock and struts.

If you're currently driving your New Edge or early SN95 Mustang and you're feeling a

sense of poor ride quality or if you're feeling kind of every bump on the road, it may be

time to upgrade those factory shocks and struts.

Now, if that's the case, the KONI STR.Ts, otherwise known as the KONI Orange, as you

can see by their finish, are a perfect upgrade for the guys out there currently running factory

shocks and struts and want a better ride quality without having to feel every bump in the road.

You get a sense of more stability, while also getting a sense of better ride comfort.

This is even gonna be a really good setup for the guys out there running a daily driver,

a weekend warrior, or maybe just the occasional track queen.

So the KONI STR.Ts, or the KONI Orange, like I said, are one step below the KONI Sport

adjustables, which actually have a full range of adjustability.

Now, these KONI STR.Ts do not have that.

These are actually a fixed dampening, basically meaning they have the exact same dampening

you'd get right out of the box with no adjustability.

Now, like I said, this is perfect for the street guys out there, maybe the occasional

track queen.

If you're looking for a bit more, if you're going to the track a lot more often, or if

you're taking hard corners a lot more, you might wanna think about picking up the adjustability

option with the KONI Sports, simply because you can actually fine-tune it a lot more to

your preference.

So I, firsthand, can actually tell you I have this exact kit installed on my '95 Cobra,

and you might actually recognize that from the November Hot Lap.

But with that said, I can tell you firsthand that this is a very comfortable ride suspension

for the front and rear.

You don't feel many bumps on the road, and I'm actually very, very happy with their performance.

There isn't very much in the world that I'd trade these for.

Now, as far as materials and construction goes, this option here, both front and rear,

are designed with a gas-pressurized twin-tube design with a larger-diameter piston, which

gives this all the more comfort and ride stability.

Now, KONI has been making shocks and struts for literally decades now, so it would not

be a KONI option without the orange finish with the KONI logo printed right on the tubing

here.

My personal opinion, this is one of the best suspension upgrades without actually going

up to a Sport Adjustable.

Now, one of the great things about this particular option is they are made to work with either

your stock ride height or lowering springs as well.

Now, if you're picking up lowering springs, this is a perfect time to pick up a KONI Sport

Adjustable and vice versa since the installation is very, very similar.

You are gonna have to remove the springs and what-not in order to get these installed.

And you do the exact same thing with the opposite side, if you're picking up lowering springs.

Now, with that said, these are made to work with any ride height in particular, so no

matter what your spring rate is or whatever your spring drop is, these are gonna be working

perfectly with that.

Now, with that said, if you're looking to pick up a fully adjustable option that you

can tweak on the fly, depending on your personal ride preference and what you're doing with

that particular day, you might wanna check out the KONI Sport Adjustables, which I just

mentioned, which are actually going to be a yellow finish.

So if you check those KONI Yellows out, they're gonna be on the site as well.

So if you're looking to pick up the KONI Orange setup for yourself, expect to be spending

somewhere in the $400 region, which is actually kind of considered a more budget-friendly

option.

Now, as you can see when you're looking around on the site, there's a lot of adjustability

options out there as well as some fixed damperings like this one here.

Now, if you're not looking for the adjustable option, I would definitely point you in the

direction of the KONI Orange.

Shifting gears over to the install portion of the video, like I said in the very beginning,

this isn't something that is going to be a direct bolt-on.

It's a little more involved than that, but it's not the hardest job in the world.

I'm gonna give it a two out of three wrenches on our difficulty meter and give it something

you can expect to finish in about four hours or so, maybe the better part of the afternoon.

Now, with that said, you're gonna wanna have some very specific hand tools on deck, like

a ratchet and a simple socket set, as well as a jack and jack stand or a lift if you

have access to one.

And you'll definitely want to have a spring compressor on hand to safely and properly

remove and reinstall your springs.

Just to give you an idea of a rough overview of what you'd be working with as far as the

install is concerned, you're gonna wanna make sure your car's in the air safely and supported

on jack stands.

For the front, you wanna remove one of the wheels, drop the entire brake assembly out

of the way, remove the top strut tower from under the hood, remove the bolts holding that

top strut, remove the bolts on the bottom where the end links are, and, of course, pull

the whole strut out of the system.

Now, you're gonna have to use that spring compressor to safely and properly remove those

springs and, of course, transfer them over to the new KONI setup.

Now, you're gonna reinstall everything in the exact reverse order, pull the brake assembly

back up into place, bolt everything down to spec.

Now, the top and bottom of the struts will actually torque down to somewhere around 85-foot

pounds, but you wanna make sure you're consulting the user's manual or some kind of installation

guide before you actually torque it down to any spec.

Moving on to the rears, this is going to be extremely similar to the front with the exception

of a few minor changes.

The top of the shock can actually be found inside the trunk liner, so you wanna keep

that in mind while you're tackling this.

And if you're handling lowering springs at the same time as well, which is highly recommended

since it's so similar of an install, you're gonna support the weight of the differential

housing in order to slip out the rear springs.

And once that's all said and done, you can wrap it up doing the exact same thing in the

reverse order to install the KONI setup.

Repeat the process for all of the wheels there, and you're good to go.

Now, I am gonna give this one a two out of three wrenches on our difficulty meter.

And like I said, it's a little bit more involved than a direct bolt-on, so you're gonna wanna

have a little bit of mechanical expertise or some kind of knowledge on hand.

If not, just have a helping hand on deck.

All said and done, four hours on the install, the better part of an afternoon, and you're

good to go.

Wrapping things up, if you're the owner of a '94 to '04 GT, V6, or Mach 1 or a '94 to

'98 Cobra and you're interested in upgrading your suspension package, such as your shocks

and struts a lot more comfortable and street performance ready, you might wanna check out

the KONI STR.T Shock & Strut Kit, available right here at americanmuscle.com.

2010-2014 F-150 Brushed Rear View Mirror Trim w/ Raptor Logo Review & Install - Duration: 2:24.

What's going on guys?

I'm Alex from americanmuscle.com, and this is my quick overview of the rear view mirror

Raptor style trim fitting your 2010 through 2014 F-150.

So in this video, I wanna talk about who this might appeal to, what you should expect to

be spending, the construction, and materials that went into this.

And then, last but not least, we'll take a very quick look at the installation where

you're going to be looking at an incredibly easy 1 out of 3 wrenches on the difficulty

meter and less than 15 minutes to get this into your truck.

This should definitely appeal to the F-150 and Raptor owner that's looking to incorporate

a little bit of brushed stainless flair into their truck.

Now this is going to be a 100% Ford licensed product as it's going to be a little bit tough

to see, but there is a Raptor logo right here.

Again, this is going to appeal to the guys out there no matter if you're an F-150 owner

or a Raptor owner that's looking to have just a little bit more extra flair on the inside

of their truck.

In terms of the construction and materials here we're going to see this is going to be

comprised of 100% stainless steel.

Not only that, this will be officially licensed by Ford and feature a laser-etched Raptor

logo.

Not only that, because you're going to be getting away with stainless steel you can

rest easy knowing that this is going to last a lifetime inside of your truck.

In terms of the pricing here you should expect to be spending right around 40 bucks for this

piece.

I've got to say for this being something that's going to install simply right around your

rear view mirror I think it's a little bit on the higher side.

But if you're the Raptor owner or an F-150 owner that's looking to incorporate a little

bit more brushed stainless steel look into the inside of your truck this'll be perfect

for you.

Now looking into the installation here, just like I had said in the beginning of the video

you're going to be looking at an incredibly easy 1 out of 3 wrenches on the difficulty

meter and less than 15 minutes to get this onto your truck.

The installation alone is definitely going to be a huge selling point for me as most

if not all interior accessories are going to install with the use of 3M double sided

tape.

One thing that I would add is that before you install this it's a great idea to make

sure that the surface where you're applying this to, your rear view mirror, is going to

be free from any type of wax or grease residue as that would prevent this from sticking to

the mirror.

All right, just to wrap things up, here are some final thoughts.

If you're the F-150 or Raptor owner and you're looking to incorporate some very sleek styling

into your truck, I would definitely suggest checking out this product for you.

That's my quick review and breakdown for the Raptor style rear view mirror trim kit fitting

your 2010 through 2014 F-150 available right here at americanmuscle.com.

Jeep Wrangler External 2-3/4" Speaker w/ Embossed Jeep Logo (1987-2017 YJ, TJ, & JK) Review - Duration: 3:20.

I'm Ryan from extremeterrain.com, and this is my review of the External Speaker with

Jeep logo, fitting all 1987 and up Wranglers.

Today we're gonna talk through the installation of the speaker, as well as the construction

and a few of the other features.

This speaker is going to be for those of you who are running a CB Radio in your Jeep that

may be remote mounted, or you just want some additional volume out of your speakers.

Now, this speaker does have a three and a half millimeter inputs, so really anything

with a headphone jack can be played through the speaker.

However, really the main purpose of this is for CB Radio.

This is going to be a little bit more expensive than some because it does have the Jeep logo

on it, but overall it's a pretty nice piece.

As far as construction goes, this is a two and three quarter inch speaker that has a

six-foot-long auxiliary cord, with a three and a half millimeter end on it.

The speaker itself as you can see, does have the Jeep logo stamped right into the mesh

grill or in front of the speaker, so this is really designed to be mounted on the dash

or somewhere that's going to be visible.

If you're gonna hide this speaker, you could certainly get one that's a little bit less

expensive that doesn't have the Jeep logo on it.

As far as mounting goes, this does have a U-shape bracket that comes with it and a pair

of thumbscrews on the sides that you can very easily adjust the tilt of the speaker.

Now, one thing that is important to remember about this speaker is that it is not powered.

So, if you're going to be mounting your CB Radio remotely, and you wanna be able to move

the speaker up where it's going to be much easier to hear, this is going to work for

you.

However, if you're looking to get a lot more volume or have an amplified speaker, this

is not going to be that solution.

For installation, I would give this a very simple one out of three wrenches.

This comes with all the hardware that you need to mount it anywhere you're willing to

drill a hole.

So, you could certainly mount this up on your dash, on your center console or really anywhere

that you wanna pop a hole.

As far as getting it wired, all you need to do is plug the three and a half millimeter

jack into your CB Radio and you're good to go.

As I mentioned before, you could really plug anything into this speaker.

However, it's really designed for a CB Radio.

The whole installation won't take you more than an hour, and you won't need any specialty

tools.

However, you will be needing a drill to drill that hole wherever you decide to mount the

speaker.

Like I said before, this speaker is going to be more expensive than other non-amplified

speakers that don't have the Jeep logo on them.

So, if this fits with your build, if you are going to be putting this right up on your

dashboard where it's visible, and you like the fact that it has the logo, it's probably

worth a few extra dollars.

However, if you are going to be hiding this or you're not as interested in the Jeep logo,

you can save a few dollars by getting one that doesn't have that on the grill.

Again, any non-powered speaker like this is certainly going to be less expensive than

a powered amplified speaker.

So, if that's what you're looking for, you are going to have to spend a few more dollars.

So, if you plan on mounting your CB Radio in the center console, in the glove box or

anywhere else that the internal speaker won't be easy to hear, this is going to be a really

nice external speaker solution that has the Jeep logo on it, so it's gonna look good as

well.

So, that's my review of the External Speaker with Jeep logo, fitting all 1987 and up Wranglers,

that you can find right here at extremeterrain.com.

talk about an application to scan tenths or lottery tickets, of which we buy

which usually they are issued by State Lotteries.

Scanlotería is a mobile application that It allows you to manage your bets on major

lotteries in Spain, quickly, easily and exciting.

It is a new experience for the user, you simply scan the ticket before

the draw, waiting for the luck arrives and check the result from the

draw occurs.

All this in a brilliant application, a very elegant interface that lets you manage

all your bets and now available for iPhone and soon for Android.

Ruben let a little interface if you think.

Perfect.

because in this case the application is simple, us

we go to the app, the app store and see ScanLotería

I already I have discharged, and interface is very easy, we have the

betting game on the one hand, and completed by another, in part

see lower bets, we see the scanner and see the games that supports

ie boats results and other accumulated

as simple as giving the button scanner and now I'll scanner 1 and the

ie lottery last 22 December so that you may prove also

It gives you the prize automatically if you not awarded in this tenth

If unfortunately you are not winning we take the national lottery option

tenth and automatically We seek the barcode us

the number will effectively scans We may add a note if

we share the ticket, delete the ticket if we want

keep more, and in this case we give to save once kept us out to

Thursday December 22 there is a bet and the result of all

what has been the Christmas lottery bets do see that not us

We touched any awards, going back now the

we'll do I'll add a new ticket in this case for the

Child lottery, also we will give us scan will take the

number that is, as before we give and it would keep us if you

DEIS account has happened to us the Thursday December 22 is

and have completed at stake automatically

we have at stake that we have scanned now the day of the draw if

We see plays itself there is no prize or not no prize

we are doing this as you can see do to EuroMillions, the new Euromillions

It can be done for the primitive, you can Bonoloto do for the fat and the tenth

or national lottery ticket, so It is a simple interface and I think it is

quite useful for who uses the lotteries

We're going to give as app of the week because It is very interesting, but of course, it is only

available for Spain, next we find that can be used worldwide, you can

leave suggestions in the comments ....

Jeep Wrangler Rugged Ridge Exo Top (2007-2017 JK 4 Door) Review & Install - Duration: 6:26.

I'm Ryan from extremeterrain.com, and this is my review and installation of the Rugged

Ridge Exo Top, fitting all 2007 and up JKs.

There is of course a version of this top available for those of you with the two-door and the

four-door JK, so make sure you get the right one for your Jeep.

Today we're gonna talk through the installation of this top which is a two out of three wrench

installation.

There is no major modification or drilling necessary to get this installed on your Jeep.

But because this is a roof rack and a soft-top in one, there are a lot of pieces and the

installation is a little bit more involved than some of the other tops that are available.

We're also gonna talk through the construction and a few of the features of the top.

This top is for those of you who are looking for a very unique soft-top that has a lot

of unique features but also has a built-in roof rack that is also very functional.

This top is very different because it actually is a soft-top suspended from a roof rack,

as opposed to a standard frame top that is a top stretched over the frame.

That allows you to utilize the roof rack without having to change anything with your top, you

can throw items right up onto the roof rack at any time without needing to make any modifications

to the top.

However, if you have the roof rack already loaded, you can still put the top back.

Again, very unique, a lot of different configurations.

Now, because you are getting a soft-top and a roof rack in one and you do have so much

functionality here, this is going to be a little bit more expensive than some of the

other soft tops on the market.

However, I don't think you're going to find a high quality roof rack and a quality soft-top

with all of these features that you can buy for the cost of this top.

As far as construction goes, as I mentioned this is a roof rack and a soft-top.

The roof rack itself is made of steel, covered in a textured black powder coat finish.

And like I said before, you don't have to do any major modifications or drilling to

the Jeep to get it installed, although it does attach to the sport cage in a couple

of different locations.

And you will have to do a little bit of cutting on your sport cage covers.

It's not really a big deal, you're just making a couple of slits so that you can get all

of your brackets installed.

And if you were ever to remove this top and go back to either a standard hardtop or soft-top,

chances are you're not going to notice those small slits anyway.

Once you have the roof rack installed, of course the second portion of this is the soft-top.

This does come with tinted windows and it's a standard OEM soft-top material.

So it's gonna hold up really well, it's going to hold the weather out, keep the warmth in

and of course, be good and watertight as long as you install it properly.

Like I said before, what makes this top unique is that it's just soft-top suspended from

a roof rack.

So as you can see behind me, you have your soft-top hanging on the inside of the roof

rack with buckles and velcro, giving you a very safari like look.

There are also a ton of different configurations with this top.

Like your standard top that has a sun rider feature, you can just flip the front of the

top back.

But instead of it holding back, it actually slides back.

You can also slide it back further to give an open air driving experience for both the

front and the rear seat passengers.

There are also configurations where you can remove the rear three windows, giving you

a very safari look and feel where you can still have a cover over the passengers keeping

the sun off of your head, but not have the windows then giving you again that open air

driving experience.

Finally, you can fold the top so that it lives completely over the sound bar which gives

you that completely top down feel.

Of course you still have the roof rack in place or you can fold your top into the trunk

area like a standard soft-top, giving you a ton of different configurations.

This is a very versatile top.

And no matter which configuration you are in, you still have that roof rack that's able

to hold 300 pounds.

So whether you're just rolling around on the street and need some additional cargo space

or if you're carrying all your gear to the campsite for the weekend, you're gonna have

more than enough room.

As far as the installation goes, I am gonna give this a two out of three wrenches.

It's not that this is a particularly difficult installation but there are a lot of steps

because you're installing both the roof rack and the soft-top at the same time.

The first step in the installation is to remove whatever top you currently have on your Jeep

completely.

After that, you can assemble the roof rack portion of your Exo Top and install that on

your Jeep.

The next step is to install the slider and bow assemblies and this is where you have

to make a couple of small slits in your sport cage covers.

Don't worry, when you remove this top and go back to any other top, it's not something

you're really gonna notice.

Most of you shouldn't be bothered by making these small cuts.

After that bow and slider assembly is in place, the next step is actually putting the soft-top

in place but because this is a soft-top that suspends from the roof rack instead of being

stretched over a frame like a factory top, you install it a little bit differently.

You're going to start from the back putting the soft-top underneath the roof rack but

over top of the seats.

Slide it forward toward the windshield frame and use the velcro and the straps to attach

it to the roof rack.

Finally, once that is completely installed, you can then install your three windows and

you're finished.

The whole installation process is probably going to take you right around three hours.

And while you don't need any specialty tools, you are working on a Jeep so you are going

to need some torque space to get this done.

When you consider the value that you get with this top for the purchase price, it is a little

bit difficult because there's not a lot to compare it to.

This is a very unique item.

However, if you look at the cost of a quality soft-top and a quality roof rack and add it

together, it's certainly going to be more than the cost of the Exo top.

So if you're going to use the functionality of the roof rack and all of the different

configurations available of the soft-top, I think that this is a really good buy.

Still, whether you have a hardtop on your Jeep and you're looking for a soft-top and

a roof rack or you currently have a soft-top but you like the look and the functionality

of this configuration, I think this is a very fairly priced roof rack and soft-top that

is unique and unlike anything else you can find.

So that's my review of the Rugged Ridge Exo Top, fitting all 2007 and up JKs that you

can find right here at extremeterrain.com.
