Youtube daily Mar 7 2017

Hello my friends and welcome to another Tuesday of tutorial!

I am Leonardo Pereznieto and today we will draw a cherry tree…

and today also we will give a away a beautiful fountain pen.

This is it… the famous Pilot Vanishing Point.

It has the novelty that with a click on the back, the tip comes out.

During this tutorial, I will tell you how to participate in the raffle.

It will be waiting for you [laughter].

To create the project I will be using these two similar pens to yours…

… with two different inks.

But first I will sketch the tree with pencil, because obviously,

the ink from the pens cannot be erased.

We outline the trunk. This tree is going to be seen in perspective from the bottom,

as if you were under the tree.

In the shadows of the tree.

And we sketch some branches.

Because of the perspective the tree is going to be much wider at the bottom

and will become thiner quickly.

When drawing the branches rather than curving lines, it looks

better to do them with short straight lines that change direction.

I want to achieve a very special effect and therefore, I get the whole paper wet

with plain water, and a brush.

I lift the paper path to rinse the water.

I don't want an excess, just damp.

Now, here comes the fun part:

Since the ink on the pens is water based, in theory, if I draw with this, it should

help us to achieve the effect we need for the cherry tree`s flowers.

I´m making little dots on the damp paper, around the branches.

This is the color ink, I´m using.

It is called Yama budu, sorry I don´t speak japanese.

I will write the list of all exact materials that I am using,

in the description under the video.

It is like a dark pink with a slight violet tint in it.

Very nice!

The flower shouldn't be even all over

they come in bunches.

If the paper becomes dry before you finish, you can now

go over it again with the brush because you would take off

all the ink.

But rather you can lightly use a spray bottle to keep it damp.

But even then, the ink that you already drew will react

and spread a little bit more.

Now using the other pen with brown ink, I delineate

the trunk of the tree.

I´m giving some shading with hatching and crosshatching.

Of course it should't be even, the bark is a bit rough.

I really love drawing with these fountain pens!

They just glide on the paper incredibly.

We draw the branches but we will have some sections that are covered

by the flowers… so we do not draw these.

In regards to the raffle of the pen, all you have to do to participate

and to have a chance to win it, is to leave a comment on my Facebook page

called "Galería de Leonardo Pereznieto" [laughter] I will leave you the link

under the video.

Saying that you want the Vanishing Point Fountain pen, or something like that.

Participation will end in the evening of this Sunday 12 of March and the winner

wil be announce on Facebook, on Monday.

Good luck!

I wish I have pens for everyone.

However, in the near future I will be giving, more gifts.

So stay tuned.

We can go over the areas again that we want darker.

We give them two or three passes.

Very good!

¡Excelente!

Please let me know what do you think of this drawing/painting technique.

We give it the last touches, and it´s ready!

If you enjoyed it, please give it a LIKE!

share it to your friends and subscribe to Fine Art-Tips

and to Patreon.

You know where to follow me, the links are below.

And I will see you, on Tuesday :)

WebAssembly: A game changer for the Web | Mozilla - Duration: 6:13.

(gentle music)

What's game changing about WebAssembly

is that it brings the performance of native applications

to the web in a way that's completly secure,

yet enables a full functionality

you expect from games, major applications,

the entire spectrum of software you can run on a computer.

The main problem that WebAssembly is aiming to solve

is that while we have JavaScript on the web,

which is a great language,

it wasn't really designed to be fast

to start up a very large application.

WebAssembly is just built as a binary format.

It's very compact to download,

and also very efficient to compile and execute.

WebAssembly should give us big speed ups in two main areas.

The first is in start up speed.

We've already seen application start 2x or more faster,

and there's a whole bunch of optimizations coming

that will drive that even further,

allowing huge applications to load up quickly,

even on mobile devices.

In addition, we should get significant benefits

and throughput too.

That is the code, once it's compiled, will run faster.

WebAssembly fills the gap of high performance execution

without needing to use any kind of plug-ins.

So now with WebAssembly, we can have, you know,

real 64-bit integer data types.

The other thing is more control over memory management

in general, something we couldn't do before.

You're gonna see a lot more smooth performance

throughout the life of the application, as you use it

without kind of the stutters and janks that can happen

due to different JIT or garbage collection heuristics.

WebAssembly now means that developers of all types

can bring their native C applications, and C++ applications

to the Web and achieve full performance

and the full set of capabilities that they have

running native on Windows or Mac just in a web browser,

which is revolutionary, because it means

now users can just go to a webpage

and start using the app.

No download, no installation, no security risk.

It's a really revolutionary approach.

You click on a URL, you get this huge scene,

you're straight into your immersive experience,

and you get close to your native performance,

but portable, across platforms using a browser.

That's, that's awesome.

Being able to write your code in one language,

and then port it to all the platforms,

that's, you know, definitely huge engineering advantages.

We have a format, which we can use as a compilation target

for C++ or other languages.

That's one of the exciting directions.

We just keep adding to the feature set of WebAssembly,

until we're able to efficiently capture

all the major languages.

The idea of having a universal compile target

that could eventually unlock the ability

for any language to target it.

Well, what's more open than that?

Being able to run natively on the Web

in Javascript, using WebGL, as we do now,

a lot of people wouldn't have believed a few years ago.

Frankly, when I started on this path

of trying to compile code to the Web,

I actually didn't even know if it could work.

I thought it was just completely nuts.

The coolest reaction was, we were at Epic porting

their Citadel demo,

and you know, we were there for one week,

and on the very last day in the morning

we got it compiled as asm.js.

We had it working in Javascript,

but using the new asm.js path,

we were able to get it working that morning,

and it was running super smoothly, smoother than,

anything we'd seen before on any browser.

And so, you know, there was a great moment

with hugging and high fiving.

Tim Sweeney had been notified that, "Oh my goodness,"

his engine was running in a web browser

and getting pretty good performance,

and so, he was standing there looking at it.

You know, overnight, we'd gone from kind of

what you might have expected, which was kind of stuttery,

you know, like, "Oh, it's making it."

to butter smooth.

I remember him saying something to the effect of like,

"Well, I thought this would be possible, but not so soon."

This is an amazing development, a great development

for the future of the Web

and Mozilla has been at the core of it.

Other types of applications, they often,

they have a moderately fixed workload.

In games, generally

if you're able to provide 20% more of performance,

games generally can translate that to 20% more content.

We started to work with those groups,

knowing that they would have

the most punishing requirements.

And so, what this does is give us a lot of confidence,

that when people start to use it in other use cases,

that aren't nearly as punishing as the Games industry,

they're gonna have a lot of success at it.

And for us with the Stingray engine,

not only is it a cutting edge game engine,

but at Autodesk we use Stingray

to create immersive experiences

for architects, for mechanical engineers.

That means that it will apply, right,

this technology is transferrable to all the markets

that we serve.

You know, this entire train of development,

that began with asm.js and now has led to WebAssembly

is to me, the ultimate culmination

of web development capabilities.

It's a new step in accessibility.

It's beyond anything achieved previously.

I guess you could say Mozilla has only the Web.

We're seeing more and more platforms

move towards walled gardens

and I see the Web being one of the remaining,

or maybe the only remaining space,

where there's no entity controlling

what can be published or not,

and I think that's very important to maintain.

We want the Web to be able to provide all the things

that people need, so I think that sort of forced us

to take a hard look, and say,

"Well, what needs to be done to allow this?"

WebAssembly is one of the first times we've seen

all four browsers sit down at the table

from the beginning of a standard.

The Web only works because a bunch of different companies,

who make browsers and operating systems,

cooperate together to define its future.

When some of these companies are cutthroat competitors,

it's hard for them to work together directly,

and Mozilla's played an amazing role

in facilitating cooperation there.

You know at Mozilla, really opening up the web platform

is what we're all about and keeping it that way.

And we're just, you know, inviting a whole new slew

of skill sets to the Web in a way

that just wasn't possible before.

So, for us, that's a real step forward for the Web.

(gentle music)

Jeep Wrangler RedRock 4x4 Premium Recovery Strap (1987-2017 JK, TJ & YJ) Review - Duration: 3:16.

I'm Ryan from extremeterrain.com, and this is my review of the RedRock 4x4 Premium Recovery

Strap, for use with all 1987 and up Wranglers.

Today, we're gonna talk through the construction and a few of the features of this strap.

This is for those of you that are going off-road and want to make it easy for you to recover

your buddy, or vice versa, when you get into one of those sticky situations.

Even if you have a self-recovery winch, having one of these recovery straps in your recovery

bag is always a good idea, just to give you some other options when you do get stuck.

Now, this is a recovery strap which is also known as a snatch strap.

This is going to have a little bit of give, a little bit of stretch to it, and it's actually

designed to start with a little bit of slack in the line, get up a little bit of speed,

and use that momentum and that stretch to get you out of a mud hole or off of a situation

where you're high-centered.

That is going to be different from a tow strap.

A tow strap doesn't have that stretch, and it's for exactly what it says, it's for towing.

It's not going to have that give to it.

A tree saver is going to be similar to a tow strap, where it doesn't have any stretch.

That's going to be a much smaller strap that's designed to go round a tree for winching.

So, that just explains a little bit about the difference between the different straps

that you see on this site.

This is going to be for those recoveries, again whether you're high-centered or whether

you're buried in the mud, this is gonna have a little bit of stretch to it, and it's a

nice, long, 30-foot strap.

That is plenty of strength for any recovery situation you might need it.

This strap is a heavy-duty nylon material.

It's 30 feet long by 2 inches wide and has a 20,000-pound pulling capacity.

You can see on the ends here, it does have a little bit of additional material just to

provide a little bit more protection on the actual loops of the strap.

And it's a nice bright orange color, so you're gonna be able to see it, whether you're looking

for it in your trunk area, in your recovery bag, or on the trail after a recovery.

Using a tow strap like this is going to be very easy, but you do always have to keep

safety in mind.

You always need to be attaching both ends of this strap to a D-ring that's one a shackle

mount.

Of course, the shackle mount and the D-ring also have to be rated for at least the 20,000-pound

capacity of this strap, or you can, of course, use a tow hook.

Even the factory tow hook on the Jeep, whether it be front or back can be used.

But with a loop like this, you do need to make sure that your strap stays attached,

and stays attached properly, especially as you're going from a little bit of slack in

the line to pulled taut.

This strap comes in right around $30, which is pretty similar to a lot of other straps

that you'll see on the market.

And for something that you're going to be beating up, using out on a trail, I think

that's a pretty fair price.

I wouldn't want to spend a ton more on this because it isn't gonna last forever.

Eventually, you are going to have to replace it.

I think this is priced fairly for the quality that you're getting, and it's definitely gonna

get the job done when you're out on the trail.

So, if you're looking for a fairly priced and quality recovery strap to help get you

and your buddies moving again after getting stuck on the trail, I think this is gonna

be a great option.

So, that's my review of the RedRock 4x4 Premium Recovery Strap, for use on all 1987 and up

Wranglers, that you can find right here at extremeterrain.com.

Affirmation: Creativity Guides | Dixie Vogel, A Fool's Journey - Duration: 2:15.

Okay.

For your affirmation, I want to pull from Sonia...I say "cho-quet" in my head, but that's

probably not how you say her name.

From her Ask Your Guides divination deck.

Invention: Creativity Guides.

Let's see what her little book has to say.

'Cause these aren't the kind of divination cards that at least I memorize.

Keywords are adaptation, adjustment, transformation and challenge.

Sometimes life gives you lemons.

But not to worry.

Your creativity guides are on hand, helping you transform your lemons into lemonade.

Mmmmm.

No matter who you are or what circumstances you've inherited, life is always a blend of

both the positive and the negative.

Your creativity guides urge you to be grateful for the plusses of your life and to be creative

with the negatives.

They'll help you use inventiveness to transform any adverse situation into one for the better.

Okay, so the idea isn't necessarily that you deny what's been difficult for you.

The idea is you use it to spur something better.

So, that's a, that's a nice affirmation.

You...invention.

Creativity.

Using creativity to reframe difficult circumstances so that you can see what you got out of them.

Because I don't know about you, but if I have something going on in my life that sucked?

Or sucks?!?

I'm going to do everything I, EVERYTHING I can, to make it count for something, you know?

And something good for me.

So that's your affirmation.

I hope it's helpful, interesting, whatever.

Take care, peace out, bye bye.

Ahhhhhhhh!

They'll help you use your inventive...

Sometimes life gives you lemons.

[click] But not to worry...What the heck?!

[laugh] My camera just took a picture of me for no apparent reason.

3 Things You Must Do When Doing Video - Duration: 6:38.

Hi! I'm Sharon Jurd and welcome to my Biz Blitz video.

Today I want to talk to you

about how to communicate to your audience.

Now you may have a database, you may have

some people on social media and you're

going, "How can I engage them? How can I

get them to be raving fans? How can

I get them to be referring people to me?"

And I believe and this is my belief

only if you want to argue with me please

put a comment down below. I believe that the

world of technology is taking us to the

world of video. And I believe video is the

technology world of one-on-one visits.

Now nothing will beat a face-to-face with

somebody to get them to be active and

you can inform them and you can build

rapport. I came through the real estate

industry and in the real industry it

was one-on-one during that time that I was

in the industry but the technology now

has grown and now in that technology

world you need to be doing video. It is

the next best thing to one-on-one

interaction. And so if your business is

not doing video right now, it needs to

be whether that be live on Facebook or a

video like this Biz Blitz video or some other way

of getting your video out to your

community. So videos are what I want to talk to you

about today. If you're not doing then, get on

the bandwagon I have been banging on about

videos for a number of years now maybe

3 or 4 years saying get on the

bandwagon. And the businesses that

adopted the video within their business

have catapulted in their

client base then therefore the income and

profit. If you haven't already, let's

get started on video. The things that I want

to tell you about how it's easy

to do a video is firstly, just work out what

you want to talk about. Like today, I'm

talking to you about how to communicate

to your audience and how I believe the best

way to build rapport

is video. Think about your subject

and you can just brainstorm that

down and some people go,

"What am I going to talk about? I've got nothing to talk

about.

" Well you have, you can write

down a whole list of things you can

talk about in your business. And I had

one of my clients who is in real estate, my

private client said to me the same thing,

if we're going to talk about she said, "Oh, what am I going to talk about?" She's in

real estate and I just happened to be

on a flight and I sat there and jotted

down fifty things she could talk about,

sent it across to herand said, "Here is your whole

years

video subjects." So take some

time and brainstorm it down. Get your subject.

Secondly, you just need to then, under that

subject line, think about three things

you want to tell them.

If you tell them more than three things,

it's too heavy, too long, they're not going to listen, they're going to get bored, switch

off. You need to have three things that you're

going to tell them. You start your video with the

subject that you are going to talk about then

you go into your three things.

The next thing you do in your video is make sure you

tell people what you want them to do.

You may have heard the words call to

action spread around. There are lots of

things that you can ask them to do

and if you don't ask people what to do,

they will not do it. So finish off by

saying, "I want you to go to my website", "I

want you to buy my product", "I want you

to opt in for a video series or an email

series", "I want you to phone me",

"I want you to email me", whatever you want

the outcome to be of the video you need

to be telling them to do something. I've seen a lot

of people go, "Look, these are all my videos.

I'm sending them out and no one's

engaging with me." And it is because that person

never told their audience what they

would like them to do. And if you

you tell your audience, normally they do, they do what you ask

them to do. And that is as easy

as it is to do a video. So let's recap. First, you

have to actually have your subject and

then secondly, you start out with

the three things that you are going to cover

off on. You tell them what you're going to

talk about, you cover the three things and then at

the end you just recap like I'm doing

now. And so that's as easy as it gets. It may

be scary at first. I hear people say,

"I'm fearful. I'm worried about

this", that's your own inner thoughts.

People don't care how you look, what your

set up is as long as you are giving great

content and as long as you are delivering that

great content. You'll see videos out there,

pretty poor quality

videos but the content is

amazing so people will still watch.

Don't worry about all that. We're not in

a movie, we're just wanting to change

people's lives when we do a video and

that's the place you have to come from.

Thank you for listening to my video

today. If you want to know more about video

and how to communicate to your audience

I do a whole module on communication in

my 12 Week Business Academy. And

if you want to find out more about that, the

website to go to is www.12wba.com.au

and I'll tell you all about the program

there. We cover off on all sorts

of marketing, communication, websites, how

you communicate to your audience through all

those mediums. It is a great

module particularly the communication because it's

so important that you're getting out to your

audience and making sure that you're building

that rapport with them. I'd love to

see you over my 12 Week Business Academy,

have a look at that website, let me

know what you think and I look forward

to being able to coach you through those 12

Week Business Academy modules.

If you feel that this video

may be of value to your family, friends

and colleagues please share it out. I love

to help as many people as I can and I really

appreciate your support. I'm Sharon Jurd.

Thank you for watching today and I'll

talk to you soon.

Will Forte Shares His Love For Crickets With Chelsea Peretti | TASTE OF FOX - Duration: 1:32.

What food pairs best with your show?

I guess the obvious answer would

be crickets and raisin balls.

Yeah.

Because that's what Carol Pilbasian makes all the time.

And have you ever had crickets?

We actually do this thing in the show last season where

people are eating crickets.

Did you eat the crickets when you had them?

I did.

And were they tasty?

Yeah.

They taste just kind of nutty, and they're

supposedly quite good for you.

Yeah.

So much of it is just psychological,

getting over the fact that you're eating what you've just

always considered a gross bug.

But then you go, well, what is anything that we eat?

Everything that we eat--

Is disgusting.

Has a bunch of guts in it.

And cricket is supposed to be the future of eating.

Like we're going to run out of resources,

and that's going to be it.

Yep.

At some point I do want to make raisin balls with the gelling

agent being mashed up crickets.

And I'd like to invite you to come and have that with me.

I've never actually tried raisin balls,

but I think we have to actually try them.

So I will try it, I guess, if I can be on your show.

- Yeah. - Great.

Yes.

Deal.

Done.

This is legally binding.

Thanks, FOX.

,How to Get Rid of Milia

Milia are tiny white bumps that can afflict your skin at any age.

They pose no threat to you and are mostly a cosmetic annoyance.

This wikiHow will give you tips on how to get rid of them.

1 Understand what milia are.

Milia are small white bumps that form on the face when dead skin cells get trapped beneath

the skin's surface, forming small, hard cysts as a result.

While milia can occur at any age, it is most commonly seen with infants.

Roughly half of all babies experience some form of milia.

Nearly all babies and most adults who suffer with milia get them because the skin has not

been properly exfoliated.

Adults can also experience secondary milia, however, in which burns or rashes cause the

skin to blister, thereby damaging the pore lining.

Milia will disappear without treatment.

In fact, when infants have milia, most doctors will recommend that you do not attempt any

special treatment.

Merely wash your baby's skin with warm water and pat it dry with a soft towel every day

2 Keep your face clean.

Regular cleansing is an important step in treating milia at any age.

A young child should wash their skin once a day, while a teenager or adult should wash

their skin twice a day.

Use warm water to relax the pores as you clean your face.

Pat your face dry gently using a clean, soft towel.

Teens and adults should always use a facial cleanser.

Facial cleansers are not usually recommended for babies and small children unless their

faces seem unusually oily.

Consider speaking to a doctor to see if you should use a facial cleanser, and if so, which

one.

If you can't contact a doctor, only use a mild moisturizing soap free of excess fragrances,

dyes, or chemicals.

3 Use a good exfoliating product.

Teens and adults should treat milia with an exfoliating treatment.

You could either go for an exfoliating moisturizer or a targeted exfoliating product.

An exfoliating moisturizer is a good idea if your milia is widespread and accompanied

by dry skin.

The moisturizer will reduce the build up of dead skin cells below your skin and the exfoliating

aspect will allow your skin to release the dead cells that have already accumulated.

Look for a moisturizer that contains vitamin A. It should also be free of any heavy oils.

A targeted exfoliating treatment is best if you have a few milia that you want to get

rid of, but otherwise have no skin problems.

Choose a targeted treatment containing salicylic acid.

The treatment should be applied directly to the milia once daily until they disappear,

but check the label to make sure.

4 Protect your skin from the sun.

Milia can worsen with sun damage.

This is especially true if you are suffering from secondary milia, which is caused by blistering.

A sunburn can result in the spread or prolonged existence of milia, so cutting down on sun

exposure will let you get rid of milia faster.

Stay out of direct sunlight as much as possible.

When spending time outside, wear a hat to shade your face.

Apply a gentle oil-free sunblock specially formulated for facial care.

A heavy, oily sunblock will only clog your pores more, making it harder to exfoliating

the trapped dead cells causing the milia.

A light sunblock can offer protection from the sun without clogging your pores, though.

Look for a light one with a minimum SPF of 15 or above.
