you card military drop tested its about £9

something like that i'll leave links

in the description where you can pick it up

from guys that's enough of the packaging

now let's have a quick look around the

case it's clear so i've put it on it's easy

to take on and off

nice cut out for your IR blaster at the

top there buttons on this side

beautifully done hear the clicking no issue at all

you've got the Ringke branding if i can bring

that into focus there you go Ringke branding

which is on the outside of the case you can

just feel it

the bottom of the case you've got a nice

cutout there for your speaker cutout there for your mic your 3.5

mm headphone jack in there it's got a

dust cover on this pretty tough actually

quite like it charging port is also

covered up look at that plenty big enough to

fit any cable in there on this side you

got a lanyard

focus there you go lanyard port or holes

whatever you want to call it and that's

it for this side and on the back you got

to cut out there for the noise

cancelling mic and a nice oval cut out

here for the flash, camera, laser auto

focus what do i think of this case? beautiful

look at that you got a Mate 9 Pro look

at the shine on that that is beautiful

that's the sort of case you need to get on

the back there's also these little feet try and

bring that in to focus you can see one there that's on each corner so

when you lay it flat on a table

that ain't going nowhere that's not rocking thats

stable and it does pick up a

little bit of fingerprints on the back

but really not bad at all guys in all honesty

the edges are curved here all the

way around so beautiful feel in hand

fits nicely in hand look at that thumb still

goes all the way across now lay on the table

design now these are edged screens but

if you look there it goes up pretty high

it actually goes beyond the actual edge

of the screen on the sides so you got

lay on the table design there but the top and

bottom look at the top and bottom plenty on the top and

bottom so if i do that that's not going no

where you're absolutely safe so far

I've got to say this is my favorite case

for the Mate 9 Pro anyway guys like i said i will leave

links in description below give me a

thumbs up if you liked the video

RANDALL (clears throat): Attention, everyone.

I guess I'm kind of breaking the rules by speaking today,

as William didn't ask me to say anything.

He was a master of words, and he knew I was no poet.

But I think the real reason why he didn't ask me to speak

was that he knew there was someone else who was

much more deserving of this mic than me.

The person who was in it with him,

like, really in it,

every single day.

I really don't know what to say actually because...

I'm pretty mad at him.

For leaving, I guess.

Hoo. (clears throat)

William was a lot of things.

He was... a father,

an artist,

a cheater at every card game.

God, he was my friend.

I can look all over this house and...

see the memories that we shared.

Every time I walk past the bathroom, I can hear him humming

when he brushed his teeth.

At first it used to grate on me.

Like, "You love your dental hygiene, we get it."

But...

pretty soon I came to expect it.

Y'all know that he could dance?

Right there,

right where Randall is standing,

is where he showed me

that even a frail old bag of bones, his words,

could still attempt a Charleston.

(soft chuckle)

William's moves weren't fast,

but... they were endearing as hell.

(voice breaking): He was endearing as hell.

And even though we only had him for a few months,

he's part of our fabric now.

We'll remember things as "before William"

and "after William."

But when it comes to multiplying larger squares together, when we get up into the teens like

17 times 17, or certainly higher, maybe 33 times 33, multiplying squares starts to get

much more difficult, and we probably don't have any way to find the answer quickly without

a calculator.

And that's why I wanted to show you a trick for multiplying larger square numbers together.

Now the squares have to be equal to one another, so like I said we have to have 33 times 33

or 17 times 17.

But in a problem like that, there is a quick way to find the product.

So let's take, for example, 27 times 27.

We want to do this multiplication and we don't have a calculator.

So what's the trick for figuring this out?

Well, we'll follow the same process every time, it's always going to work when we multiply

squares like this.

And what we want to do is we want to take the first number, 27, and we want to round

it to the nearest 10.

So 27 is closer to 30 than it is to 20, so we're going to round this up to 30.

The difference between 27 and 30 is 3, and we're going to be coming back to that in a

little bit, so we want to make note of what the difference is.

Since we changed 27 by 3 to get up to 30, we then want to change the other 27, but we

want to move it down by 3.

So 27 minus 3 would get us down to 24.

So however much you move the first number down, you want to move the second number that

same distance, but in the opposite direction.

So 27 went up by 3 to 30, which means 27 has to go down by 3 to 24.

And that difference is 3 as well.

The differences will always be the same, because that's the rule that we're using, we're keeping

these changes the same.

So up by 3 and down by 3.

Then 30 times 24 becomes our new multiplication problem.

Now you might be asking, how is 30 times 24 any easier of a multiplication problem than

27 times 27.

Well, it actually is a lot easier, because when we have a multiple of 10, 30 is a multiple

of 10, so 10, 20, 30, 40.

When you have that, you can ignore the 0 here.

So this problem, 30 times 24, really you can think of as 3 times 24, ignoring that 0.

And 3 times 24 is certainly much easier, that's 72.

So 3 times 24 is 72.

And then that 0 that we ignored, we add back on to the end.

So 30 times 24 is 720.

So this actually is a much easier multiplication problem than 27 times 27.

And in fact, this gets us very close to our final answer.

All we have to do now is account for these 3's that we took out before.

So we take the 3s and what we want to do is multiply them together.

3 times 3 is going to be 3^2, or 9.

So this value here is what we want to add to the 720 that we got.

So 720+9, gives us 729.

And 729 is actually the value of 27 times 27.

So let's then look at this trick with another example.

How about 16 times 16.

And you might already have this value memorized, but let's say that you don't and you want

to figure it out quickly.

Well, we look at the first 16 and we follow the same process that we did in the last problem.

Is 16 closer to 10 or 20?

It's closer to 20 so we want to round this up to 20, which is a difference of 4.

That means we want to change the other 16 by 4 as well in the other direction.

So 16 plus 4 to 20, in this case 16 minus 4 down to 12.

And that was a change of 4 as well.

Now 20 times 12 is our new multiplication problem, which is much easier because we can

ignore the 0 here, and this is really just 2 times 12.

2 times 12 is 24, and then we just pop our 0 back on the end.

So 20 times 12 is 240.

Now we're close to our final answer, except that we have to bring these 4's back into

play, so again we multiply them, 4 times 4 is 16.

And then we add 16 back to 240, and we get 256, and 256 is the product of 16 times 16.

And that's the trick you can use for multiplying larger squares together.

- Gideon, we need your help.

Well if I had a dollar for every time

I heard that, I'd be a--

Oh, that's right, I already am.

GIDEON: That's the banker?

Quite a title for a guy with such ill-fitting pants.

I'm telling you.

There's only one way out of a situation like this.

Is it a killer robot?

Tell me it's a killer robot.

I'll build one.

What about that giant explosion

in the middle of the city last week?

Is that safer?

That's a matter of perspective.

We've all wanted to shoot an ATM at some point.

GIDEON: Ladies and gentlemen, we have a loser.

You want to take on a shot in the dark drug

case for a vigilante?

Well, there might be more positive ways to put--

yeah, that sounds about right.

Well, maybe you should invent digital duct tape.

GIDEON: [mocking gibberish]-- actually,

that's a pretty good idea.

GIDEON: I spy with my HD eye--

So no more high-town in chi-town.

[coughs]

What are we even looking for, urban blight?

Yeah, I see it, it's an American treasury.

Can you just shut up?
