Hi, I'm Erica, I'm the trainer at Scout Digital Training

and want to give you an overview of our

Introduction to Google Analytics course.

This course has been designed specifically for the beginner.

So anybody who has no

understanding or previous use of Google Analytics

and wants to understand and use it for their reporting,

for people who may have used it, may have logged in,

gotten stuck down the rabbit hole of looking at reports,

or gotten overwhelmed by all of the options

in there and logged out, or anybody who has a

previous bit of knowledge or experience with it

and wants to get a refresher with it to have

more confidence that they getting the

information out of their Google Analytics that they need

so a real range there, but basically we are starting from scratch.

I'm going to be running you through the

Admin section but we're going to be

spending most of our time going through the

Reporting section of Google Analytics, making

sure you understand all of the four main areas.

We have Audience, Acquisition, Behaviours

and Conversions.

There's a lot of information in Google Analytics

and that's what makes it so awesome.

The problem is though, there's almost too

much information because not everything

is going to be relevant to your website and your visitors.

I've worked with hundreds, literally

hundreds, of websites over the years,

and over that time I've been able to see the different bits

of information that offer the most value

to my clients and to me

personally when working my own websites.

This information is not just about

understanding and finding it, which is

certainly half the battle, but it's about interpreting what it means

So these courses are designed to be hands on.

I'm in a dedicated computer

training facility where you can either

log on with one of the provided computers, or

bring in your own laptop to use

but you'll be logging in to your Analytics account

and as I'm going through the course on the screen, you'll be going through your reports

so the information is all going to be

relevant to you and your site.

This way I find it's easier to understand,

much more practical and

less theoretical, and you're going to be

able to find out things you can put

into action immediately for your site that you

can use to improve the marketing that you're

doing, or simply understand where you're

at to begin with. So it's all about

giving you confidence in your website and your Analytics.

training facility so you will be logging on to your

Google Analytics account either with one of

the provided computers or you can bring in

your own laptop if you prefer and you'll be working

along at the same time and I am on screen but

with your information and your own account

so it's going to be much more relevant

to you and you'll be able to see straight away

exactly how powerful Google Analytics is

and find information that you can use

your reporting and also to improve your

own marketing insights as well.

Someone please explain to me how does a

six-year-old boy gets gonorrhea in the

mouth? As you guys can tell I'm driving

right, I'm late, I'm rushing to these

people thing and I'm late.

The reason for my being I'm late because I was

doing a post to post tonight and got

some information got a call actually.

so you know what, this video right

now is going to be strictly for my

Jamaican people because if it's one thing

we know about some Jamaican people, it doesn't matter how we speaky spoky or

try to speak proper english whenever

we're mad or upset all

that goes out the window. So, now I need someone to explain

to me, how does six-year-old boy come up

with gonorrhea in his mouth?

you know what I can't understand

with my Jamaican people, some of

them

is, How certain things happen, for example

this, Childhood Sexual Abuse that you know I am going to take about

and most chooses not to do anything about it

Here we have a six-year-old, goes to the doctor because the

little boy feel wasn't feeling well and upon

swabbing the little boy's mouth

little boy has gonorrhea in his mouth.

in addition to the gonorrhea that he has in the mouth It's discovered that someone is molesting this little boy

discovered that someone is molesting the little boy. Now, I'm sick to my stomach.

There's something I wish to ask my fellow Jamaican people,

What is it going to take them for some of you to really wake up

and really acknowledge what's going on

and really do something about it?

For some of you, is it going to take to take a man or woman

raping a child in-front of your faces

for you to get involved?

In the case that some of you know and choose not to do something about it, something needs to happen to you lot.

Enough is enough. You can't tell me that in 2017

you have a six year old a freaking 6 year old

showing up to the doctor with gonorrhea in his mouth

and on top of that to have parent or family members

actually get upset when the doctor

called in the authorities really

you are sick in the head!

I understand to some made be afraid

and whatever the case is but here we go

again another little boy being sexually

abused by God knows who and the doctor

then does the right thing by

calling in the authorities and some people

chooses to get upset, then

get mad who gives a shit if you want to

get mad, because at what point in time are we going

to start standing up for the children?!

A lot of you don't know, so let me attempt

to offer some statistics really quickly. 1 in

every 3 - 4 girl is sexually

abused and 1in every 6 boy.

I in every six boy, so do the math. This simply means

on any given day you come in

contact with 10 people, nine times out of ten

3 or 4 of the 10 people you come in contact with

or even more than that

have been sexually abused. So I'm asking

teachers and not just teacher, pastors,

you go to church on Sundays or Saturdays,

mornings and you sit down whatever the case is

and you look over your congregation

Can you imagine how many people within

that congregation have been sexually

abused? Yet these are some of the

things that we refuse to talk about and

teachers, take into consideration the

total amount of children in your classes if

1 out of every 3 girls 1out of

every 6 boys is being sexually abused; and

let me pull that back because that

statistic is

pretty much worldwide. Now when it

comes to Jamaica that number goes

through the door, why do I say that?

Because fact is, in Jamaica, I don't know about anywhere else

but in JAMAICA the

total amount of rape and sexual abused

cases reported, pales in comparison to

to what happens elsewhere because the

majority insist that they don't know

and refuses to get involved, and yet have

the nervous to comment on

things going wrong in the country,

like the recent influx of men killing

the young girls and our women

whatever.

I am not at all saying all that is as a result

of CSA but a lot of it is!

because a lot of these men as well have been

sexually abused and no-one did anything

to help them and in our society

our little Jamaica

we have a nasty tendency of labelling people

calling our men fish, and batty-man (homosexuals)

therefore the men will NOT talk!

As a result they refuse to talk,

the men and little boys are afraid to speak

because they know they will be labeled

and just how we style and deal with them.

So instead wehave to have a high number of

men running around

professing to be something that they're not.

understand they're hurting inside

carrying much turmoil inside and then take out their

frustration on just about everyone they come

in contract with. Some of our

woman are being killed because they

date these men

not knowing these men are

harboring such hurt and pain

and they can't talk

about it at all and these things

MUST materialize one way or the other.

How you think it's going to come out?!

Some of these guys are not GAY! They

have no where to turn and no-one to

help them with whatever they are dealing

with! They internalize the struggle and

internalized the pain, therefore just about

anything, any little simple thing to make them

snap. Deep down inside they are hateful,

they're resentful because of the pain

and not knowing what to do with it all.

Another thing is, a few of us feels

as if Sexual Abused victims only think about suicide

we know the suicide rate

associated with

CSA is high

but what a lot of folks do not know, a lot

do not know and need to go research and get

up on it, is that it's not just suicide

you hear, a lot of victims are homicidal

a lot of victims sit and contemplate how

they can snap the neck of the next the

next person. Why, because just like

you have other people here that suppress

all sorts and types of pain

and things they can't deal with and

they self medicate and they drink and

become alcoholics, and become drug addicts

because they are seeking release a

temporary fix. Don't you feel as if

some of these men out here and

women too that kills people, it's the

same thing? They have so much hurt people like

people that cut themselves, doing things

just seeking a ways in which to

release the tension and the pain

built up on the inside, but yet we

sit all day every day thinking nothing

is wrong with someone sexually abusing

a child! Again I ask, someone please

tell me how a six-year-old boy

ends up with gonorrhea in the mouth and nobody

is going to help this child.

Then again, I can't say no-one,

thank God for the doctor that reported

but the thing is, after the report

to the police, what happened from

there?

What happens from this point?

Is this little boy going to get help, will they send him to therapy?

and Lord, knows how long and how far

it has gone on. Therapy probably doesn't help

either. So, then we're going to have

another little boy turning

into a man that will have all these issue

and no-one to help him,

who pays, who suffer the consequences?

This is how I know life is unfair, this is

exactly how I know life is unfair because,

if someone these guys, and some women

when they snap and do things

because life got too much for them

and they cannot handle it, If only they would

snap on you lot, the people that knows the children are being raped

amongst other things and decides

not to get involved, because you believe it's not your business, if only they would come after you...

you choosing not to help A CHILD! Then I could say all is fair.

If only they would take their frustrations out on you...

some of you granny's, uncles, mothers, fathers and some of you people in the

community that knows the child is being raped!!

I'm begging, please it's 2017, if you have suspicion

even if you're not 100% sure that somethings wrong with a child

especially us women

because we have that internalized

god-given ability that mechanism that

he blessed us with called intuition, if you feel

like something is not right, or doesn't add up,

if it looks or feels wrong or off, call the police.

call the police, let them investigate and

find out you were wrong.

I'm begging the police officers please.

please do these things discreetly just

in the off chance thats not the case.

But for God's sake

wake up and start thinking about these

things

I've seen recently everyone

speaking about the killings and what's

going on in Jamaica and I know

not everybody not all cases were a result of CSA

because some folks are just plain psycho

so not everyone acts out because

of what happened to them but on

serious note, how many men

are hurting and carrying things

even the very women they sleep with

they can't trust to

tell them certain things because they

are afraid the women would in turn judge them

so they hold on these hurts

suppressing and harboring them

not thinking one way or the other these things will have to come out!

How do you believe hurt shows up?

some of the youths

talking about the youths are just

vile, while we know property pushes

a lot of crime

but come on people think!

no-one, no-one was born from their

mother just with an instinct to get

up and just kill...

some of these men, some of these women

things are happening to that they can't

control they don't know how to deal with it and a

society that turns it's back on them

going back to this child, this six-year-old

child

the only thing I can advise, please

help this little boy

find someone some, therapies

and try to forget him some help!

I don't know what's wrong with some of

my Jamaican people with this

tendency, not wanting to get

involved.

I bet you're going to get

involved, I bet you, one way or the other.

Watch it! Stay doing what you're doing!

people genuinely had hear,

love and concern for their neighbors.

When I shared my story in 2013

started talk about and shared my story

so many people inbox me from my very

small, tiny community and told me that
