Learn How to Crochet an Easy Baby or Child T Sweater - Collab with Underground Crafter - Duration: 6:26.

Hi I'm Donna Wolfe from naztazia.com

Today i'm going to show you how to

crochet an easy and quick sweater for a

baby or child. This is also a good

pattern for charity donations and

crocheting for those in need. I'm

collaborating with my good friend Marie

from Underground Crafter who made this

lovely Crosshatch stitch Baby Blanket

pattern that is also good for charity

donations. Be sure to check out her video

on YouTube as well. As always the written

pattern is on my website

naztazia.com To begin, I'm using this

amazingly soft and beautiful 100%

organic cotton yarn that Kristin Omdahl

sent me called Be So Tender. As you may

know Kristin donates a portion of the

sales of her yarn to Kristin Cares, a

fund that helps victims of domestic

violence. I'm using a size I hook. And in

this case a three-month loose baby shirt

to help me figure out the size. You can

use another size if you wish. To begin,

leave a long tail end for sewing seams

later. Make a slip knot and chain 28.

Measure it along the bottom to gauge

size. Use more or less chains to get it

to fit, then just single crochet in the

second chain from the hook, and in each

stitch across.

When you get to the end, chain one, turn

your work, and single crochet in each

stitch across. If you need help with the

basics of crochet be sure to see my

beginner videos. Keep making rows until

you reach right under the arms. And be

sure to click on the subscribe button to

get notified of new videos from me each

week. You can see how I've crocheted a

rectangle that contains 22 rows. Now

we'll need to chain 16 for the one arm -

or any number of chains that fits your

sample. Leave a long tail and for sewing

the seams later. And then cut your yarn.

Now let's connect the yarn leaving a

long tail end for sewing later to this

side. Chain the same number as you did

before, which is 16 plus 1 more chain.

Single crochet in the second chain from

the hook and in each chain across. We

have just begun making the one sleeve

section. Continue down these chains. Once

completed, single crochet on top of the

previous rectangle. Now it is time to

single crochet along this other sleeve

section.

Once completed, chain one, turn your work

and continue making rows back and forth

and back and forth. As you can see I made

22 rows from my original rectangle and

then another 10 rows for the top arms

section. Measure against your sample to

get a good size. By the way if you're on

social media you can also find me on

Facebook, Instagram, Pinterest, and Twitter.

Be sure to make two of these - one for the

front and one for the back. Now we'll use

those long tail ends to sew along these

areas. Thread your yarn needle with the

nearest tail end and use whatever stitch

you wish to sew these two side seams

together. I just like to go back and

forth like this.

If you wish you can add some surface

crochet using something like a heart

shape which you can find on my website. I

like to pin it down and then using two

strands of yarn. Make a slip knot, pull the

slipknot through the sweater, then just

insert your hook and draw up a loop from

underneath to make a chain on the

surface of the sweater. Try your best to

make the chain around the shape of the

heart. Once completed take the remaining

tail end and pull it through. Cut and

weave in all ends. And here is the

finished sweater. You can use any size

shirt or sweater and this method to make

sweaters for babies or children. Be sure

Sheridan Square | Greenwich Village | New York - Duration: 2:10.

General Sheridan here,

was very popular during the Civil War

and he went on to fight in the Indian Wars

where he eliminated huge herds of buffalo

in order to try and disrupt the Native American way of life.

He's also famous for one remark he made,

or supposed to have made,

to the chief of the Comanches.

And when he met him, the chief said,

"I'm a good Indian,"

but Sheridan replied, "The only good Indians I've seen are dead."

While, later he claimed that he never said it,

but many witnesses said that he did.

Whatever the case,

it's pretty clear that Sheridan didn't like

the Native Americans very much.

Probably they didn't like him very much either.

The statue here is created by George Segal in 1979,

and it's the world's first public artwork

to celebrate the gay community.

Rather than create something loud and brash,

they wanted to create something that showed the affectionate,

loving, and caring side of that community,

and that's exactly what we see in the four figures here,

all bronze works, painted white.

Well, they were supposed to be installed here in the early '80s,

but back then this community was a little bit catholic

and they objected against the sculpture.

But it finally arrived in 1992,

and it's been standing proud here ever since.

But let me tell you about why I think it's important to tip and to tip generously!

My first reason is that you get what you give!

If your a regular for that business or that person than that means they are very

likely going to give you better service the next time around.

Even better they'll get motivated to give you an ever

more excellent service afterworths.

My second reason is that they'll give you fame.

That's right, be a good tipper and get rewarded for your favorable behavior

towards those who you think earned it.

My third reason is that if you tip they are likely going to tip you or help

you in situations you didn't even realized about yet!

So you ask me, why should I tip?

You asking me?

Why should I tell you?

Did you tip me?

Well, actually, you did!

You sticked around & you checked or are going to check out the random

person I recommended.

Yes indirectly I tipped that person by getting him or her viewers.

I also tipped you by staying here for a while and hear me out.

Your tip comes in the form of knowledge.

How can you tip me or anyone else even more?

If they have a site click on the add not to buy anything but for the income they

get from it.

You actually seen the add didn't you so why does the person who provides

it on their site only get payed when someone clicked on it?

Is that fair?

No, so click on it and than take a look around and go away.

You can also directly tip them, subscribe, share, upvote, recommend to others or whatever!

This is all tipping a person!

Perhaps you can help them with the site or give them tips on marketing or

get them connected with someone useful

to their business.

I'm always grateful for whatever kindness you show me.

I'm grateful for you being gracious and actually being happy about the

fact that you help someone.

This kindness returns to you in so many ways you can't even imagine!

Tipping doesn't always have to be about you giving someone some money and

be done with it!

I know that very well because I can't tip anyone.

I'm

not in the possibility to tip anyone a cash tip.

But what I am doing and what I'm willing to do is share the love.

Share whatever content I think is great, or talk about whatever content

creater is good to me or others.

Sometimes certain people need certain content to get somewhere in life.

I might not need that content myself but perhaps one of my nephews, nieces,

my wife or my children need that content to evolve in life and develop their

good behavior towards others.

Sometimes I think outside the box and upvote videos I think my best friends need!

I point out those videos to good friends.

The importance of tipping and making damn sure you give them what they deserve

is a necessity!

If I'd be a army commander I'd order you to do so more than

fighting off enemies in your life!

Because fighting off the pain isn't going to help

Supporting the blessings others give you will!

Respect for each other is important, we work for our money

no matter what our job is, some content may not be great but it always

deserves a chance...
