Hey Remodelaholics! Welcome back to our channel! Today we are gonna try a

Halloween decor project! So there is this restaurant that we totally love that's

local, its called Kneaders, here in Utah, and shout out to Kneaders! Anyway they have

food, but they also sell really cute decor! While I was there, they had

this awesome, hear no evil, see no evil, speak no evil - skeleton set!

It was so cute! They're $10 bucks a piece 30 bucks total. It's not killer, but for

Halloween decor, I'm not sure I need to spend that much money on it! So today,

along with The DIY Mommy we are doing a Halloween, dollar store, DIY and Decor project DIY

project! Here's what I did. I went and bought these little skeletons!

They were a dollar! We are going to create a gold see no evil, speak no evil, hear no evil

skeleton set for Halloween. That can sit

on your mantle, or can sit on a little table - whatever you have!

It should be fun, it's gonna be a little more involved than just buying

the set at the other store, but ultimately there will be three little

skeletons, so that's three dollars. Then I spent about $3.47 for spray paint.

Which will be plenty for another few projects. This was .50 cents and

you may have some black craft paint (optional) and then I got some glitter as well.

I got some glitter because the skeletons at Kneaders had a

little bit of gold leaf that was also applied onto the skeletons.

It looked really cute so I am gonna try to accomplish that with glitter!

So, let's get started! As far as tools go, I have a glue gun and a little box cutter.

To begin with they have this little loop at the top, and I'm gonna cut that off.

Okay, we need to cut off this little guy at the top! And I just dented his brain in -

don't dent his brain! There we go

These little skeletons will be sitting

with their legs dangling, if you'll notice they don't bend very well. In fact -

Whoops! I'm going to remove them and actually hot glue them back in place.

So the little thing here, will just kind of be like a kneecap. Then their

arms are the same way. This is as far as it bends, so I might have to

pull this one off. Then I can like cover the mouth of it, or the ears,

or the eyes. Additionally, I am going to just barely cut into one side of the

hand so that it will bend. I will probably fill that in with a little bit

of hot glue. Right now, I'm going to disassemble my skeletons -a little bit.

Which is a little more morbid than my channel usually is! So tell me, what are your

favorite products to buy at the dollar store? Because

it's worth buying certain things but not everything! Today I saw some really cool boxes

for organizing there. Okay so you take this little spot

right there- I'm gonna fill up the back side of it with hot glue, and then I'm

gonna stick this on it like that. Let it start to dry while holding it still.

Is there something you hate more than hot glue gun strings? I am not sure there is

something I hate more than that! Now we are going to... I was trying

to sit these guys up on the edge of the table, and they don't have a lot of

strength! So I'm going to load up some hot glue gun to their hip sockets, to solidify

that joint. And then right on their bottom to weigh them down a little bit.

Then I'm gonna stick them over the side of the table on this silicon mat to dry.

There's a lot of waiting involved in this project! So now we have to decide

which one is going to be see no evil, hear no evil or speak no evil. And the speak and

the see no evil, are gonna be a lot easier than the hear no evil, because we

have to turn the arm a lot more. So, I'm going to go ahead and start by putting some

glue on the hand of the skeleton to put over his mouth. Then, I've got a

glue, where it meets over here. You can always add more glue after it sets

and resecure it. I'm gonna put some glue on this shoulder socket to keep it in

place just around that!

But it's turning out quite cute! This is the speak no evil no skeleton guy.

I might secure his feet so that they hang properly and don't fall over!

There is the speak no evil guy!

Seriously, I can't tell you enough how nice it is to have a low-temperature glue gun

I just got mine at Walmart.

If you want to check one out! This is basically the same setup as the speak no evil, but

instead of putting it on his little mouth, we are going

cover his eyes! I will have to secure this joint,

where the shoulder is too loose! Okay now I'm going to just secure this hand to the eyes.

I might do it slightly higher than the eyes, like on the forehead.

Because, I don't want it to look like he's covering his mouth or something different.

So these hands are above his eyes,

but when you look at it straight on it looks like he's covering his eyes!

That works for that one, I'm going to set it aside, let it keep drying.

Now, we have the hard one and that is the "hear no evil". This one I feel like we need to

connect the joint of the elbow first- because it's a little trickier!

A skeleton doesn't actually have ears....

So he's covering his ears! Now we have all three skeletons all set up and

I need to spray-paint them. I need to go get a box, I'm gonna take it

outside stick them in a box and spray them down. While the paint is wet, just

sprinkle it with the glitter so it will kind dry into the paint.

Also, I spray painted one that I didn't do anything to, because truthfully if you

don't have time to make the hear no evil, speak no evil -little guy, you could just

spray-paint it gold, and it looks that much cooler! Alright, there it is on the mantel! We added

a couple of the little skeletons to the fall mantel. Look how cute they are gold!!

Are they not adorable?

So, we are all done making our "hear no evil", "see no evil", "speak no evil", skeletons! I really love

the gold! I think it just elevates the design of it a little bit more.

Breaking news, everyone:

The CCP may be spying on people.

We recently aired a 10-minute segment

focused exclusively on how the WeChat app

has helped the CCP monitor Chinese citizens

by collecting data on every aspect of their lives—

like where they travel,

who their friends are,

the content of their messages,

even what food they like—

and then sharing that WeChat data with the Chinese government.

Well it turns out,

there's an even better way to monitor people phones.

It was recently revealed that Trojan horse malware called xRAT

was going around WeChat

and another Chinese messaging app owned by the same Chinese company

during the 2014 Hong Kong Umbrella Movement.

It basically allows the perpetrator

full admin access to your phone.

In other words,

it's like if you handed your phone to a stranger

and told them all your passwords.

"All of your phone is exposed.

Photos stored, downloads, documents,

any Apps to other services installed,

chat logs, phone records,

contact lists, and of course,

your browser and its entire browsing history,

which may include credit card

and password and login information."

But before you jump to blame the CCP,

there's no evidence that this app was created or spread by the CCP.

It might just be a coincidence that xRAT

happened to target Chinese dissidents,

and was found on the mobile phones

of a lot of pro-democracy protesters in Hong Kong.

Just like it's a coincidence

that Bruce Wayne and Batman

are never seen in the same room at the same time.

Speaking of monitoring people,

WeChat users are freaking out about a new law

that will go into effect this October.

It makes, "creators of online groups responsible

for managing information within their forums

and the behavior of members."

Not just "responsible."

The creators of those chat groups

could be criminally liable

and face both administrative detention

and political consequences

if their group members discuss one of nine prohibited topics.

Topics include:

news from Hong Kong or Macau

that has not been officially reported by Chinese state-run media.

So for example,

if you create a WeChat group,

and someone in your chat group

that you don't even know

pastes a direct quote from a Hong Kong newspaper,

you could go to jail.

And if you've ever been on the Internet,

you know you don't want to be responsible

for the crazy stuff other people say online.

I mean, what if I were responsible

for all the stuff people say in the comments to our YouTube videos?"

Um...Shelley?

The CCP can't see our comments section, right?

'Cause YouTube is blocked in China?

Anyway, chat groups scare the Chinese regime

because they're a way for a lot of people

to share information, organize, and mobilize if they ever felt so inclined.

Oh, and did you know that if you say something bad online,

the Chinese government can lower your credit score?

There is a silver lining to this though.

It probably won't be happening

to the latest iPhone model sold in China.

Not because it's more secure in any way.

No.

It's because Chinese people may not buy it.

"Lots of supply chain experts expect that

this phone to be over a thousand dollars,

and that's double the average Chinese salary."

If true, this would be a big blow to Apple.

I mean, the whole reason

Apple has been bowing to Chinese censorship demands

is so they can keep selling iPhones in China!

But frankly,

I don't think the high price tag will stop sales.

People are going still going to buy iPhones.

Not everyone.

I mean, nearly a billion people in China

live on less than $10 a day.

Fortunately,

China also has a huge wealth gap,

so there's lots of rich people, too!

And how will their rich friends know they're rich

if they don't have the latest gold iPhone?

But with the thousand-dollar price tag,

even the wealthy may have to make sacrifices.

Like the son-of-a-billionaire

who bought eight iPhone 7s for his dog last year.

Well he's going to have to cut back for the iPhone 8.

But really,

what kind of dog needs more than four iPhones?

Speaking of phones,

I told you a couple months ago about how the Communist Party

is forcing people in the Xinjiang region

to install surveillance apps

on their mobile phones.

Well a lot of people have been resisting.

So what can the poor CCP do?

The answer is,

send them to reeducation camps!

They've sent about 2,000 people so far.

At first the reeducation camps were branded as

"Counter-Extremism Training Schools"

because they were for Muslims.

After all,

you've got to counter that extreme behavior,

like feeling uncomfortable being monitored at all times.

The CCP imprisoned people

and cut off their contact with their families.

It's only logical that when you round people up,

isolate them, and abuse them,

they become less extreme.

But the name "Counter-Extremism Training Schools"

didn't sound so good.

So the CCP re-branded these camps as

"Socialism Training Schools."

Hmm...still kind of suspicious.

But then they re-re-branded them

as "Professional Education Schools."

Who could be opposed to that?

It's like the Auschwitz School for Manual Labor and Chemical Engineering.

What?

Too soon?

Now it's hard to find a place

as terrible as the Auschwitz School.

But there are lots of places

I wouldn't want to be stuck in even for one night.

Like the 2017 Alibaba Annual Party.

When your boss is the richest man in China,

you put up with some eccentricities.

It's what you do.

Well at this year's event,

a mysterious masked figure appeared.

Kind of dressed like Michael Jackson.

And kind of dancing like Michael Jackson.

Who could it be?!

Jack Ma.

It was the Alibaba CEO.

Then, all the other slightly out of shape bosses

joined him on stage for...

an even lamer dance.

This wasn't really a first for Ma.

In the past he's appeared on stage as a princess!

And, well there's a lot to process here.

At least Alibaba events aren't boring.

Unlike that two-hour long iPhone announcement.

I mean, I don't even know who this guy is!

And speaking of billionaires

who do things in an unusual way,

Donald Trump.

Trump is likely to make his first presidential trip to China in November,

according to a US official.

Trump will be in Asia anyway,

to attend acronym-based summits

like ASEAN, APEC and EAS.

So it would be rude if he didn't drop by China

and check out Xi Jinping's cool digs.

Maybe he can also check out

that flattering Trump statue in Taiyuan.

Hopefully Trump won't stay too long, though,

because a new study claims the pollution in China is so bad,

it'll take three and a half years off your life.

Chinese premier Li Keqiang has promised a war on pollution.

So I guess casualties are to be expected.

Now, China is looking into a plan to ban gasoline and diesel cars.

It's unclear when the ban would go into effect,

but I agree,

it's a great idea.

Switching to electric vehicles

will make big difference in reducing pollution.

Now, cars can run on clean electricity...

from China's growing number of coal-fired power plants.

Speaking of pollution,

China is cleaning up the countryside.

And the latest project:

Cleaning up 300 tons of dead pigs

that had been buried in a hillside, rotting away for four years.

It turns out they were dumped there by a medical waste treatment company.

Tragically, the manager responsible

probably won't be indicted for this—

since apparently he's already in prison for a separate, unrelated crime.

Speaking of tragedy,

the price of Tungsten has doubled, thanks to China.

Tungsten is used as filament

in old fashioned lightbulbs,

also known as...

regular light bulbs.

Tungsten is a hard metal

that's also used to strengthen industrial tools.

Tungsten is hard on the environment, too.

That's the reason China gave

for putting a quota on the output of Tungsten.

Technically, China already had a quota,

but in June they announced that this time,

they're going to be enforcing that quota, for realsies.

This was a smart move by China,

because China mines 80% of the world's Tungsten,

and the restrictions have made the price of Tungsten

double in the last three months.

Of course, this move is all about protecting the environment.

Those mines are so polluting,

they just had to be shut down.

Cha-ching!

China has us by the precious metals.

1000$ Mid Range PC!!! OCTOBER PC of the Month - Duration: 4:52.

Hello guys CaptainFoz here and welcome to the new series on the channel where we compile a PC with a specific price and theme!!!

Today we have a pc that costs around 1000 dollars!!!

So lets start!!! For cpu i chose the Ryzen 5 1600 @3.2ghz due to it being unlocked and because it comes with a stock cooler so we saved some bucks there

So for a motherboard i chose the MSI X370 Gaming Pro Carbon it supports ddr4 ram and overall it is a very good motherboard for is price!!!

For ram i chose a SINGLE stick of kingston hyperx fury ddr4 ram @2400Mhz. Imo it is a very good choice due to its price but also due to it being only one stick you can add more in the future!!!

So now for storage we have both options both a ssd and a hdd drive

For an SSD we have a sandisk plus with 240 gigabyte capacity and a 530 mb/s speed

Now for a hard drive i chose a 1TB Western Digital Caviar Blue with a 7200 rpm speed

Now for a GPU i selected The Gigabyte Geforce Gtx 1060 6gb Windforce OC i didn't opt for a Strix model because the pricing is too high even for this card right now

Now all these parts are going to be powered by a Corsair CX 650W Power supply this one has a 80+ Bronze Certification so it won't blow up on you :-)

Lastly all of these components are going to be housed inside an NZXT S340 Elite White case. The fact that it is white is that it should fit very nicely with our black components but also with our white ram!!!

If you have a lower budget you can actually buy a Ryzen 3 1200 cpu instead of the Ryzen 5 1600... You will lose on cores and threads but you will save 100 to 150 bucks!!!

So guys it is time i give you my final thoughts about the build... without a doubt the ram was the most challenging part to find and to figure out the capacity and the pricing so instead of a 16GB kit i selected one stick of 8 so you can upgrade in the future!!!
