These Nitto Trail Grapplers are gonna be for those of you that have a 1987 and up Wrangler,

and are looking for a 31- to 37-inch tire, fitting a 15- to 20-inch wheel, that is going

to be aggressive enough for the trails, but also, a little bit more mild so it's going

to wear better and be a little bit quieter on the road.

Nitto does offer a Mud Grappler, which is going to be a little bit more of an aggressive

tire, so it's going to have lugs that are spaced even further apart, a little bit of

additional siping.

It's going to get a little bit more traction and a little bit more clean-out when you are

on the trails, hitting the mud hard, but they are going to wear a little bit quicker and

be much louder on the road than a tire like this.

So this gonna be a really nice balance of a great tire on the trail, but also, a little

bit better on the streets.

So if you do have a dual-purpose rig, I think this is going to be a nice option for you.

This also has some other features built right into it that make it a very good off-road

tire.

An indicator of a good off-road tire is that it's going to have big lugs that are going

to really grip into the ground, get you over obstacles, and get you through the sloppy

mud.

Now, as I said before, this is going to be a little bit more of a mild tire than Nitto's

Mud Terrain.

It's still going to have those big lugs, however, they're just going to be spaced a little bit

closer together to offer a little bit less road noise and a little bit better wear when

you're on the street.

These lugs are still going to be siped, and what that means is, they have a slice through

the center of them, and that's really going to enable the tire to flex and move as it's

going over obstacles.

So when you air this big tire down, especially off-road, it's going to conform over an obstacle,

give you the most contact with the ground, and give you the most possible traction.

Now, if we step away from the actual tread of the tire, move on to the sidewall here,

this is going to have a good bit of sidewall lug built right into it, as well, and that's

gonna do a couple of different things.

You're going to get a lot of traction from that lug on the sidewall, so when you're crawling

on the rocks, you're turning the wheels back and forth, you are going to be able to grip

in this whole shoulder area and even on the sidewall.

But, more than that, this is going to give you a lot of protection against any sort of

puncture.

The area that tires fail the most is going to be in the sidewall, especially in the shoulder,

so what Nitto, as well as a lot of the other companies have done is build a tire that has

these sidewall lugs for the looks, for the performance and the traction, but also, for

the protection.

That's going to help keep this tire intact and keep you rolling down the road without

having to worry about any sort of issue when you do take this thing wheeling.

As far as installation of this tire goes, you can install a tire like this on a wheel

at home if you choose to.

It's going to, most likely, be a difficult process for you.

I'm sure you guys have all seen the videos where people set a bead with some brake clean

and a lighter.

I don't recommend doing that.

What most of us are gonna do, and the smart thing to do, is to have a shop install this

tire on whatever wheel you decide to run.

They're going to be able to do it very easily, using a tire mounting machine, and of course,

they're going to be able to balance that tire out for you.

So once you have the wheel and tire package, it's really just a matter of unbolting your

existing wheel and tire, bolting these onto your Jeep, and the install is going to be

very simple.

As far as the price goes, these tires are going to be like all of the other ones, dependent

on the wheel size, and also, the tire size that you choose.

Actually, the bigger wheel you go with, the more expensive the tire is going to be, and

of course, the bigger tire you go with, the more expensive it's going to be, so these

are going to range kind of all over the place.

Now, you can expect any big mud terrain 33, 35 by 12.50 to be right around that $250 range

and up, and that's exactly where these are going to fall.

So if you're looking for a tire that's going to perform well both on-road and off-road,

Jeep Wrangler Rugged Ridge 3" Cube LED Light (1987-2017 YJ, TJ, JK) Review & Install - Duration: 5:50.

This Rugged Ridge 3-inch cube LED light with high and low beam is for those of you that

have a 1987 and up Wrangler and are looking to add a unique auxiliary light.

This light is going to have a forward-facing light, it's going to throw light forward as

with a lot of other LED cubes that are on the market.

But what makes this unique is that it also has a separate beam that is going to be an

amber, almost marker-style light, and because of the plastic pieces that separate the four

forward-facing LED white lights, this gives you almost like a crosshair look.

Those plastic pieces almost act as a fiber optic inside the light, giving, again, a very

unique, and in my opinion, a very good look.

These lights, an auxiliary light in general, a forward-facing spot-style auxiliary light

is going to be useful on those dark backroads when there is no oncoming traffic, of course

when you're hitting the trail, especially when there isn't anybody in front of you.

But if you want to be able to use your forward-facing lights in other scenarios on the road when

there is traffic around, that amber marker light is going to be a great way to still

get some functionality out of these lights when you otherwise wouldn't be able to use

them.

Now because this is going to be a three-wire light because it is a dual-function light,

the wiring becomes slightly more complicated.

So if you're not comfortable with automotive wiring, do keep that in mind.

However, overall I think you are getting a unique light, you're getting a high-quality

light from Rugged Ridge, and I do think that this is going to be an appropriately priced

light for the functionality that you get.

This light is sold individually, however, Rugged Ridge does offer a lot of packages

that include multiple lights and brackets as well, if you're looking for more of a one-stop

shop.

However, if you want to get a little bit more creative with where you mount these lights,

you're looking to replace something, you already have a bracket, then you can buy these individually

and that's what we have here.

So, this does come with a traditional bracket that's going to give you a traditional single-post

mount so you can put these on the A-pillar, you can put them in a bumper hoop.

You can really put these anywhere you decide you want to mount them up.

This does have a weather-proof connector on it here.

When you plug the pigtail that comes with the light into that, you're going to end up

with a two-wire pigtail and that's going to be your hot and your ground for your forward-facing

white light.

Over here you're going to have your amber light that you're going to have to wire up

separately.

So, like I said, the wiring does become a little bit more complicated because this is

going to be a three-wire light.

Now, as far as the light itself goes, it's going to be a polycarbonate lens.

This is actually also a poly body, so this is not an aluminum-bodied light, which isn't

necessarily a bad thing.

The plastic is going to do a really nice job of conducting the heat away from the LED,

it's going to be lighter weight, it's also going to be a little bit less expensive to

produce and therefore a little bit less expensive to purchase as well.

If you were to scratch the powder coating off of one of those aluminum lights, of course

you're not going to get rust but you will get some oxidation.

With the plastic, if it does get a scratch on it, of course you're not going to have

that issue to worry about.

Now, this is also going to be a waterproof light, IP67 rated.

The four forward-facing LEDs do produce, like I said before, a spot beam.

It does have a little bit of scatter to it.

Definitely not a flood beam, not a pencil spot, but more of a traditional spot beam.

It's not an overly focused beam pattern.

It's going to be a good general-use forward-facing light, and of course when you do have just

that center amber light on, you're going to get that crosshair pattern, you're going to

get more of a marker light that is going to give your jeep a really unique look.

I am going to give the install of this light a 1 out of 3 wrenches.

Chances are you're going to be mounting this on a light mount tab or a bolt-on light mount

bracket that you have or that you're purchasing separately, so you're not going to have to

drill any holes to get this light mounted up.

Now, the wiring is a little bit of a different story and that can become a little bit more

complicated, depending on how you decide to go about it.

There are some wiring harnesses that you can purchase that are a three-wire wiring harness

with a three-position switch that will make getting this wired up a little bit easier.

However, you can also, if you are more automotive-wiring savvy, you can wire these in a lot of different

ways.

You can wire the amber marker light right in with your parking lights.

You can have it as a separate switch.

You can do a lot of different things with it.

So, I'm going to give the installation a timeline of right around an hour to get this installed.

But again, it could be more, it could be less, depending on how savvy you are with automotive

wiring and exactly how you want to get this thing wired up.

So, most of you are going to install the bracket that comes in the box with the light, again,

that give you that single-post mount.

You're going to bolt it on the Jeep.

That part's very easy, it won't take you any time at all.

After that it comes down to wiring this thing, getting it set up exactly how you like it.

This light is going to come in at right on $80 and as I said before, I do think that's

a pretty good deal for all of the functionality that you're getting and you're also getting

a lot of high quality.

Now, you can get a light like this that's going to be right around $80 without the marker

light feature from some of the other brands out there, and maybe the forward-facing light

has a bit of a more focused beam pattern or a few more lumens.

But what I like about this is that you're getting that amber marker light in that crosshair

pattern.

You're going to be able to use this light on a daily basis if you want to, where otherwise,

if you just had a spot forward-facing light, you're only going to be able to use those

in a select number of scenarios without blinding oncoming traffic.

So, again, because of the functionality and the quality that you're getting here, I do

think this is a good deal.

So if you're looking for a unique and very functional 3-inch square LED auxiliary light,

I definitely recommend taking a look at this new light from Rugged Ridge that you can find

Jeep Wrangler Rugged Ridge Non-Locking Gas Cap Door (2007-2017 JK) Review & Install - Duration: 2:57.

If you're looking for a small but noticeable upgrade to your rig, the gas cap door by Rugged

Ridge will definitely do the job.

The plastic on the Jeep is pretty good at fading from the sun, and this is a great option

if you want to cover that up and integrate to match other textured black accents on your

Jeep, like light guards or other armor.

This is a no-frills gas cap.

This looks like it came straight off of a Humvee, and it's low-key, but it still will

make an impact on your Jeep's look.

It comes in a couple of different trims, like polished and gloss black, as well as polished

aluminum and stainless steel.

I'd give this install a one-out-of-three wrenches on the difficulty meter, with some simple

drilling, and it'll take about 10 minutes of your time.

But, I'll get into all those details in just a little bit.

This gas door is made of a stamped steel that has a textured black finish, which will do

a really good job at resisting any corrosion.

This is a pretty low-profile door, so it has a flush surface and doesn't come out far from

the quarter panel.

It's really simple, but it also looks pretty mean once you take some notice to it, thanks

to the black rivets on the outside of the rim.

And, like I said, this has a very military style look and vibe to it, so it's something

that you can beat up over time and it'll still look good.

At around $50, this is a very affordable fuel door.

Compared to other higher-priced options that we offer, this just covers the basics, but

does a good job at doing so.

And you're not missing out on much when you're going with a lower-priced option.

These are the most affordable on the site at this time, and if the locking feature is

something that you want for the fuel door, they're, on average, only $10 more.

So, if you're looking to finish off your trim with a touch of textured black, this is definitely

well worth the price.

Like I mentioned before, this install is fairly easy, with a little bit of drilling required,

but all of it's really straightforward, so I would still give it a one-out-of-three wrenches,

in my book.

All you're going to need is about 20 to 30 minutes of your time and a Phillips head screwdriver

to get the job done.

First, center the fuel door cover over the existing fuel filler trim, and make sure the

door opens level.

Then, take one of the self-tapping screws and apply force while turning it in one of

the mounting holes.

They should start to screw into the plastic at this point, so continue installing the

screws in an X pattern, and tighten them all down at the end.

And all these instructions and hardware will be included in the box.

So, if you're looking to add some style to your JK, this fuel door by Rugged Ridge will

definitely do the job.

Now, this is what real American Patriots do!

Earlier this week Bossier Parish Sheriff Julian Whittington said his office will no longer

be purchasing Ford products after the automaker expressed support for National Football League

players' right to kneel in protest during the national anthem.

In a letter sent to Hixson Ford from the Ford Motor Company, Whittington states that "recent

events surrounding the NFL, its players and their audacity to thumb their collective noses

at the American flag, the American military, as well as their obvious disdain for the profession

of law enforcement in general, forces me to take a stand."

Amen Sheriff!

In late September of this year, The Ford Motor Company who is a major NFL sponsor took it

upon themselves to release a statement in response to the controversy over multiple

rich spoiled ball tossers kneeling in disrespect towards our nation and our police officers

while the national anthem was being sung prior to its games.

The statement read, "We respect individuals' rights to express their views, even if they

are not ones we share.

That's part of what makes America great."

Yahoo News Reports:

After President Trump trashed the NFL for allowing players to protest during the national

anthem, NFL sponsors are slowly beginning to respond to the political firestorm.

Some sponsors are issuing cautious statements that do not appear to take one side or the

other, while others have unequivocally supported the players' right to protest.

The majority of sponsors have remained silent.

The NFL reaped $1.25 billion in sponsorship revenue last season.

Its official league sponsors this season are: Anheuser-Busch InBev; Barclaycard; Bose; Bridgestone;

Campbell's; Castrol; Dannon; DMI; EA Sports; Extreme Networks; FedEx; Ford; Frito-Lay (PepsiCo-owned);

Gatorade (PepsiCo-owned); Hyundai; Intel; Marriott; Mars Candy; McDonald's; Microsoft;

Nationwide; New Era; News America; Nike; Papa John's; PepsiCo; Procter & Gamble; Quaker

(PepsiCo-owned); Sirius XM; Ticketmaster; Under Armour; USAA; Verizon; Visa; and Zebra.

Here's a running list of all the sponsors to issue statements on the anthem protests

so far.

Yahoo Finance has reached out to every sponsor and will keep updating it as they respond.

Under Armour

Under Armour was the first official sponsor to issue any kind of statement in response

to Trump's comments the night of Sept. 22.

The next day, Under Armour sent out a tweet that carefully avoided taking a side.

The company said it "stands for the flag and by our Athletes for free speech, expression

and a unified America."

It appears to voice support both for the anthem and for the players protesting during the

anthem.

Ford

Ford, also an NFL sponsor, said on Monday, "We respect individuals' rights to express

their views, even if they are not ones we share."

Like Under Armour's statement, it avoids fully siding with the president or the player

protests.

But the latter part of the statement ("even if they are not ones we share") arguably

implies Ford does not share the view of the player protests.

Nike

On Monday morning, Nike became the third NFL sponsor to issue a statement, and arguably

the first to take a clear position: it sided with the players.

In a statement sent to the media, Nike said: "Nike supports athletes and their right

to freedom of expression on issues that are of great importance to our society."

Hyundai

Hyundai issued a statement on Monday afternoon that, like Nike, clearly sides with the players'

right to protest.

The statement says, "We stand for and respect individuals' freedoms to express their first

amendment rights in any peaceful manner in which they choose.

We also stand for inclusion, freedom and all that represents those values."

Anheuser-Busch InBev

On Monday night, a spokesperson for Anheuser-Busch InBev sent Yahoo Finance this statement, which

appears to fall into the play-it-safe, neutral category along with Under Armour and Ford:

"At Anheuser-Busch we have a long heritage of supporting the institutions and values

that have made America so strong.

That includes our armed forces and the national anthem as well as diversity, equality and

freedom of speech.

We proudly employ over 1,100 military veterans and we work every day to create an inclusive

environment for all of our employees.

Because only together can we achieve our dream of bringing people together for a better world."

Bose

Bose sent out this statement on Monday night:

"Bose was founded in the United States, and our world headquarters is in Massachusetts,

where it's been for over 50 years.

It's now surrounded by several other Bose facilities – and at all of them, at all

times, we proudly fly the American flag.

It's a symbol of our great country which protects the freedom for every person to express

their views.

We respect that freedom, whether we agree with those views or not."

In 2016 and 2017 the Bossier Parish local sheriff's department purchased a total of

29 vehicles from Hixson Autoplex which amounted to $747,132.

Not to mention all the future parts which will need to be purchased in the coming years.

Those vehicles included 21 Ford Police Interceptors, four Ford Tauruses, a Ford F-150, two Ford

F-250s and a Ford Explorer.

Now here is the best part, Sheriff Whittington also that he would be sending copies of his

letter to all of Louisiana's 63 other sheriffs and their respective departments.

Although local media has reached out to both Hixson Ford and Ford's corporate office

for comment, as of yesterday neither had replied,
