The Packers were dealt what may be a season-crushing blow on Sunday when Aaron Rodgers suffered

a broken collarbone during the first quarter in Minnesota.

Rodgers is questionable to return to game action after a tackle by Minnesota Vikings

linebacker sent him to the locker room.

The play in question happened during the first quarter with Rodgers rolling out of the pocket

to his right with Barr pressuring him.

As Rodgers released the ball, Barr landed a hit that caused Rodgers to land awkwardly

on his throwing shoulder.

Rodgers could be seen voicing his displeasure at the hit, and he was carted off the field

immediately back to the Packers' locker room.

Per ESPN's Tristan H. Cockcroft, Sunday marked the first time Rodgers has missed a

snap during the first three quarters of a game since the 2014 season.

The immediate results didn't look particularly impressive with another QB under center.

The Vikings cruised to a 23-10 victory.

Mogadishu bombings kill at least 230 - Duration: 0:40.

More than 230 people are now said to have been killed by twin bomb attacks in Somalia's

capital Mogadishu, with hundreds more injured.

Sunday's bombings mark the deadliest since an Islamist insurgency began in the African

nation a decade ago.

The first attack came after a truck packed with explosives blew up in front of the popular

Safari Hotel in the heart of the city.

A second vehicle bomb went off in the nearby Madina district just minutes after.

There have been no claims of responsibility, but Mogadishu has been a target for al-Shabab

militants as they fight government efforts to crack down on the group.

Learning in Nature..Forest Kindergarten - Duration: 5:23.

This place has no swings or slides... but children still have lots of fun every day.

The children are in a forest, playing, learning and exploring.

We meet the children of this forest kindergarten.

At 9 o'clock in the morning, we met with 30 kindergarteners at a part in Incheon.

It looks like they're going on a picnic, but they're actually on the way to kindergarten.

(Korean, ) "Whether it rains or snows, the children spend

about 4 to 5 hours in the forest every day, learning in nature."

( 4~5 .)

It is very popular, with a long waiting list for admission.

What makes this school special?

(Korean, ) "I loved the fact that this kindergarten has

no set curriculum.

However, my child still speaks good English and Korean because she's not under pressure."

( . , , .)

(Korean, ) "My child is quite active, so I wanted her

to be in an environment where she can do a lot of physical activities and handle things

on her own."

( .. .)

(SOV) "Let's go to the forest I'll have fun

at kindergarten."

(" .")

There is no official curriculum, and the children spend most of the day learning and developing

socialization skills in the wilderness.

No matter the weather, children are encouraged to play in the forest.

Adult supervision is intended to assist rather than lead; it's the children who decide.

(SOV) "This flower is from weeds."

( .)

(SOV) "I have caught long-headed grasshoppers about

200 times.

Now it's boring."

( 200 . .)

Though it's sometimes boring, the children carefully observe the forest.

They have no set schedule apart from lunch and snack time; therefore, the teachers never

hurry them.

The children are surprisingly focused.

This process is also beneficial to their emotional stability.

(SOV) "I'd name it 'Tiger Wasp Spider' "

"Okay, now its name is Tiger Wasp Spider " - " "

- " "

(Korean, ) "I let the children play with what interests

them and then ask them to try certain things together.

Therefore, they lead, and I just follow them."

( ? .)

It took the children a full hour to walk and observe the distance that would usually take

adults about 10 minutes.

(SOV) "I want to go to the ginkgo tree forest.

There are so many insects."

(" )

(SOV) "I like the Spooky Forest.

Frogs are jumping everywhere."

( . .)

(SOV) "We're going to go to the Spooky Forest

" ( )

The children choose what and where they want to learn.

They also name the objects they see in the forest, which is part of the learning process.

(Korean, ) "This is Sesame Oil Road.

If we drop soil, all the natural objects will fall over there and become soil."

( . .)

At the end of Sesame Oil Road is a huge forest seemingly connected to the sky.

It will serve as today's classroom.

The children are going to become spiders.

The teacher gives safety instructions as the children hide their eyes like spiders and

hunt food, relying only on this rope.

After group activities, the children enjoy their free time in the forest.

Commercial toys are replaced by nature, but they still have so much fun.

(Korean, ) "People develop the sense of curiosity during

early childhood.

Nature is full of unexpected surprises and offers an enriched environment that fosters

children's curiosity and creativity.

In this regard, I believe forests and children are very similar, and that this education

is beneficial to them."

( . (or ) ( ) .)

The kindergarten-personnel say that children naturally develop their imagination and creativity

while discovering new objects and creatures in nature.

They also communicate with their friends along the way, which helps them boost linguistic

and communication skills.

(Korean, ) "Children exercise their imaginations and

creativity with natural objects seen in the forest.

Through this process, they naturally develop their creativity, imagination, and concentration.

Also, nature cures or reduces symptoms of a number of allergies over time, including

atopy."

( , . .)

(SOV) "Goodbye"

The children spent a stimulating day in nature.

Parents seem genuinely impressed by their children's development in this environment,

compared to an ordinary institution.

(Korea, ) "All the parents, including myself, are ecstatic

to see the children return home in dirty clothes because it shows how much fun the children

had in the forest."

( . ( ))

(Korean, ) "My child is becoming more interested in nature.

He physically feels the laws of nature and the changing of the seasons.

It is a true blessing."

( . ( ))

Life is all about discovering and exploring the unknown.

Forest kindergartens help children reach their maximum potential on their journeys of discovery,

as anticipation and interest in this unique education system is growing.

Hey, check out my new video!

Who are you?

Remember the video of my double decker bus?

Yes! That was awesome! Show me the new vid!

Well, I'll have to warn you, because this video is not about the bus.

It isn't? What is it about then?

It's about how I made a cart for tables.

What??

Yeah, that's why I thought I'd warn you. You Don't have to watch it....

You might find it boring.

Oh what the heck... Bring it on anyway...

I'm serious about doing more with tables in the future - and transport is never easy

so I Googled for a good cart..

cart for table

but...

..I couldn't find what I wanted

I wanted something: - light, easy to take in the van, - narrow, to fit through a door, - soft, so the table wouldn't get damaged

so I decided to design and make one

on this presswood I made a full size drawing

underside view

essentially two fixed wheels and two castors

wait! let me introduce you quick to Jane!

I enlarged the cartoon and gave her some color

she filled a large white empty wall once...

...until she meet competition from another woman in the house

then she had to move into the garage

resembles the sketch, ey?

first test with the tabletop of grandpa and grandma

second test with the big teak table on rough surface

it passed the test but the table slid a bit too much

so I decided to do a little adjustment

a bit of rubber (piece of old inner tube)

almost finished!

finishing touch: a strap

I'm very happy with it!

thanks for watching! - is this useful for someone you know? share this video! (BTW.. Jane sends you her greetings.. ;-)

NFL Hall of Fame Sends CLEAR Message To Anti-American Players With Massive Display That Just Appeare - Duration: 4:48.

NFL Hall of Fame Sends CLEAR Message To Anti-American Players With Massive Display That Just Appeared

On Their Front Lawn.

Over the past year, NFL players have launched a disgusting attack on our military heroes

by kneeling during the national anthem.

These NFL players claim that they are protesting racial inequality and police brutality in

the country, but all it comes across as is a slap in the face to our veterans.

While the debate rages on if the players should or should not kneel during the anthem, the

NFL Hall of Fame has sent a clear message of where they stand, and these anti-American

players should take notice.

There are times and places for people to protest issues that they believe need to be addressed

but kneeling during the national anthem as a professional football player is not one

of them.

These players have the opportunity to play the game they love in a free country and make

millions of dollars doing it, yet they dare to claim that they are oppressed by systematic

racism.

After weeks, of pushback from fans boycotting the game and companies pulling their advertisements

you would think that these players would get the message and begin to stand.

However, it appears they have not got the message and have continued to kneel in protest,

but the NFL Hall of Fame has sent a message they cannot ignore.

It has been discovered that the Pro Football Hall of Fame in Canton, Ohio has recently

planted 300 U.S. flags on the lawn as part of a campaign called "Huddle Up, America".

The HOF states that the flags are "a sign of unity to bring all Americans together"

and the campaign was created to help the football community "work through issues that are

important to our families, community, and country."

Here is more from the Pro Football Hall of Fame website and what the flags represent.

The Pro Football Hall of Fame today launched #HuddleUpAmerica, a campaign focused on lessons

and values learned from the game of football and how they apply to life.

In a symbolic gesture, the Hall of Fame's campus was decorated this morning with more

than 300 American flags, provided through the generous support of the local Jackson

Township Rotary, as a sign of unity to bring all Americans together.

The Hall of Fame and its important Mission to "Honor the Heroes of the Game, Preserve

its History, Promote its Values and Celebrate Excellence EVERYWHERE" serves as the foundation

to #HuddleUpAmerica.

The Hall of Fame's campaign that will carry through the NFL's Centennial Celebration

in 2020 and beyond, encourages an open dialog and honest discussion around the values learned

from the Game such as commitment, integrity, courage, respect, and excellence.

For more than a year, the Pro Football Hall of Fame has been working on programming for

#HuddleUpAmerica to impact people's lives.

The Hall of Fame, in collaboration with RISE (Ross Initiative in Sports for Equality),

a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to harnessing the unifying power of sports

to improve race relations and drive social progress, is planning community forums hosted

by Hall of Famers across the country.

The Pro Football Hall of Fame is also preparing The Game for Life Academy that accredits and

supports coaches, officials, and parents in the positive character development of players.

Additional programming is being developed by the Hall of Fame through its Center for

EXCELLENCE as it prepares for a great celebration of the history, popularity, future, and impact

of America's favorite sport when the NFL's centennial is celebrated in Canton, the league's

birthplace, on Sept. 17, 2020.

In an open letter to all football fans, Pro Football Hall of Fame President & CEO David

Baker shared the following:

The Mission of the Pro Football Hall of Fame is "To Honor the Heroes of the Game, Preserve

its History, Promote its Values & Celebrate Excellence EVERYWHERE."

It's time to stand together!

It's time to #HuddleUpAmerica.

Our great game teaches us the concept of "TEAM" (Together Everyone Achieves More).

In the sanctity of the huddle, we learn, that despite our differences, there isn't anything

WE can't work through together if we "huddle up" with respect for each other, listen

to each other and talk it through together.

The huddle is a magical and special place of trust.

This campaign that the Pro Football Hall of Fame is promoting is the REAL message that

needs to be heard all over the country.

The flag is a symbol of the American people and our unity as a nation.

The flag does not represent just one group but all of us, and when players kneel during

the anthem, it divides the country.

There are plenty of ways for these players to draw attention to their cause that does

not disrespect our veterans and get their point across.

Hopefully, these players will pay attention to this campaign and join in and honor all

of our countries heroes.
