Tenali Rama - तेनाली रामा - Navratri Special - Ep 62 - 3rd October, 2017 - Duration: 21:05.

'The story so far..'

'Everyone recites their lines on stage'

'in front of Guruprasad.'

'During the act, Prince Achyut attacks the King.'

'You will pay for letting your guard down.'

'You will not survive this.'

'Sharda sneaks behind Prince Achyut and hits him.'

'Then the King says that this is all a game.'

'Listening to this Rama rests easy'

'thinking there is no threat on the King's life.'

'Now watch ahead..'

Did you see my Sharda?

Everyone was struck by fear

and she saved the King's life.

You are so fortunate

that you have got a brave, wise, cultured

and one skilled at chores, serene and kind wife.

She did not weave any signs.

Take it. - What?

Take the laddu and leave.

Do not enrage me.

Am I right? I am so brave.

Sharda, no need to be so happy.

It is good that it was just a game.

Had it been true it would have been chaos!

There will not be any attack.

This is just your fear.

The itching that you suffered was also a part of the prank.

Prince Achyut said so.

'Rama.'

'If the assault and the potion was a part of the prank'

'then the cannon ball and the threat'

'would all be a part of it.'

But Lord Achyut never said anything about that.

'Can it be that two plots are being executed?'

No!

I need to speak to Prince Achyut.

It is better to be on guard

than to repent later.

What are you saying?

Why do you wish to meet Prince Achyut?

There is something odd.

I will be leaving.

He always so excited.

He leaves one scene and goes to another.

You are right.

Ramakrishna.

Your wife has attacked me.

What do you wish to do?

I ask for forgiveness on behalf of Sharda.

No need for that, Ramakrishna.

It is my fault.

I was scolding brother for dropping his guard

while I dropped mine.

You had made an elaborate plan

but it carried a great risk.

What?

I was not going to kill my brother.

My Lord. I am not speaking of the event at the stage

but the entire plot.

What do you mean?

I mean to say..

First you had that cannonball..

One that hit Acharya.

And then I ate the berries with the potion.

You were the one who sent the threat to Minister, right?

What threat?

What is it?

I never sent any such thing.

That cannonball was a failure.

I was enraged at Lord Bhisan for that.

What about the conversation about killing the king

near the banks of the river?

Killing the King? What is going on Rama?

Is the life of my brother under threat?

I can sense a threat. - Dear Lord!

We have to be on guard.

You are all to stay on guard.

Increase the number of guardians.

I will try to find out about the plot.

Where is Lord Bhisan?

Lord Bhisan is in his chamber.

He came to me earlier to see me.

Then he said he wanted to rest

and hence, he went to his room.

Allow me to leave.

We have to meet Lord Bhisan at once.

We will be leaving.

It seems that Lord Bhisan is asleep.

Not an issue, we have to speak to him.

Lord Bhisan! Lord Bhisan!

What? He is not here.

Rama, what are you doing?

Lord Bhisan will not sneak in here.

I am not looking for him but a clue.

Lord Bhisan..

Rama, why are you so worried?

Lord Bhisan must be around.

I will get the attendant get Lord Bhisan here.

Lord Bhisan..

Lord Bhisan!

No need to find Lord Bhisan.

Why is that?

Lord Bhisan has fled. - He fled?

Why is that?

Look at this doll.

It looks like the one in the room of Queen Chinna Devi.

Yes, look at it closely.

What do you see?

What does the spear mean?

It means that the King will be attacked.

Lord Bhisan left this here intentionally.

He is challenging us

that we should save the King if we can.

What's wrong?

You have not adorned yourself.

This mirror is yearning to see your real form.

My eyes are as dark as kohl.

My eyes are as dark as the kohl.

I will ward off evil eyes from you.

I tricked Achyutdev.

I have influenced Achyutdev

and have fooled him.

He has no idea

that his brother's life is in danger.

He thinks I am a Bengali.

Great. Very nice.

Wonderful.

Mirror, tell me who I am.

I am Ghungroo. The loyal servant of Bhami Kingdom.

I am the one who is beyond understanding.

That's why, the entire kingdom appreciates my intelligence.

And I have laid such a trap

that it will kill King Krishnadevaraya.

It shall be fun.

Because what I wish shall happen.

Krishnadevaraya, death awaits you.

A little wait.

Then you will die.

You will no longer be the ruler.

Because my emperor shall rule your kingdom.

Pandit Ramakrishna

we should not delay any longer.

We must alert His Majesty.

Either we must cancel the 'Ramlila'

or someone else should play the role of Rama.

Yes, Prime Minister.

His Majesty must be in the dressing room.

We must meet him immediately.

Let's go.

Greetings, Your Majesty! - Greetings, Your Majesty!

Greetings!

How are you?

Your Majesty!

Your moustache!

It's there

but hidden.

He has applied something which is similar to skin.

And my moustache has disappeared.

Don't worry, Minister.

I will get my moustache back once we conclude 'Ramlila'.

I beg your pardon.

We need privacy.

Pandit Ramakrishna

what's the matter? You look tense.

Yes, Your Majesty.

We.. We will have to postpone the 'Ramlila'.

What are you saying?

How is this possible?

The guests have started arriving.

Don't take part in the Ramlila. There shall be a problem.

What problem, Pandit Ramakrishna?

Is my moustache visible?

No, Your Majesty. Your moustache is not the problem.

Your life is in danger.

You are unnecessarily getting worried.

You need not be doubtful.

Trust me.

Lord Achyut attacks me only on my behest.

It's my game.

Your Majesty, the attack was the part of the game.

So was the itching potion.

But you were the target of the cannonball.

That was not a game.

A warning letter

which the minister has received is not a game.

And the conversation about killing you that I heard

at the riverbank wasn't a part of the game either.

What strategy?

'This is Krishnadevaraya last 'Ramlila'.

Your Majesty, Lord Bishan has also fled.

What does it prove?

Your Majesty.

We found this in his chamber.

This is the message that he has given us.

Your Majesty, your safety is our priority.

Yes, Your Majesty. We request you not to go on the stage.

You can be attacked from any direction.

And I am sure, Lord Bishan has made all the arrangements

to attack you.

This is impossible, Pandit Ramakrishna.

'Ramlila' shall certainly happen.

And I shall play

the role of Lord Ram.

But Your Majesty, I wish to say..

Minister!

Your Majesty.

What will my people think about me

if I don't appear on stage?

That their king is a coward

The one who cannot protect himself

how can he protect his people?

I have made a decision.

I shall go on stage.

'Rama, His Majesty is putting his life at stake.'

'What will happen?'

'Neither can you stop this 'Ramlila''

'nor can you stop His Majesty from going on the stage.'

Yes, Bandhu.

But I can stop the enemies.

Now, we will have to stop the attack on His Majesty.

I will wear my dazzling necklace.

Rukmini, is it okay to wear a necklace during the exile?

Even I shall wear one.

I shall also wear the bracelet.

Are you too thinking what I am thinking?

You must be thinking

that these clothes don't go well

with these expensive jewellery.

Greetings, Your Highness.

His Majesty wishes to meet you.

I am waiting for him.

Bring him inside with full respect.

Your moustache!

I have it. I have my moustache.

The make-up artist has covered my moustache.

You are looking good.

Lord, look at me.

I am looking beautiful, am I not?

I am ready to go into exile.

You are going into exile.

And not to attend a wedding ceremony.

Your Majesty

is everything all right?

You look tense.

'Your life is in danger'.

'We found this in his room.'

Well..

I am tense about my role.

The thing is

that I am not even a spec in front of Lord Ram

hence I was thinking

if I would be able to justify His role.

That is the only reason.

You..

You both get ready.

This is the tale of Lord Ram.

The tale of Sita's sacrifice

and Ravana's destruction!

Should I feed Lord Ram berries

with my right hand

or left hand?

No matter whichever hand you use

berries will still be berries.

They won't turn into mangoes!

The feelings should reflect

while offering berries to Lord Ram, okay?

Are you all ready for the 'Ramlila?

Yes! I am ready.

Pick up!

What should I pick up?

Well, pick up that mace

and get ready to play the role of Lord Hanuman.

'What happened, Rama?'

Bandhu, what should I say?

I am least interested to act in this play.

I'm restless

as I'm worried about the King.

God knows what will happen!

What will happen?

'Ramlila' will take place, what else?

Right.

Gundappa

with whom are you playing?

Actually.. He is angry as he could not take part in the play

and so, to cheer him up, I gave him toys to play with.

Rama, take this. Open this.

Really?

What is there to laugh at?

Rama, did you forget?

You know that it will hit you

yet you are opening it.

'No matter who tries to attack the King'

'I have got the solution for his safety.'

'I feel that to save my Lord'

'I have to take up the role of Lord Hanuman.'

Greetings to all the residents of Vijayanagar!

Have it! - What?

Have complete fun by watching this play.

Are you all excited

to watch this amazing 'Ramlila'?

Yes, we are!

This year's play is really special

as King himself will play the role of Lord Ram.

Queen Chinna Devi

and Queen Tirumalamba

are playing the role of Lady Sita!

The act will start shortly

however, do you all know the importance of 'Ramlila'?

Raise! - What?

Well.. Anyone who knows the importance of 'Ramlila'

just raise your hand.

Let me tell you all.

'Ramayana' means 'Lord Ram's life journey'

which means, the way Lord Ram spent his life.

Due to his supreme conduct

he was given the title of the idol man.

His life is an example

of the ideal way to spend one's life.

We too need to follow in his footsteps.

Dussehra is a festival

that celebrates the victory of good over evil.

Righteousness always defeats evil.

To show this

let me present to you

the life of Lord Ram

through 'Ramlila!'

'Krishnadevaraya'

'now your life'

'is nearing its end.'

Fantasy Reading Recommendations for Beginners from Kitty G | #BookBreak - Duration: 9:04.

Hi guys! My name is Caitlin and I am from the Channel Kitty G on YouTube and I

have been asked to come on Book Break today to talk to you all about fantasy

and where you should start if you would like to get into fantasy. The reason I

love fantasy - and it's predominantly what I read - is because it is an escapist

journey. It is a realm, a new world, a different adventure from my normal life.

It gives me something to have fun, to enjoy, to imagine, to get excited about

and there's nothing better than finding a new book or a new series that just

excites me and makes me believe in a world or believe in the characters or

get transported away. I adore that and I absolutely love that feeling of just

mysticism and magic and something not quite right but something very

intriguing. So, today, I have a couple of different options to tell you guys about

depending on what you might already like. So, the first book I have to recommend is

actually the first one in a series and it is this one called "Malice" by John

Gwynne. This is very classic inspired fantasy adventure; it follows a whole

cast of different characters and there is definitely a sense of good versus

evil. It has lots of different races, lots of different magics and lots of types of

people in this world. So, the mystery and the adventure is quite a big epic

adventure. It involves a lot of different people from all over the land, it's very

very fun even though it's a classic fantasy, it does have themes that are

more modern and it doesn't just rely on the old tropes that Lord of the Rings

has. It is an easy to get into series; I think it's a very simple story when you

begin it but it gets more complicated and more layered as you go through and

it's definitely a series that I would strongly recommend trying if you are

already a fan of things like Lord of the Rings or if you just want to go into a

classic fantasy. This would definitely fall under that terminology and John

Gwynne has since built up quite a reputation for himself by becoming a

very well established fantasy author; he's been highly acclaimed and he's also

bringing out some other books. This is a four part series but I believe he has

another book that's just come out as well in a new series and I'm sure that

he will bring more and more out as time goes on because he is great at

building big epic expansive worlds, so if that sounds like your sort of thing - if

you like Game of Thrones, if you like things like that - maybe give this one a

try. Moving away from the big huge epics, if you would like something that

involves romance or something that involves a little bit more lighthearted

fun, then I definitely recommend Gale Carragher who writes The Parasol

Protectorate series and a couple of other series in this world as well. This

book series is aimed at adults, it is a paranormal romance series and it focuses

largely on one main character called Alexia Terra Botti, who is quite mad. She

is very funny and very witty and it's set in a sort of Victorian era time. This

does not hold back any of the characters in this world, we have a mixture of

vampires and werewolves who live amongst the humans and there is some steamy time

in this - it's definitely a romp, it's definitely silly. It takes the mick

out of some of the tropes you might have seen in other werewolf and vampire

books, so it's not the same as those and it definitely has a lot going for it in

terms of humor. It is funny, it is entertaining and it is a series that I

think a lot of people would really enjoy particularly if you are looking for

romance in your fantasy books. Moving on to a slightly shorter book again but

this one is very different it's more in a Regency period of history and this is

called A Natural History of Dragons: A Memoir by Lady Trent and this is written

by Marie Brennan. It is the first one also in a five-part series and our main

character Lady Trent is a natural historian, who loves to go around

studying dragons. She and her husband at the time are both very adventurous

they like to go and travel all over the world in search of dragons and they

have an excellent fun time doing so, however they also managed to get into

lots of scrapes. There is definitely an adventure element to this, I think if you

like things like natural discovery, like science and like exploration then this

is definitely going to be a series that will appeal to you. It's not all fiery

dragons, it's a lot more about the study of dragons and finding out their inner

workings and really trying to find the science behind the magic, which is really

really cool and I definitely would say this is an easy fun to get into series

and well worth giving a try. If you are fairly new to

fantasy and it's something you're coming to fairly recently. then I would

recommend The Lie Tree by Frances Hardinge. This is a book that I just read

and this is actually the illustrated edition which is absolutely stunning, so

I will just show you some of the illustrations from within this because

they are by Chris Riddell and they are absolutely gorgeous so definitely worth

picking up the illustrated edition if you do go for this but this is a story

that is quite in the vein of adventure; young fun kids adventures. It definitely

has a lot more creepy undertones than you would get in say an Enid Blyton book

but it's in that similar vein of young kids going on an adventure, trying to

figure out mysteries trying to uncover what's really going on when the adults

aren't telling them everything and that is the root of this story and roots are

actually a large part of this story because it focuses on a tree which eats

lies and the more lies it eats, the bigger it grows and we have one main

character who is feeding it lies over the course of this book and it's just

growing more and more out of control. Alongside this she is trying to uncover

the mystery of what really happened to her father to make them leave England

and they're on this tiny island that's very remote and in the middle of nowhere,

where everyone doesn't really like them. It's definitely got creepy vibes to it,

it does appeal to YA and kid readers but this will appeal to adults as well

because I just read it myself and really really enjoyed it and I would say that

this is certainly a book that anyone could read, especially if you do get the

illustrated edition - it is wonderful. So, well worth checking this one out. Moving

on to a few of my favorite reads; one of the first fantasy books that I ever read

and that really got me into adult fantasy was this one: Final Empire by

Brandon Sanderson - this is the first one in the Mistborn series - and you may have

heard of this because it is a fairly popular series. Brandon Sanderson writes

in a way that it's very easy to get into so if you are already a YA reader or

a kids reader and you'd like to try some adult fiction or fantasy, this might

be a really good way into it because it is very approachable, very easy to

understand but has a really, really cool magic system. The magic in this world

revolves around swallowing a vial of liquid metal and depending on what

abilities you yourself have, you can then burn the metal inside your stomach to

make you do certain things, magical things, like being able to jump really

high or being able to fog people's minds. It's a really really cool concept, the

world that Sanderson builds in this is absolutely fantastic; very immersive, very

easy to get into but filled with vibrance and life and you can imagine it

very very easily, so I would say this is certainly a series to try and this one

is the first in a trilogy. It is a bit chunkier but I think Sanderson reads

very, very quickly so even though it looks intimidating, it's actually a very

fast paced read and I think you will get through it quickly and there are plenty

more of his books out there if you do enjoy this one as well. Moving on to the

final book I've got to recommend which is actually by one of my favorite

authors and that is this book by Robin Hobb.

It is Assassin's Apprentice and this follows one main character, so it is not

a multiple point of view of story. It's actually focused on just the one main

character and he is called Fitz. He is the young bastard son of a prince and

Fitz really gets put through the ringer in

this book and this series. Robin Hobb has a way of writing that I think appeals to

people who read literary books, so if you're already a literary reader or

you're already someone who likes quite evocative, descriptive stories then I do

think that Robin Hobb is going to be an author that you might enjoy. If you like

your characters to be incredibly well thought out and fleshed out, then again I

do think Robin Hobb will be an author that you can get behind. Her stories are

slower paced than some of the other books I've mentioned, so it does take

longer to get into her books and her world but she has an extensive magic

system that runs throughout her entire series and the main character - even

though he's dislikable at times - he's a very approachable and very relatable and

understandable character which means that you can really get inside the

mindset and enjoy kind of reading from his perspective about his life and the

trials and tribulations and challenges that he faces trying to learn how to

become an assassin. So, those are the six books that I would recommend for getting

into fantasy. Once you have read one of them hopefully you will enjoy it and you

will want to go and read more but if you have any other recommendations that you

think are great for starting places with fantasy, please do leave them in the

comments below. Thank you all so much for watching and I'm sure I will see you all

very soon! Bye :)
