Hey Anastasia, great running into you here at the Oslo Freedom Forum.

Yep.

So how are you enjoying the Oslo Freedom Forum?

It's awesome, Oslo is very beautiful and

this is my third year.

So every year I have to count if my friends are still alive

if they're like not been poisoned again.

And yeah

Am I risked being here?

Well, a lot of them would have to bodyguards with them.

Yeah.

I was wondering what how those larger men in black suits...

It makes sense

Yeah, it gets intense sometimes.

And hearing the horrible stories but you do get encouraged.

It was funny the other day I heard a story from a North Korean defector,

who, you know,

escaped North Korea and was sold as a child into sex slavery.

In China

Yeah in China, and like had a desperate journey

through like the deserts of China to get to Mongolia

to get to America and she went through all of this.

And then she's saying like you know her friends in New York

are going to counseling every week

and always complaining that horrible their lives are.

Yeonmi Park?

Yeah, Yeonmi Park

She was like, yeah I mean the good thing about going through darkness is that

she can appreciate the light.

Yeah that's wisdom, hmm.

Yeah, hopefully the rest of us can get wisdom

without having to go through all that.

Yeah

So tell me what you're doing next?

I am, after this, I am going to New York first to speak at the Teen Vogue summit

and then I'll be in Australia.

What are you doing in Australia?

To promote two of my films

to see some kangaroos,

hope they're still out in the winter.

And then to speak out of Parliament.

Why don't you tell us about those two films?

So one of them is called The Reunion.

It's about organ harvesting and the body exhibit.

And the other one is called In the name of Confucius,

it's a documentary that talks about Confucius Institutes,

how it's working as the United Front

part of that policy.

And basically spreading communist propaganda in the West.

indoctrinating.

Yeah but is there maybe something else you'd like to say about those movies?

Maybe it's being sponsored by a certain handsome host of a show?

Yeah,

yeah

Thank you so much.

So, yeah China Uncensored is sponsoring

The Reunion with Anastasia Lin on June 6th

and In the name of Confucius on June 7th.

So, if you're in Australia be sure to check her out.

'Football is true passion' – president of French club Olympique Lyonnais - Duration: 9:36.

Hello! We are with a prestigious guest: Jean-Michel Aulas,

president of the football club Olympique Lyonnais

and member of the executive board of the French Football Federation.

Hello Jan-Michel,

thank you for giving us the honor to be with us on the Red Square in Moscow in our gorgeous RT studio.

Why are you in Russia?

As Olympique Lyonnais president?

As a member of the of the French Football Federation?

As an entrepreneur or as a French team supporter? Explain it to us!

It's a bit of all of these.

First of all, as president of the Olympique Lyonnais since it's a recruitment and transfer period.

As a member of the executive committee, I follow the French team.

Earlier, I was in Istra with Mr. Le Graet, the president of the FFF, to be as close as possible [to the players].

Yesterday, I was obviously in Ekaterinburg.

And finally, Cegit, my computing company that I found 30 years ago, which is now led by an American group, has an office here in Moscow

so I take advantage [of being here].

[Football] it's a true passion.

It might be the sixth or seventh World Cup that I have followed entirely;

so I'm really into our team, 'Les Bleus.'

But I'm also crazy about this sport culture

which is also a geopolitical one that gave us this World Cup here in Russia for the first time.

What's your opinion regarding the organization of this World Cup and Russian hospitality?

It's a successful World Cup in terms of organization.

Security is at the highest level.

This imposes constraints, but it's better to have controlled constraints

and a country which is available to every person who comes

with gorgeous stadiums, with full stadiums!

The level [of football] is good, but the organization is on a higher level.

So I've got a lot of joy to be here in Moscow,

in Kazan a few days ago and in Ekaterinburg yesterday night.

You were in Kazan and Ekaterinburg.

The next game for France will be in Moscow on Tuesday.

You follow 'Les Bleus'

How do you describe the beginning of the competition for the French team, which reached the first knock-out round?

It's a good beginning

It's very difficult to make a good start when you are eyeing a final phase of the competition.

There is a physical preparation problem.

We saw that this World Cup got a specificity:

it's a really physical competition, really tactical.

All of the teams, which are described as less strong than the strongest ones,

have a very well organized strategy to be in the best shape as possible at first

and the French team managed to give positive signals by scoring essential goals to get six points.

Yesterday, the French team also managed to resist the Peruvian team, which was amazing.

I was really, really impressed by the team from Peru,

which has a strong penetration force.

Didier [Deschamps] managed to give his team the physical and tactical ability to respond

which helped to resist a second goal during the first half.

It is an excellent start to the competition.

It helps us to prepare for the third match [with Denmark] in better shape.

We know the French team will do better in the upcoming matches.

Victory is essential at this stage of the competition.

Bravo to the French team!

I think they will perform great in the coming games of [the 2018 World Cup].

In your opinion, how far can they go?

It's a bit too early.

We see that all the big teams are struggling.

I saw the first Germany game.

I also saw this afternoon Brazil win during the stoppage-time.

I watched Argentina getting battered with Leo Messi, who is struggling.

How can we explain that?

As I said earlier, the teams that are ready to make it to the finale

prepare themselves to make it until the end and not exactly to be good in the group phase.

So we will see a stronger French team when the eliminating phase will start?

Yes and its opponent won't play to bother us but to score!

With our forward trio, we can even say our attacking quartet – don't forget our Nabil Fékir

I think France will be more at ease in the next games.

But what the team did so far was amazing.

I was very impressed by the physical responsiveness of the French

because, once again, the Peruvian team was very physically and tactically strong.

Which team do you want against France for the next round?

Argentina may still be possible. Or maybe Iceland?

I think it would be Iceland.

And we already watched that game during Euro 2016.

So I truly prefer Iceland.

Not because it is a 'small country,' they showed us great qualities of physical dynamism and solidarity,

but because I keep thinking that at any moment Argentina can wake up.

And if Argentina wakes up at its fourth match, I don't want to be the team that faces it.

You talked earlier about Nabil Fekir, who is on the French team and who plays on your team – Olympique Lyonnais.

Jean-Pierre Bernès on LIC [French channel] said that his transfer to Liverpool could still happen.

Is it true? Can you confirm this? The Daily star wrote that Real Madrid may also be interested in him. Is that possible?

Listen, it was once planned that he would go to Liverpool.

I gave him my agreement.

That didn't happen because it took too much time to succeed.

Nabil is an incredible player.

Regarding efficiency, he is great; we saw that again yesterday.

He knows how to keep the ball and can create small unique spaces.

It's true that the plan with Liverpool didn't work out, and this has created interest in him from others clubs,

and not only from Real Madrid and its new trainer.

So, anything is possible. But we are, in Lyon, crazy about him…

Could he stay at Lyon?

My purpose is to make him stay.

But as always, I listen to the players.

To me, they are like my children, my sons.

So, I hope he will stay, but if he wants to go, we will do our best to find him a bigger club to welcome his efficiency and his talent.

Which player stands out to you during this competition?

I can't say much about that, but the Croatian players yesterday gave us something to talk about.

I have really enjoyed the Mexican team – almost every player, regarding their motivation and their technical skills and desire to play forward.

These two teams display enthusiasm and innovation

I'm sure that Serbia will also bring a lot of new things to football.

I also liked the Russian team, which if you listened to some, should not be having success.

They are one of my favorites because they have incredible strength, which is the strength that playing in your own country gives you, like for France in 1998.

They have very good players.

France-Russia – could that be the quarterfinal?

Emmanuel Macron said to Vladimir Putin during the St. Petersburg forum that he would be back in Russia if France goes to the quarterfinal.

Is it possible? And could it bring France and Russia closer to each other?

Of course! It would be amazing because they are two big countries with two presidents who show fantastic qualities.

When you watch Russia, which I know this past decade has evolved this way – strong on the cultural side,

on the organizational level, on the industrial and economic sides.

And we have President Macron who wants to leaves his mark on the world.

It would be amazing to have France-Russia.

But to me, Russia is crushing the hierarchical order of international football.

It's great for our Russian friends, but we have to be careful – their team has a lot of quality.

Thank you so much, Jean-Michel Aulas, for being our esteemed guest on RT France.

It was a pleasure, especially in such a beautiful place.

Alien "IF" First Contact? - Duration: 8:48.

It's a scene we have all watched in a million movies, the President or Prime minister of

a Western nation steps forward to talk with recently arrived alien visitors.

This leader putting themselves at the forefront of this historical moment painting themselves

as the global leader.

But if Aliens do land, why would they choose a first world nation?

Welcome to if………………………………………………………..

So let's skip over the whole if aliens exist debate and for this video decide that they

do.

Would a species of intelligent creatures from another world with the capability of interstellar

travel and possibly dimension jumping abilities, want to visit the nations we consider world

leaders?

A civilization that is that advanced should have a society far more developed than our

own, they would most likely be a fairer more empathic group.

So with a different or more highly developed sense of ethics what nations could or would

they choose that fit with their values.

Let's first take a look at "them", we have to consider that they would be at least

a type 1 civilization on the kardaslev scale.

What is that you may ask?

The kardaslev scale is a measure of development given to a society.

It has to meet a series of technological levels and achievements as a civilization and to

advance through the scale they must hit new technological markers.

This scale was first put together in 1964 by theoretical astrophysicist Nikolai Kardashev.

To be a type 1 civilization Kardashev says "that a Type 1 designation is a given to

species whom have been able to harness all the energy that is available from a neighboring

star, gathering and storing it to meet the energy demands of a growing population.

This means that we would need to boost our current energy production over 100,000 times

to reach this status.

However, being able to harness all Earth's energy would also mean that we could have

control over all natural forces.

Human beings could control volcanoes, the weather, and even earthquakes!"

(At least, that is the idea.)

These kinds of feats are hard to believe, but compared to the advances that may still

be to come, these are just basic and primitive levels of control

(it's absolutely nothing compared to the capabilities of societies with higher rankings).

In comparison humanity is currently at a level below 0 this is described as a lowly.

A Type 0 civilization is very underdeveloped (and we have a LONG way to go before being

promoted to a type I civilization).

Theoretical physicist Michio Kaku tends to believe that, all things taken into consideration,

we will reach Type I in around 100 to 200 years' time.

This scale goes to a maximum of level 5, a civilization that has reached this level would

be almost god like in their abilities.

Level 5 beings would have access to energy equal to all the energy in the known universe

but not just this universe but all universes and dimensions.

They would most likely be beyond our understanding and comprehension, let alone considering our

capabilities to open a dialogue with such entities.

So given that an alien race would have access to such technology and energy (that is way

beyond us) we can surmise that they would at least be, type 1.

With this being taken into consideration would they really be concerned with meeting the

global superpowers.

Yes, countries like the U.S.A, China and Russia do have massive energy reserves at their fingertips

and advanced technologies that we do not even know exist.

These type 1 and up civilizations would consider this all to be very primitive, especially

when compared to themselves.

Maybe they would be looking for something different.

After all their societies would have to have developed through a period similar to our

own, if these advancement follow a liner path.

They may be interested in more compassionate societies and civilizations whom are good

stewards for their planet.

If this were the case the countries they may consider for first contact would be very different.

We should think of places such as Norway, Bhutan or even the African continent.

Norway could be appealing as a first contact location due to their socialist policies.

This system heavily promotes equality and social responsibility.

The aliens may be aware of this and know that if they shared their advanced technologies

with that country.

Norway would be likely to share the technology and the knowledge first within their own society

and then with the world as a whole.

Then there are places like Bhutan.

This country maybe appealing to E.T, as in this Buddhist country the people and the environment

come first.

This country is often cited as an example of policy which put the happiness of the people

at the center of its government agenda.

The environment is protected, this because they know that a clean livable place is often

at the center of a societies peace, happiness and stability.

For the aliens this would present them with a place that measures and weighs the benefits

and disadvantages of the extraterrestrial technologies and act with an environmentally

responsible mind.

The last place we should consider is a continent rather than country, Africa.

If unlike the "Neill Blomkamp movie District 9"our aliens are not a slave race here by

a twist of fate but advance in all areas including their morality.

They may have sympathy when observing the suffering which spans the land and wish to

help.

Making first contact with such a location could show the aliens in a favorable light

and alleviate the suspicious minds of the rest of mankind.

Also if they shared the technology with the underdeveloped nations of the continent it

would change the world's political climate.

The powerful nations, whom have for centuries taken from Africa, maybe forced to look at

the continent in a more even light.

This is, of course, all speculation.

As far as we know first contact has not happened.

Well at least not officially!

We must also consider that this speculation does not take into account a civilization

that would wish to conquer or enslave us.

If such an event did occur there isn't much we could do to stop it.

Do you think aliens would enslave us or choose to advance us on the Kardashev scale?

Where do you think they will first land, and with whom should they make first contact?

Let me know in the comments below.

Kentucky warehouse collapses, sending thousands of whiskey barrels crashing to the ground - Duration: 3:51.

Kentucky warehouse collapses, sending thousands of whiskey barrels crashing

to the ground

Thousands of whiskey barrels crashed into a massive heap Friday when a large section

of a decades-old storage warehouse collapsed at a distillery in the heart of Kentucky bourbon

country.

The damaged warehouse at the Barton 1792 Distillery in Bardstown held about 18,000 barrels, and

it appeared that up to half the barrels inside were affected, the distillery's owner said.

"We are assessing how many of the impacted barrels can be recovered," said Amy Preske,

a spokeswoman for Sazerac, a Louisiana-based spirits company.

"A mix of various distilled products at various ages were stored in that warehouse."

No cause had been determined for the late-morning collapse, but no one was injured, Preske said.

It could be days or weeks before the company fully assesses damage to the warehouse, built

in the 1940s, she said.

"At this time, we do not know which Barton 1792 brands or customers will be impacted,"

she said.

The collapse won't affect normal operations at the distillery.

It expects to be open for tours Saturday and to resume normal business operations Monday,

Preske said in a statement.

The distillery began its normal seasonal shutdown for repairs and routine maintenance last week,

she said.

The collapse will not affect bourbon production once the distillery's summer shutdown ends,

she said.

The distillery is near a waterway, and officials were checking on whether any whiskey had spilled

into it.

Initial water samples showed no signs of contamination, Nelson County Emergency Management director

Joe Prewitt said.

The structure has a 12-foot (3.6-meter) basement to help contain spills, he said.

Officials from the Kentucky Department for Environmental Protection went to the scene,

and distillery workers took a number of steps to minimize any environmental risk, Preske

said.

About half the structure holding the rest of the barrels was still standing, said Milt

Spalding, a spokesman for the local emergency management agency.

Engineers who arrived Friday were looking at "trying to secure what was remaining and

trying to contain what had fallen," he said.

Bardstown fire Chief Billy Mattingly said crews had been working on the warehouse earlier

in the week.

No one was in the building when it collapsed, the company said.

Kentucky's bourbon sector is in the midst of a more than $1.1 billion boom that includes

expanded production facilities, more storage warehouses and new tourism centers.

Kentucky distillers have more than 6.6 million bourbon barrels aging, according to the Kentucky

Distillers' Association, but the warehouse collapse Friday was a first for Prewitt.

"We've had some warehouse fires, but I can't recall having a collapse," he said.

The Barton distillery, established in 1879, includes 29 storage warehouses and 22 other

buildings, according to its website.

Bourbon ages for years in charred new oak barrels, where it acquires its color and flavor.

Bardstown is about 40 miles (65 kilometers) south of Louisville.

Sazerac also owns Buffalo Trace Distillery in Frankfort, Kentucky.
