So today tadaa! its an umami burger haul
Do you all know what's Umami Burger is?
It's a burger chain that came from overseas in america
You have all heard of Time Magazine before right?
It was voted times most influential 17 burgers of all time
I saw articles like these a while back And have always wanted to try them out
" why haven't you done any videos on this " You may ask
These Burgers cost roughly....1,500 yen (bout 15 bucks)
and so it made me rethink things
And I've got six of these Burgers today
And two of their side orders
it came to be over 10,000 yen (approx a hundo)
its such a lavish meal I've been looking forward to this for a long time
itadakimasu These are their sides
Fries with shitake jalapeno poppers
Their fries come in all sorts of different flavors But I chose their truffle flavor
it smells amazing
it totes smells like truffles
the truffle flavoring is the bomb dot com
They're very thinly cut fries and nice and crispy
these are their shiitake jalapeno poppers
its a big round shitake mushroom
is this their jalapeno sauce?
yum
Within the breading is a shiitake mushroom With some sort of cheese sauce as well
The breading is so crispy and yummy
I think I'll eat it with my hands
I love the mouthfeel of the big meaty shitake
time for some san pelegrino
I love the flavor from the oranges
I think I'll start over here
It's nice and hefty

They put a U on the bun is it a U for 'Yuka' ?
its U for umami
Look at how yummy this looks There ain't no doubt
Did they stack two burger patties on here
Thankfully they provided some wrapper as well
There's all sorts of things in here Caramelize onions, American cheese, mustard
House spread, dill pickle, tomatoes double patty
Caramel onion.... That sounds amazingly delicious
These burger patties are on another level
its so juicy and tastes amazing
a very high quality and well made burger
the miso mustard has a slight sweetness to it making it taste so yummy
the buns are so F L U F F Y
its slightly springy and so yummy
I love the sweetness of the onions
tadaa The next Burger is called manly
don't it look amazing
Is this bacon in here? And something deep fried over here as well
House beer cheddar cheese Applewood smoked bacon, onion strings
umami catsup, mustard, with patty
They're called onion strings I guess They're very crispy onion bits
An ingenious pairing
since Umami burger is using the Japanese word umami
Was it a Japanese person living in America who made this as popular as it is?
bacon and beef means its double the meat
The smoked bacon is so very tasty
The cheese is rather rich tasting
The burger patty is on the rare side It's so very yummy
Next up a truffle Burger
this burger is rather simply made Truffle aioli, house truffle cheese
truffle flake, and patty
There's a crazy amount of Truffle in it
I never knew that there were that many Things that were made with truffle
it totes smells like truffle
the truffle sauce really tastes of truffle its so rich and yummy tasting
The burger patties are so yummy They're so very juicy
next up is umami BBQ
They say that this is released only in here in Japan Look at the bacon jetting out of this
It tastes amazing The bacon is on the sweet side its a miso maple bacon
miso and maple are a great combo
very american feeling burger
the tempura bits that are in here are so crispy and delish
next is this umaminoko
its another item only found in japan
They didn't overdo the sauce on this one In comparison to the others it's rather simply made
They use Gorgonzola cheese in here And it's a double stack of burger patties
Last up this umami burger
If we were at mos burger this would be their mos burger
There's some shiitake mushroom here and this yellow thing is made of parmesan
The parmesan thing looks so yummy
the parmesan is so yummy
The roasted tomatoes have a nice sweetness to them
The cheese is baked or grilled
the shitake mushroom is so meaty and delish
Last mouthful itadakimasu
Only the fries remain now
gochisosamadeshita Umami Burgers tasted amazing
they were rather expensive but each one was pretty big
Every one of them was rather Hefty and big so it is not a bad deal
it is expensive but they put a lot of thought and time into making these burgers
and they were very big the patties were amazingly juicy and tasty
Buns are so fluffy and sweet tasting They use all sorts of different toppings and different sauces
in every one of their burgers they were all so very nice
And the sides.... the shitake one and the truffle fries tasted real good
