Palace Revealed: Kate Middleton 'fell out with Meghan Markle before the royal wedding'.
Kate Middleton had a furious row with Meghan Markle after the former actress 'b*****ed' a member of her staff, it has been claimed.
The Duchess of Cambridge allegedly told Meghan, 37, it was 'unacceptable' to target her aides before May's royal wedding in Windsor
Kate, 36, is reported to have told Prince Harry's bride-to-be: 'They're my staff and I speak to them,' The Sun reported
. The reported row comes amid rumours of a rift between the two Duchesses, which have emerged since it was announced that Harry and Meghan would move out of Kensington Palace.
A source told the newspaper: [Meghan] and Kate fell out when she b******ed Kate's staff.
'It's a tricky situation but it was a one-off and they are determined to maintain a positive relationship even though they are obviously very different in their approach'
Kensington Palace has reportedly denied the claims.. Kate is also claimed to have been left crying in a stressful dress fitting in the lead-up to the wedding in May.
In addition sources have also told the Mirror that insiders are concerned about Meghan's 'authoritative' and 'abrupt' style
. It comes after claims from royal sources that Meghan clashed with Buckingham Palace over the smell at St George's Chapel, where she married Prince Harry
Insiders claimed that Meghan wanted air fresheners to be used in the 15th-century chapel but was told it was not appropriate
The Palace is said to have told her that the chapel was a regular place of worship for the Queen and that it would be good enough for Meghan.
The source said: 'Apparently Meghan didn't like the smell of the chapel, which, as you would expect, is a little musty
'It's not unpleasant at all, though. It just smells how you would expect an old building to smell
And that's something the Royal Family are particularly used to.. 'Meghan wanted staff to go around with these atomisers, like spritzer guns, and spray the chapel with scent before anyone arrived.
'Royal Household staff stepped in and told her office politely, but firmly, that this was the Queen's Chapel and it simply wasn't appropriate
I don't believe they said no because they thought it could affect the chapel in any way
It was simply the principle of the thing.. 'This is a place that has held royal weddings, funerals and even contains the Royal Vault
I don't believe a request of that nature had been made before'.. Kate Middleton brushes off feud rumours when asked about Meghan Markle's pregnancy.
KATE Middleton has brushed off rumours of a feud between her and sister-in-law Meghan Markle following speculation that the pair are at war.
Earlier this week rumours of a rift between the duchesses had started after royal sources claimed Kate, 36, was left in tears following an altercation with Meghan, 37, about Princess Charlotte's bridesmaid dress.
The "tension" between the "very different" women is thought to be a driving force behind Prince Harry and his wife's decision to move out of Kensington Palace and into Frogmore Cottage at Windsor Castle.
However, Kate appeared to be nothing but supportive of Meghan when asked about her pregnancy during a public appearance at Leicester University.
Asked by a fan if she was excited for "Meghan and her new baby", Kate gushed: "Yes, absolutely.
"It's such a special time to have all the kiddies … and a cousin for George and Charlotte as well, and Louis
So it will be really special".. A royal fan shared a video of the exchange on their social media account.
The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge were in Leicester to pay tribute to the five people who died in a helicopter crash last month, including Leicester City football boss Vichai Srivaddhanaprabha.
During the meet-and-greet, the Duchess of Cambridge added that the scarcely-seen Prince Louis — her third child with Prince William — is getting very "big".
"I can't believe he's seven months now, he's a big boy!" she told members of the public.
Kate also spilt the beans on her kids' sweet nickname for their father, Prince William, while chatting with local woman Fiona Sturgess.
"Kate said that William was playing football with the children last night and one of them said, I think it was George, 'Are you playing football tomorrow, Pops?'" Fiona told People magazine
"She said 'no!'". Just last month it was revealed Prince George and Princess Charlotte's nickname for their grandfather, Prince Charles, is "Grandpa Wales".
He added that Queen Elizabeth II used to call her own grandfather, King George V, "Grandpa England".
One thing royals won't say about Meghan 'rift'.. Reports that Meghan Markle is driving a wedge between brothers Prince Harry and Prince William is shaping up to be the biggest royal story of the year.
For the past week it seems each day has brought a new unfavourable allegation about the Duchess of Sussex, with the latest report claiming Harry feuded with William, accusing him of not "rolling out the red carpet" for Meghan ahead of their wedding.
A supposed split between the brothers is also purportedly the reason why Meghan and Harry have decided to set up house at Frogmore Cottage in Windsor rather than an apartment next to William and Kate at Kensington Palace.
But one thing has remained consistent among the barrage of bad press for the newest member of the royal family — deafening silence from the palace.
Despite unflattering headlines growing by the day, (including one which accused Meghan of reducing Kate Middleton "to tears" at a wedding fitting — ouch) no statement has been issued by either Kensington Palace or Buckingham Palace refuting the claims.
While it might seem odd that the royal family's spin doctors have not defended Meghan, the decision to stay silent is actually in line with protocol not to comment on stories of a personal nature.
PR expert Nick Ed rubbished reports of any feud between Meghan and the other royals while explaining it was perfectly normal for the palace to stay silent.
"The palace doesn't need to respond to any type of rumour like this — the relationships between the families is, of course, fine," Mr Ed told Yahoo UK.
The royal family has stayed silent on a number of major scandals — most notably the very protracted marriage breakdown of Prince Charles and Princess Diana.
When William and then girlfriend Kate briefly split in 2007, Clarence House refused to confirm the breakup.
"We don't comment on Prince William's private life," they said in a statement issued to the press.
It's a rule that has been followed when it comes to Meghan's extended family, with Kensington Palace refusing to respond to repeated jibes in the press from her half-sister Samantha Markle.
But the rule not to comment on personal matters has been broken twice in the last two years — both in response to stories about Meghan.
In November 2016, Harry's communications team issued an extraordinary statement confirming his new romance with Meghan and calling on the press to back off the couple.
Royal commentators predicted the rare statement was a sign the relationship was serious — something that was proved right a year late when Harry and Meghan were engaged.
After Meghan's father Thomas Markle found himself embroiled in a fake paparazzi photo scandal just days out from their wedding, Kensington Palace issued another statement.
"Sadly, my father will not be attending our wedding," Meghan said in the statement
"I have always cared for my father and hope he can be given the space he needs to focus on his health".
So while it's not surprising that the palace has stayed silent so far on reports about Meghan causing a rift, it's possible the royal family will break its own rule in coming weeks if it is deemed necessary.
'I'm sure she'll make a movie again': Meghan will return to Hollywood, says her pal and agent (who insists she'll face down hostile royal officials).
Married to Prince Harry and with a baby on the way, the Duchess of Sussex has the world as her stage.
The American former actress will, nevertheless, perform a spectacular return to Hollywood, according to her last showbusiness agent.
'I'm sure she'll make a movie again,' Gina Nelthorpe-Cowne tells me. 'I really do think that'.
Gina, who represented Meghan until she met Harry, compares the Duchess's situation with that of Oscar winner Grace Kelly, who abandoned Tinseltown to marry Prince Rainier of Monaco.
However, Princess Grace's yearning to return led to major ructions with her husband, who banned her from accepting the leading role in Alfred Hitchcock's 1964 film Marnie and subsequent Hollywood offers.
Meghan now has an important role in the royal 'Firm' and a diversion to La La Land would not be welcomed by officials.
But Gina, who became close friends with Meghan and was with her the day she met the Prince, says courtiers couldn't prevent her achieving her big-screen ambitions.
'If Meghan wants to make a movie again, she will,' says Gina at a party in London's Marylebone.
'She's a determined woman and she knows what she wants. She's a woman of today, she's got her will and she's a leader'.
Meghan made her name in the legal drama Suits and had mainly small parts in films, but she would win starring roles on her return.
'She'll definitely do something serious,' Gina says. 'She's not going to be a frivolous little girl like she's been before
And she's a great actress'.. The Hollywood return will not happen until Meghan, 37, has had a number of children
'I know how much she wanted babies — plural,' Gina adds.. 'She's going to be a lovely mummy — she's very nurturing and that's probably why Harry fell for her'.
Meghan Markle opens up about divorce. Her first tell-all interview about her first marriage.
A set of never before seen pictures of Meghan Markle in Malta has been released, and now the photographer behind the shots has opened up about what it was like working with the now Duchess of Sussex.
Kurt Arrigo spent two days with Meghan in the Mediterranean country in March 2015, after she was invited by the local tourist board to explore her the birthplace of her great-great-grandmother.
Arrigo told the Daily Mail that Meghan was 'down-to-earth,' 'very pleasant to work with' and happy to chat about her recent divorce to Trevor Engelson.
'She had mentioned that she was previously married as well but she didn't really open up about it,' said Kurt, who met Meghan two years after her split from director Trevor Engelson.
'It was very candid,' Kurt reveals. 'She didn't really want any poses, but then after a while she felt comfortable
It wan't a fashion shoot, it was very much a lifestyle [shoot].. 'It was a very casual shoot and I just kind of tagged along and made her feel comfortable and not do it in an invasive way and do it discreetly'.
