Youtube daily Dec 21 2016

- Hey guys, this is Austin and today I'm here

with five cool tech gifts that won't break the bank.

To start with, we have the latest in cutting edge

mobile VR technology.

Google Daydream.

So this really is an evolution of what you would

find with Google Cardboard.

And one of the main reasons that makes this different...

So we have the controller

which is one of the big differences

between this and Cardboard but

we'll get to that in a second.

You know I've gotta say this actually looks pretty nice.

So it's all this soft-touch fabric material.

One of the things with VR headsets is that they can get

kind of uncomfortable after a while.

They can get hot and sweaty and especially if it's heavy,

it's gonna really kind of weigh on you.

But, this actually is pretty nice.

So one of the downsides to using Daydream is that

it is not as widely compatible as Cardboard,

which works on pretty much everything.

So with Daydream, you need to use a few specific phones.

And the main ones that are out right now

are the Pixel Phones.

This is the future guys.

Definitely the future.

Oh right so, I can actually aim with the controller.

That's cool.

Alright so now I'm in Google Photos.

This is a panorama I took in San Diego

and you know what, that actually looks pretty cool.

Whoa.

Alright.

Yo this is pretty good.

360 video is cool, but when you have to take that

and kind of stretch it all the way around you,

it becomes very difficult

to actually be able to get something

that's a high enough resolution.

We're talking about something like probably 8K if not

12K to really get the full resolution all around you.

Whereas something like this, I'm watching it on

what essentially looks like a giant big screen

in front of me.

Oh, that's cool.

So, I'm here on the page to download Need For Speed

and as I look around, I'm actually sitting in a garage.

Something that's kind of cool is I can actually reach down

in VR and pick up the Daydream controller.

It's not perfectly one-to-one like Vive is but,

that's actually really cool.

I mean, once you're in the game it looks nice I guess.

It's just really hard for me to take a racing game seriously

without good controls and this is kind of goofy.

So one of the things with the Daydream controller,

it doesn't feel like it's really that well suited

for an experience like this.

It works and honestly it works better than it really should

for a racing game but, I think this is gonna be,

this will be a lot better suited

if I had a proper controller.

I think Daydream might just be my favorite mobile VR setup.

So for 80 dollars,

assuming you have a Daydream compatible phone like a Pixel,

this is a pretty cool gift

to start out with.

It's not as good as a full VR setup,

but this is also a lot cheaper and a lot smaller.

Next, we have the Kingston MobileLite Wireless Pro.

Big shout out to Kingston for sponsoring this video.

So this little guy actually does a lot.

So for starters, you have 64 gigabytes of storage built-in.

So, when you pair it via WiFi to your phone,

you can use it to dump all kinds of data, pictures,

videos, all that kind of stuff.

There's also an SD card reader, as well as a full USB port.

Now that port does double duty.

First of all, you can plug something like a flash drive in

to expand the capacity.

Or you can plug your phone in,

because this doubles as a backup battery.

So, to get this guy up and running,

all you need to do is connect to the WiFi network

and then download the MobileLite app.

Yeah there we go, 58.2 gigabytes free.

As one of my most treasured possessions in life,

this photo of Ralphy has to be backed up

in as many places as possible

and the first place is my MobileLite.

You can also do full backups from your phone.

For example, I can dump my entire camera roll over here,

contacts, calendar, all that kind of stuff.

While it's nice to have this stuff backed up on the cloud,

you should always have multiple copies

of anything that's really important.

And something like this is easy enough to carry around

with you everywhere.

Now as far as gifts go, I honestly think this is probably

one of the best things on the list.

This is the Fujifilm Instax Mini 90.

So what you're getting here is essentially

a new-age Polaroid.

So, it's a film camera that will immediately print

your shots out.

Yes!

This looks so cool man.

I've gotta say, I really like the look of this thing.

So Fuji does make a cheaper version of the Instax,

but it looks a little more like a toy, it's all plastic.

Whereas this looks properly retro.

Around back you're not gonna find a lot.

So you have a couple of buttons to change your mode,

turn on and off things like the flash

and you also have an actual optical viewfinder.

Even though this is a film camera,

we do have a rechargeable battery.

Once we get this in, we just need to load the film.

I mean, we all have digital cameras,

we're all used to being able to take a million pictures

and pick the best one but, there's something special

about you get one shot,

if you waste it, that's gone.

So I feel like it almost kind of forces you

to be a better photographer.

Even if you've never used a film camera before,

this is super easy.

All you need to do is take this guy and line it up

on the back of the camera.

There we go.

God, there's something so satisfying

about a physical picture.

But that actually looks pretty good,

that looks pretty good.

That looks like Ken right there.

Does this actually work?

I don't actually know if this trick works.

I've always seen people do it, I don't believe it works.

This is not the most practical camera in the world,

but it is a lot of fun.

Knowing that you have that pressure

to make sure you get the shot right

and to be able to actually get

a physical version of that shot almost immediately.

It's not some amazing new concept, but I've gotta say

this is way more fun than I thought it was going to be.

Next we have the Chromecast Ultra.

So if you guys have been watching the channel for a while

or you know, follow technology at all,

you know that the Chromecast is kind of a big deal

and this is the latest version which supports

not only 4K but also HDR.

So this is not any kind of massive difference between

previous Chromecasts.

What you're getting here really is just a hard...

At first glance it's really difficult to tell the difference

between the Ultra and the normal Chromecast.

And, in actual use it's also going to be pretty difficult

because it's basically the same thing.

The main advantage here really is the idea of

getting a fairly inexpensive 4K streaming box.

Or well, puck, I guess is a better term.

So once you have a Chromecast hooked up to your TV,

it's a pretty seamless experience.

So you connect it to your WiFi and once you do,

you can pretty much stream from any device

that is Chromecast compatible

and these days there are a lot.

So most apps have Chromeast support so things like YouTube,

things like Netflix, you can stream right to your TV.

And honestly, I actually prefer Chromecast

to most sort of smart TV interfaces.

If you're still rocking a 1080p TV,

the normal Chromecast is fine.

However, if you plan on upgrading your video game

for 2017, the Chromecast Ultra is worth a look.

If you're looking for something a little bit more

on the stocking stuffer side of things,

then we have Powrtabs.

So these are kind of interesting.

They are one-time use mobile chargers for smartphones.

So, not only do you have one with a Lightning cable,

but you can also pick it up for microUSB

and at about five dollars each,

this can actually really come in handy.

So I think for the most part

you're gonna find these things

in like vending machines and that sort of stuff.

But, if you're in a pinch

and you really need a quick charge,

there's not a lot to this guy.

Wow, that is actually.

Now a disposable battery might sound like a bad idea

but this is very basic.

So it's got sort of a cardboard shell

and the Lightning cable is very, very simple.

However considering that these are all recyclable,

it does make sense.

So to charge, we should just be able to plug it into

the Lightning port and, there we go!

Charging.

So with about 1,000 milliamp hours

it might not give you a full charge,

in fact it definitely won't but,

in a quick pinch you need a little bit of extra juice,

this could be a serious lifesaver.

As always, all the links you guys need will be

in the description of this video

and you should also go check out a video from my friends over at Kingston

where they check out some of the best photography tips.

Anyway guys thank you so much for watching

and I will catch you in the next one!

2004-2014 F-150 Westin R7 Running Boards (SuperCab) Review & Install - Duration: 3:37.

Hey, I'm Alex from americanmuscle.com with my quick review and breakdown of the Westin

R7 running boards fitting your 2004 through 2014 F-150.

So in this overview, I'm gonna be covering what you can expect in terms construction

and materials, who these are gonna appeal to, what you should expect to be spending.

And then last but not the least, we're gonna hit the installation.

But right off the bat, I'm giving these a very easy one out of three wrenches in the

difficulty meter.

And you should have these on your truck in about one hour tops.

So these running boards are gonna be great for the F-150 owner that didn't have either

running boards or step bars in their truck from the factory or if you are running a factory

step bar and you're looking for something that's gonna be a little bit different in

terms of styling as well as having a very large step pad.

These running boards are gonna be great to make the size of your truck look that much

better as well as accentuate lines and, again, while giving you a much better step pad to

get in and out of your truck.

Another great added benefit of these is that you're gonna be protecting your investment

from small door dings that you might find in the parking lot as well as protecting it

from any type of light brush that you might find doing some off-roading.

So in terms of the construction here, these running boards are gonna differ a lot much

more than that of your standard running board.

That's something that I like a lot with this set up as these are gonna feature a concealed

and recessed look.

Now, with most of your running boards, they're gonna be protruding out of your truck.

Now, it's a little bit tough to tell with these being on the table.

But we're gonna show you some shots here in a second, and you're gonna see just how much

tucked up they are under your rocker panel.

So down to brass tacks here, guys, we're gonna see that this set up is gonna be comprised

primarily of stainless steel that's then gonna be polished to a high shine, which, in my

opinion, is gonna mesh very well with either light or dark-colored trucks as well as if

you have either a lot or a little bit of chrome on your F-150 as well.

So in terms of the pricing here, guys, you should expect to spending right around 530

bucks for this setup, which is gonna be right in the middle of the spectrum for running

boards, step bars, or nerf bars.

On the bottom of the spectrum, you're gonna see that some can swerve around $99, and,

at the very top, surpass at least $1,500.

But that's gonna be based upon their brand, materials, and construction as well as how

they look.

Now, again, for the pricing here, you're gonna be getting some very quality parts with one

of the larger step pads out there on the market, which is going to make it that much easier

getting and in and out of your F-150.

Again, one of the things that I like here the most is the gonna for the fact that these

are gonna have a recessed bracket set up.

So these aren't gonna be protruding out of your truck like most if not all step bars.

So as far as the installation goes here, just like I said in the beginning of the video,

you're gonna be looking at a pretty easy one out of three wrenches on the difficulty meter

and about one hour to get these on to your truck.

So before throwing these on to your truck, I'd make sure you have a couple of tools handy,

which are gonna be a basic socket set, a torque wrench, as well as a hex bit set.

And while it's not completely necessary, it's a good idea to have a second set of hands

around as getting these on your truck by yourself might be a little bit on the tough side.

So like most, if not all, running boards or nerf bars out there, these are gonna install

utilizing the stock mounting studs, which can be found on the interior side of your

rocker panel.

So, again, all in all, very easy one out of three wrenches and about one hour tops to

get these on to your truck.

All right, so just to wrap things up here, I like this option from Westin based on the

fact that these are not gonna look like every other running board out there, with their

unique recessed construction as well as hidden brackets.

Now, when I say hidden, these are gonna be visible, but you're really gonna have to creep

down underneath your truck to find them.

Now, that's not something you're gonna see with most, if not all, other options out there,

because they're gonna be protruding out and away from the truck.

So that's my review and breakdown of the Westin R7 running boards fitting your 2004 through

2014 F-150 available right here on americanmuscle.com.

15. The Fallen Diver

At first glance, the photo seems to be fairly normal. A few divers who are casually enjoying their time underwater and it looks as though everyone is having a good time. But, in the background, a diver can be seen laying on the ocean floor apart from the other divers.

What most people don't realize about the photo is that the diver in the background is actually a murder victim who had been killed in the ocean days before the divers in the photo decided to swim in that specific location. According to authorities, a man had murdered his wife, thinking that no one would find her at the bottom of the ocean. During the court trials, it was first declared an accident.

However, later evidence revealed that the husband had murdered his wife, allowing authorities to mark it as a homicide. What the husband obviously didn't anticipate was the possibility of divers catching it on film. While this photo isn't terrifying by itself, sometimes the back story offers more terror than anticipated. There are many photos that have been captured around the world, such as murder victims, or even a killer on the run, that sent shivers down our spines.

14 .Trees of Spiders

There is certainly no shortage of fear in the world when it comes to spiders, however, these trees in Pakistan surely take the cake. In 2010 a devastating flood occurred leaving many locations of Pakistan flooded. Russell Watkins, a multimedia editor from the U.K. who was in the area said, "It was a very slow-motion kind of disaster." Parts of Sindh, specifically, had this strange occurrence. Spiders that no longer found refuge on the ground, took to the trees and seemed to stay there.

They ended up making nests in the leaves of the trees and didn't show signs of coming down. For the surviving locals in the area, they seemed to go on about their days, trying their best to avoid the spiders when possible. It was certainly a problem to everyone who encountered the trees, as the spiders could come jumping down from the trees at any time"

Watkins also said, "Certainly, when we were there working, if you stood under one of these trees, dozens of small, very, very tiny spiders would just drop down onto your head." Although strange, and for some interesting, Sindh is certainly not the place to go if arachnophobia plays a part in your fears. Today, however, the spider population in the trees has decreased greatly, and things have slowly gone back to normal.

13. Freddy Krueger In The Background?

Most of us are familiar with famous horror movie characters such as Jason, and Michael Meyers, but the scariest of them all has always seemed to be Freddy Krueger. For those who do not know, Krueger is a character from the famous movie A Nightmare on Elm Street. Krueger terrorizes and tortures a group of teenagers because of their parents' past mistakes. His appearance consisted of a red and black striped long sleeve shirt, a hat, and a long sharp metal glove. His face is completely burnt and splotchy

This photo looks eerie, but it appears to be just three children posing for a picture and looking up at the camera with joy, while the little girl to the left is looking in surprise. And there, in the background, is a man, standing creepily behind the children with an evil looking grin. The scariest thing about this photo is the man who looks so much like the famous character Freddy Krueger. His creepy smile, along with his leaned posture could send chills down anyone's back. One of the facts that make this photo so creepy is that it was taken long before the movie A Nightmare on Elm Street came out.

12. The Man In The Window

Imagine yourself walking up to a street post in the middle of the city. You see a small, white piece of paper with writing on it, and a strange orange clay head above the note. As you read it, you start to think the note doesn't make any sense, until you finish it. Once finished the fright that creeps upon you is eminent, for the words of the note are stuck in your mind forever. That seems to be the case with this photo, its origin still remaining unknown. And if the photo doesn't strike you as creepy, it's certainly unsettling to say the least.

The words printed on the note read: "Notice. While you are reading this, there is a man in one of the windows high above you who is taking your photograph. He will then make a wee model of you and put it with other wee models of other people. Then, he plays weird games with them." While the note was probably made solely to strike fear into people who are making their way down the street during the day, the lingering wonder still exists in the back of your mind, that maybe, what the note is saying is true.

11. An Imaginary Friend

This is a drawing done by a little girl who wanted someone to know that she has an imaginary friend, but her parents aren't able to see her. The little girl explains on the drawing: "This is Lisa. She is my friend. My mom and dad can't see her so they said she is an imaganery [sic] friend. Lisa is a nice friend." Looking at the friend this little girl drew, it doesn't look as though Lisa is such a pleasant being. With red eyes, chest, mouth, and hand, it looks as though adorable Lisa has been up to no good.

It's been a common occurrence, especially in the past few decades, for children who are very young, to form bonds with beings that adults will think are imaginary friends. Many spiritualists and mediums believe that some of these stories are about spirits who are attempting to make a connection with the child. In many cases, this doesn't serve as a problem to the parents or the children, but sometimes, when the spirit is believed to be very malevolent or trying to cause harm, there are measures that are taken to insure the child's safety, as well as the parent's.

10. Possessed At The RedBox

Strange things happen every day, but some things are simply too weird to ignore. While not much is known about this photo, something very strange appears to be occurring. The lady in the photo is taking a look at the movies in a Redbox kiosk and her head appears to be tilting back in a very unnatural way. It doesn't appear that anyone else is around, reacting to the strange happening, making quite a few skeptics wonder if the photo is fake. Many people have claimed that this is a photo of a girl becoming possessed while in public

however the true origin of the photo, as well as the situation, have never been discovered or explained. One thing is for sure though, it's highly unlikely to have your head tilted back so far without injury. There have been a few people who have made comments about the photo, saying that it has been photoshopped, while others have agreed that the head cannot tilt back that far, however, the conclusion on whether or not the photo is real, is still out for debate. Skeptics and believers continue to try and figure out who this woman was and why she looked so strange on the footage

Invincible Youth 2 [HD] | 청춘불패 2 [HD] - Ep.41: Chuseok Special - Duration: 1:05:08.

Hyoyeon, Bora, come quick!

My babies...

You look so pretty in hanbok!

You wore one, too!

Mom, why did you make us wear hanbok?

It's embarrassing.

Get on the train first, then I'll tell you.

But are we going alone? Where are the others?

Youth forever, Invincible Youth!

- Yewon. / - Why?

What's with your dress? It's too much!

It's not! We should be proud of hanbok.

People prefer this these days.

Short and comfortable.

- Hey... / - Don't ask.

No sponsor for me...

Are you 7 years old or what?

School play?

Anyway, why are we wearing hanbok today?

Because it's Chuseok special.

Let's visit people we're thankful to.

Visit someone you want to thank.

Anyone in mind?

- My middle school teacher. / - Middle school teacher!

My grandparents.

Dad?

It's a "he" for sure.

- Yeah? / - Mom's having an affair!

Why her?

Before my debut

I went from Gwangju to Seoul back and forth.

- When you were preparing. / - I had to skip classes.

It was hard for me, and she always supported me.

My grandparents live in Seoul,

but we haven't met for over a year.

- But you both live in Seoul! / - I know.

I'm heading to Cheongdo to meet someone

I'm so grateful to.

We finally get to meet our dad?

I can't even remember

when's the last time I took a bus.

Me, too.

It's 4 stations away.

I feel old wearing this.

- North Korean... / - Right.

- "Hi!" / - "Hi!"

KBS, "Youth Forever."

Forever!

- You're so good. / - I know.

- Taking a bus makes me nervous! / - Me, too.

You have to take your shoes off.

Let's really do that by scissors-paper-rock.

Scissors-paper-rock!

It's Jiyoung.

It will be like this.

Does this go to Sindorim?

You get on first.

Hey!

Does this go to Sindorim?

Thank you.

- Hello. / - Hi!

What did you think when you came to Seoul first

to become a singer?

To get it all.

To have all!

I was sad because...

Unlike those who lived in Seoul, I lived in Gwangju.

So I could only train on weekends.

- So you did 2-3 times harder. / - Right.

I even shortened sleeping time.

What did your family and friends say

when you made your debut?

My mom cries every time.

What do you want to do most in Gwangju?

- I want to visit Chungjangro. / - Oh, downtown.

- I want to eat fries. / - What fries?

Oh, it's Gwangju.

Is Gwangju fries famous?

I ate them everyday,

Let's do Chungjangro guerrilla date.

Good!

Is hanbok uncomfortable?

- I can move my legs freely. / - Very comfortable.

You're so pretty in hanbok like maids of honor.

I mean, maids of honor were the prettiest in old times.

- So pretty. / - Then mom is...

How do I look in hanbok?

Like a diner owner.

Bad mouther!

Like the picture on a sign.

The original diner!

Is it your first time to ride a train?

Not first, but first in a very long time.

It's much more romantic than car drive.

Buy us some boiled eggs when the cart comes by.

Okay, if you behave.

Anyway, who are we visiting today?

It's not really dad, is it?

That, I would love.

Why are you grateful to that person?

He's my savior.

I came to Seoul in 1986 with empty hands.

I really wanted to become a comedian.

Audition after audition... KBS, MBC, KBS...

8 auditions and all fail.

It was devastating.

I was about to give up, but he encouraged me not to.

He even introduced me to a producer.

He made who I am now.

So who is he?

He's the original comedian.

So, a comedian.

And he doesn't laugh much.

But makes others laugh?

Not very.

- Let's make him laugh today. / - Good idea.

How does he talk?

"Hi. You came. How would I know who Bora is?"

Like this.

I know, I know! I recognize his buzzword.

"1 week of computer makes you like Jeon Yuseong."

Correct!

I'll buy you noodles in Cheonan.

Really?

- Hi. / - Hi!

Who wears hanbok to Sindorim?

No one.

Wait, we look like hillbillies!

- It's embarrassing. / - So high!

Scary!

- People are staring. / - They always were.

Hello!

Do you watch Invincible Youth?

Youth...

She doesn't.

It's Saturday 5 p.m. on KBS.

- Please watch it. / - Merry Chuseok!

- Hi. / - Hello.

- Various menus! / - We really look like hillbillies.

Basin bibimbap!

Hi.

Waitress, here.

Hey, why did you order such heavy ones?

- Heavy! / - Give us.

Bibimbap in basin is great.

- Hot... / - Hot?

- So hot. / - Very hot.

Korean food is so hot.

- Jiyoung's so into that these days. / - I am.

- I love Korean food. / - Yeah?

I just love it.

Hey, hanbok and steel watch?

What's your favorite food that grandma makes?

Tteokguk, japchae, and... Her songpyeon is great!

- Wow, let's make it together today. / - Good idea!

That's pretty.

Here, mom.

Look.

Delicious.

Who taught you that manner!

Mom.

Hot.

Yummy.

Mom, it's says it's Cheongdo soon.

We're almost there.

Let's give all our baggage to one person.

Scissors-paper-rock!

Impossible.

- It's so funny. / - Give me one more chance.

- Never. / - Just once!

- What's done is done. / - I can't carry 3 baggages!

Hurry, mom.

Mom, there's one more.

Hi, there.

My daughters gave all their baggages to old mom.

How nice!

It's because you lost!

Another chance please. It's too heavy.

Okay, one more.

Scissors-paper-rock!

Did we plan this?

How is this possible?

It's funny.

We tried to help, but, too bad.

She must miss this.

Let's bring her some.

We visited you since we came to Gwangju.

Can you have a cup of coffee with us?

Wow, Suzy gallery.

Suzy here, Suzy there...

Doesn't look so elementary.

Chasing after deer antlers?

You cared about your health...

Can you have a cup of coffee with us?

I made it myself.

Sit beside your daughter.

We had invited you to Invincible Youth once,

and now we're here.

Today...

We went to Chungjangro.

And heard about her training days.

She had to come and go from Gwangju to Seoul.

How was it to you?

As a parent...

it was hard to send away my loving daughter far away.

You always cry when I ask you about that... Sorry.

Oh, Suzy's dad's here.

Welcome!

You also visited Daebudo.

You've become more handsome.

So Suzy persuaded you to become a singer?

I tried really hard.

When I got into the dance institution first,

there were many boys there,

and I had to stay there late,

so my parents were so worried.

I wasn't a good student, actually...

because mom and dad were busy working!

I visited her dance institution without telling her

to see if she's really there.

I didn't even tell my husband.

And when I got there...

I was wearing a huge T-shirt.

Covered in sweat.

That's when I knew she was going to make it.

It's Chuseok tomorrow,

but it's hard to meet her in holidays, right?

- We don't even expect that. / - Oh...

She never came, so we don't expect her.

Wait... A handsome guy.

They want to meet her, right?

But even you can't meet her.

Who's your favorite singer?

Because it's been such a long time.

Grandma and Jiyoung's character is alike.

Very cool.

It's pretty, Jiyoung.

Are you looking for the envelope?

No, she gives us pocket money all the time.

Thank you so much.

It's nice and soft.

It fits your character.

Octopus...

Failure! He didn't laugh.

We heard you don't laugh much and

you don't make others laugh much.

Don't laugh and don't make others laugh.

Yeongja's wrong. I laugh well actually.

But when I first made a debut,

people forced me to laugh at all the others' jokes.

I hate forcing, so I decided not to laugh.

When I laugh, even strangers passing by stare at me.

"He laughs!"

Because people don't see that often.

There was an even a program called

"Make Jeon Yuseong laugh."

I remember that.

Why did you cast mom? What was the attraction?

Her power.

Her power to capture the audience.

Yeongja used to work at noisy messy situations.

But she managed to capture the audience

despite the difficulty,

and that's when I saw her potential.

Before I made a name, I had some hard times.

He wasn't that well off, but I kind of ripped him off.

- A big amount? / - $20,000.

But you refused?

Yes, and how I regret it!

I'm still waiting.

As I told you before, don't give the money to me,

but give it to a true comedian-wannabe.

That's the same as helping me.

That was just lip service!

How I regret it...

We found her!

Suzy desperately wants to see you.

That's why we came all the way here.

How was she at school?

She did well at school events.

Making choreography, choosing music...

She did really hard.

That's why she was asleep in class all the time!

But Suzy says you weren't that scary

even when you were scolding her.

I admit it.

- Is she scary now? / - Yes!

- She is? / - Yes!

- Do you miss Suzy? / - Yes, it's been a long time.

And I heard she dozed off a lot in classes.

Did she take a deep sleep or what?

No...

She was preparing to become a singer,

so she went to Seoul at weekends and

came back at the dawn of Monday.

She was always tired.

That's why she dozed off a bit.

- Always? / - Now always.

Hey...

She beautified the story.

A nap in class is amazingly sweet, isn't it?

Only occasionally.

- Where was your seat? / - In the middle...

- In the middle. / - There?

- There. / - Juwon's seat.

Let's reenact it.

- Is it okay for you? / - Of course!

Do you wish she sits beside you every day?

How did you sleep?

Open the book, half and half.

That's the most fluffiest.

And like this...

Then what did Mrs. Kim do?

- Hi! / - Welcome, Jiyoung.

- Hey! / - Hi, Jeongeun.

Nice to meet you.

You all dressed up!

I'll introduce them.

She's my first aunt.

- Hi. / - Nice to meet you.

- She's my cousin. / - Oh, hi.

- So pretty. / - And he's Jang Seongwu.

- Seongwu? / - Say hi.

- Hi, Seongwu. / - Hi.

He has grown so big!

So Jiyoung's mom is your first daughter-in-law?

No, second.

- I'm the first. / - Oh.

When did Jiyoung's mom get married?

When she was 20 years old.

- That's my age. / - I got married at 20 as well.

- Jiyoung should get married. / - No!

Why not?

Gu Hara.

- They're all pretty. / - Okay.

- How's Yewon in person? / - So pretty.

Much slimmer than on TV.

I know, that's the problem.

Should I visit everybody and show myself in person?

You should shave first.

Nothing to shave!

I've been telling her for 3 months now.

My skin is dark, so what?

Anyway, let's begin making songpyeon.

Hard to just sit and watch, huh?

- She's young. / - Right.

But I could do it all even when I was young.

- Gangnam dance! / - Alright, let's do it.

Coming through.

This theater building looks peculiar.

It's indoor theater this way,

but when you open that wall,

it becomes an outdoor theater.

Outdoor?

No way...

See that tree in the middle of the lake?

It's a submerged area, and that's a patron tree.

You can see that right in the middle.

It's just amazing when full moon arises.

My daughters prepared something to show you.

We'll sing "Grace of teachers"

for Jeon Yuseong, behalf of mom.

We'll dance, so sing along please.

Is it better for them to sing than me?

Of course.

Stop!

Sorry, it was a bit too much.

- Was it ugly? / - It was?

I wish they wore something lighter.

- Anyway, they expressed my gratitude. / - It was fun.

I'll join the ending part.

- Really? / - Yes.

Is it okay for you?

Yes!

Sing the last verse.

There she is. Has the class ended?

- Yes, it has. / - Sorry for the disturbance.

- Your students loved her. / - They did.

I could feel you in their faces.

They're all so bright and nice.

- Teacher is important. / - I know. I made Suzy.

I see you're not bad at bragging.

Kind of.

Anyway, what's this?

- Suzy's student record. / - No...

- And year book. / - No!

I won't open it. Let me just check the cover.

2009 student record, Munhwa Middle School 3-6.

Suzy, check it first.

Let me see.

Suzy's student number was 18.

- Well... / - Wait!

Wow, A+, A+, A+...

- Is this mine? / - No?

Make it mine, edit it.

Let's not.

- What's this? / - Prize record.

- Can this go public? / - Of course!

Oh, this.

Second prize at Munhwa English Festival!

Munhwa English Festival... Oh, performance part.

I thought she got awarded with English.

English Festival, but performance part.

- It was in English! / - She sang in English.

- Really? / - I sang a pop song.

2nd prize in 1st grade,

and 2nd prize again in 2nd grade.

And...

- Wow, she was good at English. / - True.

An award certificate at English Conversation.

- Really? / - Look.

- When was it? / - 2009.

- It's Suzy's, right? / - Right.

Native teacher picked her.

- Among whole 3rd graders? / - Oh, this!

Yeah!

That's all?

Here's a big one.

2009, August 12th... A prize for good conduct!

It's hard to get.

- Some more at the back? / - Yes.

- An honor student award? / - No, something else.

Dance, her specialty.

- What are you laughing? / - I love its name.

She got an Art Award from

Gwangju Sport-for-all Conference

when she was in 2nd grade.

The name of the competition is...

2009 Inter-Club...

It's not like that.

Club dance?

No, it was girls' hip hop.

Club means team. It was a team match.

In whole Gwangju?

I just love its name.

2009, Inter-Club Sport-for-all Dance Competition.

Art Award to Suzy.

Wow.

It's kind of fancy.

Look, dream job category.

In 1st grade, Suzy's dream was celebrity.

Suzy's mom underestimated her... Dance teacher?

- What! / - She was only 1st grader, so...

Suzy persuaded her mom,

so in 2nd grade, Suzy's dream

crystallized as a singer.

And her parents, celebrity.

Not a singer yet.

In 3rd grade, her parents got persuaded.

Suzy, singer, parents, singer also.

1st grader's "dance teacher" is so funny.

I don't believe it.

Mrs. Kim commented...

"She's working hard for it, and has plenty of potential."

- So you knew. / - Sure.

In 2nd grade,

she studied 40 hours of "Reading Study."

But Mrs. Kim commented...

"She's not interested in reading.

Only reads comic books."

That's not true.

I had no interest even in comic books.

Because you had a concrete dream.

It wasn't a novelist, it was a singer.

I read a lot now,

but I wasn't interested in books at that time.

She was young then.

This is funny.

She's very interested in Israel.

You're into Israel?

You were in Israeli History Research Class.

What's Israel to you?

Israeli History Research Class.

Not everyone can get into this.

Finally, her grades.

A+ in art class.

I can't say it.

What am I saying?

How chic...

Other friends are like "I love you," "Let's keep in touch,"

"I'll never forget you," "Good luck with everything..."

"I'm too chic to say I lov..."

"I can't say it."

It's nothing... Don't make a fuss about it.

- There's a letter. / - Yes.

What's this?

That's your nickname?

- Yes, "Jewelry Gangju." / - Jewelry Gangju.

Full of jewelry.

What's that?

A chalk case!

- And color chalks. / - Right.

So lovely as always.

Very pretty.

Dear my teacher.

Hi, I'm Suzy.

I should have called,

but I was too busy living. I'm so sorry.

I'm glad I got a chance to come meet you.

I'll be cheerful as always

and hope to see you more often.

Thank you so much. I love you. From Suzy.

It's not much...

Sorry to keep you waiting.

You aren't expecting me to eat all 4 bowls.

- 3 are for us. / - I know.

Sit in the middle.

- Should I sit there, mom? / - Yes.

It's time Yeongja got real daughters...

I didn't know she was that old.

Don't say that.

Help yourself.

Soups are not yet served?

Mom made them herself.

Soup?

I wanted you serve you a meal.

I can live without sauce.

Being sincere is the sauce.

I'm sorry it's not perfect.

It was a joke.

It would have been better with some sauce.

Much better.

Let me cut you a sesame leaf.

I can manage.

Funny...

I'm not used to these things.

Her hands were up to here.

- Mom wrote a letter to you. / - Right.

It's there?

Let me bring it out.

I don't care about the content.

I'm embarrassed as much as you are.

Why did you put it there?

Because it's a letter from my heart.

But that's your armpit.

Mom...

I thought it was a money envelope.

$20,000.

Dear my mentor...

I respect you so much that

I can't even step on your shadow.

I was so devastated when I failed at my 8th audition

that I was about to give up everything,

but you encouraged me to carry on

and follow my dreams.

When I had hard times due to my mistake,

I tried to hide from the world

but you were always there for me.

Thanks for giving my courage and

hope to carry on one more time.

You're never about giving-up.

You're always about hopes and dreams.

You don't call when I'm successful,

but only when I'm at my hard times,

and share my sorrow and pain.

I want to be like you to my dear junior colleagues.

My forever mentor, take care of your health

and remain as a bright lamp for us.

Thank you so much and I love you.

Mom's like a little girl...

Let me put in back there.

Give it to me. It's mine now.

I got some spellings wrong.

Let me keep it at home and tell people it's from you.

I'll give money instead.

It's a one and only letter.

Wrong spelling.

How does it feel?

People ask me if my students visit me often,

but often-visitors are the not busy ones.

I feel more proud when I see them through TV.

I can always see them on TV.

That's what's important to me.

For the last time... I'll make a deep bow to you.

It's the last time we meet?

Yes.

I'm so embarrassed.

Just don't do it.

- I don't want to miss this chance. / - No, don't do it.

Then I'll do it towards the wall.

- Just once. / - I can't stand it.

Will you do it together for me?

Thank you for giving us endless love.

- I hope you... / - I can't stand it.

Hope your life is always plentiful like Chuseok.

Yes, your face is like full-moon.

Half-moon plus half-moon equals a full-moon.

Take care. Thank you.

It's embarrassing.

Okay, thank you.

Thanks for coming all the way to Cheongdo.

Next time, I'll be further away.

AFTERMATH | Season 1 Finale: 'Eeny, meeny, miny, moe' | Syfy - Duration: 3:15.

- That sounds nice.

Do you miss the farm?

- I think about it, I suppose.

My dreams.

And Brianna loved it.

- Family meeting outside now.

- What? What for?

- You know what for.

You're not who you say you are.

- What's that supposed to mean?

- Get out of the car.

- Okay. You're cracking up.

Let's go talk about it.

- Not you. Stay in the car.

- Forget it.

- It's not a choice.

Stay in the car if you want to live.

- Not without him.

- Look, Bree,

you're right.

This is very hard for you.

I get that.

You've had your older brother

looking out for you all your life.

You never had to share me with anyone except maybe Dana.

But you always ran over her.

Now you have to share me with somebody else?

That can't be easy,

especially for you.

You always had to be the center of attention.

- No, I don't.

- This is the woman

I fell in love with.

She's part of the family now.

I'll still always be there for you,

but I'm with her too.

She's amazing, by the way.

But you just don't know her yet.

She's gonna change our family.

She's gonna make it better.

I promise.

Give me the gun.

[gun cocks]

- You're not Matt. You're a shifter.

But you're smarter. - What's a shifter?

- This is not a good time for Brianna drama.

- What are you doing? - Back off, Sarah!

- It's cool, sweetie. - It's not cool.

He's dangerous. He'll kill you.

- Well, that is the worst shit that I've ever heard.

Put down the gun.

- He's not my brother! I know my brother!

- Bree!

Matt!

Matt, what are you doing?

[gasping, panting]

- [screams]

[both grunting]

- [screams]

- [growls] - [screams]

[gunshot]

- Oh, my god.

Matt?

- How could you think this was me?

- What do you mean?

It was your girlfriend!

Ugh!

- We can't find our way home,

so we're evolving.

Soon you won't be able to kill us.

- Good thing the end of the world's today, then, huh?

[gunshot]

Worse Than An Itchy Christmas Sweater | Holiday Update Spectacular - Duration: 6:26.

Hi it's Emily from Bite Size Vegan and welcome to a special Christmas—or Hanukah or Kwanza

or festive atheism or holiday season or Wenesday—vegan nugget.

Welcome back.

I thought for today's holiday video I'd change things up and film outside in the beautiful

snow.

Then I remembered it's Iowa and my face would fall off if I was out there too long.

But don't worry!

With this magic board behind me, the only limits are our imaginations!

Okay there may be other limits.

So today, I wanted to make a year in review video, looking back at all that's happened

with Bite Size Vegan in 2016.

And to be honest I meant to do one of those last year as well.

I mean that's what Bite Size Vegan's about, right?

Condensing complex information into engaging bite size nuggets.

Veganism simplified.

Simplified but not reductionist.

It's a tall order because there is so very much that needs to be said, so very many who

need to be heard and so very, very little time.

I wanted to capture the whole of this year, try to distill it down to the highlights and

key points.

Leave you with the main take-aways and resources.

As well as of course linking to the holiday-specific videos, like the Vegan Christmas recipe playlist,

Holiday Survival Guide, Twas the Night before Christmas Vegan Remake, and more.

They're all below and up in the sidebar.

And maybe—even in a small way—convey some sense of what this year's been like for

me as well—because it's been quite a year.

It was the first year without Ooby, the heart and soul of Bite Size Vegan.

In addition to the weekly content, I've written and delivered speeches throughout

the United States, Canada, Portugal, Ireland and England.

I've visited slaughterhouses around the world, looked into the eyes of hundreds of

living, breathing, sentient beings moments before being murdered.

I've heard their screams.

The channel has grown, the views and comments and messages and emails increased.

But it's also taken a hit with YouTube's ongoing subscription and notification issues

which continue to persist even now.

And when one of the speeches started to take off, YouTube censored it against their own

policies.

All the while the backlog of tasks has continued to mount.

So it's because of what a year it's been that I don't have that video for you today.

The administrative and foundational work behind the scenes of Bite Size Vegan has expanded

to such an extent that the videos have become an afterthought by necessity.

The very core of Bite Size Vegan itself.

I tried to make a simple outline of the workload and various projects and areas taking so much

time away from the videos, but kept ending up with something out of A Beautiful Mind.

That's ridiculous.

Let me try to bust out a big picture view…

One of the main time sucks...that does not sound holiday cheery at all….

Is team-building.

Bringing on a team of volunteers is a priority, but before opening that door, I need to have

a system in place for how to match people with the various projects and iron out communication

and the like or I'd be spending the same amount of time or more managing that I am

now with the projects themselves.

So that takes time and is super boring.

I'm sorry.

Here's a cute pig.

With a hat!

Part of building the team is finding the best formal structure for Bite Size Vegan going

forwards.

And that is a lot of paperwork, consulting, phone calls, emails, legal stuff and look

a cow!

With snow boots!

It's a cow… just go with it.

Within all of this are a bunch of other subtasks and whatnot, but let's not slide back into

the beautiful mind moment….

One of the sub-projecty things recently busted out was a total re-vamp of the Nugget Army

page on Patreon.

It's been on my list for many months, and when Patreon asked to feature Bite Size Vegan

as a "creator of the week," it gave me the kick in the pants I needed.

So after a good month or so of ___, with the indespensible assistance of Bite Size Team

helper extraordinare Andrea (she's from ze Germany, So dass ich manchmal Deutsch sprechen

kann, aber normalerweise nicht, da wir über Sachen reden, die mir auf Englisch sogar verwirrend

sind), as well as some stellar page-proofing from patrons Steph and Kris, the page now

has greater specificity of goals, updated description and even an infographic of where

the pledges go that I'll be updating as we go along, and improving as I find better

ways to quantify with clarity the highly variable nature of Bite Size Vegan.

Wow!

This is such a festive video!

Look!

Holiday stuff I made when I was more appropriate with my video timing!

So this wasn't the holiday special or retrospective I wanted to make.

And I may still give the year in review a go…but I wanted to at least give you a glimpse

into what's been going on behind the scenes, and why I'm more absent from social media,

even slower to reply (if I even do), and releasing far less content than I have in the years

of Bite Size Vegan.

This is all with the long-term in mind of reaching more and more people with more and

more free education.

I want to thank all of you for every single view, comment, thumbs up thingy, and especially

for sharing the videos and utilizing them as resources and teaching tools.

Thank you for your stories of how the videos have sparked change in your life.

Thank you for remaining open to change.

Thank you for being patient with me through the growth pains and all of my flaws, failures,

and missteps.

I never cease to be amazed at hearing how the videos and speeches have reached people

around the world.

I can't wait to get back to focusing on content production.

There are so very, very many topics on the list, and so much more to cover.

So happy whatever the heck you may celebrate or not.

(that would make a great card).

Do see the description for resources.

And bear with me a bit longer through this phase of growth.

If you want to be a part of the behind the scenes messiness (because this makes it seem

so exciting!), come join us in the Nugget Army.

We're pretty cool…

okay they're pretty cool.

Oh look it's snowing!

Now go live vegan this holiday season, and I'll see you soon.

These are videos.

They're also linked down there.

Oh my god it's hot!

TOP KNOT WITH FAUX BANGS | 4 EASY STEPS HAIR TUTORIAL | VANITY BOX HAIR - Duration: 5:05.

TIFF Benson here welcome back to my

Channel today we're going to be talking

about how to get this top knot look with

faux bangs using the Vanity Box Hair - clip in bangs. i absolutely love the Vanity Box Hair I

think clip in bangs are so beautiful and today I'm

going to show you how to get faux bangs so make

sure to subscribe this is your first

time here and also give this video a big

thumbs up

you know it really helps me let's get

into the video alright love so look at

my hair it is super big poofy realness

right here for you

first I'm going to start by using my

denman brush i love this brush for my

curly hair i use it to detangle in the

shower and once my hair is dry i also

like to use it to secure really tight

ponytails

so right now I'm making sure that I'm

smoothing all my hair to the top of my

head so I can have a really high top not

i'm using the outlets crunches by 30

their number 14 ponytail holders i

absolutely love them you can get a

really tight knot and if you even wanted

it tighter you could use to and know

that your hair is not going to get

tangled or break in these ponytails so

i'm using the creme of nature argan oil

edge control and i just want to get all

over my edges so i can get these suckers

laid and then I'm just going to brush

that out with might on your brush so i'm

using a natural bristle toothbrush to

get those teeny tiny baby hears that

just won't stay put

lay down baby hairs

alright so now I'm just coming out this

fall bang which i absolutely love this

is real hair i purchased it from the

vanity box super super cute i love that

it has three clips to secure the bank

and and you're good to go

alright so finally moving on to getting

this top not together i'm going to be

using 100-percent castor oil to make

sure i get a slick look to my dry ends

especially when you're doing a topknot

you want to make sure that your hair is

moisturize so that it looks sleek and

pretty

there's many ways to do a topknot i'm

going to twist out my hair first because

i feel it works best for me especially

when I start to twist it around my head

so once I finally twisted out my hair

then I'm going to take my finger and

grab the twist around and down once i

get it to the way I wanted to look I've

been secured with two hairpin yes honey

so now it's time to seduce and destroy

to complete this look I wanted to focus

on my lips and i'm using a matte lip

stain the color is called santafe and

it's a matte lip by nikka k its

beautiful i love it all the items used

here will be in the description box will

make sure to check that out

so this completes the final look I hope

that you enjoyed this video of my

topknot with a faux bangs clip in bangs w/the Vanity Box Hair make sure to

share it with your friends and give it a

big thumbs up thanks for watching and

I'll catch you in the next video
