10 Editing Mistakes In Popular Superhero Movies That Went Unnoticed

Mistakes happen in any line of work.

We live with them, we move on.

The world of movies is no different.

The editing process is susceptible to errors just like any other.

Unfortunately for the people behind these errors, the evidence is permanently etched

into movie history once the movie in question is released.

That's not to say it's an unforgivably bad thing, or something we should complain about

relentlessly... it's just... well, it's just a thing!

If anything, it gives us something to look out for and talk about!

So that's what we're going to do here!

Enjoy the video and subscribe to our channel for more of the same.

Here are ten editing mistakes in popular superhero movies that went unnoticed.

The Avengers Let's start with a funny one.

In 2012's The Avengers, the final battle sees the titular team of superheroes taking on

the Chitauri army led by Loki in New York City - and it's a scene involving the God

of Mischief that we're talking about here.

When Tom Hiddleston's character catches an arrow fired at him by Hawkeye, his other hand

is supposed to be resting on the handle of the Chitauri flyer he's riding on.

However, the movie's special effects team failed to actually add the handle, so Loki's

hand is actually resting on nothing.

Superman Returns 2006's Superman Returns really wasn't very

good.

It wasn't awful, but hardly anything truly exciting happened!

That being said, the one truly exciting scene was the one we're including here because of

an editing mistake it contained.

It's the scene in which Superman stops the aeroplane from crashing into the baseball

field.

After he's safely put the plane on the field, there's a wide shot in which Superman, the

plane and baseball players can all be seen - all of which cast shadows onto the pitch

except Superman himself.

Captain America: Civil War At the end of 2016's Captain America: Civil

War, Helmut Zemo, Tony Stark, Steve Rogers, Bucky Barnes and T'Challa end up at a HYDRA

base in Siberia.

Most of the action takes place inside the base itself, but there is a scene outside

- and it's when Zemo and T'Challa interact.

Siberia's freezing, right?

So it's pretty strange that nobody's breath is visible.

Clearly the scene wasn't filmed in a freezing location, but you would think that the breath

would have been edited in for the purpose of authenticity.

The Amazing Spider-Man 2012's The Amazing Spider-Man was actually

teaming with editing mistakes, but none were more noticeable - or, frankly, more hilarious

- than this one.

In the scene on the subway when Peter Parker has just acquired his powers and is unable

to control them, he inadvertently gets into a fight with a number of his fellow passengers.

One of them - a black man - uses Parker's own skateboard as a weapon but, out of nowhere,

he changes into a white guy wearing totally different clothes!

That's some pretty poor scene-chopping right there!

Doctor Strange In 2016's Doctor Strange, Benedict Cumberbatch's

titular character is involved in a terrible car crash that wrecks his body, including

his all-important fingers, which ruins his career as a surgeon, prompting him to go on

a journey that leads to him becoming a sorcerer.

When he's training with Karl Mordo, after he gets knocked down, you can briefly see

Strange's fingers.

In the shot in question, his fingers are in perfect condition and appear unharmed.

However, at this point, he is still badly maimed and you see this again afterwards.

Deadpool 2016's Deadpool was so much fun that, frankly,

it could have made some huge editing errors and we'd have been happy to let it get away

with them.

This one was only small, however, but it's notable enough to point out.

In the scene in which Colossus is sent flying by a punch from Angel Dust, everyone in the

background - apart from Deadpool, that is - appears to be frozen in time, with one of

them even frozen whilst in the middle of a stepping motion.

X-Men: Apocalypse Here's one for the video game geeks out there.

X-Men: Apocalypse wasn't great.

The 2016 installment in the X-Men movie franchise received some of the worst reviews since the

series began back in 2000 - and careless errors like this one won't have helped its cause

one bit!

When Evan Peters' Quicksilver is playing Ms. Pac-Man at home, the titular character he's

controlling dies.

However, the sound effect is that of the original Pac-Man dying, and not Ms. Pac-Man at all.

Guardians of the Galaxy Guardians of the Galaxy was so good that it

seems like a huge shame to pick fault with any of the 2014 space epic!

This happened, however, so we're going to talk about it!

On the Nova Corps planet of Xandar, when Gamora is trying to get her hands on the Orb Infinity

Stone, she jumps down from a walkway to the level below.

She clearly lands with both feet close to each other, but when the camera quickly cuts

further away, she's practically doing

the splits.

Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice Oh Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice, how

you disappointed us!

The 2016 offering just didn't live up to expectations - and there were also a number of editing

errors in the movie.

A couple of those occurred in the scene in which Wonder Woman is looking at the email

sent to her by Bruce Wayne.

First of all, the total size of the email's content is shown to be 24 megabytes, but when

you see the sizes of the four individual files it contains, it should be closer to 800 megabytes.

Moreover, when Diana slides her finger to the left on the touchpad, the cursor actually

moves to the right.

Suicide Squad In 2016's Suicide Squad, one of the titular

team's surprise big-guns was Diablo, who was played by Jay Hernandez.

Diablo had a huge fiery form that he used to take on Incubus in the movie's final battle,

but just prior to that happening, there was an editing error.

Diablo had just been knocked away by the villain, and the scythe tattoo on his forehead appeared

to switch from facing his right to his left, which means that the image was mirrored for

some reason.

I UNDERSTAND THAT STRATEGY, BUT AT THE SAME TIME YOU HAVE

YOU GET IT FROM DOING THE WRONG THING.

WE ARE HARDWIRED TO THINK KILLING SOMEONE ELSE IS THE

WRONG THING.

SOME PEOPLE GOT PTSD FROM BEING IN BATTLE, AND SOME GET IT

FROM KILLING SOMEONE.

EVEN IF IT WAS JUSTIFIED.

WE ARE NOT BUILT FOR THAT.

LET'S BE A LITTLE BIT MORE DECENT TO EACH OTHER.

IN THIS CASE IT IS KIND OF A LAYUP.

FAIR IS FAIR, WHEN I WAS A KID I HAD A LOT OF TOY GUNS.

BUT I AM NOT GOING TO LET MY SON HAVE A GUN, THE REASON IS

IT IS DIFFERENT TIMES.

IN THIS COUNTRY, YOU DON'T WANT ANY MISUNDERSTANDINGS.

IT HAPPENS ALL THE TIME.

86 TIMES IN THE LAST TWO YEARS ALONE THOUGHT IT IS AMAZING.

BY THE WAY THE MAJORITY, WHITE MALES, BUT THE COUNTRY IS

MORE WHITE OF COURSE.

THERE IS NOT AS MUCH DISCRIMINATION THERE IN A

DISPROPORTIONATE WAY AS WE HAVE SEEN IN OTHER STORIES.

SO THAT IS NOT THE ISSUE.

THE ISSUE IS WE HAVE COPS COMING IN, EVERYONE HAS GUNS, THAT

LOOKS LIKE A GUN, AND SOMETIMES WHEN SOMEONE IS MENTALLY

ILL THEY DON'T LISTEN TO ORDERS, AND AFTER A WHILE IF THEY

TURN AROUND AND POINT THE GUN THEY SHOOT HIM.

ONE WAY TO AVOID THAT IS TO MAKE TOY GUNS ñ

AND IN OTHER CASES SHOW A LITTLE BIT MORE RESTRAINT.

TAMIR RICE, SHOT IN TWO SECONDS.

HE WAS A 12-YEAR-OLD

BLACK KID IN CLEVELAND AT A PARK PLAYING WITH A TOY GUN.

THE OTHER THING YOU CAN DO IS JUST GIVE IT A SECOND.

LIKE IN THE CASE OF TAMIR RICE, JUST ASK HIM IF IT IS A TOY

GUN, HE WOULD'VE TOLD YOU.

>>I WANT TO BE CLEAR ABOUT SOMETHING, 86 CASES OF

PEOPLE WHO DIDN'T HAVE REAL GUNS GETTING SHOT AND KILLED BY COPS.

BASED ON THE DESCRIPTION OF THE STORIES I READ, THEY WERE

NOT CASES LIKE THAT.

THEY KEPT REPEATEDLY ASKING THE PERSON TO DROP THE GUN,

COMPLY, THEY WOULDN'T, AND THEN THEY THOUGHT THEY WERE IN

IMMINENT HARM WHICH IS WHY THEY FIRED THEIR WEAPON.

>>EVERY CASE IS DIFFERENT.

THAT IS WHY WE HAVE TO ATTACK IT FROM BOTH SIDES.

Jeep Wrangler Russell Brake Line Kit (2007-2012 JK) Review - Duration: 6:24.

I'm Ryan from extremeterrain.com and this is my review of the Russell Brake Line Kit,

fitting all 2007 to 2012 JKs.

There are a couple of different versions of this kit available in different lengths.

So there's a kit for those of you with 0 to 1 inches of lift, 1 to 4 inches of lift, and

4 to 6 inches of lift.

So make sure you get the right one for your Jeep.

Today we are going to talk through the installation of this brake line kit, which is a very simple

one out of three wrenches.

These are going to bolt directly in place of your factory soft lines.

You will have to bleed out the brake system because you'll be opening it up and introducing

air into the system.

We're also going to talk through the construction and a few of the features of these lines.

A new set of brake lines like this are for those of you who have a lift on your Jeep,

who like to go wheeling with your front sway bar disconnected and need a little bit of

additional brake line length so the brake lines don't get pulled taut and, God forbid,

break on the trail, having you lose your brakes.

Now, when you do install a lift kit, a lot of those kits will come with extended brake

line brackets.

And in the rear of the Jeep, it's very easy to lower down the hard line where it mounts

onto the frame to give you a little bit of additional length out of your factory soft

lines.

However, up front, if you do end up using one of those relocation brackets, you generally

have to straighten out your factory pre-bent hard lines, which isn't something I personally

like to do.

So I always recommend getting a good set of extended soft brake lines to give you that

additional brake line length that you need, and you won't have any worries on the trail

if you are going to pull a line tight.

As far as the construction goes, these are a braided, stainless steel brake line with

a rubber coating on the outside to just provide a little bit of additional abrasion resistance.

Now, often times people will say that they get a nicer pedal feel out of a stainless

brake line because it doesn't expand like a rubber soft brake line will when you're

hitting the brakes.

And while that may be true, I think a lot of that additional pedal feel that people

get when they do put on a new set of soft brake lines like this is just bleeding out

the old fluid in the system and getting some good, fresh, clean fluid in.

Either way, while you have your system apart, this is a great time to do a brake flush.

You're going to give yourself the best possible pedal feel and make sure that your brake lines

have a nice, long life by keeping fresh fluid in there.

Brake fluid does absorb water from the air.

It will get water into it, which then can boil when your brakes heat up or just give

you a bit of a sloppy pedal feel.

So again, changing out to these new brake lines and also doing a brake fluid flush and

getting all of the air out of your system at the same time is going to give you a good,

strong pedal feel.

But having a brake line set like this, again, is really for those of you who are off-roading

and need that additional length.

All of the other benefits that you might get are fringe benefits.

This kit is really complete.

It comes with brackets that are going to go in place of your factory brackets on your

frame.

It comes with the clips to hold your bracket line into those brackets.

It has a factory-style block on the other end.

This does come with the crush washers to make sure that everything gets nice and tight without

any leaks.

So it is a very, very complete kit.

Now, this kit is going to be a little bit more expensive than some of the other ones

on the market.

And when I take a look at the other ones that have all of the same features, have all the

same brackets and the clips and the crush washers, there isn't too much of a difference

that I can find between those kits that are $40 less than this and this kit here.

All I can say is that Russell does make a really high-quality product.

These are a very well-built set of brake lines.

However, there are other ones that appear to be as well-built and will save you a couple

of dollars.

As for the installation, as I mentioned before, this is a simple one out of three wrench installation

that you can get done in under two hours.

And that does include bleeding out the brakes.

All you'll need to do to get this installed is to disconnect your factory soft brake lines

from the brake calipers and from the hard lines, disconnect the factory brake line bracket

off of your frame, install your new brake line bracket, install your new brake line,

and finally install the clips that are included with this setup.

Again, make sure you use the new crush washers that do come with this kit to make sure that

you don't have any leaks.

Once all of that is done, it's a simple matter of bleeding out your brakes and that can be

done in a variety of different ways.

From the traditional two-person method of having somebody sit in the Jeep and pump the

brakes while somebody else works the bleeder, you can use a gravity bleed method as long

as you keep your fluid reservoir nice and full, or of course, you can use a pressure

or a vacuum bleeder.

It's up to you.

No matter how you decide to do it, as long as you're getting fresh fluid in the system

and getting all of the air out, you're gonna have a nice, hard pedal feel.

So as far as tools necessary to get this done, just your traditional hand tools are going

to be necessary but make sure that you have some DOT 3 brake fluid with you as well.

And depending on your method of brake bleeding, you might need an extra set of hands or a

bleeder.

As I mentioned before, this set of brake lines does come in right around $200, which is a

little bit more than some of the other systems on the market.

Now, those other brake lines, they also look to be well-built.

They'll include your brackets, your clips, your crush washers.

So if you like the Russell name, if you're comfortable with these, if you do feel more

comfortable spending a little bit more money because this is a brake component and you

wanna feel like you're getting the best one on the market, then these are certainly available.

However, if you do wanna save yourself $40 and go with one of the slightly less expensive

kits that still includes the stainless steel lines, all of your brackets, all of your clips,

all of your washers, those ones are going to work very well also.

So if you do take your JK off-road and you wanna have a little bit of additional brake

line length to ensure that you're not going to pull a brake line taut while you're flexing

with those sway bars disconnected, this set of brake lines is going to give you that additional

length and be very well-built, including all of the components you'll need.

So that's my review of the Russell Brake Line Kit, fitting all 2007 to 2012 JKs, that you

can find right here at extremeterrain.com.

Jeep Wrangler Rugged Ridge Spartacus Front Bumper Kit (2007-2017 JK) Review & Install - Duration: 8:45.

I'm Ryan from extremeterrain.com, and this is my review and installation of the Rugged

Ridge Spartacus Front Bumper, fitting all 2007 and up JKs.

This bumper is available as you see it here with just the bumper.

It's also available with a winch plate or an overrider hoop, and you can get all of

those pieces individually if you wanna piece the bumper together slowly.

Today, we're gonna talk through the installation of this bumper, which I am going to give a

two out of three wrenches.

This bumper does have a few more parts and pieces than your average aftermarket front

bumper, and if you decide to reuse your factory crush cans, which is an option, you will have

to do some cutting.

As well as if you're installing the winch mounting plate, you will have to cut off the

factory vacuum pump mounting brackets.

We're also going to talk through the construction and a few of the other features of this bumper.

This is for those of you who are looking for a bumper that's a little bit different.

Most bumpers on the market today are cut steel pieces that are welded together, and sometimes

those welds are rounded out to give the bumper a little bit more style.

However, this here is a stamped steel bumper.

This bumper is stamped out of a few pieces of flat steel, which gives it a much more

unique look than some of the other bumpers on the market.

It also makes it lighter weight and may also affect the amount of protection that it provides

a little bit.

This isn't going to protect quite as well as one of those plate steel bumpers.

However, the plastic insert pieces that are here, here, and if you have the winch block-off

plate in the middle, do give the bumper a certainly more unique look.

And this is more of a convertible bumper.

You can take these corners off very easily.

They're designed to come off very easily when you go wheeling.

If, when you disconnect your sway bar, you need a little bit more clearance between your

front tires and your bumper, you can do that, but you can also put those corners back on

when you're on the street to offer a little bit more protection to the front corners of

your fenders.

Now, all of that convertibility, all of the options, the fact that this is stamped steel

and the fact that this is a newer-style bumper on the market all add up to a little bit of

a higher price tag.

So if you have the budget for it and you're looking for the options that this bumper affords,

this is an awesome option.

However, if you don't have the budget for this bumper or if you're not into all the

plastic that's on the front of it...which I know a lot of you are swapping out your

factory bumper because you don't want the plastic...then maybe this isn't the bumper

for you.

There are plenty of other Rugged Ridge bumpers that are all steel as well as many other brands

on the website if you're interested in those instead.

Like I said before, this is a stamped steel bumper, and it's stamped out of 11-gauge steel.

This is finished in a satin black powder coat finish, which is a little bit different from

that textured black powder coat that you see on a lot of other aftermarket front bumpers,

and I really like this finish.

Now, a few things that make this bumper unique.

First off, as I alluded to before, this does have quite a bit of plastic on the front.

This bumper does allow you to reuse your factory fog lights, but they get mounted in these

large plastic pieces that are on either side of the main center section of the bumper.

There are also additional vented plastic pieces that go on the outer corners of the bumper,

and if you have the winch block-off plate, this piece in the middle here, is also a plastic

piece.

For those of you who don't like all the plastic, I understand that.

Maybe that's why you're trying to get an aftermarket bumper, to get away from the plastic, so maybe

this bumper wouldn't be for you.

But for those of you who like the style that this affords because this is a very unique

style, then this is going to be a good option for you.

Aside from all the plastic pieces that are on the front bumper, this does have, as we

said before, removable corners.

If you're running big tires and you need additional clearance off-road when you disconnect the

sway bars, you can pop these corners off.

Or you can not install them, even when you're on the road and just a little bit more of

mid-width bumper instead of a full-width bumper.

This bumper doesn't have any tow points or recovery points up on the front of it, which

makes sense because this is a stamped steel bumper.

It doesn't quite have the strength of those plate steel bumpers, but this will allow you

to reuse your factory tow hooks.

They'll come up right through these cutouts.

On the inside here, you use those again when you're reinstalling this bumper, so you do

have those hooks and you do have those recovery points.

I personally prefer a D-ring or a shackle mount.

I like the D-rings because, when you attach a tow strap, a snatch strap, a winch line

to it, you know that that's not going to come undone.

With these hooks, especially if you're using something like a snatch strap that's designed

to have some slack in it and then be pulled tight and have that elastic pull, then there's

always a chance that that loop is going to pop off of a hook like this.

So I always prefer a D-ring mount.

It really comes down to what you like and how you're using your Jeep.

As I mentioned before, this is available in a few different configurations.

You can get it with just the bumper that comes with a block-off plate.

You can also purchase a winch mounting plate that is separate, and if you're installing

that, you won't have this plastic center section here.

Of course, you also won't have the plastic block-off plate that goes on the top of the

bumper, and you'll be installing your winch plate between the frame rails and then installing

the bumper over top of that.

Bumper is also available with an overrider hoop, or you can purchase an overrider hoop

separately that will mount right onto the top here.

It is designed to bolt directly onto the bumper as well, making for a really easy installation.

Speaking of installation, I am giving this a two out of three wrenches, which is a little

bit more difficult than your traditional aftermarket front bumper.

That being said, if all you're doing is installing the front bumper, no winch plate, and you're

not reusing the factory crush cans from the factory front bumper...which is optional.

You don't have to reuse those...then this does become easier.

Then there's no cutting.

It's just installing brackets and installing the bumper, which is a fairly simple process.

However, if you are installing the winch plate, you are going to have to cut off your factory

vacuum pump mounting brackets.

And if you are installing the factory crush cans, then, of course, you're going to have

to cut those out of your factory bumper and reuse them on the installation, making this

much more difficult.

Either way, the bumper is going to install with brackets that attach it onto the front

frame rails.

You are going to be reusing your factory tow hooks.

One nice thing about this bumper is you'll remove your factory fog lights out of your

factory bumper, put them in this new bumper, and this does come with extension wires to

make your factory wiring harness reach those fog lights without the need to cut wire and

make up your own harness.

Everything comes right with the bumper.

So as I said before, it could be a slightly more difficult install than your traditional

aftermarket front bumper, depending on which options you're going with.

If you're just installing the bumper without the crush cans, you can probably get this

done in about an hour, just like any other aftermarket front bumper.

If you are installing a couple of the different options, crush cans, or a winch mount, you

are going to have do a little bit more cutting.

You're probably gonna be closer to the two-hour mark, and you are, of course, going to need

some cut-off tools.

If you're not doing one of those installs that requires cutting, you can get away with

just traditional hand tools.

As I said before, this bumper is a little bit pricey for just a front bumper.

You do get a unique style, and you get the ability to customize the bumper a little bit.

This is almost like Rugged Ridge's XHD Modular line because the corners come off, you can

get the overrider hoop, you can get it with or without the winch.

It is more customizable.

However, what that customization means is a little bit higher price tag.

That along with the fact that this is a newer way of building a bumper, and it is a unique

design.

This is going to be more expensive than some of the others on the market.

It's not the most expensive front bumper we offer.

However, it is a little bit more expensive than some of the others.

So again, it really comes down to what you're looking for.

If you like the adjustability of this, you like the ability to take the corners off,

the overrider hoop, kind of customize it to what you want and you like the look that the

stamped steel gives you, then from a build perspective, I'd say this is absolutely worth

it.

However, I know that this isn't going to be for all of you.

Some of you aren't going to like all the plastic on this bumper and would say it's overpriced

for a mostly plastic bumper.

So if you're looking for a unique front bumper that gives you some ability to customize it

and you like the unique look that these plastic insert pieces give you, I would say this is

a really nice option to take a look at.

If you don't like the look of the plastic and you want something that's a little bit

more traditional, like a regular plate steel bumper, Rugged Ridge offers those as well

as a lot of other options.

So that's my review of the Rugged Ridge Spartacus Front Bumper, fitting all 2007 and up JKs,

that you can find right here at extremeterrain.com.
