Youtube daily Mar 10 2017

Tuesday the world caught a rare glimpse into the operations of the CIA thanks to WikiLeaks.

You probably heard that the CIA developed over a thousand pieces of software designed

to secretly spy on you through your phone or TV.

They even had been working on ways to trick forensics experts into thinking that the Russians

were behind any of their work.

The story barely made it through the 24-hour news cycle before it was buried under the

latest goofy thing Trump said.

Collectively, it was like we all decided that we already knew the CIA was violating our

privacy so we should just move along and that is troubling.

There are no protests on college campuses, there are no groups knocking on Congressmen's

doors over this, and no protests outside of the CIAs headquarters in Fairfax, Virginia.

There is no media outrage, demanding further investigation – because freedom and privacy

are no longer values that we expect in this country.

We'll rally for political correctness and jump on the latest gaffe of any public figure

but won't stand up for our Constitution.

The First and Fourth Amendments simply aren't important to Americans any more.

Maybe it is facebook or the saturation with media that have made us numb to these types

of intrusions into our lives.

We react to our government's spying on citizens and reporters with a shrug of the shoulders.

You know, The framers of our nation saw fit to make the freedom of speech and of the press

the VERY first thing they addressed in the Bill of Rights.

They saw the British government's repressive censorship as absolutely contrary to the basic

tenants of this new Democratic Republic.

They knew a critical press was crucial to keep government from growing too powerful

and turning on the public – but we felt very little when the NSA seized the AP's

phone records with Eric Holder's blessing.

Thomas Jefferson would be LIVID.

240 years is a relatively short time to go from fighting a brutal war on our own soil

for our freedom to surrendering our basic rights without so much as a whimper.

So how in the world did we get here?

I remember growing up, that my Dad and my Catholic school teachers would all threaten

that if I did something wrong, they were going to put it in my "permanent record."

That struck fear in my heart.

If I talked back to a teacher, I thought I would never be able to live it down.

My principal, the college admissions office, even my future boss would read about it, or

so I feared.

But now, we will freely share every detail of our personal lives online.

With the First Amendment on life support, college campuses are banning speakers because

they speak radically.

If we don't agree with someone, we want to shut them up.

Look, I think people like Milo Yiannopoulos are disgusting – but I also believe they

have a right to speak.

However, instead of ignoring the bigot, they rally to censor him.

In the same way, the Supreme Court has time and time again protected privacy rights of

Americans, but we just don't care about that anymore.

If our IDENTITY is stolen, our social security number, credit card numbers, or personal data

are passed around the internet – we've gotten so used to it that we call the bank

or go online and get a small settlement from a store.

We don't care that there are entire websites on the darkweb where people can pay $19.99

(or its bitcoin equivalent) to access an easily searchable database of YOUR information.

Making matters worse, we KNOW that we can't trust the CIA with our information.

IT WAS LEAKED and according to the press release from WikiLeaks – this information was floating

around for months or years before they got ahold of it.

WikiLeaks actually showed restraint by redacting key lines of code out of the malicious software.

The ego of the CIA to first supersede the NSA and create all of these bulk spying tools

then not protect them is gravely irresponsible.

While we've seen that cybercriminals can shut down entire power grids and our own President

tells the world that we are trailing in "cyber" – we simply don't care that we've lost

track of dangerous weapons.

If the United States had a nuclear weapon go missing, it would DOMINATE the world news

for months.

There have been decades of treaties, guidelines, safeguards, and multinational talks to ensure

that these dangerous weapons don't fall into the wrong hands.

But, when dangerous tools that threaten our most basic of freedoms are found to be in

the hands of nefarious actors, we simply take the government's word that they are "looking

into it."

Our apathy to all of this is disturbing.

This goes WAY beyond blaming Trump or Obama.

We have to blame our very culture that has allowed our rights to be walked over at every

turn.

For our sake I hope someday soon we start looking at the real threats to our country.

These are the SAME tactics that the Soviets took against their citizens during the Cold

War.

Now, as our own government is waging a silent war on its citizens, we continue to blame

the Russians.

GODZILLA 2 Teaser + Kong Skull Island POST CREDITS Breakdown - Duration: 5:21.

Kong: Skull Island is the second movie in Legendary and Warner Bros' Godzilla and King

Kong MonsterVerse, and it features a cool scene right at the end of all the credits

with some exciting teases for the Godzilla sequel, King of the Monsters.

Yippee ki-yay movie lovers, it's Jan here, and in this video, I want to take a look at

what we can look forward to in Godzilla 2 based on the post-credits scene in Kong: Skull

Island and I'm also going to talk a bit about Godzilla vs Kong.

If you haven't seen Kong: Skull Island yet, there are spoilers ahead for that film plus

the Godzilla movies and Kong movies.

To avoid those, click here for my spoiler-free video of the movie and venture back here after

you've had a chance to see it!

OK, then, let's get stuck in: After all the credits have rolled, we see Tom Hiddleston

and Brie Larson, stuck in an interrogation room by themselves.

They seem to be talking to some mysterious unseen figures behind a two-way mirror and

they agree to pretend that Skull Island never existed and they never went there.

Corey Hawkins and Tian Jing then walk in and welcome Hiddleston and Larson to Monarch,

an organisation that covertly studies monsters like Godzilla.

The two Monarch staff then explain to Hiddleston and Larson that Skull Island is just the beginning

and that there are more monsters out there.

They warn that the world never belonged to humans, instead it belonged to the monsters,

and that the question is how long it will be before the monsters take it back.

Hawkins then reveals that "Kong is not the only King" and shows a set of files Monarch

has on other monsters.

This is when we get to see some cave paintings of Godzilla and three iconic kaiju; Rodan,

Mothra and King Ghidorah.

The final drawing shows Godzilla fighting the three-headed monster Ghidorah and, as

the screen fades to black, we hear the iconic Godzilla roar.

OK, let's look in more detail at this post-credits scene and what it means for the new MonsterVerse.

Rodan is a type of pteranodon that first appeared on the big screen in Toho Studios' 1956 movie

Rodan, and was initially a foe of Godzilla's in the 1964 movie "Ghidorah: The Three-Headed

Monster".

Mothra, as the name suggests, is a moth-like creature that has often been portrayed as

a saviour.

She's one of movie studio Toho's most popular kaiju and is surpassed only by Godzilla in

the number of movies that she's appeared in.

She went up against Godzilla in the 1964 movie Mothra vs Godzilla and also in 1992's Godzilla

vs Mothra, so it's quite possible we'll see her as an antagonist to Godzilla, at least

to start with, in Godzilla 2.

By the way, the 2014 Godzilla movie included a couple of Mothra easter eggs that already

teased the iconic kaiju.

Mothra's name appeared on some labels stuck together on an old dilapidated tank at Joe

and Ford's former home.

And there was a very heavy butterfly and moth theme going on in Ford's class the day the

nuclear plant went down.

The paintings of a dragon-like creature in the end credits are representations of King

Ghidorah.

Ghidorah was a powerful enemy of Godzilla, Mothra and Rodan when he first appeared in

Ghidorah: The Three-Headed Monster.

The idea for Ghidorah's multiple heads was inspired by a Japanese mythological eight-headed

creature.

In the 1964 Toho movie, the monstrous dragon is an extra-terrestrial being that hatches

from an egg which initially appeared to be a meteor.

Ghidorah attempts to take over the Earth until Mothra stands up to him, with Godzilla and

Rodan eventually deciding to team up with her to defeat Ghidorah and send him back to

space.

Other appearances of Ghidorah in Toho's movies have him under the control of aliens or time-travellers,

and there's one incarnation of him in which he's a heroic guardian monster that protected

Japan.

By the way, the 2014 Godzilla movie included a little easter egg to Ghidorah via a submerged

dragon head where the female MUTO had laid her eggs in San Francisco.

It'll be interesting to see how the Godzilla: King of the Monsters movie combines Godzilla,

Rodan and Mothra with King Ghidorah and whether it'll follow a similar path to the 1964 film

where they're against each other to begin with, until they decide to combine forces

to fight the bigger threat of King Ghidorah.

Kong: Skull Island also sets us up for the hopefully epic movie Godzilla vs Kong.

In Skull Island we meet an adolescent Kong who is already an impressive 100 foot tall,

but, at this size he would be very hard pressed to go up against Godzilla who is 350 foot

tall.

However, during Skull Island, John C Reilly's character Marlow mentions that Kong is still

growing and, as the film is set in 1973, that means that Kong still has over 40 years of

growth ahead of him before he meets Godzilla in 2020.

By the way, this won't be the first time that Kong and Godzilla have done battle on the

big screen; that was in the 1962 Japanese movie King Kong vs Godzilla, which featured

Kong getting stronger by absorbing electricity from various sources and appeared to end somewhat

inconclusively with the pair falling into the Ocean during a fight after which we only

see Kong re-emerge though the film's characters speculated that Godzilla survived.

Still, according to Toho, Kong was victorious.

And given that both Godzilla and Kong are anti-heroes, I imagine that at some point

they may still put their differences aside, at least temporarily, to fight a potentially

even bigger foe.

So, how hyped are you now for Godzilla 2: King of the Monsters and Godzilla vs Kong?

Do you think Godzilla will team up with Mothra and Rodan to battle King Ghidorah?

And who do think would win a fight between Godzilla and Kong?

Let me know your thoughts in the comments below.

egg videos and cool movie facts?!

How to Keep Food Warm When Transporting | Metro C5 T Series Insulated Mobile Heated Cabinet - Duration: 2:15.

Hi, I'm Jim Dube. I'm the product manager

for heating, holding, and transport cabinets. Specifically designed for

over-the-road transports. What's unique about this product is it's not

fiber-glass insulated. It's very well-insulated with

foam in-place insulation so we get

twice the R-value in that insulation.

It allows you to

maintain safe hot temperatures for five

hours or longer.

Once you unplug it and transport with it.

The second thing it does is make

it extremely durable. This cabinet is very

very strong, very durable. That foam

ties the inner and the outer shells...

inner and outer shells together. And then all the features of it. You have handles

and bumpers up top. So if I'm going over threshholds, i can pull those lean casters over

the thresholds. Flush doors--basically a recessed

door so that adds to the

structure of the cabinet. We have heavy-duty

hinges. Like I said--it's built for transport. It's built to move. We got these panels on the

side that're basically built-in handles. They help protect. They're built-in

body bumpers. And then

from a slide standpoint, we got different slides.

These are both adjustable slides. Have lip-loaded ones and bottom-loaded ones. Just showing different options here. Speed pans or sheet pans. Different depths.

A real unique thing that this cabinet does is--it's not plugged in right now

but it's got a battery backup. A battery-powered mobile power system.

It's gonna circulate that

air inside the cabinet so when I turn

it off... a regular cabinet... you turn it off,

the fan stops. So what you lose is

temperature consistency. And when I start

transporting after a couple hours. You know--the

top the top temperature and the bottom

temperature in the food can be up to 15 degrees

different so if this food's

approaching the danger zone,

that food may very well may be in there so

Thus being able to circulate the fan

is a real unique feature. It's a real great food safety feature.

10 Awesome Ways to Say, "Thank you!" in English - Duration: 2:41.

Hi Bob the Canadian here.

You probably already know how to say, "Thank you." and "You're welcome."

In this video though we're going to look at several more ways to say, "Thank you."

in English.

The English phrase, "Thank you." is obviously used to let someone know that you appreciate

something that they've done for you.

It comes in several versions.

The first version is a shorter version where you can use just the word:

Thanks.

So for instance you could say:

Thanks Dave for helping me change the tire on my car.

The next most common version is to say:

Thanks a lot.

Thanks a lot Dave for coming with me to pick up my friend from the airport.

There are two versions that are very similar.

You could say:

Thank you so much.

Or:

Thank you very much.

So for instance you could say:

Thank you so much Dave for helping me carry the groceries in from the car.

There's also a set of three phrases that are all very similar.

And they are:

Thanks a ton.

Thanks a bunch.

And

Thanks a million.

And they can be used to say things like:

Thanks a bunch Dave for helping me go to the woods and chop firewood.

There is also a phrase that is a little more formal.

You could say:

I am grateful.

Or:

I am so grateful.

For instance you could say:

I am so grateful for all the people that helped me train to run in the race last Saturday.

There's also times where you'll need to use, "Thank you."

or a form of thank you in a formal setting.

For instance if you were up front giving a speech where you've just won something you

would start by saying:

I would like to thank…..

And the shorter version being:

I'd to thank…

So you could say:

I'd like to thank my Mom and Dad for raising me right.

Well that's several ways to use, "Thank you."

in English and I want to just say:

Thank you!

To all the people who watch these videos and have subscribed to my channel.

Homework stalking, is when teachers assign homework on a computer, and then they watch you do your homework from their computer.

and the teacher, was still online, from when we were at school just an hour ago.
