2 Days & 1 Night - Season 3 : The Battle of Tongyeong 2 [ENG/2017.03.05] - Duration: 1:17:47.
(Battle of Tongyeong)
(Team Three Ge borrowed ten pears from the staff.)
(Trust me, my friends!)
(They make a huge bet regarding a dive.)
(The last battle takes place at Hansan Island.)
(One from each team goes against each other.)
(They place a bet on who they think will win.)
(Guess correctly and win twice the amount you bet.)
(Team Three Ge already lost two.)
(Siyoon is likely to win the second round.)
(Both teams bet that Siyoon will win.)
(Defconn realizes that he must answer incorrectly.)
(However, he guesses the right answer.)
(What?)
(Unlucky and dysfunctional)
(How will Team Three Ge get out of this mess?)
- Team Three Ge. / - No way.
- We keep on losing. / - This is unprecedented.
We lost all rounds.
We can't seem to break from this cycle of losing.
Let's see where it ends though.
- Sure. / - Let's go.
The next round is...
(The third mission of Battle of Hansan)
It's "Draw the Sword".
"Draw the Sword"?
(What will we be doing?)
Bring out the props.
- "Draw the Sword"? / - Look.
(A long sword enters.)
"Draw the Sword".
Is this the sword Admiral Yi Sunshin
- actually used? / - It might be.
- Hang on. / - At Hyeonchungsa Shrine,
- the sword is on display. / - Really?
The length of
the sword you're holding is 195cm,
and it weighs about 4kg.
This is a replica of the sword Admiral Yi
always had on display.
- That's amazing. / - It looks like it'll hurt.
Two with the same arm length will compete.
To be somewhat fair,
the two with the same arm length will play each other.
It's Jongmin versus Defconn.
(Defconn versus Jongmin)
- Mine are 4cm shorter. / - Please step forward.
It's now time to bet.
Have your eyes straight ahead.
- Don't do that. / - Gosh.
- Bet on them. / - What should we do?
Are you going all-in?
Well...
(Should we go all-in?)
(No, leave at least one.)
(They bet three on Defconn, their teammate.)
(Team Water bets one on Jongmin.)
Hang on. I wonder how they carried the sword.
- It's so big. / - Maybe like this.
Let me explain the game.
"Draw the Sword"
is a game where you draw and sheathe
the sword at your waist as quickly as possible.
Okay.
(Considering their arm length difference,)
(they hold the different part of the sword.)
Defconn, hold the part that is below the red line.
Ready or not, rock-paper-scissors.
Ready or not, rock-paper-scissors.
(Defconn wins.)
- I win. / - Jongmin can start.
We're going to measure the time.
Ready, go.
This will be hard.
- Draw it. / - You should keep holding it.
- The sword is too long for him. / - Keep holding it.
(It looks impossible.)
Watch your hand.
Hey.
(It's hard to keep the hand on it.)
He could get a cramp.
I don't think this is possible.
Watch your hand.
(He makes a retreat.)
(He stretches his arms.)
Are you trying to slash yourself?
(Laughing)
I don't think he can do it.
(Just a little more...)
- What is this? / - You're almost there.
It's coming out.
He looks like a crane.
He's using the crane strategy.
Crane strategy.
It looks like he has wings.
I believe I can fly
(He finally draws the sword.)
- Now, please sheathe it. / - Sheathe it.
Hold it up.
(Trembling)
(He looks like a ballerino.)
What is he doing?
(Is this even possible?)
(Struggling)
(He's almost crying.)
I'm getting cramps.
Be careful.
- My back! / - Watch out.
- It's a sword. It's dangerous. / - I got a cramp.
Your back is cramping up?
It worked!
(Almost there...)
- Go for it. / - He's holding the blade part.
(Jongmin finally made it.)
- Somehow my back hurts. / - My goodness.
It's going to be difficult.
Ready.
- What's Jongmin's record? / - I'll tell you later.
- Ready... / - What if Defconn draws it at once?
- It's a big sword. / - Ready, go.
(His arms aren't that long.)
(He looks even uglier.)
He's not even close.
- No. / - Keep your hand below the line.
You went too far up.
- Go that way. / - Hold it tight.
You know, this is not weightlifting.
(He looks like he's lifting weights.)
- It doesn't work. / - Hurry up.
- Hurry up. / - You're almost there.
- He made it. / - He made it.
(He manages to draw the sword.)
He made it.
- He made it. / - Keep going.
You're running out of time.
What are you doing?
Put it in.
Put it in. Just put it in!
You can do it.
It's going to the wrong direction.
Go for it, Detective Gadget!
- Very good. / - There you go.
Jongmin was also doing that way.
- His hand is above the line. / - There you go.
- Good. Put it in now. / - Isn't this cheating?
You did it.
(Defconn finally makes it.)
Gosh, my shoulders.
Your arms don't look well.
Are you all right?
It's really difficult.
Gosh, it feels weird on my shoulder.
Siyoon has long arms.
- I'll hold it from here. / - Try sheathing the sword.
He was on that drama,
- "Witch Hunt" or something. / - Oh, that's right.
It's "Mirror of the Witch".
It wasn't "Witch Hunt".
(Struggling)
It's hard, isn't it?
It must've been funny if he was like this in the drama.
Like this!
(Give me a moment, witch.)
Like this.
(His face has become red.)
Excuse me, let me slash you first.
(I'm sorry, but I have to go home soon.)
- It's impossible. / - He can't do it.
(It's all right, Siyoon. It was funny.)
Let me tell you the result of "Draw the Sword".
First, Jongmin's record
is 1 minute and 36 seconds.
(1 minute 36 seconds)
Defconn's record is one minute and...
(Please)
nine seconds.
(Defconn wins with the record of 1 minute 9 seconds.)
Defconn wins.
Well done.
- We won at last. / - We made it.
My goodness.
I want to cry.
- I feel like crying. / - I'm weeping bitter tears.
We need to take one more.
I think this is our first time winning the pears!
(Happy)
- I can't believe this. / - Something is wrong.
Our pears finally came back to us.
We won twice the amount we bet.
Let's just bet a lot.
(Let's just bet a lot.)
The next game is "Word Chain".
- "Word Chain"? / - "Word Chain"?
The leader of each team will be playing the game.
- Sounds good. / - He's the worst talker.
If you can't beat him, you should quit the job.
- I think they're going to... / - "Word Chain"?
all-in on us.
This game has an exclusive rule.
The winner's team wins the pears.
It's to prevent you from losing the game on purpose.
- So we should bet on our team. / - Yes, that's right.
(Team Water is insecure about Jongmin.)
(They bet only one pear.)
- How many pears should we bet? / - Not too many.
(Team Three Ge bets two pears to play safe.)
- Let's bet two. / - All right. The betting is done.
- "Word Chain" is... / - I must win.
a game where you make a chain of four-letter words,
having a conversation with each other.
("Word Chain")
You can use nouns, verbs and exclamations.
What kind of game is this?
If the conversation doesn't make sense
or is stopped, you fail.
I'm good at these kinds of games.
My goodness.
This game could continue endlessly.
"What are you saying?"
- You can say that, right? / - Let's give it a try.
(Give it a try.)
Japanese invasions of Korea.
Nanjung Ilgi.
(Japanese invasions of Korea, Nanjung Ilgi)
One, two...
I can't believe this.
I can't believe this.
Seriously?
- I can't believe this. / - It works.
It hurts.
(I can't believe this. It hurts.)
It's a squirrel.
- Gosh. / - "It's a squirrel."
He can't answer that.
It's running away.
(It's a squirrel. It's running away.)
It ran away.
(He doesn't know what's wrong.)
- What are you doing? / - I got a sty.
- What are you doing? / - I got a sty.
(I got a sty)
Is it a sty?
(I got a sty. Is it a sty?)
What are you...
It's a cat.
(It's a cat.)
Eat all of it.
(It's a cat. Eat all of it.)
What now?
La, ti, do, re.
Re, mi, fa, sol.
Sol, la, ti, do.
Do, ti, la, sol.
Sol, fa, mi, re.
You thief!
- What? / - You thief!
(What thief?)
- What? We win! / - I said, "Sol, fa, mi, re".
- We win! / - I said, "Sol, fa, mi, re".
- "Re"? / - It was "re".
(Where did the thief come from?)
- Hang on a second. / - You lose.
- The game is over. You lose. / - Get back here.
- The game is over. / - It was "re".
Wasn't it "do"?
The last syllable was "re".
- I said "Sol, fa, mi, re". / - "Sol, fa, mi, re".
(This is hilarious.)
- The game is over. / - My gosh.
This doesn't make sense.
The game was a total mess.
The grammar should be correct.
The grammar should be correct.
(They don't know what to say.)
You should use the correct pronunciation.
This is so funny.
How could this be a match between two admirals?
- Tell me about it. / - "I got a sty."
I didn't expect him to continue with that.
(They could continue because they're both foolish.)
(They start a proper new match.)
My goodness.
- No pain, no gain. / - That's good.
(No pain, no gain)
To take revenge.
It's a sty.
Is it a sty?
It's a cat.
Eat all of it.
(He fell down.)
Let's exclude "It's a sty" and "It's a cat".
You're repeating the same thing. Let's exclude them.
- Then I don't know what to say. / - Exclude them?
What else can we say?
I don't want to play anymore without them.
- I can't think of other things. / - We can't play.
"It's a sty."
My goodness.
I don't know where to start.
You should start before "It's a sty".
- You kept saying "sty". / - I can't do this.
They kept using "sty" and "squirrel".
- This game is too hard. / - "Is it a sty?"
You kept repeating "squirrel" and "cat".
(It's an infinite loop.)
You shouldn't use those words.
Let's just say it's a draw.
This game doesn't make any sense.
Let's just give up and play another game.
Let's say it's a draw.
Let's go for a quiz.
Please choose the player for the quiz.
(Taehyun versus Joonyoung)
This is the last quiz.
Since it's the last quiz, be careful about the betting.
- Did you finish betting? / - Is this is the last game?
Yes, it's the last game.
- Is this the last betting? / - Is this the last game?
- Yes. / - This is the last betting.
Why? You want to go all-in again?
- This is the last betting, right? / - Yes.
- This is the last betting. / - Really?
- Hey, squirrel. / - We should let him sit here.
- What? / - What if we lose?
(Team Water bets all the pears except one.)
- Joonyoung. / - Yes?
- Look. / - All-in!
You too?
(Of course,)
(I didn't bet on you.)
We should win big.
- Don't you think? / - One pear?
One? We should bet all.
All of it?
(You're frustrating me.)
All of it? No way.
It doesn't matter anyway now.
(They owe 13 pears in total.)
If we lose...
But we can't afford to go in the water.
If we don't win big, we won't be able to avoid that.
(They bet everything on Taehyun.)
(Really?)
Whom are you betting on?
Okay.
- It's an all-in. / - Let's get it started.
All right, this is the last one.
If we lose, we're done for.
- Hold on. / - It's a multiple choice question.
- What's this? / - A multiple choice question.
You will hear six possible answers.
(Kim Junho, the gambler of 42 years)
We'll bet three. Let's bet five.
(He believes that life is a gamble.)
(What that belief brought him)
(Sadness,)
(discouragement)
(and anger.)
No way!
(Taehyun, if we win this round,)
(we'll be able to start over.)
(If Taehyun wins,)
(they'll win by a difference of seven points.)
(We're all-in.)
Listen to all of the possible answers first
and then raise your hand to guess.
- Right. / - Let's go.
Out of the six possibilities,
which is not a quote from "Nanjung Ilgi"?
That's difficult.
(They'd have to guess.)
- No way. / - How would they know this?
A, "I had someone scratch my itchy head."
B, "Intoxicated, I fell over."
C, "I cried yearning for my mother."
D, "I ate dinner with the entire navy of 5,000."
- E, "I argued with my wife." / - They all sound weird.
F, "I read my friend's fortune."
Joonyoung.
The answer is E.
E.
What was it again?
I don't remember.
He argued with his wife.
I'm sure that's in there.
It would be, since it's his diary.
Was he married?
- He even has a son.
(What a fresh approach.)
- He has a son. / - I didn't know that.
- Unbelievable. / - This depends on luck.
We don't know how it's going to go.
I'll be shocked if he got this right.
- We were asked what's not in it. / - That's right.
- What's not in "Nanjung Ilgi"? / - Right.
The answer is E.
I see you're sticking to it.
Joonyoung,
you are correct.
(Joonyoung guesses right.)
(But we...)
(But we bet everything we had.)
- Is that correct? / - They went all-in.
(Taehyun's lost for words.)
- Is that correct? / - See?
(Team Three Ge loses 10 pears.)
(Dispirited)
We went all-in.
Junho wanted to since it's the last round.
- It was his choice. / - It was our only option.
We had to pay back the staff.
- We originally had ten. / - Junho.
They have one left.
(We bet all but one.)
(No way...)
- Why go all-in? / - Because we had a debt.
- Right. / - Did you take out a loan?
You should've kept it between us.
- There was no need for that. / - Gosh.
- I can't believe it. / - Why would you...
Why would you reveal our credit to them?
- Unbelievable. / - Gosh.
I can't believe that they are in debt.
We don't know that for sure yet.
We also put something on hold as collateral.
- As collateral. / - Seriously?
You'd be surprised to hear what it is.
Here's the final result.
Battle of Tongyeong, "I Still Have 12 Ships Left".
The winner
of the "Pear Race"
is Team Water.
- Nice! / - Admiral.
You have won the Tongyeong dinner set.
No way!
I can't believe you.
Meanwhile, Team Three Ge
will have to pay up and dive into the night sea.
- Really? / - Yes, at night.
- It was collateral. / - Shocking, right?
We negotiated a much better bargain though
since they wanted us to pay back double.
- No way. / - That's a bit cruel.
(His terms are never flexible.)
Never take out a loan
that'll bring your balance below zero.
- I... / - I'll never take one out.
(The race ends with them learning a good lesson.)
Goodbye, Admiral Yi.
(I'm exhausted.)
- I'm tired. / - Have a seat.
(They travel back to Tongyeong.)
(Siyoon, the photographer)
Look at this Turtle Ship Lighthouse.
(Turtle Ship Lighthouse)
("Turtle Ship Lighthouse in the Sunset" by Siyoon)
(Thinking about it,)
(Siyoon has been with the show for two years.)
(It's natural how he's still curious.)
Look how pretty that is.
(He always takes pictures of the view.)
(Always)
(He's busy making memories.)
The view is always the best during this time.
(Sunset shines over the coastal waters of Tongyeong.)
(A view that can only be enjoyed around this time)
(We've seen it numerous times already.)
(It's now time for them to pay.)
Goodbye, everyone.
When will Junho take the dive?
- Right. / - It's time I do.
- Good. / - We'll play rock-paper-scissors.
- No way. / - Only one will dive in.
- But you're the admiral. / - That's right.
- Gosh. / - It's your job as our leader.
I'm not your so-called admiral.
You'll have to or you'll be criticized.
- Gosh. / - I know.
(There's no one to blame but yourself.)
(They head to their base camp.)
Can't we do this another time?
- Sorry? / - Put it on my tab.
I'll take the dive in March.
You can't.
Just take the dive yourself.
You're the one who went all-in.
- That's right. / - You lost it for us.
- He... / - There's a good spot.
- Where? / - Is that the sea?
- Let's just drop by. / - Right.
There we go.
(Because it's Tongyeong, the shore is everywhere.)
(They can take a dive wherever they park.)
We originally agreed that you'd all dive in,
but if Junho agrees to do it on your behalves,
- I'll allow him. / - Did you hear that?
As the leader of the group
(You're talking gibberish.)
I'll allow you to sacrifice yourself for them.
- Do this for us. / - I could do it for my men.
- Good. / - I want dinner in exchange.
- Sorry? / - Give me dinner.
- Just yourself? / - Yes.
If that's the case, I'll dive in too.
- Me too. / - I'd gladly do it.
In exchange, give me and my men dinner.
- That's absurd. / - No way.
We should've negotiated that deal
after you took the dive for us.
Negotiating the terms yourself
- would never work. / - We were playing for dinner.
Just take the dive first.
Once I take the dive, you two can negotiate
- the terms for dinner. / - That's it.
- Okay. / - We can also do this.
We'll gladly share some of our food.
- Good. / - It'll make us all look good.
- Right. / - All right, take two.
Ready, action.
You can see that it's already late.
- Let's go. / - Taehyun has a light cold,
and Defconn already dived with me before,
so I'll do it alone this time.
- Really? / - I'll take the dive.
- My men... / - You almost caved in.
- He didn't. / - It's my fault they're in this mess,
so I'll take the fall.
- Right now? / - Yes, let's get going.
(Finally, it's time.)
I don't care unless only Junho dives in today.
We needed a scenario where he took the fall.
- We're also ready. / - We didn't need to.
I am the kind of leader this world needs.
- One who apologizes. / - And takes responsibility.
A leader that takes responsibility.
- It's freezing though. / - My gosh.
Gosh, it's cold.
(Just thinking about it gives them the chills.)
(Junho's worried to dive in.)
Everything's ready, including the towels.
Defconn, should we join him?
It's all right. You don't have to.
- It's freezing though. / - It's all right.
I feel bad letting you do this by yourself.
- Sir, let me help you. / - It's all right.
(Defconn helps Junho take off his clothes.)
Him being this way is making me so annoyed.
- I know. / - What did I do?
(Junho gets ready to take the dive.)
- All right. / - Here we go.
- Sir. / - Sir, any last words?
(He is determined.)
Because of my bad decisions,
I sank 12 of my own ships.
Junho.
You also took out a loan.
That's right.
I have yet to pay back the loan I took out.
It's all due to my unreasonable
amount of greed.
- Sir. / - Sir!
(His men are heartbroken.)
(Junho takes a bold step in.)
(It's icy-cold.)
- Wait. / - It's like death.
Isn't there a warm sea somewhere?
Where on earth would we find one?
Under the moon on Hansan Island,
I tread across the shallow waters alone.
(He splashes around.)
Sir, we're waiting.
(It's time you took the dive.)
(Finally, he pays back his debt.)
- Sir. / - Gosh.
- Goodness. / - Go in further. That's good enough.
That's far enough. Now kneel.
- On your knees. / - On your knees.
Say something.
(It's freezing.)
It's all my fault.
I still have
13 pears worth of debt left.
(I'm so sorry!)
(Junho clears his debt.)
Goodness.
(You did great.)
Wash your hands.
- Your hands. / - Wash your hands.
Go wash your hands.
Now your hands are clean.
(I won't let my greed take over again.)
Here you go.
- Gosh. / - Step forward.
- Good job. / - You sure set an example.
Admiral Kim.
You showed us what a true leader is like.
Since Junho took responsibility
for our teams mistakes today,
- can he at least eat dinner? / - Just him.
Yes, we can skip dinner.
- Admiral. / - I feel so bad for him.
(The most pitiful admiral)
Look at him.
- Gosh. / - Admiral.
You've been rewarded with dinner.
- At least enjoy that. / - Don't lie to me.
I'm not. The staff agreed to it.
- Really? / - Just you though.
- He's Admiral Kim. / - Where are we going?
(Nice to meet you.)
- Always be diligent. / - Ma'am.
You should get some rest now.
(Good job, Junho!)
(After a battle, always comes hunger.)
I smell crabs.
- No way. / - I can already tell it'll be delicious.
(A special feast for those hungry)
Look at this.
(It's a miracle the table is holding up.)
Admiral Kim, come on.
- Look at that, Admiral. / - Gosh.
Please step inside.
(No way!)
Admiral.
(You've got to be kidding me!)
- No way. / - This is unbelievable.
Is this all from Tongyeong?
(Seafood from coastal waters of Tongyeong)
(Aromatic spicy seafood stew)
(In-season Tongyeong oysters)
(Sweet and sour seasoned raw fish)
(Golden-brown pan-fried oyster)
(Nutritious roasted pike eel)
(Aromatic sea squirt and clam bibimbap)
(Sweet and sour oyster)
(Tasty roasted gopher)
(Tongyeong seafood set)
Enjoy, my loyal subjects.
- We will, Admiral. / - I really want to try some.
- Hang on. / - It sure is a feast.
- Look how big it is. / - Is that pike eel?
- We climbed the hills today, / - Look how thick it is.
so this would restore our energy.
(Joonyoung also has a bite.)
- I'll try it. / - It's really good.
It looks delicious.
(Darn it.)
Let me try the sweet and sour oyster.
- Dip it in the sauce. / - I already did.
- I tried one. / - It's so tender.
- Pike eel, crabs, octopus... / - There you go.
What is that?
It's everything you can find in Tongyeong.
- They must be in season. / - We're eating Tongyeong.
- Look at this. / - Amazing.
It's everything that's famous here.
(They now try the spicy seafood stew.)
This must be wild clam.
Look at this.
(He eats the clam in one big bite.)
(Joonyoung picks at the crabs as well.)
- What on earth is this? / - Check out the roe.
Are you eating all of that?
(They have to watch the others eat.)
(We're hungry.)
Try this.
Can't you at least give us plain rice?
You may have lost the battle today,
but since you did your best,
- we'll serve you dinner. / - We lost because of "ge".
- Bring it in. / - I agree.
The losers' dinner isn't so bad today.
(Oh, my.)
(In the clear coastal waters of Tongyeong...)
(It's caught fresh from the sea.)
(It's a big bucket of Tongyeong oysters.)
(Flustered)
These are enormous.
If you shuck the oysters
and fill that plate given to you,
we'll have them cooked for you.
(They'll have to shuck their own oysters.)
Only oysters?
- My gosh. / - Just oysters?
For the hard work Admiral Kim's done today,
I will offer him a chance to get a bowl of free food.
- But first, shuck the oysters. / - Let's get going.
We have to put it here for it to be washed.
(They gets started since they were told to do so.)
These are shut tight.
They are.
I don't get how we're supposed to do this.
(It's hard.)
These wouldn't have any value.
- Tell me about it. / - I know.
(They try their best but...)
It's tricky for beginners.
I'm getting frustrated.
Hold on.
There must be an easier way of doing this.
- There are too many. / - Gosh.
- When will we be done? / - Probably never.
- It's a big bucket. / - There's so much seafood,
the broth is beyond extraordinary.
(They now all take on the spicy seafood stew.)
- Hold on. What's this? / - I'll cut it for you.
- I'll eat it as it is. / - Really?
(It'd be a waste to split it.)
(The delicious broth is to die for.)
(They're captivated by its flavors.)
Visually, I've never had a dish better than this.
- I agree. / - Right?
- I think so. / - Me too.
(Ten minutes into the job...)
It's so good.
(They can't seem to make any progress.)
- This is so stressful. / - Use your hands.
I saw someone shucking these,
and her workload was that of a barrel.
This can only be done by hand.
(We can only eat after we're done.)
There must be a better way of using this.
If only someone would demonstrate for us.
Guys.
The master is here.
- Who? / - The master of oysters.
Hello, ma'am.
We were stressing out because of these.
Can you show us how it's done?
First, you do this.
I knew you needed this.
She uses it to crack it.
Oh, like that?
(Shove the knife between the crack and open it.)
Look here.
She's cracking the entire shell.
(The beginners listen to her instructions.)
- That's amazing, ma'am. / - Gosh.
- Shove it in. / - Okay.

Can you stay out for a week?
- It's possible. / - That's amazing.
- No one is waiting for me. / - Me, neither.
Me, neither.
(They brag their loneliness.)
I'll stay at your place for a week.
Let's exchange homes.
- Let's exchange homes. / - Good idea.
(That's not allowed.)
Does anyone want to come to my house?
Oh, no. Who are you?
(Everyone wants to avoid his children.)
We won't go home.
What if I stay out for two nights?
I'm going to go into a long-term sit-in.
(They installed a camera in everyone's house.)
(It will show when exactly they got home.)
- Is the camera rolling? / - Yes.
(Record your every move.)
Where should I go now?
(They fight hard to go home late.)
(They will either have fun,)
(be miserable,)
(have their hair curled,)
(or pester someone.)
It's been 11 hours now.
Has it been 11 hours?
Please sacrifice yourself.
If you do, I'll buy you a pair of headphones.
A good one.
(I'll think about it.)
- Headphones? / - Yes. I'll buy you a pair.
Let's see what others think.
Let's make Siyoon go home.
I told him I'd buy him a pair of headphones.
You should get him something and make him go home too.
- Just take it. / - No, thank you.
- Come on. Take it. / - No.
Take it. It's just 50 dollars.
Eat something nice with the staff at the rest stop.
Just take it, okay?
It's done.
(I'll count on you, Siyoon.)
(Will Siyoon really take up the burden?)
I'm on my way back to Seoul
after the shooting.
I'm still not sure what to do.
I've hung out with the others at night
and they usually want to go home after midnight.
That means I should hold out until midnight to win.
Only one of them needs to go home.
(Four hours passed. They should be in Seoul by now.)
Staying out until late is something I'm good at.
(I'm here too.)
We're not going home.
(Taehyun joins them as well.)
- Is the camera rolling? / - Yes.
It now has a video of you coming in.
(He can't do anything but laugh at this situation.)
This is driving me crazy.
The camera will record everything.
I should turn the camera.
It should record this.
We're not going to go home.
- We don't tend to go home. / - Don't record this.
(Is that something to be proud of?)
We're not going to go home.
I don't want the others to stay out until too late,
so I'm going to take the bullet. I'm going home now.
(Is he going home to his cats?)
I forgot the password to my house,
so I rang the doorbell.
(Chuckling)
What is this?
What is it?
It's a self camera.
- Do you have to do this? / - Yes.
I can't go home.
My house is a bit messy.
(I'm Jonghyun of CNBLUE.)
I'm at the house of Jonghyun of CNBLUE.
Stop coming to my house.
You're going fishing?
Yes. Lobster fishing.
Gosh. Where are you going?
- What? / - Where to?
Yangjae-dong.
How can you do lobster fishing there?
I don't know. They say you can.
I'm going fishing now.
(Fishing is the best way to kill time.)
I'm at a hair salon in Gangnam.
I have warm coffee here.
I'm going to dye my hair now.
(Don't come closer.)
I'm a handsome man with dyed hair.
(He looks sly.)
I really hate to lose,
so I'm going to go into a long-term sit-in.
(Let's eat something first.)
I will tell you about my plan after I finish eating.
Let's eat.
I got off work in Tongyeong,
and now I'm at a place about an hour from there.
I'm in Busan!
(He's at Songjeong Beach.)
Since I haven't been to Busan with the staff,
we will eat delicious things
and see nice things here.
Hurry up. The wave is coming.
- Hurry up. / - Hurry!
Hurry up!
(He enjoys his time with the staff.)
Siyoon won't go home.
I think he's going
to go straight to Cebu.
(The real game begins now.)
What should we do?
You offered to buy him headphones,
and I even gave him 50 dollars for the meal.
He took it, but didn't go home.
It means he's a dishonest guy.
I can't believe Siyoon.
It's 1:23 a.m. and none of us has gone home yet.
- I'm so tired. / - I'll call you later.
- I'm exhausted. / - Call me again later.
- Okay. / - All right.
Let's just meet up and have a drink later.
You like to be at home. Why don't you go home?
I'm dying to go home.
Defconn. Just go home and spare them a day.
I'm so tired, Defconn.
(Gosh, this is so upsetting.)
(I want to go home.)
(While Defconn is being upset,)
(nine hours have passed since the game started.)
(Joonyoung is lobster fishing.)
I'm not going to go home.
(I'm eating delicious food in Busan.)
(Taehyun, Jongmin and Junho are having lunch.)
(Pork belly is the best for lunch.)
(Each of them spends their time in their own way.)
(People call you a ghost...)
(when you just wander around doing nothing.)
(It's been 10 hours since they became ghosts.)
(Nobody has come home yet.)
(Someone came home.)
Soochan.
(Taehyun is the one who came home.)
Soochan.
Are you here?
Yes, I'm here.
Hi, Dad.
Are you dressed? Bring out your sisters.
Hurry up.
(Soojin runs to her dad.)
Go and wear your jacket, Soojin.
I'm going to go out first.
(She's excited.)
Are you home, Honey?
Yes. I can't come in. I have to stay out here.
- Taehyun. / - Yes?
- Come here. / - I can't.
- Why not? / - Didn't the staff tell you?
Why can't you come into the house?
Tell me. Why can't you come into the house?
There is a reason.
- It's open. / - Why is there a camera?
(Where is Taehyun going?)
- Give me a kiss. / - It's a baby.
(Junho is playing with Taehyun's children.)
Here is my dad.
He's texting.
(Jongmin hasn't gone home either.)
(What are the three of them going to do?)
Haven't you agreed on it yet?
We haven't.
- That's why we're still here. / - I offered them
a deal in exchange for a toy.
(Taehyun asked what they'd do for him if he gives up.)
It's 2 p.m. already. It's 2:12 p.m.
I don't know what we're doing here.
Your children are waiting for you.
(He can't stop thinking about his children.)
What am I supposed to do?
(Taehyun has been worried about them since morning.)
Tell them to come out.
After we eat, I'm going to go home
and bring out Soochan. Buy him a toy.
You're saying if we buy him a toy, you will go home.
This is between us three,
so don't tell the others.
- All right. / - Okay.
Send the picture directly to the director.
- Okay. / - All right.
Let's fool the others.
- It's not fair to us. / - You're right.
- We're buying Soochan a toy. / - All right.
- Soochan. / - Yes?
Junho wants to buy you a toy since it's the new year.
Tell me what you want.
Will he buy me everything I want?
I will make your wish come true.
He's gone already. He went to get dressed.
He's gone.
There are so many toys here.
(They took the children to a toy store.)
- Buy me a toy. / - This one is better.
Don't pull it.
I want to look at other toys.
Don't take it down.
Which toy are you going to pick?
- Not the one with characters. / - I want this.
I don't want characters.
- Do you want this? / - Yes.
- What is this? / - It's a microphone.
- A microphone? / - Yes.
(Taeeun picks a toy carefully.)
I have picked one.
- I have picked one. / - This?
(Taeeun picked Lego blocks.)
It's a fire truck. It puts out fire.
Soochan. What about this?
- What is this? / - An umbrella.
How about this? It's an eraser.
(That's a cute joke.)
What grade are you in, Soochan?
- I'm in fourth year. / - Fourth year?
Don't you play with these?
Only first or second grade students play with those.
Soochan, look at this.
Is that so?
How about that Spiderman costume?
It looks too small for me.
Too small?
- Hello, children. / - Gosh.
- You're here. / - It's good to see you.
- Defconn is here. / - It's Uncle Defconn.
Pick anything you like.
You're all working hard.
- Not at all. / - You're working really hard.
It will all end soon.
Yes. Let's send Taehyun home.
This will end soon.
- It's crowded in here. / - Taehyun should go home.
You have one minute to pick your toys.
- You have one minute. / - Is there a time limit?
- Of course. / - You should've told me sooner.
Is this what you want?
Do you want me to buy it for you?
- Come on. I'll buy you. / - He will buy it for you.
(Soojin likes the stuffed dog.)
(Laughing)
You're so smart, Taehyun.
- What is this? / - Are you buying her this?
(Is it Children's Day today?)
Carry that.
- There you go. / - Is it clay?
What is that?
(They're done shopping.)
Let's get two more of this.
That was a nice shopping.
(Each of them carries a big plastic bag.)
Say thank you.
Thank you.
Happy New Year.
(She's a cutie pie.)
(Meanwhile, Joonyoung and Siyoon are...)
Thank you for the food.
(either having a relaxing time...)
Why are they doing this to me?
(You can go home.)
I'm bored.
(11 hours after "Your Way Home")
It's 4 p.m. now. We started the game at 5 a.m.
- It's 4 p.m. now. / - Look.
This is a historical moment.
As soon as Taehyun enters home,
we can be free.
After this, I'll go home.
Let's go home with Daddy.
- All right. / - Go back to your family.
Daddy, let's play in the playground.
(Please calm down.)
We should go home.
Soojin, say "Happy New Year".
Happy New Year.
Thank you, Soojin. Happy New Year.
- Soochan. / - Thank you.
- You're welcome. / - You're welcome, Soochan.
- Taehyun. / - It's over now.
Taehyun, take care.
- Goodbye. / - Goodbye.
Taehyun is great. He sacrificed himself to save us.
- Thank you. / - Take care.
- You're welcome. / - Mr. Cha.
Thank you, Mr. Cha.
(Taehyun is home.)
- Thank you. / - Goodbye.
Thank you for your hard work.
We've been doing this for 11 hours.
- 11 hours? / - Yes.
- Let's go. / - Are we ghosts or what?
- Let's go home. / - You can go now.
- We can go now. / - Thank you for your effort.
Don't mention it.
(Taehyun is the first to be home.)
(The three children have fun with the new toys.)
Poop.
Is he pooping?
Gosh, it smells bad.
(She's talented at acting.)
(He's happy as long as the children are happy.)
I just arrived home. I admire the staff.
Do you know why?
They set the camera like this.
(They even set a camera there.)
They want to be sure I don't lie.
It's 4:35 p.m.
It's over.
(I'm home.)
(Defconn and)
(Junho also arrive home.)
I will call Defconn and ask where he is.
What if I'm the only one who didn't go home?
(I have a bad feeling.)
What if I'm the only one?
Why isn't he answering?
Maybe I'm the only one who didn't go home.
(Where are you?)
(They started fooling Joonyoung.)
(I'm back in Tongyeong.)
(I'm going to the cinema with Soochan.)
(I'm back at the restaurant to eat this again.)
I'm now at a sauna.
There's nothing more I can film.
So I'll stop filming.
(A day has passed.)
It's been a day.
I'm now finishing the trip to Busan.
(Siyoon also arrives home)
(after the trip to Busan.)
I still didn't go home even though
it's been 24 hours since the shooting was over.
I slept at my friend's place,
and I'm now practicing for my concert.
After this, I'm going to go home.
I can't stand it anymore.
Let's go home.
(Joonyoung arrives home.)
What is this? Are they still filming?
It's a camera.
(Angry)
- Joonyoung. / - My goodness!
Is this a wireless device?
How late am I?
(Watch the show if you want to know.)
They must be tricking me. It doesn't make sense.
(Joonyoung arrives home the next day at 4:40pm.)
One person...
(A few days later, Taehyun got the penalty.)
I'm not the fastest typer,
but I might have just found my next job.
The problem is I want to write about myself only.
I only remember what I said.
Does it look all right?
(He ended up summarizing the members footages.)
(Next week)
Celebrating the 10th anniversary...
(They make a theme song for Two Days and One Night,)
(celebrating its 10th anniversary.)
Yes, a theme song.
(Are we inviting some musicians?)
(Yes, we are!)
(Special guests are invited)
(to make a theme song.)
(UV, AKMU, Roy Kim and Kwak Jineon)
(They decide their partners...)
(to make a theme song with.)
(And they meet the muse of One Night Two Day.)
(Expectant)
(Who is the muse?)
(Ta-da!)
(See you next week.)

Conversations with John Sherman - Episode 16 - Duration: 35:15.
There's something about the work that we're doing
and the way in which it has played out in the world
that is really bewildering to me.
When I look around in my past, and in the history of things here...
You know, right now, as people are trying to find a way
to feel better about being alive and so forth,
it's amazing to me that almost without exception,
those efforts are mostly done in group settings.
You know, you see... Things like AA, for example.
AA is an extremely effective and long lasting - long running - help to alcoholics.
And AA is entirely based on the idea that people with like problems can help one another
by helping one another, by discussing the nature of their illness,
and the nature of their problems, and so forth,
and working together to try to find a way to understand...
To find and understand a way that will make them be able to be effective members
of their family, the community, and their own lives.
And this is entirely based, again, on the idea that people speaking to themselves,
to their friends and co-workers, and so forth, about the problems that they face is helpful.
For one reason or another, at least, at the very least, it provides a sense of community,
a sense of not being alone in the vicissitudes and difficulties of human life.
AA is like that.
Narcotics Anonymous is like that...
Even within the realm of psychological efforts to be helpful to people,
group therapy is probably...
I would suspect that it probably is the most common.
Just because of the fact that it is probably more affordable.
Pretty much everything we do as human beings when there is a problem that affects a group of people,
a population of people, that population of people, maybe not everyone of them,
but that population of people comes together to try to understand for themselves and others
how to get through the difficulties that they're facing.
There are a couple of exceptions to that and one of them, which is not entirely an exception,
is certain aspects of religion.
But even in religion...
You know, I was born in...
I was born in 1942 and spent the first five years of my life
with my grandmother, who was a Pentecostal Christian,
and who instilled in me a great...
understanding of Christian religion.
And that is all...
Again, that kind of religion, and pretty much all religions, I suppose,
are made up of like-minded people who are in circumstances that are not always understandable,
and come together to find sustenance, and comfort, and understanding
by being together with people who have the same circumstances.
Pretty much always.
And there is an exception that probably has something to do
with the problems that we have in trying to find some help,
find some community of people.
We have... Let me say this... We have literally thousands of people
who have done this work and there are many hundreds of them
who have come back to let us know what has happened to them.
But there are also many hundreds of them that we never hear from again.
And among that group of people, from time to time we do hear from them,
and find that they are fine.
That they are... Their life is fine, they have no difficulties with fear,
They have no difficulties with the way in which their minds work,
which indicates that the work that they did in the looking
actually had the effect that it's supposed to have for them.
But many people who come to us and get what they came for,
it's kind of a natural occurrence that they disappear.
Even those that are not generally interested in solitary life,
even those tend to disappear for a time.
And some of them come back... I would say most of them...
Most of the ones who start out in the forums, they come back.
After a while, they come back.
They go through recovery and, when the recovery is over
and they come to realize what has happened to them,
and what the nature of the thing that fixed them is,
many of them come back to report to us, to thank us, and to tell us how their lives are going.
And, for the most part, pretty good.
But there are actually also thousands of people who have come here,
have done the work, and there's good reason to believe that they have,
you know, from the reports of the few of them coming back,
that they have found their life to be worth living.
Worth living in.
They've found themselves to be capable of understanding the circumstances and difficulties
that arise within their minds and have learned some practical means
for working with those things.
Much of what we know about the work and about the way it plays out
is from the people who have stayed with us
and have had the great gift
of wanting to express the way in which their lives have changed.
And it's from those conversations with those folks...
And there are thousands of them too...
Not thousands of them that are active, but thousands of them that are
in the forums from time to time, and reading them, and so forth...
Always, it's the same.
Always, the results that are reported to us by people who take the trouble to report back,
they are always the same.
There is a period after the looking, in which things get really bad,
and then, after some time, things get better.
People begin to have a better relationship with their own minds,
and their own psychology.
And their own minds and their own psychology have given up the effort
to make them so scared that they can't enjoy their lives.
I think that, I mean...
First of all, I think that if we were working in the manner of psychotherapy,
if we were working in that kind of realm,
then people would certainly do whatever they had to do
in order to keep getting whatever it is they would get from us in that manner.
But we don't do that.
We don't...
There's no requirement either...
No requirement at all that people come to us, and they should stick around,
and they should help us, and help the world, and so forth and so on.
We don't even bother to bring that up to them much at all,
the implications of what we are doing to the way in which the world itself is unfolding,
the human world is unfolding.
I used to be a spiritual teacher.
I don't know if you know that.
And when I was a spiritual teacher, the thing that was so interesting about it
was that, first of all, there was no need, or no interest whatsoever,
in any kind if population of people who were working together
trying to understand the nature of human existence, and human misery.
There was nothing like that going on at all.
In spirituality, the effort is entirely toward the saving of me.
Making me better off.
Making me free from whatever it is that caused me so much confusion and so forth in the past,
before I happened upon this fantastic teaching, which for me was self-inquiry.
And we were doing pretty good.
People liked us, and we were...
We weren't having any trouble paying the rent...
I mean, we're never had much money.
But we didn't have any trouble paying the rent, or the electric bill,
or anything like that, which is often the case now, in our current occupation.
But the truth is that we humans are in trouble now.
We've been in trouble before.
We've been in trouble many, many times before.
But, you know, since about the seventeen hundreds, we have all gone kind of crazy.
We may have been crazy before, but we didn't have the means to cause as much damage as we have now.
We actually have the mean now to put an end to ourselves.
Not me, but to ourselves, to the human specie itself.
And most of us, really, I mean, we are talking about seven and a half billion people,
so that most of us are trapped in a mind, we have the sense of being trapped in a mind
that has little idea of what to do about the circumstances in which they find themselves.
Things are different today.
Things have changed very much in the last...
Well, not that far... I the last ten, twenty years, things have gone kind of crazy.
I tell you from my heart that if we don't do something pretty quick,
we're probably done for.
Not me. You know, I'm 72 years old, I probably... And Carla...
We'll probably get through our lives without the complete destruction of all of humankind.
But we're getting there.
Really, we are. We're getting there.
We're crazy as loons, most of us.
Most of the human species are afflicted with fear.
Crippled by fear.
Crippled by fears that have no basis whatsoever,
except in the story line that's going on within our minds.
The story line itself having been born in fear,
born in the sense that there's something wrong, and there's something I have to do
to make sure that nothing tears me apart,
or whatever is the way in which it manifests.
Most of us, I don't think we really have an understanding of his sense of fearfulness and anxiety
that ruins life for most of us.
Most of us, I doubt we even have a sense that there is something there that is changeable.
You know, we believe what our minds tell us.
What else are we going to believe in, except what our minds tell us?
And we're going crazy.
This teaching, if this is a teaching...
It's not exactly a teaching, it's more of a method.
This is the hope for humankind.
This simple movement of attention to the feeling of you
is the greatest hope for humankind in these days.
One of the greatest problems with us, when we are afflicted with the fear,
is the deep certainty that I am alone here.
That I am on my own.
That I will probably be swallowed up in some horrible thing, and die before I should.
And that's the way people are.
We are insulated. We are cocooned into our own misery,
or our own hope, or our own salvation, or whatever.
We are cocooned in our minds.
Unable to, for the most part, to see the desperate need for this work to get out to the human species.
And to get out quick.
We're not trying to bring to people a new spirituality.
We are not trying to bring to people a new religion.
We are not trying to bring to people a new politics,
or even a better [version] of the old politics.
We are trying to bring this one simple movement of attention
to the attention of everybody that we can possibly reach.
We are persuaded, we are convinced, our lives are given to
the certainty that if we can find a way to get this out to enough people,
there is a really good chance that humanity might actually
get through this problem that we find ourselves in these days.
So, when I'm speaking with you personally, and individually,
my only concern is you.
It is the nature and the circumstances of your sense of misery,
of your fearfulness, of the confusion that your mind inflicts upon you.
I'm concerned only with that.
I'm not concerned with the world.
I'm not concerned with the imminent destruction of humankind.
But when I'm talking with you, and when I'm talking with anyone who comes to me
to hear from me what it is that we are doing here,
I'm not talking to you about the way the world is,
I'm not talking to you about elections, and wars, and all the...
God, what a time we live in!
When I'm talking to you, all I care about is you. Really.
Just that: you.
Just as if you are talking to family members, you are talking to them directly, as you.
As a member of that family.
And it would be very strange if you asserted to your family members
that we have to go out and save the world because the world of human beings
is about to go under. You wouldn't do that.
If you had something to offer them, you would help them personally,
in the way that I try to help you, personally,
to be rid of the whip that has been
beating yo up all your life.
That's all I care about, it's you.
But the time has come for us... And by 'us' I mean certainly Carla and I,
and I would hope that, as time goes on, pretty much everybody who has ever done this work.
The time has come for us to stand up to the truth that,
first of all, this works.
It's not what you expect.
Really, it's not what you have been taught to expect,
like freedom from all bad feeling, freedom from everything that is terrible,
a complete arising of clarity, and a perfect understanding of things.
This isn't going to give you that.
What this does, and what it hopefully has done for you,
what this does is merely to free you personally of the whip of fear that has ruined your life until now.
But things are different now.
I mean, I'll never ever talk to people who come to me for help in their own circumstances,
I will never ever talk to them in a way that implicates them
in the need to worry about everybody else in the world.
I am doing that to you today because you are folks who have been here for some time,
And because there is a good reason for me to believe that you have done this act,
and that you have at least had a taste of the enormity of it.
The enormity of the effect of this act on your own life.
So, I am looking for, and hoping to find, a way to develop and organize
a campaign to bring this to the world.
Remember, keep in mind that it doesn't take much of anything to bring this to the world.
It's not something that anybody has to believe in.
It's not something that anybody has to change their mind about anything else.
Their mind will change naturally when the fear is gone.
And the fear is gone with that first look.
So, given the circumstances in the world, and I'm not talking anything in particular...
It's just the entire weight of war, hatred...
It just... It's terrible.
The world of human beings is in a terrible, terrible situation.
And it may be that we are, you know, at the end of human misery and so forth,
by wiping us off the planet.
Which would be a damn shame,
because human beings are fantastic.
I love human beings. I love humans.
I love being human.
And I am as human as they come.
There is no mystical thing going on here.
I'm as human as they come.
I love to eat, I love to walk...
I love to figure out things, try to understand things.
I love all the...
I even enjoy learning how to do the dishes better.
This is all a gift of the looking, really.
My life is simple. It is the...
You know, the most unsimple thing about it is our constant difficulties with money.
So here is the deal.
And we don't know.. I'm not exactly sure how this is going to play out,
or how in the world we're going to make it happen,
but here's the deal.
We are going to start...
Nobody will ever be denied the true nature of what this work is.
Nobody will ever be denied the opportunity to be free of fear themselves.
We'll never require anything whatsoever.
But for those of us who have even the slightest inkling of the magnitude of what we have stumbled upon here,
I want you to help us.
I want to find a way to get an accountant that will help us for free, hopefully for free.
I want to find a way to get so many things.
I want to get this out to the world.
And I need people, I need people with skills and understanding.
My...
Again, I will not ever depart from working with the people in the forums.
I will never depart from speaking to anybody directly about the nature of what we're doing for free.
That will never happen.
But...
We can do this. Really.
If you see how simple it is...
And I am not talking about the way it plays out.
Once the looking is done, it will play out as it does,
but the fear will be gone.
You see, it's all fear.
Everything whatsoever that mind sickened by the fear does is fearful.
It's trying to protect you from something that... From life itself, which needs...
From which you need no protection.
The human mind that is soaked in fear
is a human mind that creates wars, murders...
All of the terrible things that people do to one another.
It's all fear. Every bit of it is fear.
And if you have any doubt about that, and you want to talk to me about it,
send me an email and I'll get together with you and we can talk about it.
There's nothing wrong with any human mind other than the foundation of fear in which it was born.
And that foundation of fear in which the mind was born can be taken away
without any problem whatsoever.
Without needing to understand anything, know anything, pay anything,
or join anything.
Anybody who is willing to try will have always free access to what it takes to be free for yourself.
Just you.
But those of us that are sane have with us,
we carry with us, and I'm very much aware of the weight of it myself,
we carry with us an obligation
to bring it to other people, other human beings.
To bring it to the whole world, really.
And it can be done.
Really, it can be done, it just takes money.
And skill, you know, some talent and skill,
to make it happen.
It's not a big thing.
It's just money and skill, that' all that's needed.
So, if yo have any money, and/or if you have any particular skill, such as,
you know, accounting, financial management...
Anything that might be helpful to this, let us know.
Really, let us know. We're in this till the end.
You know, it's a funny thing.
Despite the fact that, as I said in the beginning of this,
in almost all of the seriously...
...honored psychological methodologies that have been helpful to people,
it is almost without exception the group work that does that.
The meeting of like minds, the meeting of minds that see that they, like everybody else,
are afflicted with a thorn of fear
that ruins their lives; that ruins their experience of life.
That confuses and befuddles their minds.
That causes them to blame others for their misery.
That causes them to take from others what they believe to be needed
for them to have their lives as they want them to be.
I want to bring this to everybody.
There are no enemies here.
We see no enemies, no particular people or classes of people that are the cause of this,
and if we could get rid of them, or straighten them out,
in some way everything would be good.
There's nothing like that here.
We see very plainly that every human being, even the most despicable dictator,
every human being has the same problem,
has the same fear.
And has the same right and capability of being free of that fear.

CREEPY WEBSITE EXPERIENCE! - Duration: 2:19.
hey guys Piglet here and welcome to
another video. In school they give us
laptops by google, which are Chromebooks
You know google Chromebooks. To work on
stuff. And in second period social
studies I was
on one. And you know how there are the
suggested pages of the websites you've
visited before?
Well when one person looks up something,
it just goes there for the next person who
uses that chromebook. When I got on in
the suggested pages it said "Gatekeeper"
So i clicked on it.
it was it's really weird
website with just like a small blue banner at
the top that says gatekeeper in italics
and says "Please login. Login name: and
Password:". And the URL is just an IP
address so i took the IP in the URL and
I went down to a website that looks up
the addresses and here's what it says "IP: blah blah blah,
Decimal: blah blah blah, Hostname: blah blah blah, and
then it says it's from com-comcast
cable, services and undetected type,
broad-band assignment, dynamic IP, blacklist,
Uh, you can check for blacklists,
and it's in North America, United States,
Georgia, and I'm gonna-not gonna say the
city, because, you know, I don't want to
expose anyone. (wink) But it also says the
postal code, so, you can literally see the
house that's coming from, and it's just like a
shady looking house. There's a long
driveway, like a two-story brick
house with the chimney in between, like, a
small roof and a big roof. It's really weird
and I'm gonna see if i can find
out anything to do with it but it was
really weird because, like, it was just
there! And I don't know. I'm gonna
try to find the phone number or something
but until then...
BYE!
