Youtube daily May 12 2017

This is John Tavano of The Miami Corporation.

This is a tutorial on how to use our

updated Tempotest Visualizer app

available for download

for Apple and Android devices. And it is a

free app. I'm going to go ahead and open up the app.

As you can see it's a camera

function app. You select the wall you

want to add awning on to. Start at the

top right corner and you add your awning.

Now this is a rib style. You could then

scroll through the various shapes of

awnings. Do a retractable, drop shade,

standard, quarter round, gable end, or dome. For

this we will just do it retractable. You

could also widen or make it a little

narrower. You could also change the

overall scale so you can get it to fit

the application of your choosing. You

could actually take the fabric on and

off the frame to line it up where

necessary. Hit this button and you have

access to the entire Tempotest

collection. You actually hit this

datasheet button and it actually shows

you all the information about the fabric

selected and if you go down to this

bottom button here save image. It is now

stored right into your photos to share

with your customer. There's a new feature

on this app as well where instead of

using augmented reality you can actually

import an existing picture so you hit

the camera button instead have access to

your photo library. I'm going to choose a

picture I had taken previously and as

you can see now instead of having it

real real time it's just a picture and

you use it in the same way you used it

before just now you have an existing

photo

it could also add additional awnings to

fit your applications and again change

your colors at will and save your photo.

So that is our Tempotest Visualizer app.

If you have any questions please contact

us at The Miami Corporation. Thank you

and have a great day.

Amy Klobuchar: Donald Trump 'Has A Tendency To Say Things That Aren't True' | For The Record | MSNBC - Duration: 5:28.

THINK HE WILL WEIGH THOSE. >> JOINING ME SENATOR AMY CLOE

BA CHAR FROM THE STATE OF MINUTE.

>> GREAT TO BE WITH YOU. >> WHAT THE PRESIDENT SAID IS ON

THREE OCCASIONS THAT DIRECTOR COMEY SAMEY SAID TO HIM THAT HE

NOT UNDER INVESTIGATION AND THE ONE THAT'S NOW BEEN HIGHLIGHTED

WE SEE IN LESTER HOLT'S INTERVIEW ON NBC, IS THAT ONE OF

THOSE EVENTS WAS A DINNER IN WHICH THE -- JAMES COMEY WAS

PURPORTEDLY OR SAID TO BE BY THE WHITE HOUSE THERE TO SEE IF HIS

JOB WAS SECURE, AND THAT AT THAT POINT THE PRESIDENT SAID OR AT

SOME POINT, I DON'T KNOW WHICH CAME FIRST, THE CHICKEN OR THE

EGG, THE PRESIDENT SAID AM I UNDER INVESTIGATION, HE SAID NO,

YOU'RE NOT UNDER INVESTIGATION. WE DON'T HAVE THE SEQUENCE AND

THAT MAY NOT BE FAIR HOW I LAID IT OUT.

YOU SHAKE YOUR HEAD. >> I DON'T KNOW WHAT'S TRUE.

I FIND THAT HARD TO BELIEVE. I KNOW.

AND THAT'S WHAT I'M BASING THAT ON AND I WANT TO KNOW WHAT COMEY

SAYS ABOUT THIS. AT SOME POINT HE'LL TESTIFY

ABOUT WHAT HAPPENED AS A PRIVATE CITIZEN, AND WE WILL SEE WHAT

HAPPENS. I CANNOT ASSESS WHAT'S TRUE OR

NOT, BUT I WILL SAY WHEN ALL THIS -- THE INCIDENT THAT SHOULD

NOT HAVE HAPPENED WHEN BILL CLINTON GOT ON THE PLANE WITH

LORETTA LYNCH AND JUST SAID, HEY, HOW ARE YOU DOING, NO CASE

WAS DISCUSSED, LOOK AT THIS. THE PRESIDENT OF THE UNITED

STATES -- I DO BELIEVE IT. WHAT I'M SAYING IS THAT WAS A

BIG DEAL. THAT SHOULDN'T HAVE HAPPENED,

RIGHT? SO NOW WE HEAR THAT THE

PRESIDENT IS ASKING THE FBI DIRECTOR WHETHER OR NOT HE'S

UNDER INVESTIGATION? I JUST -- I AM LOOKING VERY

FORWARD TO HEAR THE OTHER SIDE OF THAT STORY.

>> ALL RIGHT. DO YOU BELIEVE THE PRESIDENT?

>> WELL, CLEARLY A LOT OF WHAT HE HAS SAID HAS TURNED OUT NOT

TO BE FACTUAL. >> LET'S JUMP AHEAD

HYPOTHETICALLY. LET'S SAY WHAT HE SAID TURNS OUT

NOT TO BE TRUE, WHAT ARE YOU GOING TO DO?

>> IT'S ONE MORE THING. MOST IMPORTANT IS TOTO PROTECT R

DEMOCRACY. WE KNOW HE HAS A TENDENCY TO SAY

THINGS THAT AREN'T TRUE, INCLUDING PRESIDENT OBAMA

WIRETAPPED THE TRUMP TOWER, THAT WAS NOT TRUE.

AND WE KNOW IT HAS BEEN GOING ON.

A LOT OF PEOPLE DISMISS THESE THINGS.

HE'S JUST MAKING A POINT. IF SOMETHING HE DID WAS ILLEGAL

OR IF SOMETHING THAT HIS CAMPAIGN DID WAS WRONG OR PEOPLE

WHO WORK FOR HIM WAS WRONG, THAT'S WHY WE HAVE TO GET TO THE

BOTTOM OF THIS. >> WHAT DO YOU THINK ABOUT THE

FIRING BY DONALD TRUMP, THE PRESIDENT OF FBI DIRECTOR COMEY?

>> WELL, I AM VERY TROUBLED BY THIS.

I GO WAY BACK WITH JIM COMEY. WE WERE LAW SCHOOL CLASSMATES AT

THE UNIVERSITY OF CHICAGO, AND HE WAS SOMEONE THAT PEOPLE

RESPECTED BACK THEN. AND AS THE ACTING DIRECTOR SAID

TODAY AT THE INTELLIGENCE COMMITTEE, HE'S SOMEONE PEOPLE

RESPECT TODAY. AND THAT IS THE AGENTS THAT HE

WORKS WITH, LAW ENFORCEMENT IN MINNESOTA HAS GREAT RESPECT FOR

HIM. AND I DIDN'T AGREE WITH HOW HE

HANDLED THE HILLARY CLINTON INVESTIGATION THIS SUMMER, BUT

THAT DOESN'T MEAN HE SHOULD HAVE BEEN FIRED AND CERTAINLY NOT IN

THE MANNER HE WAS FIRED. >> I DIDN'T LIKE THE MANNER

EITHER. I THOUGHT HE SHOULD HAVE BROUGHT

HIM BACK FROM CALIFORNIA PUT HIM IN THE OVAL OFFICE AND HAD THE

DISCUSSION. IF YOU WERE A REPUBLICAN I'D ASK

THE FLIP QUESTION. YOU'RE A DEMOCRAT.

WHAT DO YOU MAKE OF THE FACT YOU HAVE LIKE THE DEMOCRATS WHO ARE

CALLING FOR HIS HEAD BEFORE AND NOW THEY LOVE HIM, AND THE FLIP

SIDE, THE REPUBLICANS LOVED HIM BEFORE AND NOW THEY MIGHT HAVE A

DIFFERENT VIEW? >> YOU KNOW, FIRST OF ALL, A LOT

OF REPUBLICANS HAVE SAID TO ME, ESPECIALLY TODAY, THAT THIS IS

JUST MESSED UP. I'M NOT GOING TO NAME WHO THEY

WERE, BUT I THINK THAT'S PRETTY OBVIOUS.

SOME OF THEM HAVE PUBLICLY SAID IT LIKE SENATOR McCAIN AND FLAKE

AND SENATOR BURR. BUT I ALSO THINK THERE'S

DEMOCRATS THAT BELIEVE WHAT I'VE SAID.

SOME OF THEM ARE MUCH MORE SEVERE THAN I WAS ABOUT COMEY AT

THE TIME. BUT IN THE MIDDLE, SMACK IN THE

MIDDLE OF A MAJOR INVESTIGATION ABOUT RUSSIA AND THE CONNECTIONS

TO THE TRUMP CAMPAIGN, WHAT WE LEARN TODAY FROM THE ACTING

DIRECTOR IS NOT A SMALL THING. HE SAID IT'S ACTUALLY A MAJOR

INVESTIGATION. TO FIRE THE HEAD OF THE FBI, I

JUST THINK IT IS NOT SHOWING THE RESPECT THAT WE SHOULD SHOW FOR

THE RULE OF LAW AND FOR OUR LAW ENFORCEMENT.

>> WHY DO YOU THINK PRESIDENT TRUMP FIRED HIM?

>> THAT I DO NOT KNOW, BUT THERE ARE SOME CLEAR IMPLICATIONS NOW.

>> WHAT DO YOU THINK? >> LET ME SAY WHAT I THINK.

I THINK HE GOT MORE AND MORE MAD AS TIME WENT ON.

HE HIMSELF SAID HE THOUGHT OF FIRING HIM FOR A WHILE.

YOU HAVE THE FACT THAT COMEY ACTUALLY TOLD THE TRUTH BEFORE

CONGRESS AND SAID THAT, NO, PRESIDENT OBAMA DID NOT WIRETAP

THE TRUMP TOWER, AND THAT IS A DIRECT REFUTING OF WHAT THE

PRESIDENT HAD SAID IN HIS OWN TWEET AT 6:00 IN THE MORNING ONE

DAY WHEN HE ACCUSED OBAMA OF DOING THAT.

YOU HAVE THAT ESCALATION INTO THE SALLY YATES TESTIMONY WHERE

SHE DOES -- BASICALLY ALSO TELLS THE TRUTH.

SAID SHE WARNED THEM FORMALLY AND FOR 18 DAYS THEY LET FLYNN

STAY IN THE WHITE HOUSE. I MEAN, THESE ARE THINGS THAT

BOTHERED THE PRESIDENT. IT'S VERY CLEAR THIS STUFF IS

LEAKING OUT NOW HOW HE FELT. AND ON YOUR OWN -- THE INTERVIEW

WITH LESTER HOLT NOW, HE SAID CONTRARY TO WHAT THEY SAID AT

FIRST, WHERE THEY SAID, OH, HEY, THE JUSTICE DEPARTMENT DID THIS

MEMO AND THIS IS WHY WE DID IT, HE'D BEEN THINKING OF FIRING HIM

FOR A WHILE. >> WELL, CERTAINLY A LOT OF

UNANSWERED QUESTIONS INDEED. A MYSTERY.

>> THAT IS TRUE. A THAT'S ALL I CAN SAY.

WE LIVE IN INTERESTING TIMES, SENATOR.

>> WE DO. >> THAT'S TO PUT IT VERY

POLITELY. >> THAT'S WHY I'M GOING TO THE

FISHING OPENER PICNIC IN SAINT

Making Marines – 12 Weeks of United States Marine Corps Recruit Training - Duration: 10:54.

Sit up straight and look at me now.

Aye Sir.

You have arrived at MCRD San Diego billet six-two-two receiving company.

You understand?

Yes Sir.

From now on, the only words that come out of your mouth will be "Yes Sir" "No Sir" "Aye

Aye Sir".

Do you understand?

Yes Sir.

Tens of thousands Marines have began their outstanding service on these very yellow footprints.

You will carry out that proud tradition.

Do you understand?

Yes Sir.

Scream it.

Aye Sir.

Louder!

Louder!

You have just taken your first steps in becoming members of the world's finest fighting force.

The United States Marine Corps.

These recruits are entrusted to my care.

These recruits are entrusted to my care.

I will train them to the best of my ability.

I will train them to the best of my ability.

I will develop them in to

Smartly disciplined

physically fit

basically trained Marines

thoroughly

indoctrinated in love of the Corps and country.

I will demand of them

and demonstrate by my own example

the highest standards

of personal conduct

morality and professional skill

Take charge of these men and make them Marines.

Aye, Aye Sir.

Group training, so this week we covered MCMAP. (Marine Corps Martial Arts Program)

And we also did bayonet assault course.

And we get the recruits ready to transition on to the second phase.

Ready, execute.

Here you go, pay attention.

Got it?

Yes Sir!

Execute.

Execute.

Execute

Execute

So right now, we're doing a Combat Fitness Test.

It's two laps, you understand?

Yes sir.

Ready, go.

Measuring their strengths to see how they're performing on that.

Get up.

Run, run run run.

Crawl.

Crawl, crawl, crawl.

It's important for the recruits to experience because this their first time in recruit training,

this is the first time they're learning about the Marines.

And for us to throw this on them and have them train like this, it gets in their mindset

that it's not just about them anymore.

It's not me, I.

It's us.

It's about Marines.

Brotherhood.

We also have the Senior Drill Instructor inspection.

Basically we get to see their attention to detail as far as our uniforms, as far as our

cleanliness of weapons, and just the knowledge that we've bestowed in them since the moment

they picked up on us in Fox Company.

Every Marine is a rifleman, but also Marines are amphibious.

They have the 25-minute swim,

the four-minute float

the drop from the tower

to try to

overcome their fear of heights.

Also conditional PFT, to test their strength is fell over now.

Pull-ups, crunches, and a 3-mile run.

Get up.

Aye Sir.

Get up.

Aye Sir.

The recruits pack up everything in the house and move to Camp Pendleton.

Which leads into the second phase, which is targeting marksmanship.

So for Grass Week, we have the recruits for five days, and they get taught about the basic

fundamentals of marksmanship.

A lot of these guys have never even held a weapon or anything, so it's all the way from

how they handle that weapon in a safe manner to placing low-end shots in the center of

a target up to 500 yards.

So firing positions, so there's the prone, sitting, kneeling, and standing.

Then we teach them every variation, we find what variation works for them, and then we

take that, we practice it for that week so they can go down range and apply it.

This is an indoor simulated marksmanship training.

They use that to simulate shooting downrange, and it gives the recruits an idea of sort

of what to expect.

The recruits will end Grass Week with a five mile hike.

First Marine division.

First Marine division, aye Sir.

California.

This week is our table one relay for recruits.

(horn blaring) For the recruits this is their first time ever actually firing a live round.

They're taking everything that they did last week, learning how to aim, the proper shot

placement, proper stances, proper position holds, and they're actually applying that

to live rounds this week.

(rifle shots)

They fire all day long, multiple days before they actually qualify.

Every recruit will have a coach standing over them.

There's one to help them out and turn them into the marksmen that we need them to be

as Marines.

The goal of every Marine is to become a rifleman, proficient with the weapon, and that's what

were doing here.

Before they leave out of here, they will be a rifleman first and foremost.

So this week, Fox Company had field week.

Starting the week off, Table II shooting, which is that close quarter combat shooting.

They worked on all those drills that PMI took, those tactical reloads, speed reloads, controlled

pairs, two in the chest, facade drills.

They were put in that combat mindset and they went out there to accomplish the mission they

were assigned to do.

Downrange area is clear.

They advanced to the field for their Basic Warrior Training.

They went out there and did this Assault Course, where they practiced an all night drill with

flares in the air, combat guiding and how to properly overcome obstacles in a combat

territory, in a combat mindset.

Then they started to learn Land Navigation.

How to read a map, how to plot points on a map, and how to finds those points they plotted.

They worked on it during the day and at night.

Team week is the first week of the third phase.

It's a week where we start really transitioning and giving the recruits the responsibilities

of taking care of each other, doing the right thing when nobody's watching.

They go to different agencies and they just help out, breaking boxes down, cleaning up,

stocking shelves, whatever needs to get done around the depot.

Also, this week we have the interior guard showing the recruits the purpose of standing

duty in a more real-life situation.

Their drill sergeants also do scenarios.

For example, if somebody comes out of the area of operations and the recruits get charged

with a test like that.

The Series Commander's Inspection is an inspection done by a Series Commander, and what he's

looking for, basically, is for them to be able to articulate themselves, targeting with

confidence, demonstrating bearing.

It's preparation for Company Commander's Inspection and the Battalion Commander's Inspection.

This week Fox Company did the inventory PFT.

Measures the fitness of the recruits since they've been here in recruit training.

This is about their middle point.

Measure their pull-ups, crunches, their run times to see how much improvement they've

made in the bayonet assault course where they go through.

They can put their MCMAP techniques that they learned to the test in a real life scenario.

Final pugil sticks in the Thunderdome where they will be doing the final CFT.

The CFT is the Combat Fitness Test.

They measure their amount of times they are able to lift a 30 pound ammo can.

They do a obstacle course that consists of carrying ammo cans, zig-zagging through obstacles,

low crawling, high crawling, sprinting, and doing a fireman's carry.

They also do a 880 meter sprint around the track.

So this week we actually had our final drill.

This is a big day for the recruits.

This actually shows them a lot of pride and discipline.

A lot of things that the drill sergeants actually worked hard for to do.

And the final PFT, physical fitness test where recruits are evaluated on pull-ups,

crunches, and a run time.

Next thing that we're gonna be doing this week is the repel tower.

The repel tower for the recruits is the opportunity for them to get their last little bit of courage

out and show the drill sergeants that they actually wanna be United States Marines.

Go faster!

The chambers filled with CS gas are non-lethal tear gas and riot control agent.

to test recruits' knowledge on proper points for equipment used during biological and chemical

attacks.

The reminder of week 12 is spent undergoing the most defining moment of recruit training.

The Crucible.

The Crucible is the cumulating event of recruit training process.

It is a 54 hour field training exercise executed with only 3 meals and 4 hours of sleep per

night.

Designed to emphasis the importance of team work and overcoming adversity.

The Crucible

cumulates with the formal presentation of The Eagle, Globe, and Anchor.

and officially marks the transitions from recruit to

Marine.

Gordon Ramsay Demonstrates How To Cook A Scallop Appetizer | Season 5 Ep. 13 | MASTERCHEF JUNIOR - Duration: 1:28.

GORDON RAMSEY: So I'm personally going to show

you how to make these, OK?

First up, an incredible appetizer--

seared scallops, the most amazing polenta,

and then finish with delicious fried quails' eggs.

Oh.

Yeah!

When you crack the quails' egg, tap gently

and then the point very carefully.

Now, you bring the pan up to temperature

and you let them sit there.

So polenta.

In at 12 o'clock.

Why 12?

So you can know when to flip them.

Exactly that.

Tilt the pan like that.

Spoon underneath.

And flip over.

Now, make sure you've got a nice color on them, OK?

From there, scallops in 12 o'clock.

Gordon is moving so fast right now.

The secret of cooking these scallops is quick.

So very carefully, finger on.

And flip over.

My head is spinning like a hamster on a hamster wheel

right now.

GORDON RAMSEY: When it comes to plating, scallop first.

From there, polenta on, scallop on.

We call this shingling.

Eggs go on the polenta.

What's next?

The vinegar.

Vinegar.

GORDON RAMSEY: Exactly that.

Watching Gordon demo his dishes, it seems super complex.

Fine, beautiful sauce.

Gordon Ramsey just makes it look easy.

I'm thinking, how in the world are we supposed to make this?

GORDON RAMSEY: And there we have seared scallops

with quails' egg, polenta croutons, and a

nice, fresh salad of snap peas.

Christopher Ruddy: Trump Isn't The Type To Shut Down An Investigation | For The Record | MSNBC - Duration: 3:54.

SECURITY OF FEDERAL NETWORKS AND CRITICAL INFRASTRUCTURE.

WITH ME NEWS MAX CEO FRIEND OF PRESIDENT TRUMP, CHRISTOPHER,

NICE TO SEE YOU. >> GREAT TO BE ON WITH YOU.

>> DO YOU KNOW HOW IT IS RESONATING WITHIN THE TRUMP

CIRCLE, FRIENDS, WHITE HOUSE, ASSOCIATES -- TELL ME A LITTLE

ABOUT IT. >> I THINK PEOPLE THAT KNOW THE

PRESIDENT KNOW THAT HE'S THE TYPE OF GUY THAT WOULD NOT BE

TRYING TO CLOSE DOWN AN INVESTIGATION, EXAMINE THEY SEE

-- AND THEY SEE THE RELENTLESS

SPIN. BILL CLINTON FIRED JEFF SESSIONS

ON GROUN GROUNDS FAR LESS CONVI THAN WHAT THE PRESIDENT HAD.

HE HAD VERY SERIOUS CONCERNS ABOUT DIRECTOR COMEY AND IT WAS

A ONE-DAY NEWS STORY. YOU REMEMBER BACK THEN, GRETA.

IT WAS A ONE-DAY NEWS STORY. NOBODY SAID THERE WAS ANYTHING

IMPROPER. IT WAS IN THE PURVIEW OF THE

PRESIDENT TO DO THIS. WHAT WE'RE SEEING -- I'M

WATCHING SOME OF THESE CABLE SHOWS.

THEY'RE TALKING ABOUT IMPEACHMENT, THEY'RE TALKING

ABOUT HE WAS TRYING TO CLOSE DOWN -- WHAT INVESTIGATION HAS

PRESIDENT TRUMP SOUGHT TO CLOSE DOWN?

HE'S NOT DIRECTING THE FBI TO CLOSE DOWN ANY INVESTIGATION.

IF ANYTHING, THIS IS GOING TO HEIGHTEN INTEREST BY THE PRESS

AND THE PUBLIC AND CONGRESS IN THIS INVESTIGATION.

I DON'T THINK THAT'S WHAT THE PRESIDENT INTENDED, BUT I THINK

IT WILL BE A HEIGHTENED INTEREST.

>> DOES HE HAVE -- IF I TAKE YOUR VIEW ON IT OR YOUR

THOUGHTS, DOES HE HAVE PERHAPS A TIN EAR ON THIS BECAUSE HE

HAPPENS TO HAVE DONE IT IN THE MIDST OF THE RUSSIAN

INVESTIGATION WHICH IS, THOUGH, ON THE HEELS OF THIS LETTER FROM

THE DEPUTY ATTORNEY GENERAL WHICH SAYS THE FIRING -- THE

REASON FOR THE FIRING IS THE MISHANDLING OF THE E-MAIL

INVESTIGATION, FORMER SECRETARY OF STATE, HILLARY CLINTON WHICH

IF THAT WERE THE REASON, YOU WOULD THINK HE WOULD HAVE FIRED

HIM ON DAY ONE OF THE TRUMP PRESIDENCY, WHICH IS 112 DAYS

AND SOME CHANGE AGO INSTEAD OF WAITING TILL RIGHT NOW, RIGHT

AFTER COMEY TESTIFIES AND SAYS SOME THINGS THAT I'M SURE THE

PRESIDENT DIDN'T LIKE. >> WELL, I THINK THE PRESIDENT,

IF HE MADE A MISTAKE, HE DIDN'T FIRE HIM SOONER.

HE SHOULD HAVE DONE IT ON INAUGURATION DAY BECAUSE FRANKLY

I THINK THE DIRECTOR, DIRECTOR COMEY HAD LOST THE CONFIDENCE OF

CONGRESS, BOTH REPUBLICANS AND DEMOCRATS.

YOU COULD LOOK AT THE REELS GOING BACK AND THE CLIPS AND SEE

CHUCK SCHUMER, MANY DEMOCRATS CALLING FOR HIM TO LEAVE THE

FBI. I THOUGHT WHAT HE SAID, MANY OF

THE STATEMENTS HE MADE DURING THE HILLARY CLINTON E-MAIL WERE

OVER THE TOP AND NOT WHAT WE WOULD EXPECT AN FBI DIRECTOR.

AND HE JUST GAVE TESTIMONY -- >> SO, WHY DID HE WAIT?

THE PROBLEM IS -- THAT'S STILL SOMETHING I DON'T UNDERSTAND WHY

HE WAITED. MAYBE HE'S TOO BUSY WITH OTHER

THINGS IN A NEW ADMINISTRATION. I DON'T KNOW.

THAT'S A SUSPICIOUS STICKING POINT.

>> I THINK IT'S A LEGITIMATE QUESTION, BUT THEN REMEMBER,

YOU'VE SEEN THE PRESS REPORTS THAT JUST OVER A WEEK AGO

DIRECTOR COMEY GAVE TESTIMONY. AND HE SAID THAT HE WAS NAUSEOUS

THINKING ABOUT THE FACT THAT HE POSSIBLY OR PROBABLY IMPACTED

THE ELECTION. I THINK THAT'S A PRETTY SERIOUS

REVELATION, AND THEN SOME OF THE OTHER THINGS THAT HE SAID IN

THAT TESTIMONY, I THINK THERE IS GENERAL AGREEMENT THAT WHAT HE

HAD MADE ON PUBLIC DISCLOSURES ABOUT INVESTIGATIONS IS NOT IN

KEEPING AND CONSISTENT WITH THE LEGAL PROCESS THAT FBI DIRECTORS

USUALLY ADHERE TO. SO, YOU KNOW, HE MADE THESE

COMMENTS AND APPARENTLY, ACCORDING TO PRESS REPORTS, THE

PRESIDENT DIDN'T TELL ME THIS, HE WAS PRETTY MIFFED BY SOME OF

THE THINGS HE SAID AT THAT HEARING AND EVEN SUGGESTING THAT

HE MIGHT HAVE INTERFERED -- HE VIOLATED LONG TIME JUSTICE

DEPARTMENT -- YOU'RE A LAWYER SO YOU KNOW THIS.

THEY'RE NOT SUPPOSED TO COME OUT 30 TO 60 DAYS BEFORE AN ELECTION

WITH POTENTIALLY DAMAGING INFORMATION IN AN INVESTIGATION

AND HE CERTA

FINDING THE RIGHT CAREER, FAMILY VS. WORK LIFE, & MORE - Duration: 7:22.

Well I'm pretty sure this question

crosses everybody's mind right?

(MUSIC)

Hi everyone my name is Kim I am a

registered dietitian. For those that are

new to my channel go ahead and look

around, see if you like this channel and

click that subscribe button. I'm pretty

sure this question crosses everybody's

mind right?? Finding the right career and

the reason why I am making this video is

because a lot of you have been leaving

comments in my comment section; some of

you are trying to find another

profession. Others if you are in high

school or in college and saying: "Well you

know how, how, how, how is the field? what

is it like? You guys just have tons of

questions. So I'm going to share with you

some things that I did to find out if

dietetics was the correct career for me.

And I'll be honest with you I actually

asked myself this question after I got

into the profession because you know

when you're in the profession you're

wondering well can I see myself doing

this until I reach retirement for the

next 40 years? The five things that I did

to figure out if dietetics was the

correct career for me. So let me start

off with a story so there's actually two

colleagues of mine who are actually

still dietitians but decided to leave

the profession and become a physician's

assistant. One of them that I spoke about

before she actually stated to me that

she decided to become a physician's

assistant because she was seeing a lot

of people that were diabetic and their

insulin medications and their oral

hypoglycemic medications was wrong in

her eyes so she wanted to actually be a

little hands-on and adjustment it. The other

colleague of mine, she was actually a

dietitian for about 15 years and she

said that she could not see herself in

the profession anymore. She wanted

something, she wanted to try something

very new. So there's different reasons

why people may want to change

professions there's different reasons

why people may want to go into the field

of dietetics. So let me just share with

you the five things I did without

babbling along. So the first thing I did

which is the first thing that I would

recommend you to do as well is do some

introspection! Look into yourself

realize your

likes and dislikes. Realize your

strengths and your weaknesses, realize if

you're talkative person, if your

reserved person, if you're an angry

person, a happy person, etc! And just

really find out who you are. Once you

find out who you are then you would

realize where you want to go in life.

Where you want to be in the next 5

years, 10 years, 15 years, etc. Back in high

school one of my teachers actually made

us sit down and take like a career path

test. My career aptitude test stated that

the best career for me to go into was

nursing. Okay?? As far as I know they're

not scientifically based, but they helped

me to do a little introspection so I

would encourage you to do that. The

second thing that I would encourage you

to do is to do your research on

dietetics

or it doesn't have to be dietetics it

can be whatever career or occupation

you're thinking about going into. Reason

why you want to do your research number

one you want to find out how much time

time is important how much time it takes

for you to achieve that goal of being in

that occupation? How much education? How

much schooling? Find out the job

description? Job duties? Job outlook in

the next 5, 10, 15 years?

Finances is a big part of that! I

remember there is a song "C.R.E.A.M." it was

like way back when. (C.R.E.A.M.= cash rules everything

around me) I'm not gonna tell you the

artist, but cream. Well cash shouldn't

rule anything around you but money talks aye.

When you look at the job, the job

description everything dealing with the

job is there any growth? The third thing

that you want to do is to look at how

demanding is the job? Is it I'm going to

get into your social life? Will you be

able to have a family? Will be able to

raise your kids or are you going to have

to put them in the babysitter's? How

versatile is this job? Is a job going to

make you travel are you going to be stay

at home? How close? How far? Are you going

to have time to come home in the

afternoon and cook, have a relaxed time?

Are going to be on call all the time? So

these are all the things that you need

to answer and to be honest with you I

wish someone would have told me this

while I was in high school while I was

in college.

Fourth thing I think you should do is to

shadow the profession like

this will be so excellent. I had a friend

college and she was actually the first

one that I've heard say that she was

getting her degree in dietetics. I'm a

dietetics, what is dietetics? Because I

didn't find out about the professional

of dietetics until I was actually in college.

And she was saying she wanted to be a

doctor.

Her parents had set up for her to shadow

this physician for the entire summer. I

guess he was some type of family friend

and what she had told me is that the

physician actually didn't have time to

see her so he just scooted her along to

the dietitian. So the entire summer

she was just shadowing the dietitian she

began to find out what the dietitian

does and she's like "Oh wow" this

profession is great this is the career

for me. So see if you can shadow someone

in the career in that occupation because

it will allow you to see what they do on

a day to day basis, how happy they are

hopefully you find someone that's happy in the

profession you want to go. The fifth

thing that you want to do, you want to

find a company. Different companies high

for different occupations obviously, but

once you find a company that you do like

find out their values, their mission

statements, their goals. There's some

websites out there that actually allow

you to see the information on the

current employees; how satisfied or

unsatisfied they are working with that

company. Companies have different perks

and different incentives, different

mission statements. So finding the right

company is actually something very, very

important. After doing all of this, after

I did all of this, I actually did

this about two years after I became a

dietitian. Cause I was like...well... a few dietitians

I know are changing professions and

they've been in this profession longer

than I have am I missing something?

So after I actually did all of this and

weighed everything I actually made like

a little Venn diagram for myself; the

pros and the cons and everything that

was neutral in between; I realized well

in essence, where I am right now this

point in my career, this point in my

occupation

I can see myself being a dietitian until I reach retirement. Now if you're in

high school I would definitely encourage

you or if you're in college I would

definitely encourage you to do this now

in your life. If this is your second

occupation or even third occupation

these are questions that you need to ask

yourself as well before you jump into

a whole entire different career path. So guys

these are just my quick tips on how to

find the right career for you. It's an

honest question that we all ask

ourselves, it's not wrong to ask yourself

that question it's okay to make a switch.

But, I do thank you guys for watching

have a good day as usual remember to

like as well as subscribe if you have

any other tips that you want to add to

this video please go ahead and leave

them in the comment section below

so that we can start some conversation. I

just want to help you guys out with this

have a good day. BYE!
