The reader is not as fast as the better one's on the market.

But then it may be okay that Samsung has given the S8 models the possibility of IRIS scanning for unlocking the screen.
But, frankly, this is more a gimmick than a useful feature.
It is low efficiency and requires that you hold your phone face-to-face around 30 cm from your eyes.
Try yourself with your own phone, and you soon realize that this is not a natural position.
Samsung has a different ace in the sleeve, namely face detection

S8 is also the first phone with Bluetooth 5.0 support,

With the fingerprint reader on the backside, the S8 is the first S model from Samsung with virtual display buttons.
As before, Samsung has put the back button on the right side of the home button,
But if it gets unusual, you can change the place of them in the menus
The main camera on the back is the same as in the S7 models,

Samsung's camera app is better than ever, and is now made so you do more with one hand
S8 is also among the few phones that support WiFi speech,
