So, I'm going to the library.
There's three levels in the library,
but the largest study space is on the second floor.
So, I'm gonna study up there.
I'm reviewing my notes from Economics class.
This is about Marx's criticism of Capitalism
My notes look like this.
Now, I'm gonna head to my class.
Since this is the center of the campus,
there are people coming back from classes and people going to classes.
It's lively.
You can get Pass/Non-pass though. パス/ノンパス(成績のタイプ)でも取れるよ。

This is my favorite course called Social Psychology.
This class teaches
how other people influence an individual's thoughts, emotions, and behaviors.
For example, in the last class,
we did an experiment called Helping Demo.
We dropped a stack of people in front of pedestrians
to see if they offer help under various situations.
Why don't you go to that campus tour? あのキャンパスツアーの人たちいってみたら？
I think I will. そうするわ。
One of my team members dropped a stack of papers in front of a big group.
A couple of people looked at her.
But they walked away.
Then a guy at the back of the group offered a hand.
Here is a woman walking by herself.
...she walked away.
The gender of the person dropping the paper,
the number of people in the group who witness the incident,
all of these various factors came into play
in peoples' decision to help.
Dropping the papers in a dramatic way like this
and giving a sense of urgency was also an important element.
I'm so sorry for those who helped me pick up the paper:(
Now I'm at a building called Ackerman Hall,
where the UCLA store is located,
to eat lunch.
This area with the salad bar is
where I have my lunch.
Class is over now.
Some people are still here asking questions.
I'm now going to a library to study,
but not the Powell Library that I went to this morning.
and it's called YRL.
Now, I'm going to a club meeting for JSA that starts at 6pm.

UCLA's JSA is a Japanese Student Association.
In this club, we don't care if you are Japanese or not.
Many UC schools have JSAs.
Ian is learning Japanese with JSA members:)

I went home once to take a shower.
Now I'm back to the study lounge in the dorm area,
to finish my homework and reading that's due tomorrow.
There's less people than usual today,
it's kinda nice.
I've finished studying and I'm going home
It's past 2am, but there's still quite a number of people
everyone working hard.
There are days like this where I don't finish studying till really late
and sometimes it's hard, but
being surrounded by my peers who are smart and inspiring,
taking really fun courses,
makes me really appreciate the opportunity to be here.
UCLA is known for being excellent both in academics and sports.
Many of my friends actually work hard not just in academics, but in sports too.
Each day I'm inspired to work harder and harder.

There's a few ways of doing it, there's re-marketing where your banner would actually follow someone
around on whichever website he goes to, he still sees your banner.

It is free advertising,
because it's just following you and you only pay when you click on it.
Exactly, you don't pay per impression so that's incredible.
It's great for brand awareness.Yes and the Google paid ads it also works but it's expensive
for in my line where you have to put the high end brand names,
you're competing with people that are prepared to pay a lot per click.
and what about YouTube advertising, because that's relatively cheap in South Africa at the moment.
