This is really tasty.

(Numerous great tips on trips)

(Kim Sook, Sung Sikyung)

Travel is war. Battle Trip!

We're continuing our

one year anniversary special this week.

- A solo trip to Jeju-do. / - Trip to Jeju-do.

- It's a host special. / - That's right.

One year anniversaries are very significant.

An entire year is a very meaningful time.

I'm very thankful that our show is well-beloved.

I hear people watch Battle Trip before going on trips.

- I know. / - How great is that?

I've got a feeling that

next year around this time,

we'll be able to extravagantly host

our second year anniversary.

It'll be a good idea to have a host special every year.

That'll be great.

All I need is a shooting range.

If there's a shooting range, everything is good.

- Will you do it again next year? / - Of course.

It'll be an automatic next time.

To celebrate our anniversary,

we held a travelling survey.

Ranging from people in their 20s to 60s,

1,104 people participated.

As you know, Jeju-do ranked 1st

among domestic locations.

Gangwon-do came 2nd.

- It's a great place. / - The water is amazing.

But on average, people in their 20s to 40s

preferred Jeju-do.

People 50 and above preferred Gangwon-do.

We have an interesting result from the survey.

People in their 20s preferred urban tours.

People in their 20s preferred urban tours.

- Tours? / - City.

Scenery ranked second and restaurants came third.

Eating is third?

Viewers 50 and above preferred scenery first,

cultural and historical sites second...

- Is eating third? / - And hot springs third.

- Hot springs? / - That's right.

Many people capture the scenery through pictures.

- You're right. / - It's common.

The results vary based on age but also by region.

Among viewers who prefer water sports,

almost half of them came from Daegu.

Viewers who doesn't prefer water sports...

- Are from Jeju-do. / - From Jeju-do.

They see the ocean too much.

- It's always there. / - Water surrounds them.

It's like trying to entice Busan people with raw fish.

- They see it all the time. / - Take it away.

That's right. They always see the ocean.

I look forward to ensuring

that Battle Trip will continue

being an informative signpost...

- For viewers who love to travel. / - To be the guide.

We're continuing our solo trips to

Jeju-do from last week.

Last week, Sikyung pitifully imitated Choi Bulam.

- He was Sung Bulam. / - That's right.

- Sung Bulam. / - That kind of sounds...

- Sounds like a temple. / - Doesn't it seem enlightening?

They have a greeting that sounds similar in Buddhism.

- Sung Bulam. / - Sung Bulam...

- I guess. / - It has that vibe.

To be honest, Lee Hwijae's trip wasn't bad either.

Even now, I'm very satisfied.

But you don't know your vote count, right?

- I don't. / - I saw his score.

Sook is the only one that knows about it.

But still, I...

- I'm extremely satisfied. / - No matter how bad I do...

I think I can easily win against Hwijae.

I know his score.

But personally...

(I can only laugh)

Today, Kim Sook and San E will be going.

- Where will you... / - I'm slightly worried.

Sikyung ate a lot.

- I was funny too. / - You were funny.

You had a solid concept.

Lee Hwijae focused on healing.

He went to see dolphins.

I didn't get to see any. I saw $30 worth of seagulls.

He even surfed. He's done all the hot stuff.

For people looking for more stuff to do in Jeju-do,

I did try to eat here and there but in comparison...

- It wasn't much. / - Your modesty is worrying me.

- She eats seven meals a day. / - Also...

I do have something prepared.

It has never been introduced before.

I'm the first one to introduce it.

It's wedding portraits.

That's how far I'm going to say.

- That's how far I'm going to say. / - Well.

- She wore a dress. / - Why are you doing that?

It's self-fulfilling.

People are getting married later in life.

But women want to wear

a wedding dress during their prime.

So they want to wear it while they're in their 20s.

- I see. / - I know I'm a little late.

Isn't it too late?

I'm at my prime right now.

- Who? / - I'm 43.

Those who are younger can go take them now.

I'm at my youngest age now, so I took them now.

How about San E?

Unlike the other hosts,

I focused on computers and VR.

For now, all I will reveal is 1m.

- What's that? / - What's 1m?

You went fishing, right?

You caught something 1m long, right?

- I've drank a liter once. / - Of course.

I'll offer 1m as a hint for now.

Regardless, the top winner will be revealed today.

The winner will be getting a present.

- I want it. / - Hwijae knows my voting score.

- Hwijae doesn't know his own. / - I don't know mine.

- Kim Sook knows. / - Only I know.

San E knows Kim Sook's votes.

It will conclude with me...

- Knowing his score. / - Sikyung will know.

- Then we'll know the final score. / - At the same time.

- All four results will be revealed. / - I'm nervous.

- I will be in tears. / - Yes.

As usual, we have 100 people

in the audience who will judge us fairly.

- Nice to meet you. / - Welcome.

- Welcome. / - Make it fair, everyone.

- Who will go first today? / - Thank you.

- Let's present in order. / - Okay.

The married person should go first.

- The married person? / - The wedding pictures.

I believe that no one who travelled to Jeju-do

has had a packed trip as I have.

Alright. Please shout out your introduction.

Let's depart to the hottest places in Jeju-do...

- With Kim Sook. / - Yes.

The color of the water is so pretty.

(Only on Battle Trip)

(Jeju-do Trip Course)

Travel is war.

Battle Trip!

Wasn't that a camel?

Jeju-do. I love Jeju-do.

(I'm finally at Jeju-do)

It's just like Hawaii.

It's the perfect place to travel alone.

I will show you what Jeju-do has to offer.

(The blue sea is calling to me)

I'm a bit different from others.

I have a house in Jeju-do.

- Right. You own a house there. / - It's her home.

- I won't just wander about. / - It's abandoned, I hear?

- What? / - It's abandoned house.

Good. This must be my car.

This is all I need.

The keys, please.

The budget has been decided by a nation-wide vote.

It's pretty thick.

Can I use all of this to eat?

I can make this last three days.

- That's because you own a home. / - It's possible.

There are a lot of food trucks too.

Cafes as well.

I'll go where the youth go.

Look at this.

(I'm going to eat everything Jeju-do has to offer)

Take a look at this.

It's three in one.

The presentation is amazing.

This is another photo zone.

Women definitely travel to more scenic places.

- It's very pretty. / - We make the most of it.

Let's go, my faithful steed.

We have to move quickly.

We have to visit more locations.

Alright. Whenever I travel to Jeju-do,

the first thing to do is to eat this.

For breakfast.

It's perfect to eat on an empty stomach in the morning.

You can travel as you eat.

It's quite amazing.

I'm getting excited.

This is a real valuable tip.

You must know this.

Spicy pork stew is the best on an empty stomach.

(Jeju International Airport to Jocheon)

People are stopping by to buy some.

Hope they haven't run out.

- That looks good. / - This is the first place I visit...

When I go to Jeju-do.

- It's a bit chewy, right? / - That's right.

These are the barley buns and mugwort buns.

I see adzuki beans.

There are whole beans.

This is it.

Hello.

- Oh, my. / - Yes, it's me. Hello.

- What was your last name, Sook? / - It's Kim Sook.

I'm pleased to meet you.

- Have the prices risen? / - Yes, they have.

They have, right? How much were they before?

They went up by 10 cents.

When did it happen?

- This year. / - It happened on January 1st.

It went up to 60 cents.

- It's only 60 cents? / - It was too cheap.

Then I'll have a barley bun,

a barley bun with adzuki bean paste,

and a mugwort bun. I'll take one each.

How long has it been since this place was established?

It started with our grandfather here so...

- It's been over 40 years. / - Over 40 years.

My parents' generation used to buy them by boxes.

Then how much are they altogether?

- $2. / - 60 cents...

$2. Here you go.

I've been craving this so much.

I've been really craving these.

Try that one first.

It went straight into her mouth without a thought.

This mugwort bun is my favorite.

- This is it. / - That must be good.

You have to eat things like this during spring.

- It's so good. / - It sure is.

There are many young bachelors here.

Come and get married here, Sook.

- Pardon? / - Come get married.

Really?

Well, I did come prepared.

There are a lot of customers.

Hello, everyone. Please place your orders.

A box of mugwort buns, please.

- It's all ready for you. / - Is it?

Got it.

- What? / - You bought it?

- This is a must. / - With your own money?

Yes. With my own money.

You need to buy a box. I should eat this quickly.

I came out so quickly.

This is a personal expense.

I only spent $2 of my budget.

I'll leave it right next to me like a boyfriend.

It'll leave it right here. Right here.

You seated some buns instead of a boyfriend?

Yes, I need something like this.

Hello.

What is that?

I strongly believe that eating requires

a measure of dignity.

(Kim Sook's personal table)

Take a look.

And you laughed at me for what I did.

Huh?

What are you doing?

I took a bite already.

I thought they gave this to me.

But I took a bite as soon as I bought it.

(It is the happy aroma of mugwort buns)

The adzuki bean paste is amazing.

You have to eat it when it's hot.

Imagine eating freshly made buns

on your own personal chair and table.

Let me show you the barley bun.

- It's about this big. / - Why is it so big?

This is the wheat bun.

This is the original wheat bun.

Gosh, it feels so chewy. You can see it.

(Awesome)

You get more flavor as you chew.

It goes very well with jam.

It'll be great to keep on the side.

It's also great with cream cheese.

It's very tasty with a bit of butter as well.

It's great. This barley bun.

But if you open it up, there's adzuki paste inside.

This bean paste actually a bit different

from the paste inside the mugwort bun.

What I recommend and like the most is

the mugwort bun.

Moms used to bring these back

whenever they go to Jeju-do.

Mothers tend to enjoy them with instant coffee.

It's so good.

I usually prefer salty, spicy and very sweet flavors.

But every now and then, it's a good idea

to clear your taste buds.

So in the mornings on empty stomach,

a barley bun is just perfect.

This is what happiness is.

(But by the way)

It might look weird sitting here.

That only cost 60 cents.

You can eat 100 of them if you don't go shooting.

Now that breakfast is taken care of,

it's time to figure out lunch.

It's different every day.

We need to stick to this and see.

I'll take a look at something new in Jeju-do.

There are a lot of food trucks as well.

But are they different from the food trucks in Seoul?

They are because they use local ingredients.

It's on a whole another level.

- There are a lot. / - I took the pictures myself.

- You ate all that? / - Such pretty pictures.

It's starting today.

I'm so lucky.

"Let's meet soon." That's right, let's meet soon.

Just a moment.

Hurry. We don't have time.

How long do they go on for?

It's from 1 to 6 o'clock.

Food trucks don't come out daily.

The locations always change.

You have to follow on social media

and find the location.

- You have to track them. / - Sometimes...

They don't operate.

You have to check.

Great location.

Food trucks tend to be located

at spots with great views.

- Always? / - Yes.

I could eat the plates and all at that location.

There it is.

It's in a lovely location.

If there are a lot of cars parked nearby...

That's possible because of social media.

(The first food truck is in a spot with a great view)

Let me see.

Down there looks good.

Hello.

Do you have the tortillas starting today?

- Yes. / - Bravo, good timing.

It's so nice that I would eat the plate, right?

- Of course. / - I'll take that one.

There's oil pasta with top shell and baby clams.

- What should I eat today? / - The shrimp.

Let's go for the shrimp!

- Here's $11.50. / - Yes.

- Thank you. / - Sure.

- Are you a married couple? / - Yes.

I'm from Seoul. My husband is from Jeju-do.

- How did you meet? / - At a restaurant in Seoul.

I came to Jeju-do with him.

That's awesome as a married couple.

- This is my dream. / - I love it.

- Having a carrot bar is my dream. / - A carrot bar?

My dream is to have a carrot bar in Gujwa.

I bought a house on Jeju-do to live in.

- Really? / - Yes.

You should move down here then.

- But I have so much work. / - You're so busy.

- Rose pasta? / - Yes.

- They put the pasta in that? / - It's a tortilla.

- It's served in a tortilla? / - A tortilla bowl.

(She's setting up in a spot with a nice view)

Not a fisherman.

She waits for the food.

I'm a food fighter.

(Laughing)

Did you set up your own table

to eat in front of the ocean?

The food's here. It's here!

- It's here? / - Here you go.

It looks kind of scary.

- It's big. / - It tastes more like...

Lobster instead of shrimp.

It has a deeper flavor.

It tastes very classy.

It tastes more like lobster than shrimp.

It's chewier, the texture is great.

The aroma spreads throughout your mouth.

It has a lingering lobster aroma.

- It'd be great for couples, right? / - Right.

Wrap the pasta like this.

I'm happy.

What's that?

You don't need all that. A person should eat.

What's the use in that?

- See? There are many couples. / - You have to eat.

There were many couples.

(Fuming the energy of love)

They were wearing matching clothes.

All of those couples were envious of me.

When you sit down, say "push."

They understand English because

they're from Australia.

"Up" is to stand up.

Let's try this.

(He rides the camel)

There's a seat belt?

This is for safety reasons.

How much is a camel?

We sent three to Seoul Grand Park...

There are camels in Seoul Grand Park?

I've been there but I've never seen camels.

There are several and each of them

were sold for $65,000.

- How much? / - $65,000 per camel.

That's expensive.

At $8, camel tracking is cheaper than I thought.

It's not bad, right?

- Yeah. / - Be good to me.

Orabang, walk on.

Orabang and I are walking as one.

We're going on a hike.

(Swaying)

It's hard to ride a camel, unless you're at a desert.

Riding a horse is fun

but riding a camel is pretty spectacular.

I don't remember seeing a camel before.

This is the first time seeing a camel for me.

Even just seeing them is a pretty unique experience.

There's only one hump.

(These camels only have one hump)

(Interesting camel encyclopedia)

(Camels can have one or two humps)

(One hump are usually in Oceania and North Africa)

(Two humps are usually in West Asia and Arabia)

Camels from Australia have only one hump.

When camels walk,

they move left front leg with left back leg

and right front with right back.

They move, left, right...

Look at that.

- What was that? / - What?

The same leg...

They move the same side together.

That's fascinating.

- Yeah. / - They move like this.

Like this...

- They walk like this. / - Same side together.

(A Mongolian man who works here)

Orabang, wait.

(It's not stopping)

Wait.

Orabang, wait.

(Using swag like the rapper that he is)

(The camel wouldn't stop walking)

This feels great.

This is very unique.

This was fun.

Thank you, Orabang.

Thank you.

Good-bye, Orabang.

(See you next time)

Travel is war.

Battle Trip!

Trip! Say it. Trip!

Trip!

There are a lot of things to do in Jeju-do.

This is so good.

I came to Jeju-do for the host special of Battle Trip.

But we're always special.

It's always special.

I just did what I liked to do.

I ate what I wanted to eat.

I saw what I liked to see.

And I did what I liked to do.

- The most important thing is... / - That game museum...

Was the best.

You don't have to do what everyone says is good.

Do what you like and what you want.

That's the most important thing.

San E's trip to Jeju-do

is over here.

Hooray!

(San E's trip in Jeju-do, the end)

(San E's special Jeju-do trip with swag)

(Total spent, $90, $11 leftover)

(A unique travel course in Jeju-do)

That was something new again.

I could tell San E had a lot of fun the whole time.

Right. The comics, waffles, games and VR.

I heard you didn't want to leave

the computer museum.

They dragged me out and told me we'd come again.

And I couldn't see it ever again.

The pizza was $59.

That's pretty much half of his budget.

They sell smaller sizes too, right?

They have small sizes.

If it's a food I really like,

I would order 1m of it.

If you are there as two guys,

it'd be fun to enjoy a 1m pizza.

- That sounds good. / - When else...

- Could you do that? / - You can take the leftovers.

- Yeah. / - Eat it again at home.

San E, go ahead.

Are you ready to cast a vote?

Yes!

Take out your phones and

put your hands up in the air.

Press the button

and make some noise.

(A trip planned for solo travellers)

(What will the judges choose?)

Only Sikyung can check the votes for San E, right?

- Yes. / - It's here.

It's already here?

Only Sikyung can see that.

(Serious)

It seems like you are looking at a warrant.

He looks like a prosecutor.

(He looks serious in a black suit)

- I get it. / - I guess it's high.

It's Battle Trip's one year anniversary.

The four hosts went on a trip themselves.

4 different special trips to Jeju-do.

What did the judges choose?

Spin it!

- I've never done this before. / - I'm holding...

This board because...

- I think I'm not the winner. / - Hwijae.

- I may not be the winner. / - We don't know it yet.

- What? / - What?

No one got 100 votes.

- What? / - What's this?

- 8, 7? / - What's this?

What's going on?

Hwijae is out.

San E is out.

It's us two left.

Hwijae is out.

San E is out.

It's us two left.

It's use two left.

Only two of us are left.

Congratulations.

This is so rare. Thank you very much.

I'm so envious.

Whenever she goes on a trip, she wins the battle.

- Thank you! / - Sook.

I could have done more things if I weren't on a diet.

I'm sorry about that.

Wear your wedding dresses and go there!

- There are great places for photos. / - That's right.

If you put everything we did all together...

- It will make a great trip. / - He's right.

The weather is nice. So you should go to Jeju-do

and have some good time there.

I have bad news about Battle Trip though.

Right.

San E who was in charge of youth for Battle Trip

is leaving our program as of today.

I met a lot of great people here

so I'm sad that I have to leave.

But I still have a lot of things to learn.

I hope I will see you again

after becoming a better person.

I want to come here as a guest...

- Someday. / - After doing whatever you want...

- Join our program again. / - As a guest...

You can go on another trip.

- Will you invite me? / - Of course.

You'll be no. 1.

Please give him a big hand.

By the way, who will be

in charge of youth in our program?

Sikyung, will you do it?

You're the youngest one here now.

Is that what you'll think of me?

We have another special episode for next week.

- Again? / - Yes, it's a special again

- Every episode is special. / - That's right.

San E, do you want to chant

the slogan for the last time?

- Me? / - Yeah. Come on, yo.

The world is a school. Life is a journey.

Battle Trip!

(Next week)

This place is so pretty.

(Han Chaea, Ha Jaesuk)

(Eddy Kim, Roy Kim, Park Jaejung)

(Langkawi , Malaysia, Island of Brown Eagle)

(Actresses playing a willow pipe in a tropical paradise)

(The world's top 5 sunset)

(The land of gold, Brunei)

(A trip for friendship)

(Adventurous tours in the jungle)

This is incredible.

Climbing Doi Langka Luang with Summit Wild Camp - Duration: 21:29.

Good morning! I'm Nick. This is Khun Namtarn.

We're now going to try and climb Thailand's 5th...

or 6th or 7th-highest mountain, depending who you talk to

Doi Langka Luang

2 days ago we climbed Doi Luang Chiang Dao

which is Thailand's 3rd-highest mountain

and we were with about 300 other people

and today we're doing this and I think we're going to be the only people on this mountain

We're planning to camp on top

with the snakes and the tigers

all alone. What could possibly go wrong?

Now we are at the entrance

of Doi Langka Luang Nature Trail

at a radar station.

The sign says the length is 17km.

People say that the scenery is very beautiful, so let's go!

Last we stayed at the far end of this walk

Ban Mae Ton Luang

The village chief kindly drove us over this morning

so we could start here, which is a radar station

so that we've got a different route down from the one we're taking up

We're on a downhill already

There'll be plenty of uphill later

Just on the first big ascent of the walk

It was nice and cool at the bottom but it doesn't take long to heat up eh

Su Su! (fight fight!)

So we got to the top of the first peak

after about an hour and fifteen minutes

That's where we've come from

down there. The radar station

and this is where we're heading, through the trees

The next peak

The national park staff have put these little yellow squares along the route, which is quite helpful

but to be honest it's quite well worn anyway so

it's not really a problem following the trail at the moment

Maybe this is a wild chestnut.

I'm not sure what it's called in English.

I don't know too

Some sort of nut

That's as much as I know

It's from this very big tree.

It's 10 past 11 and we're about halfway

so we're going quite well

and there's some very impressive peaks up to the left

I don't think we're going up that but I'm not sure yet

Pha Ngom 150m. Campsite 50m

When I said I wasn't sure if we were climbing that peak

on the left

The answer's "Yes"

And it's hard. It's all loose dirt and really steep

We've got the lightest camping gear

and cooking gear that we could get hold of

but we're still carrying about 8 litres of water

At least we started with 8 litres of water

cuz I think the biggest danger of something like this is getting dehydrated

So at least that will get easier as we drink it

So there we go. We're on Doi Pha Ngom.

1700m

and on top, are the remains of a Thai flag

and there in the distance I believe is where we're headed

Doi Langka Luang

Now we've reached Doi Pha Ngom

1700m high

We're heading to Doi Langka Luang summit , this way

There's Namtarn, coming down from that peak

and there's where we'll be descending tomorrow

and there's where we're heading now

We've got one big valley to go until we get there

There's a lot of burnt trees up here

I'm not quite sure why. I'm not sure if it's been done deliberately or

why they would do it or if it's

even lightning. I don't know.

If you know, please let us know.

So we're not on the last big ascent

and I'm going for my secret weapon

which is Peachy apple, mango and banana purée

baby food

Full of everything you need. Let's give it a go.

Mmmm...

Calories! It's calories, right? Come on.

Looking back to Doi Pha Ngom, where we just crossed earlier

It's quarter to three, and we're getting near the top now.

Just looking back where we've been

I think a lot of that haze is smoke from all the forests that they're burning

which is a bit of a shame. Apparently it gets worse as well

later in the season towards March, April

We've found ourselves at this camp spot which we might use later

So we need to turn a bit of a sharp left

and finish off the ascent

and see if there's anywhere to camp up there, with more of a view.

Just round the corner, this nice little statue of Buddha

Might have to say some prayers in a minute

How are you feeling?

Neuai (tired)

Me too

We made it finally

Just past 4 o'clock so we've been walking for 8 hours

There's the radar station in the distance

Here's the sorry remains of a Thai flag

That's where the final ascent was from

There's a very tired Namtarn

and here's a little shrine marking the summit

So we'll set up the tent right here I think

It ain't pretty but it's up

Will it stand tonight's hurricane? That's the thing.

It'll be alright

Someone's about to pass out

not from climbing a mountain but from blowing up a mattress

On wood-gathering duties while Namtarn sets up camp

on top there.

Good morning! It's 6:48

and the weather is windy and cloudy

See the clouds whistling over the trees behind us

So we're going to get packed and make and early start, before it gets hot.

Doi Langka Luang, 2031m high

Cannot read that one

"Forest of water. Name very high"

(wind noise...)

Namtarn's setting a blinding pace

I think she's in a big hurry to get down now

There in the distance in the cloud, we think is Langka Noi

which is the last peak we'll be climbing today before the final descent

10 past 9. We're making good progress through the jungle.

but we should have brought 10 litres of water and not 8

We're actually on a different route from what we planned but

we're following these red and white ribbons

which are being laid apparently for a race

that somebody's going to do soon

(crazy people)

So following those, and the route that most people have taken before

seems to be further up there

so hopefully we're going to join up again at Langka Noi

Doi Langka Noi, which is the next peak we're heading for

We're actually following the Chiang Mai - Lampang provincial border here

so fingers crossed.

On the other side of this valley...

will be the other route that people take

up there

but I'm quite enjoying this one. A very nice, gentle walk

Up there, Doi Langka Noi. Noi means small

whereas Luang means big

There's a small shrine on there called a "sathup" in Thai

We're told that there's some water up there

We're praying that there is cuz we're getting quite low

If there is I'm going to brew up the best cup of tea I've ever had

Fingers crossed

WATER!... HERE!...WATER!

I am going to drink so much water

Get it down!

Quickly quickly!

all of it

Ahhh.... Nam! (water!)

water!

They've even made a nice pipe for us to drink from. How thoughtful.

Here is the most delicious camping food.

Bread, cheese and bread

How to make a sandwich very easily

cucumber

sandwich mixture

Cheese and cucumber sandwiches, right?

made in the mouth

Tam ari yuu ka? (What are you doing?)

Ab nam (shower). I'm ab namming

Nao mai? (cold?)

I'd like a full shower but it is cold

The best hi-tech, ultralight drinking water bottles on the market

made by Nestlé

Well the path obviously doesn't go down there, does it

so where does it go?

We're on top of Doi Langka Noi

That's where we've come from

Namtarn's had enough I think

There's the view down to the valley

We have a brutal descent waiting for us in a minute

At Baan Mae Dtoon Luang village the main occupation is to growing coffee.

This is a coffee tree.

Now is harvest season. We can see the red beans.

The villagers here will not cut down big trees to grow coffee.

Because coffee needs shade from big trees.

They plant coffee in the forest

Under big tree because coffee doesn't need sunlight a lot

And how are your feet?

Jep maak (hurt a lot)

How are your legs?

Buat maak (ache a lot)

Coffee here is the arabica species

We'll buy some of that at the bottom

We already had it at the beginning, right? And it was very nice

We will show how to make coffee

Oh cool, OK.

And this will be a 3 hour video, right?

Right, let's go. The last bit

Nearly back in civilisation now

Nice broad track that vehicles could come up

So it shouldn't be long

and I know someone who's going to be very pleased to see the end of this

What is this?

This is the flower of Trevesia palmata

Trevesia palmata. Can eat?

Yes can eat. It's bitter

I'm shooting video

Trevesia palmata flowers

Bitter

Is it delicious?

Bitter

If you like bitter it's delicious

Bitter like coffee?

Yeah, bitter like coffee

Really!

We have come from Doi Langka Luang

We're very tired

I went there before when i was young

I went there to catch some insects for sale

We didn't see any animals

(The insects) live in high trees. Now the price has dropped

Now they are farmed

They were exported to Japan. Male and female bred there

So now they don't have the same value as before

Tell him he's the first human we've seen for 2 days

You're the first human we've seen for 2 days

In the forest nothing to see

My wife is coming now

Pea Eggplant (bak kang)

In the northern language it's called "bak keng"

You can see them in green curry; small seeds like nuts

Looks like the green nut in green curry (eggplant)

Ah yeah, I know

Very big tree. Normally it's small

But in the jungle, very big

We made it! Yes!

Happy New Year?

That was 3 weeks ago

Back already

Will you show us how coffee is made?

Yes

She will make coffee

It's Khun Malee, who owns the homestay

and she's busy washing coffee beans

Red berry, right?

She put in this machine for cutting the skin off

Last night put the water in here

She soaks them overnight

Thank you for watching. It was an awesome hike but...

quite a serious hike, so if you're going to do it...

you need to be fit like us

and take a lot of water

2 litres per person per day

plus 2 litres for the camp

because it's a long way from humanity up there

and we didn't see anyone for 2 days and it's heavy going

and it's hot, so be careful

If you want to see more videos like this please subscribe

and I'll be putting the routes on a couple of sites

so look in the video description for that

and Khun Namtarn is going to do a blog

Yeah, maybe Pantip

So we'll put a link to the blog as well

down below

See you next time. Bye

134 -Sharing files within a group - Duration: 2:22.

When you create groups as we saw in the prior video, it is also possible to create a locker.

A locker is a digital storage, kind of like Dropbox or Google Drive, where students can

share files with each other, and store them.

If you are the instructor or coach, you can always access the locker of any group, and

also share files with that group in that way.

This is easier than emailing the file to them perhaps.

The lockers have an unlimited size, so students can freely store the information that they

require.

Information in that locker is only shared between the students in that group, as well

as the course administrators.

Students from one group cannot have access to files from another group.

You can add the locker setting, while you create the groups, or you can do so after

you created them.

Let's consider that: where you are going back to add a locker to existing groups.

Click on the dropdown next to the category name, and then click on "Edit Category".

Scroll to the bottom of the page, and there you see "Setup Lockers".

Select the checkbox, and then click on "Save".

If we were setting groups from the very beginning, this option was available as part of the set

up procedure.

Once you have set up the lockers, let's try to access them now, as the instructor.

Click on "Groups", and then go to the category you wish to view.

There you will see listed the names of all the groups, and you can access all their lockers

individually, by clicking on the link to go into it.

For students, this will appear the same, but they will only see their own group, of course.

Instructors see all the groups.

In the locker, files can be uploaded, new files can be created, folders can be created,

and the group members within that locker can be emailed.

So in summary, use lockers to legally share documents between your group members, for

example journal articles, and so forth.

These might be necessary for the groups to complete group assignments, workshops or other

activities in your course.
