THIS HUGE BRIGHT SUN THERE
AND YOU'RE TRYING
TO CAPTURE SOMETHING ELSE
AND YOU CANNOT DO IT.
SO IN SPACE, THERE ARE
HUGE CONTRASTS BETWEEN
THE FULL DAY AND THE FULL NIGHT.
THERE IS NOTHING IN THE MIDDLE
THERE, AND IT'S VERY DIFFICULT
TO TRANSITION.
FOR EXAMPLE, WHEN WE DO
A NIGHTTIME TIME LAPSES
AND WE SET UP THE CAMERA
FOR NIGHT, AS SOON AS WE GET
THE SUN, JUST A LITTLE BIT
OF SUN OUT IT'S TOTALLY
WASHED OUT.
AND I WOULD LOVE, FOR EXAMPLE,
TO SHOW THIS TRANSITION
AS WE SEE IT WITH THE EYE
THAT ADJUSTS CONTINUOUSLY.
THIS TRANSITION FROM NIGHT
TO DAY, THIS IS SOMETHING
