Faces of Scotland: exploring the nightlife in a Sprinter van - Duration: 2:28.
Scotland not only lives by the day but also for the nights.
They have really a lot to offer.
I think for the whole crew meeting Beth, the ballet dancer from Glasgow, was one of the most special encounters we had.
When we performed "Swan Lake" it was a stage of my life.
I was progressing and I got promoted on stage after the performance.
With the curtains still up, so the director Chris came up and spoke with the mic and I was thinking:
What's going on?
And he said that everyone cheered and it was pretty amazing.
I think when you feel overwhelmed, when you feel overwhelmed with applause
and when you feel the accompany behind you and
with you feeling the same moment is speechless – you can't put that into words.
After leaving Glasgow we went up north to meet Scott,
a professional bagpipe player.
He invited us to one of his concerts.
We were really blown away by the whole atmosphere.
I quite like people to think of Scotland as a friendly and open place
and beautiful scenery and sunshine every day.
That doesn't happen.
It's just people having fun and being really friendly.
My happiest moment in life is probably always playing the bagpipes, playing it in front of around eight thousands people.
That was one of the best moments of my life.
Looking back to all the characters we've met and to all the stories we've heard,
this trip was definitely one for the books.

The 70th anniversary in Maranello ! - Duration: 6:23.
Tell me, haven't you forgotten something?
I'd like to think you know noticed 2017 was a rich year as far as car events go
2017 is also the birthday
of something quite particular, that has shaped the turn of events
throughout the world, all year long!
Considering I'm a nice guy, I'll let you think about it
BINGO !
2017 marks the 70th anniversary of the most mythical italian brand
Dare I say it, Ferrari
Yep !
1947 is the date, the date where the first car
struck by a prancing horse on a yellow background appears in the world
I'm talking about the Ferrari 125s
Which was "the start" this year, paired with the last Ferrari from Maranello
the Ferrari LaFerrari Aperta
It's "simply" the topless version of the Ferrari LaFerrari
Really exclusive, built specifically to celebrate the 70th anniversary
Ok, I can see you coming a mile away " yeah but no the LaFerrari Aperta is not the last Ferrari"
" there has been the 812 Superfast, or even the Portofino" blablabla
OK - You're not wrong But you're not entirely right either
Because they HAD to pick a flagship car for the occasion
And between you and I, I don't see any other car able to fill in those shoes
So basically 2017 has been filled with numerous events all over the world
in every country the brand has a dealership (slightly exagerating here)
Wether it's Malaysia, Indonesia
the USA, and so on... even here in France, at the famous Paul Ricard circuit
BTW, I was there!
But also Belgium, the UK... anyways!
What about the mother land, Italy?!
Because yes, one could logically hope that Ferrari's 70th anniversary celebrations
at home, in Italye, in la Casa, would be completely unforgettable
Welllll... yes and no
I mean, the brand sure did want to celebrate it, but perhaps in a more intimate way
OK a bit of bad faith from me, it was still grandiose despite the rain!
Rallys from all over Europe, from Switzerland, the UK, Monaco, rallyed Maranello
With a bunch of cars being showcased along the way
From all over Europe, and even the world! Like this Japanese F40 - pretty incredible!
There even was a Concours d'Elegance on sunday Not bad
However, the slight opacity of the events and the lack of communication
Demotivated more than one to do the trip
Myself included, sadly
And trust me, I know some hardcore tifosi!
So even though I wasn't there physically
Trust me, my heart was there
But more! I've been sent pictures and videos etc
So I thought I'd share with you a bit of it all, but in a slightly different way
How about a "TOP FIVE" from the best cars in Maranello that week-end?
What do you think?
Allright, let's start with the best of the best as far as I'm concerned, the blue Tour de France LaFerrariAperta
For many reasons
For starters, the colour. So yes, it was red at first and has been re-painted afterwards
Because Ferrari only authorized 5 colors, so this is an aftermarket colour, if you will
Second, the FXX-K wheels. Which are insane and go with the car SO WELL
just like all the other little details that are simply gorgeous on this car
And, to end things, a little detail I find fascinating
Which I believe many have missed But now you'll know
Regarding the plate number of the car, which is 47-17
Ideas?
47? 17? I've been talking about that since the beginning of the video to be honest...
Indeed, it's 1947-2017 !! And I think that little wink
to both the brand and to the 70th anniversary, on a car BUILT for the 70th is...
Well, basically, I don't see how you go cooler than that
In 2nd position there is another swiss car (seems like I like Switzerland for some reason)
As a big Ferrari Enzo fan, I don't see how I couldn't have added one in my top 5
the latter being completely prejudiced
With this gorgeous swiss Ferrari Enzo
So yeah, there have been quite a few throughout the weekend
But this one in particular for many reasons
One of them being its chocolate interior that fitted perfectly the car
Or the fact that she always was driving around with an F50!
I find that badass
3rd place, the yellow Ferrari 412P
For its ressemblance with the Ferrari 330p, for which she is a client derivative
Like a road-version for the clients, something like that
Very few around the world (no more than 5)
But what has seduced me throughout the week-end, and out of all the pictures that I've sen
Is aesthetically, how the car was showcased: a yellow car, on the Fiorano racetrack
on a huge SHELL logo... I find that... visually stunning!
4th position the Ferrari F12 TDF "Ecurie Francorchamps"
You might've noticed but Tailor Made takes an important role
as far as my favorite cars go, or in my TOP 5s
This one in particular is the perfect exemple of extreme bespoke, and good taste one too!
The car was imagined to look like the Ferrari 330P4
who run the 24 Hours of Le Mans in 1967, chassis 0856 Now you know everything!
Last but not least! the Ferrari 488 GTB Pioneer
Once again, a Tailor Made
so it's a car I actually know quite a bit So do you
I've seen it driving quite a few times Wether on the track or on open roads
And I frankly think it's amazing
with its blue & white Pioneer livery And bronze / golden wheels like that
Livery borrowed to a Ferrari 308 GTB Groupe IV
Who was quite popular back then, with a bunch of victories in the 80s
as far as rallyes go, notably on the ex Tour de France, known nowadays as the "Tour Auto"
Which she won in... like in the 80s. Also, the 488 was presented in 2016 at the Tour Auto
There you go! BTW, I know this list lacks a bit of classic / vintage Ferrari... I'm well aware
But what can I say... moderns are the ones that make my heart beat the fastest!
I hope you'll enjoy this new type of format! Don't hesitate to tell me what you thought of it
Maybe how to make it better? Tips if you have any?
Don't forget the usual "likes and shares" which, honestly, are a good thing and help the channel :)
On that note, I bid you farewell! See ya!
