Hello my friends and welcome to another Tuesday of tutorial!
I am Leonardo Pereznieto and today we will just doodle
and have fun!
In the tutorial about two weeks ago, in which I gave different
techniques for shading with ink,
many of you told me in the comments that the one that you liked the most was this
doodle technique.
So, we will do more of that today,
with the addition of this spray bottle, to give a special effect.
You know that I always like to do be experimenting.
If we spray some water on the ink, it will run a little bit.
And it may create nice effects!
Or it may destroy the drawing [laughter].
I leave it that up to you, to decide.
And it´s ready!
That was really fun to do!
I will be making about 5 sketches today.
Next, let´s do an elephant!
By the way, this is an excellent exercise to losen the hand,
and any serious art school will have you doodle.
However, in recent times, many researches have shown that
it make if, great benefits.
And there´s even a successful book, called "The Doodle Revolution".
And some big companies, are even hiring specialists, to help their staff doodle,
as described in the book, it turns out that doodling can free up memory,
both short term and long term.
It can also improve your general retention of ideas and concepts
and increase your attentions span.
It can give you more a creative insight.
And generally, it expands your mind.
Of course it is also very helpful in working out new ideas.
Ok so in regards of how you should doodle, there are not really
a lot of laws on how you need to do it because doodling should be very free.
And you should really do what to do [laughter].
But generally speaking the idea is to do it very losely... with not a lot
of thought to do it; with no worries; trying to do a continuos flow, so
not lifting the pen or pencil off the paper too much,
and without regard to detail.
It looks pretty simple and that is because it IS pretty simple! [laughter].
I think that´s the easiest way of sketching.
It is so simple that we all did it when we were about three [laughter].
This is really fun! Let´s do another one.
This time, I will do it a little bit differently and start with some mood
lines or action lines.
That´s a ballerina and now we doodle on top of them.
We construct the shape on top of our lines.
As opposed to the other examples where I started just doodling out
and building the shape and volume as I went.
If you spray the water from one side of the paper, you may
control the direction of the splash, to give more movement to the drawing.
Ok, let´s do a last one!
I can doodle all day, but let´s wrap it up with this one.
I want to do a dancer, a sort of hip hopper, who is really
enjoying his dance.
As we said, the doodling has no detail.
But we should be able to capture the essence, the personality
and the mood, of our subject.
We started doing it a bit even, a bit flat and now we go over some areas
again, to create the shadows and volume.
It´s ready!
If you enjoyed it, please give it a LIKE! share it to your friends
and subscribe to Fine Art-Tips.
And I will see you, on Tuesday ;)

Dick Cheney Is Ready To Start A War With Russia - Duration: 5:26.
Everyone's favorite war criminal Dick Cheney is back in the news telling us that, "What
Russia did in the US election could be considered an act of war."
Dick Cheney made that statement at the Economic Times Global Business Summit in New Delhi
over the weekend, basically saying that yeah we know for certain, "We know for certain
that the Russian government interfered with the US election.
They used cyber warfare tactics," this is what Dick Cheney said, "To get in there and
undermine Hillary Clinton's campaign, and this is what helped elect Donald Trump, but
I'm still a Trump supporter.
I'm proud to be a Trump supporter," Dick Cheney tells us, "But, what Russia did was clearly
an act of war."
Now, there are so many crazy things in Dick Cheney's speech that he gave at this Economic
Summit, that I don't even know where to begin, but let's start with the first one.
This act of war, as you call it Dick Cheney, is still under investigation.
For the love of God man, you already got thousands of American soldiers, and hundreds of thousands
of Iraqis killed because you didn't wait for proper intelligence.
Will you just relax on the calls to war against Russia right now?
Furthermore, if we do find evidence that they did interfere, and that it was directed by
the Russian government do you really think a ground war or an air war against a country
that has as many nuclear weapons as we do, is a smart idea?
I agree that if it turns out Russia did this there needs to be consequences, but those
can not be military consequences, because we're dealing with a military that's likely
as strong as ours, and it will not end well for anyone.
Dick Cheney doesn't care.
All Dick Cheney sees an opportunity for more war.
By the way, do you know what Russia has a lot of?
Maybe not as much as Saudi Arabia, but they've got a hell of a lot of oil.
That's why Dick Cheney's pushing for a war with Russia.
Furthermore, we still have to wait for the results of all of these investigations.
We do not know for sure who hacked in, who directed that person to hack in, who they
communicated with, what members of the Trump administration met with them, were they aware
of it.
There are to many questions that remain to be answered, so let's just shut up with the
calls to go to war.
Then you get into the fact that Cheney says, "I'm still a proud Trump supporter."
You've already admitted that he kind of stole the election with the help of a foreign government,
in your statement, according to you Mister Cheney, but you still support him.
If what you said earlier in your statement is true, that Russia did this, helped Trump
win, but you still support him do you support treason, because by your own statement, by
definition that's what that would be.
It's a little confusing there Dick Cheney.
I hope maybe you can clarify that for the rest of the American public, but everybody
has to calm down with this Russia mania.
Is it likely that this happened?
Yeah.
You'd have to be pretty thick to not be willing to admit that at this point.
We know there was a hacking, we know it's linked to a Russian, but we don't know what
the role of that person was.
Was it an individual?
Was it a government operative?
Was it a rogue government operative?
Yeah, we know that it happened, but we have to find all of the connections there.
Once we do we can not just launch a war.
There will be consequences.
Not under Donald Trump obviously, but we get the information maybe we can remove him from
office, but we have to figure something out that doesn't involve any kind of retaliatory
strike from Russia on the United States.
We have to be smart this, because they are, but stop calling for war.
Stop acting like we can solve all of our problems with guns and missals, because we can't.
Dick Cheney, you and your administration prove that.
You lost a massive war in the Middle East, and yeah you did lose.
What did you gain from that?
You idiots couldn't even take out Osama bin Laden.
You had to wait for Obama to come into office and clean up that mess for you.
I suggest that Dick Cheney just go away.
Nobody wants to hear your calls for war.
We know why you want to go in there, to get that Russian oil for your pals at Halliburton,
and we know that we don't know enough to really implicate the Russian government at this point.
We need more information and everybody needs to take a step back, take a deep breath, and
realize that we still have a lot of investigating to
do here.

ICE Retaliates Against Immigrants in Austin After Sheriff Limits Cooperation with Federal Agents - Duration: 5:26.
JUAN GONZÁLEZ: I wanted to talk to Councilman Casar about what happened recently in Austin,
especially with your sheriff.
Last week in Texas, U.S. Magistrate Judge Andrew Austin said in open court that federal
agents had alerted him that ICE would be targeting the area of Austin, Texas.
The raids would be retribution for Travis County Sheriff Sally Hernandez's new policy
that limited cooperation between local and federal authorities.
This is a courtroom recording of ICE agent Laron Bryant being questioned by Judge Austin.
JUDGE ANDREW AUSTIN: There's been questions about whether Austin is being targeted.
Your immediate supervisor, I guess, Agent Shaffer—
LARON BRYANT: Yes, sir.
JUDGE ANDREW AUSTIN: —came and briefed me and the magistrate judge, Judge Lane, that
at the very end of January, that we could expect a big operation, agents coming in from
out of town, there was going to be a specific operation, and it was at least related to
us in that meeting that it was a result of the sheriff's new policy, that this was
going to happen.
Are you aware of that?
LARON BRYANT: Yes, your honor.
JUDGE ANDREW AUSTIN: OK.
And that's the one we heard about where 50-some-odd people were arrested.
LARON BRYANT: Yes, your honor.
JUDGE ANDREW AUSTIN: OK.
My understanding is, what was told us is, one of the reasons that happened is because
the meetings that had occurred between the field office director and the sheriff didn't
go very well.
LARON BRYANT: That's—that's new knowledge to me.
JUDGE ANDREW AUSTIN: OK.
Above your pay grade.
LARON BRYANT: Yes, yes.
JUAN GONZÁLEZ: So, that was the discussion in court, in open court.
Greg Casar, what has been going on with Sally Hernandez, the sheriff there?
And what's been the attempts of the state, as well, to stop the efforts of lawmakers
and elected officials in Austin to maintain a sanctuary city?
GREGORIO CASAR: Well, what we're facing is repression and retaliation against an almost
decade-long campaign to become a welcoming city, a truly welcoming city, for our immigrant
communities.
So, for years, our previous sheriff was deporting more people, helping in deportation of more
people than almost any other sheriff in the country.
And finally, because of campaigns at the city to stop collaborating and cooperating with
the county, campaigns to push that sheriff out, we finally elected a new sheriff.
And on the same day of Trump's inauguration, she announced a policy to significantly reduce
our compliance with voluntary ICE detainers.
It was very shortly thereafter that our governor said he was going to put the hammer down against
Austin.
He pulled over a million-and-a-half dollars in funds that were there to protect children
and veterans in our community.
But we resisted, and we stood strong.
And soon thereafter, we heard there was going to be a targeted ICE operation against our
community.
And in one weekend, over 50 people were arrested.
And ICE denied that there was even an operation going on.
And once we called them out on that, they denied that it was an operation sweeping up
large numbers of people.
They said they were targeting folks.
But it soon became very clear, because my own constituents were being picked up, that
over half the people that they picked up had no criminal history at all and were on no
list whatsoever.
And finally, when we called that political retaliation—that is, politically motivated
law enforcement actions that had nothing to do with public safety and everything to do
with Trump's agenda—ICE denied that vigorously.
And now, in open court, a judge has confirmed what we all know, which is that, unfortunately,
we have a rogue federal agency that is not only tearing families apart, but threatening
our very democracy by taking public safety actions and arresting people for political
purposes.
AMY GOODMAN: You're have second-highest undocumented population in the country in
Texas, only next to California?
GREGORIO CASAR: That's right.
And what makes us different than California is that we are governed by a statewide regime
that is aligned with Trump's politics of mass deportation.
And so, a bill has been filed now.
Because they couldn't pull enough money away to make us submit, they couldn't send
enough ICE agents into our communities to make us submit, now they have filed a bill,
that has passed through the Senate and is now being deliberated by our state House,
to criminalize city elected leaders and county elected leaders who endorse policies that
don't turn our police officers into deportation officers or who won't comply with voluntary
ICE detainers.
And so, they are looking at taking away tens or hundreds of millions of dollars away from
our cities, and from actually criminalizing those elected officials who refuse to submit.
And we're going to continue to refuse to submit, no matter what Jeff Sessions or Greg
Abbott has to say about it.
JUAN GONZÁLEZ: So, in other words, if they pass this bill, Sally Hernandez, the sheriff,
or you, as a councilmember, could be arrested under the new laws that they're proposing
to pass?
GREGORIO CASAR: But the—while that is terrifying on its face, the fact of the matter is, I
believe, it's not only unethical and un-American, but also unlawful.
And so, that's part of why we, as councilmembers from over 30 cities, came together in New
York these last couple of days, to start planning for our litigation strategies and our political
strategies, so that we can't be blackmailed and singled out as individual cities, but,
indeed, they would have to be coming after a huge swath of the American public that live
in our progressive strongholds, in our cities.

Introverts and Friendships - Duration: 4:37.
Hello my friends! Kaitlyn here! And have ever had trouble making or keeping friends?
Do you blame it on your introversion?
Let's talk about it!
(INTRO MUSIC)
Being an introvert and making friends, for me at least, has always been a little difficult.
Now it's combination of my introversion (because I enjoy being alone and doing things
alone that others might enjoy doing with friends) and my social anxiety (I don't know how
to act like a normal human in front of other humans most of the time) and my shyness (I
generally don't think people want to interact with me so I don't initiate social interactions ).
And I've got a video that talks about the differences between those 3 more in depth
if you want to know or if you just need a refresher.
So those 3 things combine to give me a unique friendship experience, but there are some
things I've learned over the years being an introvert and trying to make friends that I thought I'd share with you.
First, there's being "adopted" by an extrovert.
I think introverts have different opinions on this, but some of the ways that I've
been forced out, encouraged out of my comfort zone and my little box is by having
extroverts find me and like me and initiate a friendship with me.
I don't ask people to hang out. Very rarely do I do that.
I want to do fun things with people.
But I feel very self-conscious asking.
And a little bit comes from the feeling that if I make the plans then I can't just decide at the last minute,
like "Hey I'm feeling really socially drained and I just can't do this right now."
Which is very common thing for me to do.
Self-care, man!
But having a few extroverted friends, especially ones that know upfront that I'm an introvert
and can't go 100% for long periods of time, means that they get me out of my books
and my art and into the world to experience new things.
Now I know that some introverts are pretty bitter about extroverts. I was for a long time!
But then I started to see how their differences and when they understood mine as well could make my
life more vibrant and fun and filled with new experiences!
I will say though that it does takes time to find the right extroverts to be friends with.
But, I mean, like with anything.
Everything takes time.
There are going to be people--extrovert or not--who don't respect boundaries or your
need for alone time or self-care and really the best thing to do is just try to figure those people out quickly and then back away!
Second, is introvert on introvert friendship.
I love these kinds of friendships.
Although they can be harder to make sometimes.
Either because many introverts try to pretend to be the "perfect
friend" and really sociable and like up for anything and so you don't realize you
could have this friendship with them.
Or because many introverts just don't get outside of their bubble enough to find another
introvert who they fit with.
BUT this is kind of friendship that I established with Parker before we started dating and it is so important!
What's really beautiful about this is that you can get to point of comfort where you
can spend long periods of time with this person doing your introverted thing and they're
doing their introverted thing.
And essentially, you're spending time with another human being without it draining you.
When I first experienced this, it was life-changing!
I think what many people and really introverts ourselves get wrong about introverts is that
we don't want to or need to be around people.
I mean, humans are social creatures.
And though the kind of interactions we desire can vary from person to person, we still all want to
have meaningful interactions with others!
Not just our cats!
So I hope if you're an introvert struggling to make friends or an extrovert baffled by
someone who you think is cool and you want to be friends with but they seem to be elusive
that you find some hope and insight in this!
Making friends can be hard whether you're an introvert or extrovert! Bleh!
Trust me, it's taken me years and I am still no where near being a master of making friends.
But I have found people that I genuinely find interesting and that I deeply care about and
that I feel comfortable with.
And to me that's what's important. So yay!
Now I want to know what you guys think!
Do you have any interesting friendship stories?
Or do you have more questions about friend-making?
Tell me down in the comments!
Plus remember to like, favorite, share, and subscribe if this video made you smile!
See you guys on Thursday!

Traulsen Refrigerator | G Series at Galatoire's in New Orleans - Duration: 2:47.
Galatoire's you know at 110 years old--
111 years old has a great great history. But
really what makes us who we are in
addition to that is the fact that our
customer base has been coming here for
generations. We--you know I'm biased, but
we truly are a thread in the fabric of
New Orleans and what makes it what it is.
A lot of menus evolved over time. Ours
doesn't. We really are a staple in
people's lives, and they have things that
they associate with us at a certain
standard and then they expect us to hold
that standard and so not changing its
kind of who we are. So right now it is soft
shell season so what I do is we do a
sauteed soft shell with yvonne topping on
it, which is going to be our fresh jumbo
lump crab meat that comes out of the
Gulf. So I'll do a sauteed
soft-shell crab with jumbo lump crab
meat, fresh artichoke hearts, button
mushrooms, and green onions with minuet sauce.
When we did the renovations back
in nineteen ninety eight and nineteen
ninety nine, we made a very conscious
decision to invest into equipment
knowing that that would help our
consistency. So we just went with top of
the line everything. And to us that means Traulsen.
You know when we're holding anywhere
from two thousand to ten thousand
dollars worth of wine in a cooler, the
last thing that we want is overnight it
is for it to go out and then come to
find out that all that wine is now hot
and unsellable. So we put a lot of faith
in our equipment to sustain the life
of our products and we found that Traulsen
has been the best so far. When you
invest in your facility. When you invest
in high-quality equipment like Traulsen
and high quality stoves and ovens and
you're not repairing them, then your team
has the tools that they need to prepare
consistent product. And again, that ties
back to what our mission is: to put out
consistent product and make it just like
it used to be made. What as a
passionate customer who's been coming
here your whole life--what you always
remembered it to be. That's important to us.
So we invest in that.

HEY TRIPPSTERS

From 2010, Full Dark, No stars

Ok, yes, Netflix Original
Stephen King's 1922

of 1922
is about a father and son
who kill
their
wife/ mother
and spend the rest of the story
being haunted, or at least the think they're being haunted

ok

actually opens the door
to a lot of creepy shit
and when it come to Stephen King
creepy is what he does best
There's a few other stories that he's done like
The Green Mile
and Shawshank Redemption
that are also really good
But for me, yeh
The creepy
is the best that he does
So hopefully he will be in on
making it
and they will do it right

you know, doing stuff, and doing it right
and they are basing it on the story
and if you
if you are interested in reading the story
i will link to a place where you can buy it, in the descrption below
Like i said, it's a short story
from the 2010 anthology
Full Dark, No Stars
