The movie starts off with a watery intro and then we meet the main character buck booty
naked.
Moments like this where you notice the main charater's skin is when you see that underneath
all the fleshly armor, there's metal under there.
The film takes place in the distant future.
In the beginning, a human is murdered by a machine, but doesn't leave any clues behind
and skitdattles before police could question 'em.
The two partners on the case are in the car and discuss the reliability of man vs. machine.
The woman has a lot of faith in machines and tells her partner to use automatic instead
of manual to avoid human error.
(audio) There's an American researcher who's an expert on Artificial Intelligence and never saw Terminator
2.
His work with artificial intelligence makes you think the scientist is insane in the membrane,
but the psych evaluations show that he's perfectly sane and normal (audio).
However, one day he makes a big mistake when one of his machines becomes self aware.
There's ghost in the machine and someone has to shut down the tech before it's too
late (audio).
It's not as simple as you think though.
One does not simply shut off a switch to artificial intelligence, there's way too much at stake.
For one, there's a lot of benefits for mankind.
For example, the company in the future starts doing tests on injured detectives and changing
them into half human half robot organisms.
So it's a plus for cops who've been hurt in the line of duty (audio).
After an investigation, the main character believes the evil corporation is doing something
far more sinister with the tech and comes up with this whole conspiracy theory that
sounds psychotic at first (audio).
It's also sort of like the pot calling the kettle a racial slur being how the detective
who came up with the conspiracy theory is biased seeing how their body was made by the
company they're blaming (audio).
After they chase one of the robots through the city and it leads to a shootout, the theory
doesn't seem that crazy anymore.
When they final catch the perp, the authorities bring him into the interrogation room.
During the questioning scene they ask the robot the same questions biggy smalls asked
that one girl that one time.
Like what's your name what's your sign, but then they realize something is weird when
they find out the robot has fake memories that were implanted into his brain to give
him a simulated experience (audio).
Everyone knows memories and our experiences are what makes humans human so it's mind
boggling why someone would want to give that trait to a machine.
Giving dreams to a robot isn't a big deal right, wrong!
Here's the catch, no only can scientist implant that into the hardware, but now a
robot could be forced to murder humans which is a big no no (audio).
The robot commits a homicide, but what makes it so bad is that the robot won't get punished
of the crime it's committed (audio).
The nosey investigator goes to this abandoned building.
It's quiet at first, but then the weapon that looks like Ed 209 tries to kill him or
her for trespassing.
The building gets destroyed and the roof crashes down on the main character, but thankfully
he or she survives.
After the building gets destroyed, the lady and the guy with one arm (audio), they both go back to
the apartment where the guy has a drink.
With sober words and thoughts they start losing faith in the corporation little by little.
The crazy robot is bought in to be teriminated.
Me personally, I don't have a problem, putting a bullet through a VCR or any electronic device
for that matter, but I'd be slow to pull the trigger if said device was alive.
The people at the death penalty aren't sure if the robot is a true living life form or
not so they let 'em live.
In the final battle, the humans get some machine guns and then they ba da da da dat ba da da da dat ba
da dat dat dat the A.I. machines.
